Italiaans Restaurant Minerva in Wijk 00 Centrum

My visit to the Minerva restaurant in Roermond was unfortunately disappointing. The service was truly poor: the waiters seemed very rude and, at times, embarrassing. Furthermore, it took over 45 minutes for the pizza and drinks to arrive, and the food wasn't as spicy as one would have expected. Overall, the experience was unfortunately unsatisfactory. Furthermore, the whole thing was quite expensive, which unfortunately made the overall experience even more disappointing. On the positive side, however, the ambiance was truly lovely, and you can sit on the promenade.

For the sake of the view, we sat down at this restaurant, but the price-quality ratio is very poor. Not worth it! 🍕❣️

Well... I can only say one thing. DO NOT SIT DOWN. It's unworthy of Roerkade. Easily number one as the unfriendliest and rudest service (an elderly "lady"). We left and will never return. I won't leave a cent here. Shame on you for your inhospitable behavior.

Two artichokes, a few mushrooms, and a bit of ham. The pizza wasn't worth the €20.

The thing is, you have to give a star to leave a review, because they don't even deserve that. Unfriendly staff. You could even call them aggressive. Don't go here! Unless you want to be yelled at by the owner and have a chair pushed towards you.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the food at all. If we had read the reviews sooner, we wouldn't have gone. The food arrived quickly, but it was cold and flavorless. The pizza felt like it had barely been in the oven and was completely dry. The pasta we ordered had no flavor and was cold. The price-performance ratio is not good at all. What a shame, because the location is great.

Not recommended. You can get delicious frozen food from the supermarket for €3. The ambiance and service were okay, but they can't make up for the poor food.

the worst from the worst I think it's better to eat a kebab in a street stall than here, I ordered a fritto misto I received some calamari thrown on a plate with 2 lettuce leaves and 3 shrimp no salt , no pepper , no sauce nothing... I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes it's a joke for that price the worst I don't recommend it's a joke

That was the worst rip-off I've ever experienced. Tourist scam with frozen pizza for 20 euros. I've honestly never been so shocked when food was served to me. But my jaw nearly dropped. A tuna pizza for almost 20 euros and a Margherita for almost 15 euros. I seriously suspect it was frozen food. Never again!

Not recommended! The pizza is so tasteless and overpriced. I've never had such a bad pizza in a restaurant. It was like a cheap frozen pizza. The other dishes were also disappointing. The price was far too high overall. It's a shame we didn't check the reviews here beforehand. The service was okay.

The cocktails were excellent, we sat on the terrace in the sun. But the food, pizza was reasonable but the pasta little and without taste. Really not worth the high price! Now we understand why it wasn't busy while all the terraces were full.

I want to be honest on the review, all went well was a beautiful day and among the restaurants on the street they are the one have free seating area outside. We ordered pizza and pasta. The pasta supposed to w/ veal was served with us was raw so i asked politely and show that the meat raw, then they said they will change it new so we waited, then when the food arrived it was the same set of pasta and they just cooked up the meat, that was really unacceptable and the server apologized and she mentioned that the chef just did like that, we waited for nothing and we didn’t pay for it, then we were given as complimentary drink waitresses are very good and thanks to them atleast we a bit understanding their situation as well. I dont know whoever the chef this is or this one who owns this restaurant “shame on the management” the staff still polite and did their jobs. Im not usually giving negative reviews and this is my first time to do it and that should be done. I would not recommend this restaurant and no wonder when i look on their reviews was all bad.

Simple Italian restaurant on the quay in Roermond. I had two simple dishes: carpaccio and spaghetti aglio olio. Both were exactly as they should be. That is, as they would be served in Italy. Excellent indeed.

STAY AWAY HERE TOURIST TRAP They take advantage of the beautiful location and try to get as much money out of their wallet as quickly as possible. After all, they don't care if you never come back, thousands of new people come there every day to cheat.

I ate there with my girlfriend, and what terrible Italian food! The menu was so limited and expensive for what you get! The waitress didn't speak a word of Dutch or English, so she couldn't understand anything we said. The salmon and shrimp pasta had two shrimp in it! Definitely the last time for us!

Shame, shame and shame again, ordering tenderloin for 36 euros, I get a tough piece of steak that doesn't even reach 100 grams... it should be illegal to lift customers like that, never experienced that before... so in one word, stay away

The food was cold and had absolutely no seasoning. This was definitely my first and last time at this restaurant.

We had hoped for tasty Italian dishes. The prices were very high, so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, everything was disappointing. Our pasta with salmon and shrimp was watery and there was only a tiny piece of salmon. See photos; and that for 23.95!!! Bizarre. Pasta with veal was little and tasteless. Meat was tough. Pizza was not tasty.. Too bad… and that for those expensive prices.

Menu with little choice, extremely high prices, unfriendly service. After checking out the food from the other guests, we quickly left. If you had read the reviews beforehand, you could have given it as a gift straight away.

I cannot agree with the reviews of my predecessors. We ate very well. I had delicious penne with scampi, my husband had a pizza. The beer was relatively cheap at €5 for 0.5l. The service was nice and attentive. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the portion of noodles was a bit small for the price.

Worst restaurant experience and expensive too! Pizza was not cooked properly, few ingredients, portion of pasta salmon too small with little salmon and watery, pasta of the day with 15 pieces of small mussels without taste and a lot of water in the board; I really don't understand why such a bad and expensive restaurant doesn't go bankrupt, but apparently people in the Netherlands are very content and visitors just fall for it because they don't read the reviews on the internet in advance!

