Very expensive but tasty food. Altough the food is tasty it’s, in my opinion, not worth the price you can get other sushi places in the area, all you can eat or not, that are way cheaper and have only just a little bit less of tastiness. Even for the cheapest options they’re asking a fortune. The service was standard, the waiters brought the food and besides asking one time if everything tastes good that was really it.

Super tasty sushi. We ate the 5 course menu and then both versions. We also had several mocktails, delicious. Everything looked neat and I understand that it is always busy there. Only the main course was a bit disappointing after so much delicious sushi, the salmon disappeared into the sauce and the meat suddenly came with fries and not with the salmon. Too bad there are no dairy-free desserts while the rest of the food could be. Definitely worth repeating and next time I will just choose from the menu.

Ate here on the recommendation of a friend, called with anticipation and there was room. Upon entering, it was a beautiful place, where a host should be standing to receive you, it was full of boxes. Not expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Walking inside we saw the hustle and bustle of the staff at the bar, lots of vouchers for delivery so that was already a good sign of good food. We were neatly placed and well served. For someone who has spent 20 years in the catering industry, a few small things stood out. The setting is beautiful, the food delicious, the service okay. All in all 7.5 the little details are important. This is not AYCE for €30 per person. We ate and drank for €140.

Always had delicious meat dishes here. Unfortunately, all beef and chicken is now halal. So they have now lost a customer. Many people do not eat halal because it is poorly treated meat. In addition, people of other faiths are not allowed to eat meat “sacrificed to idols”, which is halal. More and more restaurants are switching to halal to be 'inclusive'. However, they do not always realize that they are also excluding customers. Very unfortunate.

Amazing sushi, incredible wasabi and beautiful desserts. I was initially concerned that the sushi would be much of the same (many had the same ingredients such as salmon or crab), but each one looked and tasted different. The ingredients are very fresh and it was simply delicious. I don't eat sushi often, so it may not mean much, but it was definitely the best sushi I've ever had.

Worth every euro. We had dinner 2nd Xmas day. It was a memorable experience both from food and service perspective. All dishes were super tasteful and fresh. We had a great time and will definitely visit again.

You pay per dish here, which means you spend a lot of money quite quickly, but it really tastes delicious. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos.

Great sushi! Very good quality. We stayed at the Efteling hotel and it was neatly delivered to the entrance by car. We received a call five minutes beforehand. When ordering online, we received an email that it would be delivered in about an hour. Finally they arrived after 20 minutes. Communication could be a little better, but we didn't find that a problem. Recommended!

Many friends were already recommending this place for months so we are happy that we could visit the place. Very nice to see that there was a course menu next to individual choices. We went for the menu and were not disappointed. Each course was tasty in it's own creation. For us personally a bit of a lot sauces, but the quality was very good of and we notice that the chef has put a lot of thought into which tastes belongs well to which. The service was very quick and attentive. Location was a bit tough since there are no parking spots nearby once it gets busy. In overall we enjoyed a lot and this place will be on our list! They have managed to invent the weirdest sushi rolls I've tried in my life. There are a lot of mayo in them, and in one of the rolls the rice was deep fried. Whoever has created this madness has no taste. The good thing is that they are open till late, you can get a table at 21.

Totally overpriced. Food was pretty ok. But… They messed up our order twice and mixed it up with another table. Small portions and we had to go to the AH to feed the family as everyone was still hungry. We sat outside and it was not very comfy either.

This way we always had a fresh plate of sushi with surprising preparations. If the distance weren't so far, we would definitely come here often, really great!

15 minuten moeten wachten tot dat we werden geholpen met drinken en uitleg over hoe alles werkte. Daarna nog zeker 30 minuten gewacht op ons eten, toen we aan het wachten waren personeel zien eten en duidelijk op hun telefoon. Toen wij wilde vragen waar ons eten bleef werd ons kortaf en betweterig. Al met al geen leuke ervaring daarom na de eerste ronde eten meteen afgerekend en weggaan.

