The balls were small and the texture was too cold, making it impossible to enjoy the flavor. It wasn't anything special, and I wouldn't buy it again.

The ice cream was tiny; they give you more if you ask for a taste test in small bites than in a full scoop. The ice cream was hard and icy. I won't be back.

Delicious ice cream and not expensive

This place is awful, we went there last night and the worker refused to give a sample and then gave us the worlds smallest ball of icecream. I could’ve gotten more icecream from a sample soon than the ball I was given. Lesson learnt, never come here again

Very good Italian ice cream shop where you can also order delicious espresso and a very tasty Caprese sandwich (when it's quiet). The Turkish bread was tasty.

Such nice guys working here! My boyfriend raved about the waffle (which he can be quite picky about) and butter cake. Yummy ice cream as well. As we sat down outside to enjoy another customer was telling the staff how much she liked her chocolate ice cream as well and kept giving them thumbs up.

A true gelateria italiana! Excellent ice cream, great choice, and really nice service. They do speak italian , and English and Dutch … we had « a coppa » and it was a real treat. Then we had an Espresso, and they use Illy caffé, which is really good. The taste of Italy!

The employees are rude, they don’t even let you try a single taste of ice cream. I ended up eating a way expensive ice cream of very poor quality. For sure it is not “handmade” as stated. Supermarket quality I would say. Don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to waster your money on bad quality food.

Service: customer-unfriendly; the passionless man behind the counter said nothing and made no effort whatsoever.

Tasty creamy ice cream but they are stingy with the portion compared to other gelato shops in Amsterdam and other cities #SmallestPortion. They also won't let you try a tiny bit of a flavour you don't know. This was the reason we didn't go back and won't recommend

IJssalon Tofani is highly recommended for artisanal ice cream lovers. They make the ice cream themselves, and you can taste it immediately. The flavors are rich and creamy, with a pure and fresh taste that you won't easily find anywhere else. Whether you choose a classic flavor or something surprising, everything tastes prepared with care. Additionally, they have a nice little terrace where you can sit comfortably and enjoy an ice cream in the sun. A lovely spot in the center of Amsterdam for truly good ice cream.

The price-quality ratio is really good for an ice cream parlor these days! I highly recommend a visit. The ice cream parlor is close to the center and the red light district, so it's a great place to stop during your evening stroll.

I was looking for a good artisanal gelato like the one you find in Italy, and I have to say I was satisfied. The staff (truly Italian) was very kind. You can tell it's a quality gelato.

It's the worst I've ever eaten. Because what they sell isn't ice cream at all. It's just frozen fruit-flavored water. When you eat it, the consistency of the ice cream doesn't stay in your mouth; you can tell you're gnawing on ice. Luckily, the ice cream cone was real, and I was suspicious that it was made of cardboard.

Really good ice cream. Sad that the staff is so awful. Wanted to order more and got an attitude and a smug “we’d like to close, you know” an hour before closing time. Rude and arrogant for no reason.

We paid 4.50 for two tiny scoops of gelato. We got dark chocolate. It is the worst gelato I have ever had. And we’ve been many places in Europe. It was grainy, almost like there was sawdust type texture in it. It didn’t taste like sugar granules but flex of some substance that we couldn’t identify. The taste was horrible. We thought about going back and returning it, but we didn’t think that they would take it back just because we didn’t like it. It may have just been the dark chocolate. You may have better luck with other flavors.

The lemon, on the other hand, was refreshing, zesty, and full of natural citrus flavor. It balanced out the chocolate perfectly, making for a great contrast. Really authentic italian ice cream, coffee and most of all Panini. I loved every bite and every sip. If you are looking for a simple but delicious snack you should definitely visit. The Cannoli are amazing too! (I think the prise is reasonable for this kind of quality, but of course everyone has different budgets and opinions!)
