Good food, nice service, and beautiful surroundings

We ordered two chicken satays. The fries were incredibly greasy; even if you squeezed them a little, a lot of grease came out. The accompanying prawn crackers were also soft and chewy. New fries were delivered, which were better, but didn't deserve the "tasty and good" comment.

Unfortunately a bad experience. Dirty, already cleared, tables outside. Dirty napkins everywhere on the terrace. Waited for 20 minutes, made eye contact but no reaction. We left again, also no reaction there. It was not full, quite a few staff walking around. Too bad, years ago we had a nice meal. But with these prices you have to provide some kind of service

It was really a surprise. I came from Ranzijn with my old neighbor and thought we could have lunch somewhere. Checking on Google and hoppetee there was the closest option. Nice parking lot and also a great wheelchair-friendly entrance. My neighbor really appreciated that. Nice welcome and what a wonderfully beautiful restaurant with a mighty terrace. The food was classy and the service perfect. I will definitely drive here again from Middenbeemster. Wonderful.

The food was very good. It took quite a while before the food order was taken, but the drinks were taken. It's just a shame that you get that nasty Pepsi mess when you specifically order Coca Cola Zero. I really didn't appreciate that.

Sunday afternoon, lovely sunshine, pleasantly busy, so nice on the terrace. Just after half past four, a waitress came to take the last round, because they close at five! While the terrace and inside were packed. Pay everyone and leave. Incredible! By the way, we weren't feeling well. A few annoying guests were constantly sailing back and forth across the lake. Next time we will go somewhere else!

Had a nice lunch with my grandson. It was fun in IJgenweis, busy with people of all ages. Delicious fries with frikandel 😋. And of course we had a lovely walk and played in the Streekbos. Beautiful weather was a real gift today and the Streekbos is nice and close and a beautiful area to be outside

Nice place, tasty food and friendly staff. It can get too busy so booking is needed. They have a beautiful terrace. Highly recommended for lunch or drinks.

Today we wanted to have lunch here, it was very busy but we found an empty table, we had just settled in when an employee informed us that the table had been reserved at 12:30. She quickly put up a reservation sign and we were able to make do with that. She immediately walked away, so we decided to leave as there were no tables available. We will never come back here again, what poor service. Our advice: stay away from here if the weather is nice!

The warm goat cheese salad was well filled with different complementary flavors. Just the way I like it. I would have liked something smaller and cheaper. Nice place, except when it's busy. Then it's just like a chicken coop. Maybe something can be done with that in terms of acoustics 😊

Seen a foreign boy inappropriately in the stubborn snack bar before. Anyway, now that I ordered fries, everyone got them before me and quickly turned off the fryer while he was eating fries himself. I got my money back from the girl he worked with, but the boy was extremely unprofessional. No tent to ever spend a cent on again!!!! The restaurant, on the other hand, is super neat and hospitable!

We were served at a table around 13 today, we wanted to sit inside without being taken into account by drafts, we could choose the table, the food and drinks were very good and the service was fast. We come by more often. It is highly recommended, fam sikking

It is a nice place in a beautiful place with good food. However, a vacuum cleaner could be run through the shop and into the corners more often. And a cloth over the tables.

Big party with about 60 people. In the 3 hours I was there... I was offered a drink twice. Even if I go to the bar to ask for a drink, they send me back to my table and say that someone will come by there. It's bloody hot inside, but getting a drink is a big problem!! Don't throw parties here!!

We had to wait for lunch for over an hour, I asked 3 times can I take paracetamol, I'm pregnant! Unfortunately we left without lunch!

A really nice location. Lovely terrace on the water. And also nicely decorated inside. The atmosphere is good. Delicious special coffees and the home-made monchou cake 😋

We had a marvelous lunch here. Staff is great and very helpful when it comes to questions regarding ingredients. The taste of the food is great. (Not a salad fan, but finished also the side salad 😄 which says it all)

Upon arrival it was not clear whether we could choose our own place or whether a place would be assigned to us. So we waited a while. Even though several employees saw us, no contact was made with us. Then we asked ourselves if we could sit somewhere. Drinks came quickly, but to order the food we had to get an employee ourselves to order (they were quite busy chatting with each other). When ordering, we indicated that we wanted our daughter's pizza with the starter and her poffertjes with the main course. Unfortunately this didn't work, because the poffertjes came with our starter...... Paying was difficult again, because no one came. We wanted to take some things home with us, so we had to declare it at the bar ourselves and then receive a container in which we had to put it in ourselves. We did not get the idea that the girls wanted to work for their money.

We came here to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. Made a cup of coffee or tea. Unfortunately, this did not go very smoothly. Family members were spread over two long tables. One table received their coffee or tea quite quickly, the other table had to wait quite a long time for it. In round number 2, a table was even completely skipped with the order. Even after asking several times. Several family members approached the staff to report that something was not going well. When round number 3 was offered, we indicated that round number 2 had not even happened yet. We thought this was very sloppy. Staff indicated that this was due to the equipment... sorry, but you cannot blame the equipment for that. Then start the old-fashioned way with a notepad and a pen?? But no. Later with the snacks things went quite smoothly and things seemed to be going well. All in all mixed feelings.

Heerlijk gegeten! Eten is super. Alleen de bediening is ontzettend slecht.. helaas komt er bijna niemand naar de tafel om bestellingen op te nemen of te vragen of je nog iets te drinken wilt. Ik heb dit nu al meerdere keren meegemaakt voor mij een reden om niet meer te komen. Jammer! Want verder een erg leuke plek.

