IJscafé Danice Leiden in Binnenstad-Noord

Since there's no reason not to try ice cream on a gloomy day, I decided to give this ice cream parlor a go. And I left pleasantly surprised. The selection is a bit limited in November, but the bright yellow of the mango ice cream immediately caught my eye. The atmosphere in the café was very relaxed, and we had an interesting conversation. The ice cream was wonderfully creamy, the flavor was delicious, and the cone was fresh and crisp. If I'm ever in Leiden again, I'll definitely come back. Plus, I had a very nice chat with the staff.

The ice cream is delicious, they are (usually) large balls, the whipped cream is also good, fun to give to children

Small, but very nice ice café. Take away your preferred ice cream and beverages or have a seat inside/ outside. Great large Cappuccino with a little ice cone - delicious. (Unfortunately, I took the pulicture after having enjoyed the ice cream already. :) Very friendly staff.

I tried the ice cream, I bought the raspberry and chocolate from Dubai. The raspberry was not a success, but the Dubai chocolate was different and good, I recommend it.

The ice creams don't have much flavor and are way too sweet.

The ice cream taste is good, but it came especially for a gluten-free cone that unfortunately had run out, very disappointing.

Delicious ice cream and good scoops! Very nice that all flavors are permanently on “the menu” and are always available. In the summer I come here almost every day. My personal favorites are white chocolate, stracciatella and banana. On hot days it can sometimes be a bit busy.

What delicious ice cream. We were able to take it home and even after it had been in the freezer for a while it was still excellent. Pleasant lady behind the counter, happy to have a chat. Definitely recommended.

I get there and it's open until 9pm. We arrive at 7:14 PM to get an ice cream, the place is closed and I'm not happy about that, so I give it 1 star! If only they had been clearer with the times!!

This business is based on mass sales and therefore makes strange concessions to the sale of artisanal ice creams. You should not be surprised if your tongue glows blue for a long time after eating, for example, a 'Smurf' ice cream. I also think it is inappropriate these days that you cannot simply pay with cash. Whatever arguments you think you can put forward, they are certainly not valid and therefore say more about your business than you would think at first glance as an entrepreneur of a franchise.

Sooo, 1 scoop is almost three scoops! Delicious ice cream and the price of 1 scoop compared to what you get is great!

Vriendelijk maar weinig en geen bijzondere smaken. Verderop zag ik andere ijs cafés die er leuker uit zagen.

Bu zamana kadar yediğim en güzel waffle'ı yapan restoran. Birkaç defa dondurmalarını da yedik ve beğenmiştik, bu kez waffle'ını da deneyelim dedik ve hiç pişman olmadık. Sunumları çok güzel, yemek işinde görüntü aldatıcı olabiliyor çoğunlukla ama koydukları malzeme ve yiyecek lezzeti mükemmeldi. Restoranın tek kötü tarafı personelin aldırmazlığı. Gittiğimizde içeride sadece bir müşteri vardı ve waffle'ları sipariş ettik, 15 dakikada hazır olacağı söylendi. O sırada içeride 4 çalışan vardı. Bir anda insan yığını geldi yaklaşık 15 kişilik. Mekanın kalabalık olduğunu bilmelerine rağmen çalışan iki personel restorandan ayrıldılar ve kalan iki personel sırayı halletmek de zorlandılar, haliyle siparişlerimiz de epey gecikti. Bu yoğunluk anında personelin restoranı bırakıp gitmesi yanlış, siparişlerin gecikmesine ve kalan personelin zorlanmasına sebep oluyor. Ama personelin hepsi güler yüzlü.

Lekker ijs! Ze hebben veel soorten ijs. Je wordt er vlot en vriendelijk geholpen. Je kunt binnen en buiten zitten, met uitzicht over het water

Bloedverziekend heet op de jaarmarkt van de lakenfeesten en dan de temperatuur verlagen met een lekker ijsje van IJscafé Danice. Mmmm lekker!

Sehr sehr leckeres Eis. Wenn auch teuer pro Kugel. Diese allerdings recht groß gewesen. Kann man empfehlen.

Leckeres Eis, nicht günstig aber die Kugeln waren recht groß. Es gab auch Sorten ohne Milch, für Leute mit Laktoseintoleranz super.

Heerlijk ijs, veel lactosevrije opties en kreeg zelfs een lactosevrij hoorntje! Verder ook altijd vriendelijke medewerkers en gezellig plekje.

Hermosa heladería, muy confiable y comfortable, incluso tienen unos bancos para que los niños suban a mirar el escaparate con la diversidad de sabores de helados. El precio es accesible y se puede pagar con tarjeta. Hay mesitas adentro y afuera del local. Ofrecen café, smoothies, panini, tortas, además de los helados. Además hay un gran espacio para parquear la bicicleta y una linda vista al río/canales de agua.

ايسكريم من الاخر لا صدق حلو الفيو جميل لطيف

Von Außen sieht es sehr ansprechend aus. Die Bestellung muss man an der Theke aufgeben. Kaum will man sich hinsetzen sieht man: Alle Tische dreckig und überall liegt der Müll von den Eisbechern/Hörnchen. Wir haben einen Eiskaffee und einen Latte Macchiato bestellt. Der Eiskaffee hatte nichts mit Kaffee zu tun, wohl eher Vanilleeis mit Milch und Sahne und obendrauf 1kg Zucker. Viel zu Süß. Außerdem beides sehr lieblos angerichtet. Sterne gibt es nur für den schönen Ausblick von der Terrasse.

Awesome icecrem place, reasonable prices and big selection of flavors. Other items on menu as well but if ice cream is what you want this is the place.
