Discovered Ibu Spekkoek online today. Called to see if anyone was there and drove straight from Hilversum to Almere. Once there, we were immediately given a warm welcome by the owner in the bakery. He was making several cakes and showed us several Spekkoeks in various flavors. We chose the Kopi Coffee and the Pandan flavor. We also took home 2 Ibu Spekkoek beers. What a wonderfully fun business Ibu Spekkoek is! They have the tastiest Spekkoeks in multiple flavors, in slices, halves, or whole cakes. You can order these online, pick them up immediately (just call ahead), or have them delivered throughout the Netherlands! Just ate a slice of Spekkoek. It was exquisite! Ibu Spekkoek is an absolute must-try! We will be back soon!

Just received delicious spekkoek for Mother's Day. Just as tasty as the ones my Aunt Prul used to bake.

I'm a fan! We often get something here. And last weekend we made guests of our party happy with a heart-shaped layer cake as a thank you. Which could still be made last minute. Delicious and top service!

Delicious spekkoek, highly recommended!

Too bad! I ordered a layer cake on Sunday and picked it up on Monday. I couldn't wait to get it home for coffee. The top was soggy, making it very soft to cut, and the banana flavor wasn't very noticeable. I expected more.

Recently, I treated my colleagues to three kinds of spekkoek (spekkoek). They were thrilled! Not only was it different from the usual whipped cream cake or flan, but above all, it was absolutely delicious. Afterward, I treated myself to a beer from Ibu. It was a bottle from the second batch that Ibu brewed together with Wispe. I'm not talking about IBU, the international bitterness specification for beer. Ibu's beer turned out to be wonderfully mildly spiced. Not overly dark and heavy, but like a light speculaas. And with the last sip, I wondered: why didn't I bring another one? Next time, I'll treat myself to another beer. And perhaps even with a colleague.

Very atmospheric place! Went with a friend this afternoon, and the service is great! A very nice man (I think the owner, or co-owner) gave us a heart spekkoek sample. I read that because I received a brochure! I am also a leaflet deliverer myself (who also delivers IBU leaflets), so I hope more people will come here to get some coffee and delicious bacon biscuits! I will still promote this café on my YouTube channel, as soon as I have the time! Channel name: "Do you want Leader on your bread?" Really a nice cute shop with the perfect spekkoek! Highly recommended, I will definitely visit again!

Spekkoek, also known as lapis legit, is a delightful bite for lots of social occasions. Whether it’s to serve next to your coffee or added to a desert, it’s always unexpectedly welcome. Just like the warmth of the Indonesian culture. Hence, a true gem in Almere and great to have this there-is-always-a-reason to stop by at Ibu Spekkoek. What I like is that the cultural heritage is passed on from generation to generation and that their spekkoek is made with true passion. At least I can recommended to forget mass production for once whenever you are in the supermarket or toko and try out their spekkoek instead. You are not only supporting the cultural heritage (and a culinary craft), but also your inner human as every bite leaves you wanting more.

mooi en goed verpakt! super lekker!!! en hele cretatieve en lekkere smaken waarvan je denkt huh maar uiteindelijk zijn ze allemaal super lekker hele aardige mensen ook je kan tussendoor ook een zonnebankje pakken want die zit naast de winkel op de cineadreef in almere stad. ook leuk als cadeau. en niet te duur ook wat wil je nogmeer?!

Wat een mooie en heerlijke toevoeging deze to go zaak voor Almere. Voor mij zeker niet de laatste keer geweest. Het spekkoekijs (ik had de pandan variant) is een absolute aanrader. Top👍

Wat een super lekkere spekkoek verkopen ze hier, en dat op een achte ambachtelijke manier. Spekkoek zoals spekkoek bedoel is, een echte aanrader!

Niet goedkoop, maar het waard want nog altijd de lekkerste spekkoek die er te krijgen is.

Indische spekkoek in vele vormen en smaken.

Door n advertentie in het wijkkrantje van de Filmwijk hier terecht gekomen. En daar ben ik heel blij om, want hier zijn vakmensen aan het werk die echte spekkoek kunnen maken. Leuk dat ze ook varianten hebben uitgeprobeerd, die heel smaakvol zijn: aardbeien, appel, chocolade, koffie, pandan. Allemaal even smaakvol en gemaakt met goede ingrediënten (kennismakingspakket gekocht). Er wordt zelfs geen palmolie gebruikt. Top!

Altijd weer lekker, verse spekkoek. Makkelijk om af te halen, en thuis eens iets anders te serveren. Erg aardige eigenaar/verkoper.

Naast de zonnestudio aan de Cinemadreef zit deze spekkoekwinkel. Geen plek om iets te eten, maar wel om op te halen. Vriendelijke eigenaar met verstand van zaken.
