We had to wait quite a while for our dishes, which sometimes only arrived halfway through. The food wasn't particularly hot, but it was nicely presented. The lighting and music were a bit lacking in ambiance.

We had another delicious meal. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly, attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

Of course, comparing apples and oranges is difficult, and there's always room for improvement. However, the food was excellent, and most of the waitresses were professional, friendly, and courteous. It was pleasantly warm, allowing us to fully focus on the company and the food. We opted for the small dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. As a dessert lover, I only found the Dame Blanche a bit underwhelming!

The four of us had a wonderful meal. Our guests were also very impressed with the restaurant and the service, and especially with the fish platter we all chose.

We received a very warm welcome and were helped with everything; we always feel welcome here. The food, "not entirely unimportant," was also simply excellent. Keep up the good work, everyone!

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food

It was our 60th wedding anniversary. A day we didn't think we'd reach two years ago because I was battling two types of cancer. So we were already in a celebratory mood. Vie didn't disrupt that. No music, attentive service, comfortable chairs. The concept appealed to us, the food was delicious. Only, my wife had expected a touch of acidity in the white wine sauce with the catfish. And while we're on the subject of nitpicking, I think it's Le fromage. So the goat cheese brûlée is spelled with an e. I don't know if this question will be asked later, but I would definitely recommend Vie to friends and acquaintances. Another compliment. We ordered the Muscadet as a digestif because the Montbazillac wasn't available. We were once at that château. I was touched that they searched the cellar to find the bottle.

We had already booked a table for two at the beginning of the week. When we arrived at the agreed-upon time, we were offered a table for three near the entrance and exit of the restaurant. We declined, as it would be best for people without a reservation! Fortunately, we were subsequently offered a table for two. It seems logical to me that those who reserve well in advance are offered a "nice" table anyway!

We opted for the "unlimited enjoyment" menu with a selection of plenty of small vegetarian, meat, fish, or other dishes, plus a dessert. Each dish was delicious and a feast for the eyes. Enjoy a leisurely meal in the restaurant or on the lovely terrace! Highly recommended!

After the opening on Kerkstraat, we've had lunch there a few times and were completely satisfied. But the last time, it was chaotic. The staff didn't communicate with each other. We had to ask for the lunch menu, but the order was wrong. One person received the same order twice. Tea wasn't served; I had to ask for it. I asked for nice, coarse bread with my order, but I got two brown, soft sandwiches. It wasn't busy, but we had to wait a long time for our lunch to arrive. People sitting next to us didn't get their orders at the same time; they whispered that they wouldn't be returning to Vie. I'm not saying we'll never go back, but not for a while. The staff was friendly.

Tonight I had the hamburger with a friend. The food was delicious and the service was great and very friendly. We sat outside on the terrace in the shade. Nice fish salad, but the mackerel was a bit too dominant. Brie sandwich and Salmon Club Sandwich were fine. Blueberry muffin, apple pie sundae were good, but a strawberry tiramisu without strawberries was a bit strange.

We had a small dishes menu for 2 people. It was tastefully served and we were asked in time about our next dish. Two points of interest. The tenderloin was overcooked and the cheese board was pathetic. Two pieces of old cheese (seemed like the last pieces) and two pieces of the same soft cheese. A bit roughly cut. That was a shame. Friendly staff.

Vie Food & Drinks in Huizen is highly recommended! The concept of unlimited enjoyment is great: you always order small, surprising dishes that are prepared with care. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly and helpful. The toilets were unfortunately difficult to find, but remarkably clean and well maintained. This shows that hygiene is taken seriously here. A small minus, but certainly no reason not to come back. Delicious food, great service and a pleasant evening guaranteed!

Today after a day in Naarden/Bussum we unexpectedly ended up at Vie. Sit down completely without expectations and let this super fun concept happen to us. The enthusiastic team of young people who were still willing and able to give you personal attention in a busy business can still learn a thing or two from them. The surprising and delicious dishes where really delicious! This was the crowning glory of a wonderful day out for us! Team Vie: thank you for your service!

The food was better than expected. Vie has an all-inclusive formula, but they do it much better than what you can generally expect from that formula. They serve small dishes of excellent quality, there is a wide choice of meat, fish and vegetarian and it is not your average all-inclusive food, but all freshly made and very tasty. The service is extremely friendly, it is a young and enthusiastic team.
