Had a perfect lunch and the staff were friendly. I also think it's a super cozy restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal here on Friday evening. We only made a reservation for lunch; it was actually full, but we were still able to eat at the circular section of the bar, which was perfect. A good menu. Despite the crowds, the courses came out at a good pace. Presentation, taste, and portions were excellent. Friendly staff with personalized attention. We'd love to come back.

When the restaurant was still called Insolar, I was already impressed by the food, staff, and service. With the new name, Stoon, a good reason to revisit. We weren't disappointed, but even more surprised by the quality and presentation of the dishes, the excellent wines, the enthusiastic staff, and the beautiful decor. We had a delicious meal, felt welcome, and left very satisfied. A top-notch restaurant in Huizen, and it was pleasantly busy, so many people know that it's a pleasant place to be. All praise to Stoon and his enthusiastic team!

What a fantastic evening at Stoon! 😍 The food was so delicious that we even forgot to talk for a moment, and that's saying something. The stone grill was a feast for the eyes, and the menu was more tempting than a candy store. 🍖🔥 Something went wrong with our reservation (oops!), but it was resolved so well that we almost wanted to "mistake" it again on purpose. The communication was spot-on from the start, and the service was truly excellent, as if they could read our minds. In short: a delicious meal, lots of laughs, enjoyment... and a rolling ride home. We will definitely be back! 👏🍷

I once had lunch at what was then Insolar. And now, years later, I had dinner with my youngest daughter. What a great place! The concept is spot on, from the service and decor to the menu. You can tell the staff are experienced and understand hospitality. My daughter also works in a restaurant, and I occasionally work in other areas of hospitality, so we're critical, but this place is spot on. A cocktail beforehand was a delicious appetizer, and of course, a piece of red meat on the stone, followed by a cocktail. We (probably) won't be vegetarians again... Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

Price-quality ratio is completely lacking. Choosing two dishes for €32.50 seems like a good deal, but the appetizer was abysmal with 4 cubes of smoked salmon, some garnish, and a few drops of mayonnaise. Cabbage rendang with rice was truly a bit disappointing. We weren't offered a glass of (tap) water with the glasses of wine we ordered. That was a bad sign. Was there anything positive to be said? Yes, the sandwich was tasty. The wine was excellent. The service was also very friendly. When asked if we enjoyed it, we honestly answered the above. We were then offered a free drink. We didn't have time for that, but it was a kind gesture. The bill of €90 was truly outrageous for what we received.

The pulled chicken on naan bread was delicious, but for €14.50, I thought it was a bit small. That's a personal preference, of course. I'll try some other dishes in the near future and see how they go. It's definitely a nice place to sit for a while. So, I'd say...it's reasonably seasoned so far.

It is a nicely set up restaurant, staff is friendly and hospitable. The food is tasty, the special stoon dish is recommended. A hot stone where you can bake your own piece of meat. Nice and tasty experience this way.

I think the menu is a lot less than from the Insolar era Less choice for lunch, but whatever you order is good and very tasty.

The bread beforehand is tasty, but the fries are very dry and the stroopwafels of the stroopwafel dessert are as hard as a rock.

Extremely friendly staff, very understanding when things need to be done differently. 🙈 Later I spoke to the owners and only then did the puzzle pieces fall. What kindness and lovely men. You can taste it on your plate and it is worth every cent. ☀️🎉 Love it!

We ate and drank there several times. The atmosphere and service are very good. And as for the food, what is served is perfect. Keep it up. I therefore hope that the new name "Stoon" will uphold the name of Insolar.

Yesterday we went out with our parents-in-law. After looking at some restaurants on Google, I chose Insolar, and it was the right choice! Friendly and helpful staff and we all had a great meal.

During the eve of the Huizer day they had a cozy terrace with a 'beer truck' on the old town hall square. Nice atmosphere, nice drinks.

Viking steak is definitely recommended, Very friendly staff just really good.

Food good, draft beers should be colder. Bottles of beer are quite cold. Aperol Spritz may not be called Aperol Spritz even though the recipe is on the back of the bottle. Unfortunately, the Aperol is being cut back here, as is the case with many...

Tight set up, but probably better soon. They are said to have bought the building next door. Good cuisine, tasty dishes.

