We hebben heerlijk authentiek Grieks gegeten in dit restaurant. We hadden alle vier een stoofschotel en waren allemaal blij verrast. De stifado was zo vers met zoals het hoort kleine sjalotjes en verse kruiden, de moussaka de lekkerste ooit in Nederland gegeten en de stoofschotel met feta was ook zalig. Daarnaast mooie flessen wijn op de kaart en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Kortom wij bevelen dit restaurant alle vier van harte aan.

Tuve una salida de Irodion cuando me alojaba en Den Haag para unas pequeñas vacaciones. La comida es increíble, realmente delicioso. El tzatziki es uno de los mejores que he probado. El personal es muy amable. Me atendió una señora griega, que era muy agradable, hablaba griego a veces a sus colegas, lo que me dio la sensación de que estaba en Grecia durante solo unos minutos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Usted puede comer en, así como llevar.

The best gyros available in the Netherlands. The quality has never deteriorated. It's also nice to see that the same people have been working here for years.

My go to place to get my pita gyros takeaway. You pay €8,50 but let me tell you- this thing is a whole meal. Stuffed to the brim and incredibly delicious. The service is really good and friendly as well and the food is prepared super fast. Great experience all around every time and a definite recommendation.

Literally the fastest I've ever gotten my food. We hadn't even sat down yet. Also I love just paying at the bar in advance, no needing to get the attention of the staff, pure efficiency. And still the vibe is nice and not fastfood-like. Watching people walk by from the window is also good fun. And of course the food is also good and affordable for the location!!

A delicious Greek restaurant in The Hague on the Grote Markt! I've been coming here since I was little and I still visit regularly when I'm in The Hague. They have several dishes on the menu, but I always take a pita gyros. Fast, easy and always good! Definitely recommended!

We had a gyros pita, salad and fries for dinner and despite the simplicity it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, everything is delicious and you can tell that it is made with love. The service was very fast and everyone involved was very nice (they even gave us tips for a perfect tzatziki recipe!!!). I would return a thousand times more.

Delicious food! Good dishes, but large portions. Great service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended after a day in The Hague.

Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Preis-Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Das Servieren ist einfach gehalten. Relativ laut im Restaurant. Insgesamt zufrieden.

The pitas are well filled and now cost 8 euros. The salads are delicious and the tzaziki is very tasty.

I ate a mix grill. Unfortunately, I've never eaten worse. The meat wasn't seasoned at all and didn't taste like anything. Even a lot of ketchup didn't help. It's a shame, it looked very tasty. Unfortunately the portion wasn't very big either. For €16 you can expect more quality.

For its price range, the food is amazing. I’ve never had any issues with service (sometimes it takes a little longer than expected) and the atmosphere is always welcoming. One of my favorite places to dine with friends in Den Haag.

It is always nice to stay there, but especially now with all the lights in the trees of the Grote Markt.

It’s a Greek restaurant that you love the taste of the food. You cannot order your food from the table but they bring your order to the table :) It’s unfamiliar thing for me. Pitapgyross is my favourite :)

Wie immer - bei jedem Besuch im Restaurant im Obergeschoss, bekommen wir das, was wir lieben; gute griechische Gerichte. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und es ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Why is this place always closed? On normal weekdays. Bizarre. They used to be in a different building and it was a great restaurant.

We celebrated my friends birthday here. I loved the fried feta with honey. The main dishes were good too. Upstairs is a cozy restaurant. Downstairs is handy for a quick snack.

Went here for the first time today with colleagues. I had the chicken souflaki. This was very tasty, just the right portion. I will definitely come here more often. Of all the Greek restaurants I've been to, this was definitely one of the tastiest

If you want a fresh taste from Greece between olive trees …….. Excellent fresh salads & tasty meat choices as a sandwich with traditional pita or as portions!!! Burger or bifteki in Greek is the star among meat !!! Dolmadakia was excellent and baklava as a dessert amazing!!! Don’t miss it

Great place for a fast bite. Choose what you want at the counter, they make it for you and 10 minutes later bring it to your table. Good food at a reasonable price and no-nonsense service. It's like fast food, Mediterranean style!

Unfriendly service, self-service and only 1 olive, no peppers, just tomato, cucumber and sheep's cheese on the Greek salad

Food was tasty. But very expensive. A bowl of farmer's salad with tomato/cucumber and feta 6 euros!!!

I was born in Den Haag and used to walk by this place plenty of times as a kid, I had no idea what it was. Fast forward I moved to the USA 28 years ago and I was visiting. I was amazed this place was still here! Me and my friend sat down and had some gyros, OMG it's delicious, the best gyro I ever had! It's like a day and night difference between the ones from here and the ones in the USA. The food came super fast and service was good! Highly recommended!

I must honestly admit that it is getting worse... the portions are getting smaller every year. We are always happy to visit this restaurant, but a few days ago I was very disappointed. And next time I will think twice before going there... Sad but true.