Leuke bruiloft hier gehad, alles was goed geregeld. Bediening was snel, buffet was erg lekker en uitgebreide keuze. Mooie locatie aan het water goede parkeergelegenheid.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten en koffie gedronken aan de waterkant genoten van de bootjes enz. Was er wel rommelig. Op alle tafels stond nog de vuile boel van de vorige mensen die er hadden gezeten. Het werd niet weggehaald en de tafels ook niet zchoongemaakt. Een beetje jammer.

Schönes Ausflugslokal in der Nähe von Enkhuizen in einer Naherholungsanlage. Unser Essen war auch gut, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, wir würden wiederkommen. Auf der Außenterasse sitzt man sehr schön und hat einen schönen Blick auf den See. (06/23)

Mooi plekje aan het water. Lekker eten

Wachten op een tafel. Bediening kijkt je niet eens aan. Wil je eten bestellen en wordt er gezegd , letterlijk nee. Je mag nu wat te drinken bestellen en dan straks eten bestellen . Nooit zoiets meegemaakt bij een restaurant. Gewoon Slecht .

Ontvangst was prima. Echter kregen wij te horen dat het druk was, en dat wij daardoor nog niet konden bestellen. Geen probleem natuurlijk. Maar 3 kwartier later nogsteeds niemand. En mensen die later gingen zitten, kregen wel al eten. Erg jammer....

Leuke plek met vriendelijke bediening. Goede cappuccino gedronken tijdens onze fietstocht.

Ze zijn heel beperkt open. Steeds als ik hier langs loop, zijn ze gesloten.

Leuke en gezellige plek om koffie te drinken en/of te lunchen. Wij hadden geluk dat we lekker buiten konden zitten aan het water; heerlijk! Fijn en vlotte bediening, heerlijke belegde broodjes

We waren hier met vrienden en onze 2 kinderen onder de 10 en zoals de titel zegt waren de ervaringen zeer wisselend. Zo waren de uitsmijter en kip a la kelly prima kwaliteit, maar de uitsmijter ook niks meer dan basic. Juist de tosti en picolini's voor de kids vrij triest te noemen. Van de tosti begrepen we al van de medewerker dat het één schamel driehoekje betreft, waar je dan € 3,50 voor betaald. Dus toen zeiden we al: maak er dan maar een dubbele van, waarop ze de goede suggestie gaf dat een normale tosti dan iets goedkoper uitpakte voor € 6,50. Prima natuurlijk, maar ook dat was niks meer dan 2 dikkere plakken brood met ham en kaas ertussen, heel basic. Maar wat helemaal belachelijk was, was de € 6 die je betaalt voor wat uiteindelijk 3 Dr. Oetker picolini's uit de diepvries betreft. Die halen wij weleens thuis voor de kinderen, en natuurlijk kan je in een restaurant geen supermarktprijzen verwachten, maar voor iets wat ze niet eens zelf maken (een tosti kan je nog zelfgemaakt noemen) en alleen in de oven gooien en dan 6x (!!) de prijs van de supermarkt rekenen, is gewoon je klanten bedonderen. Ja er staat duidelijk bij dat het 3 mini pizza's zijn, maar niemand van ons gezelschap had verwacht dat het deze mini's zouden zijn gezien de prijs. Het staat ook totaal niet in verhouding, want de uitsmijter voor €10 is gewoon 3-4x zoveel. En wat we op een andere tafel zagen, de friet met kipnuggets (of iets anders) voor € 7 was gewoon een compleet bord vol. Nee, als je dan zo graag je menu wilt vullen, maak de prijs dan ook naar wat het is. Had hier €3 tot 3,50 voor gevraagd en het was nog reëel te noemen, dit is bespottelijk. Neemt verder niet weg dat de koffie lekker is en ook de taartjes goed smaakten, maar ook hier geldt weer dat juist de dingen waar de kinderen voor kozen, de muffins, gortdroog waren. De kwaliteit is dus gigantisch wisselend helaas en daarom kan ik dit restaurant ook niet aanbevelen. De grootste misser die een restaurant kan maken is zoveel verschil in kwaliteit, want dan weet je dus ook een volgende keer niet waar je aan toe bent. Daarom komt er voor ons dan ook geen volgende keer. Jammer, want de locatie is leuk. Maar onze vrienden zijn hier vaker geweest en merkten al op dat de kaart extreem vereenvoudigd is. Blijkbaar is er dus een andere eigenaar of veranderde focus, maar grotendeels niet geslaagd. Want als je met een simpelere kaart al niet overal dezelfde kwaliteit kan leveren en niet eens alles zelf maakt, dan doe je toch iets niet goed.

Inmiddels voor de 4e keer dit seizoen hier om iets te drinken of eten. En wederom zitten we meer dan een half uur te wachten op ons drinken. We hebben onze taart al op en 25 min later nog geen drankje. 1 persoon heeft z’n koffie al gekregen en na 3 x navragen bleek dat we de rest van de bestelling niet meer kregen. Sorry, we hadden het verkeerd begrepen. Wat een communicatie zeg. En als dit nou een keer gebeurd, dat kan. Maar 4 x op rij dat je zo lang moet wachten of gewoon niks krijgt. Mensen ga iets doen aan jullie communicatie! Want iedereen doet maar wat.