We were in Huizen for a few days and had already reserved this restaurant in advance because the menu was interesting. The waitress was very friendly. We ate the tenderloin tips with mushroom sauce and the boneless ribs, both excellent with more luxurious blanched vegetables. The homemade ice cream cake was also surprisingly delicious. Few places where you can eat this for this price. Too bad we don't live nearby 😉 The upper floor is more cozy, if you have difficulty walking, ask for a table downstairs. Compliments to the team.

We had a pleasant and delicious meal with 4 adults and 2 young kids. The six of us were allowed to sit upstairs, next to the children's kitchen. That was a great choice, kids enjoyed the pancakes and the adults a very nice menu with ice cream cake from the house for dessert.

Booked to try and that was worth some effort, not big and no noisy music. Nice people but they were so busy. Food was excellent, tasty, hot and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back! The only point of attention is the menu in plastic, it seems cheap to you and your dishes deserve a really nice menu.

Mooie locatie op de hoek in centrum van Huizen. Lekkere koffie met appelgebak, was dik in orde en de tostie was ook lekker. Vriendelijke bediening.

Super leuk woon al 40 jaar in de polder maar daar tot van kort niets over gehoord, maar zeer aan te raden vooral gezinnen kunnen daar goed toeven, maar oudere ook hoor gewoon een keer doen 👍👍🏡

Hel mooie locatie aan het plein in het centrum van Huizen. Goede lunch en dat alles onder een mooi nazomerzonnetje.

Eten goed maar de service waardeloos je moet gewoon een wijntje met glas water kunnen bestellen maar dan word er gezegd je kunt spa blauw of spa rood bestellen

Excellent and quick service! However, the lunch prices are outrageously high for what the options include. Paying 9 euros for a sandwich with a dry croquette... It's inedible. Overall, the experience was good, but the exorbitant prices for mediocre lunch choices left much to be desired. The service was prompt and efficient, yet the taste of the 9-euro sandwich with a dry kroket was disappointing, making it hard to enjoy. It's high time they reevaluate their pricing and improve the quality of their lunch offerings.

Lekker op het terras gezeten. Het was niet erg druk. Maar het was lastig om te kunnen bestellen. Uiteindelijk maar 1 drankje gedaan helaas.

Super meegedacht voor mijn dochter die absoluut glutenvrij moet eten. Ze had een heerlijke pannekoek en aardbeien met slagroom. Wij hebben ook heerlijk gegeten!

Top eten maar er was een serveerster die ons niet wilde helpen. We vermoeden dat dit komt omdat nederlands niet onze eerste taal is.

Zowel de lunch als het toetje waren heerlijk. Vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening.

Leuke eetgelegenheid. Tafeltje was alleen een beetje klein voor mij als grote kerel. Werden vlot geholpen door vriendelijk personeel. Alles ging eigenlijk vlot. Drinken, eten. Alles werd vlot en goed aan tafel gebracht. Tussendoor ook enige aandacht voor ons als gasten. Het eten was heerlijk voor een eerlijke prijs. Ik ga hier zeker nog eens dineren.

Met mooi weer buiten op t grote plein/terras geluncht. Prettige bediening en goed verzorgde lunch. Parkeren kan in de buurt, denk wel aan de parkeerschijf.

Snelle service, lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel. Soms alleen jammer dat je soms door een rookwalm heen loopt voor je binnenkomt omdat er voor de deur gerookt mag worden.

Een sfeervolle inrichting. Redelijk vriendelijk personeel. Prijs kwaliteit volledig uit verband gerukt, ik zou 2 zulke kleine sneetjes brood niet durven serveren, de tonijnsalade is níet op smaak gebracht. Een paar kappertjes erop is geen bereiding. Alsof het uitgeperste blik tonijn is met een theelepel goedkope mayonaise. Jammer.

Elke donderdagavond zitten wij aan ons 'eigen tafeltje' te genieten van de sfeer en het lekkere eten. Je voelt je er thuis. Willem eet er graag vis en ik was een superfan van de pulled chicken die helaas niet meer op de kaart staat. Het was dan ook een leuke verrassing dat dit gerecht vorige week de 'weekspecial' was, dank je wel Don! Een voordeel is wel dat ik nu ontdekt heb dat er nog meer smakelijke gerechten op de kaart staan. Sten en Don hebben een leuk en enthousiast team bij elkaar weten te krijgen, Met een goede keuken en een prima Pinot Grigio (de Irish Coffee met een likeurtje natuurlijk niet vergeten) is het plaatje compleet wat zich zeker uit in een vaste klantenkring en is het een fijne plek waar iedereen zich welkom voelt.
