After ordering from you about 25 times, it's time for a positive review. I love the shrimp curries. You get a generous portion every time; sometimes I can eat a portion and a half. Very flavorful, incredibly delicious. Definitely recommended!

A fantastic and delicious restaurant! Excellent quality, delicious and healthy food, and fantastic service. We regularly order from Indian Summer, sometimes we pick it up and sometimes we have it delivered. The staff is very friendly; you can tell the kitchen is passionate about its food. And although the Mushroom Tawa is off the menu, the chef might be willing to recreate it for those who are interested. For example, I'm a huge fan of the mushroom dish, and he prepared a delicious one for me again last week. I tried to order it, but it turned out it was no longer on the menu. Super customer-friendly and hospitable! 🙏 Thank you, Indian Summer!

I visited this place together with a friend for dinner. As an Indian, I didn't like the ambiance of the restaurant. We wanted to try a variety of dishes. We ordered samosa chat, darbari kofta, lachha paratha, vegetable raita, mango lassi, rasgulla, and gulab jamun. Although the staff are friendly and polite; their service is SUPER SLOW, and one has to wait for 40-50 mins for the food to be on the table that kills one's appetite. As far as taste is concerned, except paratha (it was undercooked inside and overcooked outside), I do not have complaints with other dishes that we tried. I am personally not happy visiting this place. Update on August 30th, 2025: I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. The curry was extremely spicy and practically impossible to eat. I believe this was intentional to discourage me from ordering again. My complaint with them has always been about the poor quality of their rice, but rather than fixing that, they appear more focused on silencing or discouraging customers. Their ratings have dropped recently, yet instead of improving food quality and service, they seem to be blaming customers. That is completely unprofessional. If they didn’t want me to order, they should have simply canceled my order rather than serving food that left me sick. My esophagus and stomach are burning, and it is unbearable. Who is responsible for this risk to my health? This is unacceptable, disgusting, and disappointing. The management should take responsibility and improve rather than mistreating customers. I will never order from them again, as they seem to wish.

It's more of a snack bar, with no music, not even quiet music. The main thing is that you can eat well there.

We ordered online but this review cant be made there so thats why it’s here. They misses part of our order and we called, and instead of delivering the rest of the order or giving a solution they just said that we were not going to get the rest. I ordered here several times, but this is obviously the last one.

Do not order via the website, first they say that I have to pick it up and then it will come to my home and I have to pay extra costs for home delivery and they can't do anything because that's how the system works, THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THEY CAN'T DO NL. They did solve it with extra costs and the food is delicious

I ordered food and my order got randomly cancelled after an hour of waiting. I even called them to verify about my order and they pretended like everything is OK. This is not how you treat customers. Shitty service

The food is incredible. We had vegan chicken and mushroom Curry that both were delicious (and a lot, big portions)! We had to wait a bit for the food, but not too long! The place is definitely underrated. Unfortunately there is only a really small choice of drinks, they only offer coke/fanta/ice tea. The staff was friendly but only spoke English.

Although you have to look past the atmosphere when you enter, we had a very tasty meal. You really get value for your money. For €38 we had a whole meal with two people, and there was even too much of everything. We had Tikkie Massala and Butter Chicken with rice and naan. First a papadum. Delicious food.

The food here is super delicious! Although I have never been to India myself, I can imagine that this comes close. The atmosphere is simple and it is not the most pleasant place to sit for a long time, but the friendly service and the quality of the food make up for that. Definitely worth it if you like Indian food.

I don’t know what was wrong at the restaurant last night, but we had terrible service. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, another 30 minutes for our starters (one of which was cold by the time it arrived), and then yet another 30 minutes for our mains dishes. We watched many, many delivery people come in and out while we waited for our food, so it seems this restaurant is much more focused on takeaway than serving the customers who want to eat in. The quality of the food was fine, but I’ve had much better curries from other Indian restaurants in the area. I will say that the mango lassi was delicious. I wasn’t impressed otherwise.

I come here often to enjoy the most delicious curry in Twente! It's very affordable for the tasty food you get and the service is amazing! If I were rich, I'd come here daily, genuinely. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested or curious of the Indian cuisine!

Indian Summer is an accessible and affordable place to eat. The food tastes good and the staff is friendly. A lot has changed in terms of interior design in the restaurant, which has also improved the atmosphere.