Had a nice dinner tonight at Ichi Kaatsheuvel. In addition to the delicious dishes that they serve you here, I would especially like to compliment the service, which was really great. We thought the carpaccio was the only dish that looked a bit out of place compared to the other creations. When we made this known to the waiter, we were able to order another dish for free out of goodwill. When at one point a glass of wine was accidentally knocked over, we received a new glass for free. Big compliments Ichi, congratulations! Small point of attention: great music, but could be more in the background

Het eten was heerlijk, vooral vergeleken AYCE concepten. Wel wat overpriced voor wat je krijgt. Ingrediënten zijn goed maar ook weer niet zo bijzonder. De bediening was traag en de dame die ons hielp ging zelfs aan een tafel zitten bij gasten zitten terwijl wij zonder drankjes zaten. Erg teleurstellend.

Great meal, I first called to ask if there was room for the same evening. Unfortunately it was too full at the time and they couldn't move anything. Less than 4 minutes later we received a call back that they had made room for us after all. Top! And we sat and ate wonderfully. Highly recommended👌🏼

After a day at Efteling we thought we had come to the right place. Not very cheap, but if the Sushi tastes delicious, price is more subjective. We received an English card; We would have preferred a Dutch menu, but it fits in with the trendy appearance of the restaurant. After we had ordered, after waiting 75 minutes, we asked again if our order had gone through. It turned out to be very busy and they were not prepared for that crowd, the waitress said. Strange, because you can expect customers around the holidays, we thought. And yes... the first main course arrived. Wonderful, because our stomachs were rumbling after such an intensive day. My daughter ordered the "BEEF TENDERLOIN 150GR". Indeed it was a very small and scanty piece of meat. The meat was good, but as a main course for €25 you would at least expect a main course. However, it was a meager piece of meat with a carrot and a small piece of broccoli. Even though my daughter is not a big eater, it was very little even for her. Luckily we had ordered a portion of fries, so she still had some filling. However, our two main courses did not arrive. By now my daughter had eaten her main course alone. Very uncomfortable if there are three of you sitting at the table. Serving the main courses at the same time was not an option, even though we had already asked where our dishes were. After waiting another 45 minutes, our main course finally arrived. These were again very small portions! Although the taste was good, the fish was garnished very sparingly. More rice than anything else. When we asked whether wasabi, ginger and soya sauce would also be served, after waiting another fifteen minutes, we were served a scant portion of ginger and wasabi. The soya sauce was missing. After this we were so done with Ichi Kaatsheuvel that we got up with a relatively empty stomach and paid. When the young lady asked if it had been satisfactory and I indicated what was wrong, I as a customer was serenaded with all kinds of apologies and explanations as to why things had turned out this way. As a customer you are not looking forward to this. An empathetic understanding of the customer experience was lacking. Of course, things can sometimes turn out differently than you would like, but this was disappointment after disappointment. There was no compensation for the price reduction. I didn't ask about it myself, because I mainly wanted to leave after this disappointment. The young service is friendly, but seems very inexperienced, not customer-oriented and not attuned to each other. The restaurant looks hip and dance music (not something for a restaurant, but fits with the youth and the hip appearance) is played. The music is very loud and the acoustics in the restaurant are terrible, so you have to talk very loudly to hear each other. Because everyone does that of course, it becomes one big cacophony of sound. Not really relaxing, atmospheric and cozy. We had to pay a whopping €66 for a few sushis, the aforementioned main course, a Japanese teapot (with scant contents!), apple juice, poor service, no soy sauce, a long wait, noise, a miniscule portion of ginger and wasabi. You understand, we will never come back here again! Still many opportunities for improvement!

A small restaurant near the Efteling. Young staff and especially young audience. Management still has a lot to learn. Lots of staff behind the bar with phones in their hands. I had to ask for the menu myself, even though I had been waiting for a while. The 2 young blonde women who came after me were served immediately by the young waiter. The food is delicious, the sushi excellent. Beautiful presentation of the dishes. The pots of Japanese tea were only a quarter full with hot water. I said something about this and ended up receiving full jars without a new bag. This was communicated explicitly. Pay attention here, small details that count. The card shows a pot of tea. It's not just about the money, it's about the service. I would definitely come back here. The food is pricey, but definitely worth it. Nevertheless, the waitress who eventually helped us was very friendly.

