Delicious pizza salami and Turkish pizza

Recently ordered a Turkish pizza and a large shawarma with Turkish bread. Everything was excellent and hot. However, I ordered the same thing today, and the Turkish pizza wasn't very warm, and the Turkish bread was much smaller than last time. The taste was good, but we'll go somewhere else next time.

The guy was friendly. But the meat was a bit too bland and dry for my liking. But I think probably that’s because I bought it late at night. So can’t really complain since I was hungry.

A lot of food for your money. Small portions, which wasn't what we saw on the menu. We couldn't finish it all.

Our regular takeaway place was unfortunately closed, so we tried Istanbul once... the food was "ok", but €48 for three kapsalons?😅

The food tastes good, but it's quite pricey compared to similar restaurants. Where you normally pay around €10 for a large kapsalon, it suddenly costs €16 here. The staff also seems a bit unfriendly and doesn't even ask if I want to eat it there (which was actually my intention) or if I want to take it home. Instead, it was given to me already wrapped. It turns out they didn't even provide a fork or napkins, so I had to buy disposable cutlery before eating it in a park. The food itself tasted good, but for this price, I really expect more service, in the form of friendlier staff and a fork and napkins with a pickup order. I think the chances of me returning are very slim.

Actually not worth a single star!! Horrible food, never order here again. My 45 euro order went straight in the trash! What a shame.

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd, got a delivery time of 40 minutes. After waiting for over an hour I called - then was told it would take another 40 minutes. I then cancelled by phone. Still, the order was marked as 'delivered' at 00:46, while I was still on the phone with the restaurant at 01:27 and have proof that nothing had been delivered at that time. The restaurant now refuses to refund and lies about delivery. They take no responsibility. Very bad experience and unreliable service. Absolutely not recommended.

Important warning: After eating food from this restaurant, I and three other persons became seriously ill. We had severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. It was serious food poisoning and we needed medical attention. The food from this restaurant is clearly contaminated and unsafe. For your own health and that of others: please do not go there to get food and warn others.

We were looking forward to an evening with a nice hair salon. When we received our order we thought it was a wrong delivery and that we had received chicken pieces for the whole family, but it actually contained a hair salon which didn't taste like anything. 2 stars for the improvisation. If the containers have run out, it may be more convenient to temporarily remove the dish from the supply or order it again in time. It was impossible to eat. I have never paid so much for 2 hair salons and 2 ayran, €42.80 for something that should be at most half the price. Scandalous. Such a simple dish can best be prepared with quality.

Craziest scam I've ever seen, even at 4am. I'm not sending this for myself but for a friend. Mixed dish (see photo) was nothing more than a small aluminum container with minced meat and fries. The rest was also overpriced. Scandalous.

I am always happy when I order or pick up something from Istanbul. I regularly order a hair salon after playing billiards (around 2 o'clock in the morning). Istanbul is (often) still open around this time and they deliver very quickly. Especially if you keep in mind that it is one of the few open eateries around this time and therefore they probably have even more orders. The staff is always very friendly, both for takeaway and delivery. I have even stood in front of a closed door a few times, but even then the staff is more than happy to help (if the order is not too crazy at that time, of course). Then the food: Personally, I always think the food in Istanbul is great. I often order a kapsalon (döner or shawarma)/Turkish pizza (döner)/shawarma sandwich/chicken bucket. Errors in an order sometimes occur, but for me they are always resolved very neatly. I also regularly order something extra, for example a Turkish pizza to take to work 2 days later and that is still very tasty, in the microwave or even cold. Sauces come separately, but I really like that. Gentlemen of Istanbul, thank you very much! Keep it up!

Ordered a healthy sandwich, price €4.50. a little lettuce, 2 pieces of tomato and only 2 pieces of cucumber. Not even an egg in it. Too bad, could have been better.

Ordered again last time and it was dramatic. First we get someone on the phone who did not speak Dutch or English. Then a "customer" in the business had to pick up the phone. We asked if our hair salons were on their way (this took more than 1.5 hours), the employee told the customer who spoke to us again that it had already been on its way for 10 minutes. We wait with good hope and it turns out to take another 25 minutes. Once on location, the gentleman was too ill to get out. Through a phone call I knew that it was on the road, I was handed the food outside by a 6 year old boy???????? We were finally happy that the food was there, but unfortunately for us the hair salons were no longer warm.... ordered here often but now never again! (I had a 5 star review here but they are no longer worth it!)

Turkish pizza with garlic sauce, is the sauce delivered separately? Who DOESN'T serve a Turkish pizza with garlic in the pizza?? Order much too late, it would have been on its way in 20 minutes when I called... (walking distance 10 minutes)

Food wasn't that good. There were 5 of us here, and we all sat at the bar during the night and the next day. We will never come here again.

Not even worth 1 star, I went to the hair salon twice, after 1 bite of clearly indicated chicken it smelled and was impossible to eat, but I still paid the full price while the employee addressed me with 'it wasn't tasty, was it?' Worst food shop!!!

I ordered shawarma, had to wait a while, but the food was hot, delicious garlic sauce, nice cheerful delivery. And the shawarma was delicious, as were the fries. Nice those 2 free cokes. We will order again next time. 🤓

Vanavond sinds lange tijd shoarma gehaald. Bij istanboel in heemskerk. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, goed georganiseerd en schoon. De shoarma ( lam en doner kip) heeft ons verrast. Erg smaakvol en goede kwaliteit. Een aanrader !

Ik heb lang niet zo een lekkere Turkse pizza met vlees op. De service was helemaal top en het eten was meer dan prima!

Het was ontzettend snel bezorgd en ook erg lekker! Ik ga hier zeker vaker bestellen.

Al een paar keer daar gegeten en was super, de patat was zo lekker! En je hebt waar voor je geld.

Elke keer dat we er eten halen is het personeel heel druk bezig maar wel zeer vriendelijk. Het eten is heel.lekker en steeds voor herhaling vatbaar.

Hier een keer eerder besteld, toen was het prima. De tweede keer heel de bestelling niet gekregen. Heel raar. Wel een bevestiging gekregen in de mail, maar na ruim 2,5 uur wachten nog geen bezorger te bekennen. Helaas zal ik hier niet meer bestellen want mijn geld is weggegooid nu
