Luciano Leiden in Stevenshofdistrict

Yummy ice cream, and the employees are very nice and helpful.

What a lovely place, it looks cozy and the staff are friendly! The ice cream was, of course, delicious!

All the ice cream flavors are delicious 😋 we can hardly ever walk past without enjoying a combination of ice cream flavors on the terrace 👍🏼

Fine. Not much to criticize. Except that it wasn't clear what some flavors entailed, such as the flavor titled "flavor of the month" or the flavor "known from vtwonen".

Disappointing experience We just got two ice creams here. While scooping the second ice cream, part of the scoop fell off. When I asked if she would replace it, I was just given a sheepish look and nothing further happened. The result was that my scoop of ice cream was considerably smaller than what was paid for. That can happen, but resolving it properly is also acceptable. It was precisely the latter that was completely lacking. For us, this was the last time we got ice cream here. If I had been alone, I wouldn't have paid, and she could have stuck the ice cream where the sun doesn't shine.

Just went to get an ice cream here with my three children who have Celiac disease. What they can eat is already very limited. One of the things they can do without worry is getting an ice cream. Provided the staff washes their hands or puts on gloves, grabs a clean spoon, and is willing to scoop a ball from a section of the ice cream that hasn't been served yet. The staff refused to do this, and when I said that scooping from a fresh container (which is quite normal in 90% of ice cream parlors) is actually the only real service for people with a severe allergy, the girl laughed meanly and said with a laugh, "Well, ma'am, we don't do that here." So, this is the last time I'll be coming here. It's a shame, because for our children, this should be a relaxing outing.

We got ice cream here with the children last weekend. The raspberry ice cream was especially delicious.

Best ice cream shop in the Netherlands 😍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If this isn't love at first bite, I don't know what is. This ice cream cake from Luciano Leiden is so delicious that I'm seriously considering celebrating my birthday monthly from now on. Creamy, perfectly balanced, and those chocolate sticks on top? Pure art. It almost felt a shame to cut into it... almost. Within five minutes, it was gone, and everyone was enjoying it suspiciously quietly. Conclusion: dangerously delicious. Don't go here if you're on a diet. Or maybe you should, because some choices in life you just have to make. 🍰🍦 Luciano, you're officially my weak spot.

Our favorite ice cream parlor. Whenever we are in the neighborhood, we always stop by to get ice cream. Very good ice cream and pleasant service. Also a fantastic owner.

Ice cream cones are being handled by employees with their bare hands. I come here regularly for an ice cream and ALWAYS received one with a wrapper. Besides the fact that the ice cream is tasty, this is a second reason I come here. Now, suddenly, they won't put a wrapper on a cone anymore because they were "out of stock." Do you really believe that as an ice cream shop?! How am I supposed to know that these employees wash their hands regularly (after cleaning the tables, for example) before handling a cone for a customer? Hygiene is nowhere to be found. It's a shame. Hopefully, the owner will take action on this.

Friendly staff and nice icecream

Has very tasty Italian ice cream

Always delicious Always enjoyable Different flavors, fantastic

Delicious ice cream and always friendly

Went to Luciano's for the first time in Leiden and it was delicious! Mango sorbet and dark chocolate sorbet, enjoy!

Delicious ice cream, friendly staff. Not many tables inside.

Super nice service, great ambience and then vegan ice cream - especially chocolate! A dream

Nice ice cream parlour, good ice cream, many flavors, quick service. 🍦🧁👌🏻

Surprisingly nice coffee, Marcia is a super nice owner

Delicious ice cream with very friendly and sweet staff

Always good! Delicious ice cream, nice atmosphere, nice and clean place! Also highly recommended on these hot days. Beautiful flavors and high quality!

The best ice creams in the area

An other legendary ice cream shop. The sugar free ice cream selection a bit weak but any other is mint

Dernet with my size ice cream, got many large scoops but asked if they could be smaller 👌

Great ice cream, but what prices and what pathetic scoops. 1.89 for a small bun with a flavour. Whipped cream is just about 1 spoon, etc. It could be a bit more generous for that price. Come on! We had 3 buns in a cone, with a little bit of whipped cream. 17.95… if you say something about it they giggle a bit… Wassenaar is a lot more generous!

Tasty ice cream of various flavors! Including coffee!

Always pleasant staff and excellent ice cream. They've done their best with a teeny-tiny space but they have to keep the garbage can outside so that they can fit 8 people at tables and another 10 being served. Three or four families and it's crowded, and no room for kids in strollers. Also, this is the Netherlands so everyone is on their bicycle, but once they lock it up, the sidewalk is blocked. The bikes are being stored properly, it's just that Luciano's has more customers than the location can appropriately handle. Especially on hot days or on market days. And by more customers, I mean my group of seven was one of about four groups to order ice cream cones between 16:15 and 16:45 in the cold of winter. Edited 03FEB2024: To clarify, it's a great place and very popular. Service is quick even when busy. There is rarely a place to sit, and if you do find a seat, it's not peaceful. On a nice day, walk over to the nearby park with your cone instead.

Always delicious and friendly staff!

Awesome coffee and gelato. Can't go wrong here. The coffee creations and ice cream cakes are also wonderful.

Beautiful icecream and good prices Lovely staff and a nice little shop to sit in and enjoy your treats!

Verwennerij.

Cute place, tasty ice cream & coffee which also came with a mini ice cream

Lekker ijs , veel verschillende smaken

Verrassend veel keus en zelfs glutenvrij. Heerlijk ijs en vriendelijk personeel.

Gelato buonissimo e servito da ragazzi e ragazze gentilissimi. E' da provare assolutamente!

Heerlijke ijs soorten.

Very tasty ice cream and very nice staff. Also good music!

Team super gezellig.

Het lekkerste ijsje van hele Leiden!

Amazing ICE cream and espresso!!!

Amazing place with super-tasty ice-cream!

Waar je altijd vriendelijk word bedient, heerlijke ijs

Love their products, ice cream, iced drinks, macarons, tea, etc

Vakkundig personeel. Heerlijk ijs. Ommetje waard