Food is usually good but a very rude manager. After a wrong delivery, just call and you will be snubbed and called a grump if you say anything about it. Not used to Ichi Update . Because you can't respond to Ichi's reaction. It was the wrong dish, not just the sauce, the suggestion was to send the sauce, not the whole dish! It would also be cold. And only after I indicated that I didn't want just the sauce was I called a grump and offered to send a new dish. So don't water things down and especially Don't start talking about communication because your staff is insulting. Also don't be surprised if this response is written by the same person. It is not even about the wrong dish but about the rude way of a so-called manager who swears at his customers. Regarding the reviews, what did you expect, a positive review? The food is usually very tasty. But please provide a customer service course for the staff. I see that more negative reviews have been written about the service last year! Went to Ichi Kaatsheuvel a few weeks ago. Reserved via the site with express instructions to arrive on time. We had discussed it at 7:00 PM and finally we were taken to a table at 7:13 PM, which was the time we had to go. still be covered, acting on time does not apply to Ichi. After viewing the cards and ordering everything, it took more than 45 minutes for the first order to arrive. It was advised to order as much as possible at once to avoid long waiting times. The sushis ordered were tasty, but more a feast for the eyes than for the taste. We thought we would go to a better Sushi restaurant given the prices charged, but that turned out not to be the case, a cacophony of noise and everything shouting behind (read aloud) ground music, in an average "AYCE" restaurant you eat more quietly. The service was very nice. The deciding factor in never going there again was a bottle of Panna still water (0.75 liters) for € 8.00 on the bill. All in all, a sad experience to have paid €300.00 for 4 people to eat from 7:13 PM to 10:00 PM. And then the unfortunate location, you can't park anywhere, we were almost at the Efteling.

Heerlijke sushi, echt super kwaliteit! Alleen was bediening kortaf toen we halverwege de avond vroegen of we wat langer konden blijven dan het tijdslot van 2.5 uur, omdat we in 1.5 uur tijd pas 1 (!) ronde hebben gehad. Uiteindelijk mochten we gelukkig wel langer blijven, maar in de ruim 3.5 uur die we gezeten hebben, hebben we slechts 4 rondes kunnen bestellen (3x ronde van 1 gerecht pp en 1x ronde van 2 gerechten pp). Heel erg jammer dat dit zo lang moest duren...

Mijn ervaringen bij Ichi zijn altijd aangenaam geweest. We hebben hier verscheidene keren ter plaatse gedineerd en hebben ook regelmatig online bestellingen geplaatst. Wat altijd opviel, was de bovengemiddelde kwaliteit van het eten. De sushi's die hier worden geserveerd, hebben vaak indruk gemaakt met hun versheid en smaak. Echter, de grootte van de porties lijkt aanzienlijk kleiner te zijn dan voorheen, terwijl de prijzen ook nog eens verhoogd zijn. Voor lange tijd was ik van mening dat Restaurant Ichi in alle opzichten vijf sterren waard was, zowel wat betreft het eten als de ambiance. Maar deze waardering moet ik herzien naar vier sterren voor het eten en drie sterren voor de algehele waarde voor het geld. Ik hoop oprecht dat het restaurant deze feedback ter harte neemt en streeft naar de hoge standaard die we in het verleden hebben ervaren.

Dit restaurant staat oprecht in mijn top 10. Ik heb nog geen lekkerdere sushi elders mogen eten… heel speciaal. Soms zelfs nog delen warm. Een tijdje terug was het even wat minder qua tijd/ bediening maar sinds de nieuwe manager er is, helemaal hersteld! Super snel en ze zien je echt zitten als klant. Our favourite place. Ebi tempura, sashimi sarada, spekuk, green tea ice cream, ichi roll, sake gunkan, all of it is lovely!!! So much variety, even people who do not like fish have plenty of choice. Their variety-quaklity-price ratio is just right.

Gisteren bij Ichi geweest. Wat kunnen wij hier genieten van het heerlijke eten. Het is een feestje op tong.

Heelijk gegeten! De beste sushi eet je hier! Mooi restaurant met vriendelijk personeel.

De verwarming mocht iets hoger. Voor de rest was het eten eerst wat laat, de tweede en derde ronde waren beter qua tijd.

Afgelopen weekend sushi besteld, maar het duurde heel erg lang voordat het aan kwam. Tijdens het wachten twee maal telefonisch contact gehad en het is uiteindelijk super netjes opgelost. En natuurlijk was de sushi zoals altijd weer heerlijk!