Had a delicious mixed grill here. It was wonderfully lean and not greasy! Meat well cooked. Not too dry either. And everything tasted delicious! Operation correct and neat!

Ate here for the first time yesterday, it was super busy but worth the wait. The food was super tasty and the pita sandwiches are highly recommended. We ordered the chicken gyros dish and the price was good. Large portion for 12.50 euros. To be repeated. I will come here more often!

Very good greek food. The lamb shank is a must try! Really tender and flavourful, was really amazed of the food here. The service was also fast and friendly. Restaurant is decorated in a greek way. I would definitely come back for the lamb.

Wij halen hier meestal een broodje Gyros wanneer we geshopt hebben in de stad. Altijd goed en lekker. Heel lang geleden regelmatig in het oude restaurant gegeten, was altijd top. Nu met onze kleinzoon boven gaan eten. Hele vriendelijke dames in de bediening, we aten mix grill, gyrosschtel en biftekischotel. Lekkere biertjes erbij, Heerlijk. Alleen € 7,50 voor een fles water is wel heel duur.

We usually get a Gyros sandwich here when we have been shopping in the city. Always good and tasty. We ate regularly in the old restaurant a long time ago and it was always great. Now going upstairs to eat with our grandson. Very friendly ladies in the service, we ate mix grill, gyrosschtel and bifteki dish. Nice beers, delicious. Only €7.50 for a bottle of water is very expensive.

The pita kipgyros is my favorite—always freshly prepared and filling. Just perfect for a quick lunch as their service is always very fast!

Tastiest Greek in The Hague! The pita in particular are wonderfully soft and tasty. Fresh vegetables in it and prepared in front of you. Order an extra bowl of tzatziki, there is never enough (as far as I'm concerned) :)

Delicious gyros, but they have become very expensive and the portions are no longer sufficient... Still hungry after 1 pita gyros... Blah blah inflation, new location or whatever... But this is at the expense of your customers who have been coming to this restaurant for decades for the best gyros. Oh yes, home delivery can also be introduced.... Apart from these points, only love for the employees who have also been working there for years <3

Come here regularly, actually always downstairs. Friendly service and good, tasty food! I order the baklava every time, and then with a cup of fresh mint tea, so delicious!!!

After a tour of Chinatown, I regularly eat a gyros sandwich for lunch. I find the same high quality every time. Always the same friendly, fast service at the cash register, the dishes look delicious. Fast service at the table which is cleaned for you. The toilet behind the stairs is clean. I love coming here and can't wait to try other delicious things. Excellent value for money ratio.

I used to visit this restaurant every time i visit the hague Yesterday was not good experience as it used to be, and i mean the food quality, we ordered salmon and shrimps Both was not tasty at all, the portion was smaller than before

Regarding the lower part: A nice entrance with the bar on the right where you can place your order. Your food is prepared in front of you. Plenty of room for everyone on the left side. The consistency of the quality of the food here is top notch. I've never been disappointed here and the price is even low for what you get. Fantastic place to eat your lunch or evening meal or pick it up for home. Don't worry about the queue, because the food is made very quickly and certainly not at the expense of quality. Highly recommended and definitely give it a try!

Very tasty meal. Also a cozy restaurant inside in a nice location. The service was very friendly, but the dishes arrived on the table very quickly, so that we felt as if we had to leave quickly.

As a Greek, this is a very mid place. The food was ok but not authentically greek, the pita was more like indian naan for example and the amount of tzatziki they offer with your meal is a joke. But the meat was relatively good and the people working here are very friendly

Don't recommend going there, they have hidden fees and looks like the prices were without tax which I don't think is legal in NL. Nevertheless food is not worth it.

OK Greek food, but just not the same as in Greece. Small portions. There is a first storey for the restaurant and a ground floor for more casual dining and takeaway. Prices on the ground floor are cheaper and the menu is slightly different. This needs to be made clearer for guests. Service is fast and friendly. Food was salty for my taste. Dessert options are very limited.

Went here with my husband and son for lunch a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant upstairs is only open for dinner, so we ate in the cafe on the ground floor. The gyros were as fresh as could be; cut right off the spit. Dolmathes were OK; I am biased though because my Yia Yia made the best! I wish we could have gone here for dinner! Next time!

Pleasant ambience. Delicious Greek food with grilled vegetables and fresh feta and olives in the salad. Clay and onion that also makes a difference. Smooth service and lots of people. Difficult acoustics upstairs So still good. Was definitely more than 5 years ago.

Today 16-02-2024 birthday outing. Delicious food again

We had a Mixed grill and Samos dish upstairs in the restaurant. The meat from the Mixed grill was better than expected, very tender. Calamaris was also very nicely seasoned and breaded. Next time I would like to try the pita gyros downstairs. That looked very good too.