We regularly visit pizzerias in the region, but to trigger the taste buds we ate at Indian Summer in Enschede. The taste of the food is very close to the taste you know from Asian countries. The restaurant doesn't look cozy at all, a bit snack bar-like, but if you don't mind that, you can enjoy a delicious meal!

The food was very delicious, it was so much fun with my friends eating their food and enjoying it. I do recommend it for yemeni people cuz it’s close to our culture and flavors in food.

Indian Summer is a wonderfully accessible place with a warm, homely atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the food is of good quality. The staff is friendly. Perfect for a fun and affordable evening out.

Delicious food, but the containers have become smaller and smaller over the past year. There was some understanding, but now there has been another adjustment and the containers are smaller again. This gets very annoying. Shame. In principle, the price keeps getting higher.

I will never order from here again! Damn, what a microwave meal! I think rice dates back 10 years. And I can't even get started on the food! I just threw the food away! What a waste of my money! Never again..

The food is okay, tasty naan and papadums too. It is a somewhat bare place to eat and occasionally you feel like you are in the waiting room of Thuisbezorgd.nl. But for a tasty Indian bite without any fuss, it's fine.

Food was good and delicious. Spices just right, spicy and flavorful but not too spicy that you couldn't eat it. Just unfortunate that I'm not much into indian food myself but you could really see that it was quality food.

Lekker gegeten voor een zeer goede prijs. De restaurant is niet veel aangekleed, maar dat betaalt zich terug in ruim geserveerde voedsel, lekker voedsel, korte wachttijden en altijd plek!

The food was good - not the best I've had but pretty good. I particularly liked the Chicken Tikka and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Naan bread was also hot and tasty.

Since this place has opened, it was my favorite restaurant in Enschede. Our family was frequently visiting, but we won't anymore. The service got worse and worse in time. After waiting too long we left today, and noone even noticed that we were leaving. They care about takeout orders more than the customers inside the restaurant now.

We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived at 4pm. It was relatively empty while we were there. We ordered Butterchicken and naan. Both were very yummy. Would definitely recommend.

Altijd heerlijk gegeten bij Indian summer. Voor iemand die vegetarisch eet en een lactose intolerantie heeft, is er meer dan genoeg keuze! Zo veel zelfs, dat er soms keuzestress is, omdat alles ook gewoon fantastisch smaakt. Je moet bij sommige gerechten wel tegen spicy kunnen, maar kan je dit niet, dan moet je dit gewoon aangeven en maken ze hem iets minder pittig. Laatst bij een afhaalbestelling was er wat miscommunicatie onstaan, maar ze hebben dit mega professioneel opgelost, top! De eerste keer dat wij er kwamen, was omdat een ander restaurant vol zat, maar sindsdien laten we dat andere restaurant links liggen voor Indian Summer.

Echt geweldig eten! Ik kan niet heel goed tegen pittig eten, maar er waren genoeg opties waarbij je je tong niet verbrand. Prijs per hoofdgerecht lag rond de 16/17/18 euro.

Food was okish but strange as they were reluctant to provide dinner plates ( bigger plates) to us and we had to ask for it, were given side plates to eat. Never had this experience before. Also strange to see a political poster in the restaurant which to me is inappropriate

Heerlijk gegeten! Ontzettend smaakvol en meer dan genoeg. Doggybag meegekregen zelfs. Vriendelijke bediening en heel fijn dat ze gewoon karaffen met water op tafel zetten. Niet al te groot, dus zit snel vol.

We ordered lamb biriyani, dahi vada, lassi mango, lassi natural, and rasgulla. Although the biriyani tasted good, the amount of meat was very poor. The mango lassi was delicious. The dahi vada and rasgulla were not up to the mark. Pickle served with biriyani was horrible, too salty. Later, they compensated us with a complimentary cake.

Good Indian food to satiate the craving for spicy cuisine.

Visited this place last year with my Dutch family and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Honestly, we prefer less spicy food, and this place is just right for people like us. We tried the dishes recommended by chef (check Photos below for details) and all of us enjoyed it. Location- 5/5 • located in the city centre. Food - 4.5/5 • Absolutely loved it. Ambience - 3.5/5 • It is pleasant but has a little bit of western touch. Service -5/5 • Humble and friendly staff! They infact gave us an extra plate of dessert.