Plus jamais aucun goût pâtes sèches et refus catéguorique de nous servir une sauce en supplément car pas à la carte même si nous proposions de payer ce supplément! en bref sans gout inmangeable serveuse ok mais la patronne d une arogance pfff à déconseiller trop cher pour des pâtes à l eau!!!!!!!!!!

Slechtste ervaring met een Italiaanse restaurant, eten trekt op niks , smakeloos, kleine porties en duur ! Ik snap echt niet dat zo'n restaurant nog open kan blijven met wat ze aan mensen serveren !?!?

Pasta zonder smaak, nog nooit zo slecht gegeten en dan nog veel te duur ook, geen supplement mogelijk, een keer en nooit meer.

vongole pasta dries without taste so I ask for tomato sauce in addition which I was refused because the à la carte vongole pasta is without sauce although I was ready to pay the extra for a sauce because without it it is inedible too dry for 32eu l plate is theft and moreover categorical refusal for any additional order because it is not à la carte!!! never again in my life😳

Truly delicious food! And it was surprisingly delicious! We had the tenderloin, perfectly saignant, baked with the gorgonzola sauce... the taste buds were spoiled! Portion was reasonable, could have been larger in my opinion, the spaghetti was also very tasty. We will definitely come back here again!

Really badly ripped off! If you prefer unseasoned food, watery pasta instead of cream sauce and only want to taste the yeast in a pizza and less of the bland toppings, this is the right place for you. When you get the bill, you finally experience your blue wonder and ask yourself where the 5 stars have gone. This ingredient cobbler should close its doors today rather than tomorrow! Hats off to such audacity. It's a shame we fell for it.

Be surprised by the chef for real Italian dishes from Puglia. These dishes are not on the menu!

Nice meal. Pizza calzone was richly topped! Service friendly, the atmosphere/decoration could be more Italian. But the taste was good and that's what matters!

Restaurant in dem man übersichtliche Portionen erhält die vom Preis her nicht gerechtfertigt sind. Das Essen ist ok, muss ich aber nicht nochmal haben, für den Preis. Zudem ist die Auswahl der Karte überschaubar. Das einzige Plus ist die Aussicht und das die Wartezeit sehr gering ist.

Over de minder vriendelijke en iets wat geïmproviseerde bediening. Waarschijnlijk door gebrek personeel zoals overal in de horeca ga ik niet doorstammen. De kaart zag er beperkt uit dus hadden we wel wat hogere verwachtingen. Pure, niet stereotype Italiaanse keuken. Helaas teleurgesteld. Ik kreeg penne met een blik gepelde tomaten bestrooid met wat rucola en 6 scampi. Pasta in de look was spaghetti met pikante olijfolie, de tagliatelle zalm bleek zo goed als geen zalm te bevatten en 6 ongekuiste scampi(schaal staart en meer) met een flauwe roomsaus. Gelukkig was de pizza Margherita ok van smaak. Begrijp dat je ''braaf'' wil zijn maar dit restaurant ontbreekt ziel op het bord. Als je kaart zo beknopt is zorg dan wat je serveert het tegenovergestelde weergeeft. Zeer prijzig voor wat het is. Kleine porties dus je neemt een dessert ..slim gezien 😉rekening viel hoog uit.

Wir waren mit Freunden am Samstag Abend dort und können nur Gutes berichten. Sehr leckeres Essen,guter Service ,die Chefin ist immer bemüht alles Recht zu machen.Wir kommen wieder.

Kwaliteit en prestatie niet in balans. Pizza ontbreekt het aan enige Italiaans finesse en karakter. Drankjes zijn veel te duur. Ook discussie met klanten tussen klanten draagt niet bij aan sfeervol genieten.

Tomate Mozzarella Salat war sehr lecker. Die Thunfischpizza war leider nur mittig belegt, was nicht so toll war, da sie dadurch eher wie Pizzateig mit Tomatensoße geschmeckt hat, ausser in der Mitte. Die Kellnerin war nett.

Teure Nudel und Pizzen Andere Restaurants deutlich günstiger,und mehr Auswahl

Unfortunately not good service. Expensive for that given quality. Service missed to ask for new drinks or anything else and was not si friendly... Pizza was quite usual for that price. Thats a pitty... Better to save money and go somewhere else ..

Prijs kwaliteit matig. Dure wijn! Geen lasagna, geen spaghetti bolognose. Eerst het menu bekijken! Bediening jong maar vriendelijk. Grote brokken groenten in de calzone, heel apart...

Hat geschmeckt, aber die Hälfte vom Preis hätte es auch getan. 🙈 Mitten an der Straße essen ist auch nicht so geil, auch wenn die Aussicht gut ist.

2 Sterne nur für das Personal. Preis-Leistung geht absolut nicht klar. Portionen zu klein und einfach nicht lecker. Ein zweiter Besuch kommt leider nicht mehr zustande.

Bardzo dobra pizza, prawdziwie włoska, przemiła obsługa, weekendami pani kelner z polski. Ceny umiarkowane a tym wszystkim którzy marudzą, że trzeba czekać polecam MacDonalda. Jedyny minus to niepokrojona pizza. Na pewno wrócę.

Carpattio was ok, maar de pasta zalm/ garnalen met room was saai en onvoldoende op smaak. Bediening vriendelijk, maar chaotisch.

Bediening is goed, de keuze in wijn bestaat is summier één witte chardonnay (rood weet ik niet). Het eten en de opmaak van het bord is minimaal. Wij aten oa een bief, er werd niet gevraagd hoe we die gebakken wilde hebben. Prijs prestatie vond ik niet in verhouding. Ook het dessert had dezelfde kenmerken, slordig opgemaakt. Wij zoeken volgende keer even verder.
