Itoshii in De Zijde / Duivenvoorde / Park Veursehout

I chose Itoshi Tokyo because I wanted to eat somewhere that was nutritious, not just filling. The food certainly tasted good, no complaints there. But unfortunately, after five minutes, I had a stomach ache, which isn't exactly what you expect after a meal. It's a shame, because the flavors were good, but my stomach had other ideas.

A very pleasant surprise! A cute corner with actually good food and nice staff. We ordered some chicken noodles and curry, and they were great. The chicken was crispy, tasty broth and a lot of veggies. Just found it weird that they use plastic plates like it’s takeout, for very hot foods it will transfer microplastics to the food.

Six of us ate here last weekend. Everyone tried something different and loved it. I had the cha siew noodles with tantan broth, and I would definitely recommend it. The chicken and beef noodles were also delicious. It's not very big inside, but it's a food court, so it has to be that way. They could use a cloth here and there, though, because it was quite dusty, especially when you're eating and looking up; you don't want to see dust flying. I hope they address this, and who knows, we might be back soon.

While there's still room for improvement in the appearance and decor, the food and service were excellent! Delicious sushi.

Spicy Tuna Maki with buttery-soft tuna and a deliciously spicy kick. The Torikatsudon was delivered steaming hot and in a generous portion. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the curry was just how I like it. Definitely worth repeating!

Ramen is great. Unfortunately served in a plastic bowl that might leach Phthalates into your hot soup.

I always take sushi home from here. They are packed in a cardboard box. When I got home I saw there was only 1 portion of unagi and I paid for 2. I called, because I live in The Hague, and received an answer that next time I can get the unagi that was not added with the receipt, I hope they will do it too. Tip for anyone who brings sushi, always check on the spot whether everything is correct. Update: came back in a few days and got my sushi + extra portion as a gift.

Super tasty food. Friendly staff too

The sushi was okay, but certainly not special. Very unfortunate: at a quarter past seven we are told (just after we have ordered on the screen) that we can only sit at the bar 'because they close at 8'. This is a food bar in a shopping center, not a restaurant that needs a lot of cleaning. After a whole day of walking, we really want to sit on a chair and say that we will be quick and will certainly continue on time, but no. So we sit on a wooden stool at a dirty bar with shoppers walking around us. We have finished eating at 7.35 pm... also be careful, they add a spicy white sauce to most things as a decoration without asking.

After 1.5 hours still nothing received. Had to call several times. Employee on the phone was rude and uncouth. Could not indicate when the food would possibly be delivered. Later called back by the restaurant and was immediately accused of having acted rudely. I will never order from here again.

Food was amazing, staff super kind and a great atmosphere. Its a shame it only has a 3.8 rating.

We just left after the lady behind the counter tried her hardest to ignore us. Now that I read the rest of the reviews, maybe it's for the best!

Picked up 2 sushi sets, among other things. Sushi was tasteless and rice was very soggy. Unfortunately we only found out after we had already left. Otherwise the food would be returned straight away. It also took a very long time before the order was ready. Certainly not worth repeating.

The food in the restaurant was really delicious! Each dish was a feast for the taste buds, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service was top notch – friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes good food and wants a nice evening out!

Disgusting! The sushi was delicious the first time, nothing to complain about. The more I eat it, the more I notice it. Last time there was a CRUG in my raw salmon. I immediately threw up everything and it made me really sick. Because of this I didn't dare to eat sushi for weeks. Gave it another chance yesterday, unfortunately a failed chance! There was a hair in my sushi, yuck! Furthermore, the salmon and tuna did NOT seem FRESH. The tuna was darker than normal and the salmon was falling apart. When we raised this today, we received a rude response. I don't think this is neat or the way to solve matters. This is because I still had confidence in it, but the mistakes keep repeating themselves. Too bad itosshi, I will never recommend you again

Best sushi in the whole Netherlands. Top service, staff always kind and polite, and the food is just amazing. Definitely worth it's price. You'll be greeted with a smile and you'll leave with a smile. I would 100% recommend it

After more than half an hour of waiting, while tables that came later received their food earlier, we finally got our food, read; Tasteless noodle soup, with cold chicken and cold nasi with chicken... 2 Japanese tea also takes half an hour. So 10x nothing. They cannot handle crowds and employees continue to eat quietly as if nothing has happened. The sushi wasn't bad, but they really don't get more than 1 star from me. Unfortunately..

