Nice restaurant food is tasty but I have notice some points to improve 1st we had to wait for an hour for our dinner(nan came after we finished our rice) 2nd portion is a little small for its price 3rd so many food to choose from but its mostly same taste. 4th little expensive. but the good things are -mango lassi is really good -they are very hospitable -very nice people.

We ordered the onion bhajiya, where thin slices of onion were perfectly coated in a flavorful gram flour batter. They were crispy and irresistibly tasty. My daughter loved her mango lassi, and the food overall was truly outstanding, bursting with authentic Indian flavors that left our taste buds dancing with joy. Very hospitable and attractively decorated place. Fresh, beautifully flavored dishes. Only the ketchup with the papadum was a bit strange.

Heerlijk gegeten met de hele gezin. The staffs are very friendly and perfectly organized. The timing was perfectly coordinated. The food tasted great , The portions were right and good value for money, One of the best places for Indian food. Really authentic. Awesome service with a beautiful ambiance. Been there plenty of times and I am sure plenty more are still to come... I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr nett und sympathisch. Vegetarisches Curry mit Reis war super. Wieder zu empfehlen.

Taste is good, they customise your order as per Indian taste... I recommend them to put traditional music in stead Bollywood..

We hadden zin om Indiaas te eten. Mijn vriendin wist dit restaurant te vinden. Van de buitenkant zag het er gesloten uit. Dat was het gelukkig niet. Wij waren die avond de enige gasten. Het restaurant is daar sinds een half jaar. Ik had lamsvlees. Super mals in een medium hete curry. Mijn vriendin had dezelfde curry maar dan met groente. We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Echt een aanrader! De meneer die ons hielp was zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Echt heerlijk en authentiek Indiaas eten. Bovendien een prettige sfeeren ook al ziet dat er op het eerste gezicht niet zo uit. Een tien voor de bediening

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Extremely delicious, everything fresh of course. I can recommend the Chicken Gun Powder as starter an the Kourma as main. Also have a Mango Lassi which is just outrageously good.

The food was delicious, the staff was extremely professional and welcoming, me and my GF had a great time dining there. A great way to experience true Indian hospitality. Definitely worth visiting again.

I’ve never left a review before but I feel like I need to because I’m honestly really surprised this restaurant has been given a high rating. I’m part Indian and live in the UK and I’ve had far more authentic Indian food in the UK. The onion bhajis were not good, the breading that they use is doughy and not crispy at all- it even came with a packet of ketchup ??? The butter chicken was just okay, tasted mainly of oil and some spices, the chicken was a bit dry and in weird small cut up pieces. The naan bread was a bit better, can tell it’s homemade and the mango lassi was very good. For the price and the quality, it’s not worth it. Hopefully I can find good Indian food somewhere in the Netherlands, maybe in Amsterdam.

Kumar Venkat served us, he is really sweet person and made nice food. Authentic Indian food, especially Rasam n gulab jamun are damn good. Kuttu parata is good.

Absolutely amazing! 💙 I had the butter chicken masala (rice is included) with butter naan, and wonderful mango lassi so good that I had to take a second glass! Wonderful friendly staff, fresh authentic food with superb amount of spices, and heavenly tasting meals. This place deserves more attention! Perfectly located near the Waal so you can have a nice walk with a view of the Waalbrug. I will take my boyfriend with me next time I visit Nijmegen!

Incredibly authentic Indian food that takes you back home. Visited this place with my parents. Very thoughtful and hospitable manager at the restaurant. Would definitely visit again when in Nijmegen.

We had dinner at Indiawala restaurant today and we all loved it..We had onion bajjis as starters and it was so crunchy and tasty..Seeraga Samba Veg biriyani was a surprise and a change from usual basmati Biriyani..It was yumm..Be it ,Flaky nool paratha /lip smacking Mango lassi and authentic Masala tea every dish was outstanding…Service was warm as well and I would recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Indian food..Looking forward to visit the restaurant again..

I ordered Mutton Kothu parotta I would say it's the best one. I loved the atmosphere with Indian songs. Though the quantity was less the quality was good. I would have given 5 stars if the quantity is little bit more.

First time to visit this new Indian gem in Nijmegen. Friendly staff speaks mostly in English, restaurant can use some decorations. Food was really good, we (2 adults) ordered a cheese-naan and 3 vegetarian ‘gravy’ (or curry) which came with rice as well. As apetizer an onion birrja. Taste was very authentic (as far as we know), and full of aromas, even nicely spiced (pittig). 3 gravys had three types of taste, spinach, tomato and lentilles, and we could not decide which was the best! All tasted so good!

Service is good, the restaurant could use some more decoration, but the food is really good.

Terrible! No atmosphere, waiting staff serve in their winter coats, speak poor English. Menu without explanation and then those prices!?! 15 euros for 2 chicken drumsticks, naan bread dripping with fat, seems not fully cooked, pieces of chicken in the curry with hard pieces in it, my table companion had almost no chicken in his curry. Never had such a bad experience before.

We have visited this restaurant many times with family and friends. Delivering the same quality taste every time. They also exchange with love. I think it's both the treat and the consistency of taste that keep us going there again and again. And we get a sense of home.

Very friendly employees who are quick to help. They can understand Dutch but will speak English to you. We have chicken briyani and mutton briyani (meat). And garlic naan is delicious with the sauce they provide. Everything was abnormally delicious. The amount of food you get for that small price is ideal. Not much drink choice. We had mango lassi (yogurt with mango smoothie) and masala tea was very tasty. Definitely recommended. Worth a try.

Nice and clean restaurant. I had Egg Kothu Porotta, Nool Porotta and Chicken Chettinad. They were really tasty. And the service was really good. I hope they continue the quality and service. Would recommend this place.

Great food, everything was authentic and tasty. I ordered Rasam, Chicken pepper Soup, Pepper Prawns, Uttapam. They did not have Buttermilk on the menu but made it at my request (twice) and it was perfect and best!! Highly recommended for some authentic South Indian food.

Delicious food here. Chettinadu Chicken Curry was very flavourful. Lots of choice. The menu could use some more text and explanation for me. It would also be nice if, in addition to Amstel and Heineken, a beer from India was available. Then it's completely finished.

Food took a long time to arrive (over an hour for the mains), but some of the best tasting biryani I have ever had (I had the fried fish biryani). Hopefully the speed was just a temporary issue, because these folks can cook!
