This is my go-to place whenever I want to have wonderful homemade south indian food. The comfort of home, the smiles & service of a very experienced cook and the love and warmth that comes along with the food is beyond words. Its is impossible that you step out of that house without a satisfied tummy and a very happy heart

With a group of 4 I ate at Rajani Nambiars South Indian Kitchen. I had a pleasant and nice contact with Rajani about the menu in advance, where I could indicate what we wanted or didn't want. Upon our arrival we were welcomed hospitably and were immediately allowed to sit at the kitchen table. It didn't take long before the starter was already on the table and we were eating deliciously. With all the dishes we got an explanation of what it was, what it was made of and sometimes also how we should eat it. All the food she had made was delicious! Due to the intimate setting and the hospitality of Rajani and Jan you felt very comfortable and I quickly got the feeling that I had known them for a long time. I thought the food was delicious and would like to come back again. Our menu: STARTER: • Vada served with Chutney MAIN COURSE: • Ghee Rice with Cashew nut,Raisins & Saffren • Dal with light seasoning • Butter Chicken • Mixed Ripe Fruit Salad • Stirfried Veg./Cabbage • Eggplant Salad • Pathrode (a delicacy from Udupi) DESSERT: • Moong dal payasam • Papadam etc.

I would start by saying one of the best places I have been. It’s a home where Rajani serves food. It’s “authentic” home made Indian food and I could connect the taste to Kerala and Karnataka. Taste, service, quantity was too good. I felt like I visited one of my near ones. I highly recommend this place and even though the food is one of the best, the overall experience is mesmerising.

Lekker eten in de huiskamer van dit huiskamer restaurant. Vegetarisch is ook mogelijk en is zeer uitgebreid. Je moet wel een afspraak maken, want het is niet altijd open. De opbrengst gaat naar een goed doel in India.

Rajani Aunty's love for good food is apparent in the food she serves. Everything's as perfect as you'd have in your own home.

Dear Rajani, Thanks for a great day. I've learned so much about the traditional Udupi flavours in the workshop. Your energetic and passionate way of cooking is inspiring. I am glad I brought my notebook with me so I can quietly process all the wonderfull recipies you shared at home :) I hope to keep you up to date of my progress. All the best.

Rajani not only provides you with a "home style" South Indian meal but also welcomes you with open arms into her home giving excellent hospitality. My husband and I have been to her place for dinner a number of times and have always felt at home. No better way to start our weekend than to have dosas at Jan and Rajani's! Highly recommended!!!

Home away from Home. Perfect place to meet new people, have a great food, variety with lovely smile and super service from Rajani. You must try it atleast once if you are in Holland, else you missing something.

Been there 2-3 times . I would say the best Masala Dosa you can get in NL. If you get down at Schiphol airport , in a radius of 90+ kms ,from there , this is the first place I would say, to get the best South Indian food.! Real home made taste. The Ambiance is very good and the host ..Just one word.. Finest ..Unparalled ..Person . Don't miss it!

My husband and I went for the monthly Sunday lunch. It comes highly recommended. We had a wonderful time. She serves delicious South Indian/Udupi food. Another reason we liked the whole experience was mainly because it has a very homely feel to the entire lunch. It's more like friends meeting up for lunch. If you are like us, craving for home made yummy food, you must definitely visit!

This is like going to a home-cooked meal with friends and family! The food is excellent (and authentic), and it's also a great place to meet new people. We go once or twice a month.

Ofcourse one of best south indian food in netherlands!! I would highly recommend to try it.