Today, I tried this place for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Usually I order fried shrimp sushi and when I ordered today I didn't expect much because no matter where I sit the fried shrimp sushi is always bad. However I ate theirs and it was the best fried shrimp sushi I have ever had. The rice and everything was perfect, but the shrimp was exceptional - it was crunchy and kinda warm (the perfect temperature). Their dumplings were amazing - again, the texture was the perfect combination of soft and hard. The people were very friendly and fast. If you want to eat in or take out - I recommend this place. 11/10

Quality of the food varies greatly. the place had zero atmosphere and employees were not friendly. The place is really ugly and unkempt. There is rubbish everywhere and it is dirty and dusty. Disinterested employees who don't even greet you. Had ordered once for delivery (location about 5 minutes from the Mall) and an employee said by telephone that I had not placed an order even though I had already paid. Mdw was very unfriendly and rude, acted very nonchalant like: Very quiet tonight, and I don't see it. Also no sorry or anything, then no food on your evening shift.😑 I also went to eat there a few times, the first time was okay, but I wanted to sit outside in the nice weather, so I took it with me. The meat was very dry and tasteless. Broth was really tasteless. Too bad, it really wasn't tasty.

The food isn't bad, but it's almost a joke to come to a restaurant, pay a lot and still have to eat with plastic. As you can see, it's easy, very practical to eat noodle soup with this spoon

Avoid, you can get much better japanese in radius of 30m

There is no way to get water (even from the tap) - only buy small can with water for 2.65 (it definitely helps to save the nature) We ordered 3 ramen (chicken, bief, pork) - this is the worse ramen in the city. Boulion is awful - like the water. Meet is very hard, especially bief… Also they charge extra money for the plates… Egg and chicken was good. And the food was severed fast. And they gave 2 napkins for 3 people. We are used to much better food.. so for us it was very bad :( Hopefully one time issue. Good luck

I ordered the seared salmon. But what I got was burnt salmon. I wouldn't dare give this kind of salmon to children. Sushi chef skills are limited.

Tasty sushi. Always good and fast and friendly service. Also delicious Japanese beer. In addition to sushi, they also have delicious chicken, etc. I like coming there.

Unagi don. Eel tasted good but was very tough, rice was much too dry. For €16.50 a big disappointment for a plastic bowl of dry rice with a piece of fish and sauce.

The 'ramen' really doesn't taste like anything, but the top price is asked for at €15.8 per bowl. Oh and the 5ct disposable plastic BS tax on top, even if you eat on site.

We ordered two bowls of ramen. The first time they brought it to us, the noodles were frozen in clumps, so we couldn't eat uncooked, frozen noodles. So we asked for a replacement. The second portion looked exactly like the photo. In addition, the waitress' attitude was very bad and she did not want to give a refund. Our dining experience this time was very disappointing.

Altijd hele verse en goede sushi. Wel via hun eigen website bestellen. Duurt soms iets langer met bezorgen, dat komt omdat het daar altijd enorm druk is. Ze zijn super lief en vriendelijk, dus daar moet je gewoon even rekening mee houden.

Ik heb hier een aantal keer sushi gehaald in mijn pauze. Ik ben elke keer snel geholpen en het eten was snel klaar. Super lekker

Itoshii is a Japanese restaurant inside the Westffield mall of the Netherlands. They serve a variety of Japanese dishes such as sushi and rice bowls. We ordered one of their rice bowls and the salmon sushi box. Both of them were delicious and it ended up being quite filling.

Best sushi at the neighborhood. Fresh, great selection and boxes. Have ordered many times already and will order a lot more if they keep it up like this.

Wat een heerlijke sushi kregen we gisteren geleverd. Goed verpakt en keurig op tijd. Superverse vis. Probeer ook vooral de specials (zie foto’s)!

Sushi is heerlijk! De inktvisballen waren wat minder, maar in tegenstelling tot andere reviews vonden wij de bediening erg behulpzaam!

Eten zag er netjes en vers uit. Temperatuur van het eten was goed. Eten was lekker op smaak.

Leuke aankleding , helaas is daar alles ook mee gezegd. Medewerker achter de kassa kent de gerechten niet , moest serieus nrs opnoemen. De ramen was mooi opgemaakt maar zat geen smaak aan en een lauwe temperatuur. De karaage was op zich wel te doen vandaar de 2e ster. Hoge verwachtingen maar helaas geen aanrader

Great fresh food and fast but the ceiling was leaking a bit which made the experience less enjoyable. But would definitely come back as it is convenient to eat while spending the day at the Mall.

Because I had a good experience with the Itoshii at Utrecht Central Station, my friend and I decided to try out this one at the Westfield mall. We ordered a bao bun, some gyoza and a bentobox. Unfortunately this Itoshii turned out to be very disappointing. The sushi was poorly made; with too much rice and ridiculously small portion of topping. The fried rice was bland and the accompanying chicken was dry. Most of the gyoza were ripped open during the cooking process. The cha siu in the bao bun was dry and was not in balance with the rest of the toppings.

Je krijgt een plastic bakje om je soyasaus in te doen en een plastic afhaalbox? Terwijl wij hier zaten te lunchen. Ze kwamen het geen eens aan tafel brengen. Sushi is niet bijzonder, "gewoon" lekker. Het mist grotere stukken vis/kip en de versieringen. Het vrouwtje die sushi stond te bereiden stond af en toe mee te snoepen tijdens het bereiden. Niet netjes en niet hygiënisch

Slechte service. Op de eigen site een maaltijd en wat extra's besteld. In het verleden ging het goed. Soms een beetje laat bezorgd maar de smaak maakt veel goed. Nu kwam het eten een vol uur te laat. Na een half uur belde ik en hoorde dat de bezorger onderweg was. Bij aankomst was echt alles dat warm hoort te zijn gewoon koud, niet lauw warm maar echt koud! Toen ik belde om te klagen werd me verteld dat ik het maar op moest warmen! Ik zit niet een uur te wachten om het zelf op te moeten warmen! Hele slechte beurt Itoshi. Had dan gebeld om te vertellen dat het later zou worden. Dan was het eten toch wel koud geweest maar had ik me daar op ingesteld. Nu heb ik tijd terwijl het eten in de pan ligt om een recensie te schrijven.

La sopa de ramen es genial. Es una pena que haya poco espacio para sentarse y cierran temprano a las 8, por lo que no es un lugar para una cena relajada. Además, no tienen anteojos. Ofrecen algunos bocadillos realmente buenos como el taco de mango. Los precios son muy razonables, por lo que también se recomienda para llevar.

Solo hay dos tiendas abiertas a primera hora de la tarde, siendo Toshii una. Habiendo viajado mucho en Asia, de hecho, vivo allí. y también me quedé en Japón por trabajo, estoy un poco decepcionado. Por lo que obtienes y dado el precio, no es lo que esperarías. La comida que tomamos no era tan buena. En particular, la sopa de fideos con carne que era como si el elemento principal saliera de un paquete de fideos. Bastante insípido, y solo pequeñas astillas de carne. Además, en realidad no es mucho. En comparación con otros lugares similares en Holanda y decidimos no volver de nuevo.

Vandaag bij toeval terecht gekomen. Vriendelijk personeel, sushi wordt vers gemaakt en smaakt heerlijk. We komen zeker terug!
