From the outside, you wouldn't guess that it has a nice interior and is a beautiful restaurant. The sushi on offer is good in taste and quality. The hot dishes are also tasty. All things considered, this is a good all-you-can-eat place. However, I find the price of €46.00 quite steep, especially considering the rolls are quite well filled. They are actually quite small. The hot portions aren't very large either. Yes, that gives you the chance to try more.

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Damlaan. We had a fantastic meal here, and the presentation of the sushi was truly a feast for the eyes. The sushi with the topping of crispy onions and fresh spring onions was a huge hit, in particular. Everything tasted very fresh, and the variety on the plates was top-notch. We will definitely be back here soon.

An absolutely wonderful all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. This is one of the few places I go to for special occasions. The portions are great, and the quality even better. The nigiri is especially well portioned. It's not overloaded with rice and the salmon is especially so tender. I also highly recommend their beef, it's flavourful and tender too! The interior is a wonderful blend of black and gold, decorated with nature-themed lamps and trees between seats. The service is always very welcoming and professional, and are quick with their service. A final thing to mention is that the nougat that comes with their hot drinks is so addictive. It's the softest nougat I've ever had, and they were kind enough to let me have a few extra's. I can only sing praises to this restaurant, and highly recommend that people come here. It doesn't feel like they cut corners, which is sadly rare nowadays. I only wish for further success to the restaurant and the team.

All-you-can-eat concept place. To be honest, I wasn’t fully convinced by the price–performance balance. The service was good and the staff were polite, though. You can order 5 rounds, and each time it’s up to 5 plates per person. The issue is that some portions—especially certain sushi—were really small, sometimes just 2 pieces. With the system already limiting you like that, having the price slightly above average felt a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was okay but slightly below expectations considering the overall rating.

Great restaurant great service incredibly delicious food. What a variety. 44 eur per person 22 per child is quite costly so, can be once in a while experince not a frequent visit. All family members were full after third round. You should come here with a pretty empty stomach :)

It is difficult to find a good sushi all you can eat. For a good price you can have near unlimited delicious sushi. This is my second time in 2 months coming here, it might be my new favorite spot.

We had dinner at Taiō last night. And it was fantastic! We walked in and the restaurant was completely full, yet the friendly staff prepared and served our food incredibly quickly. And it was delicious! Definitely recommended. Great evening, keep up the good work! 🩷

Nice sushi restaurant with lots of choice and good quality for one price.

The decor is a 10/10. Very nicely done inside. The service is good. However people seem very fixated from 1 table to kitchen/bar. I don't know how many passed our table when the ticket was ready. They were very friendly so definitely not complaining, it's just an observation. Feels like the team is fixated on helping people as quickly as possible. Portion sizes are strange for some sushi in my opinion, some things are per 3. Not easy when you also want to share. Sushi overal was ok. Though not everything prepared the traditional way. Overal I give the taste a 6.5/10 for the sushi. (I have a very high standard for it) Others may rate it higher. It's not bad by any means, presentation is also good. No complaints there The warm food was generally ok. Not great tbh. Most grill was dry, the grilled squid was too dry at the top, the middle part was rubbery. Mushrooms were too greasy. Lamb chops were good I recommend those. Dessert options quite limited. Overal the experience was ok.

Since I ate at Taiyō Sushi, I can never go back to other AYCE sushi restaurants. The difference in quality is so significant that I get a kind of FOMO when I eat anywhere else. The difference in quality is mainly due to the perfect ratio of rice to toppings/fillings. Each bite of sushi is small enough to easily fit in your mouth, but with enough rice and fish (or other fillings) to capture the flavors of all the individual ingredients. Furthermore, their use of (Japanese) mayo is minimal. At AYCE restaurants like Sumo or Shabu Shabu, I often feel like I'm eating a mountain of rice with a dollop of mayo. The fish they use is also always good, and I've never smelled a fishy odor with their raw fish. They also always prepare their crispy shrimp sushi (among other things) fresh, so the shrimp is still warm and crispy, unlike other AYCE restaurants where the shrimp is wet, cold, and soggy.

I eat here quite often, and for good reason. When we have something to celebrate, we go here for the most delicious sushi. For people who don't like fish, there are enough options as well but if you like sushi... this is the place to be. Maybe it is somewhat more expensive than other sushi places but the quality is more than worth it. The owner is lovely and the service is what can be expected, kind and fast. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The food is perfect! Best Sushi buffet I’ve tried so far… honestly better than in Japan. I give it 4 stat just because of the old school way of ordering, it’s confusing, time consuming and honestly backward. Writing down on a paper and trying to find a waitress to pass on the order, is kind of weird in 2025. Hope they improve on that, then it’s a 5 star.

One word: TOP! The food here is fantastic, the staff is super friendly, we come here often, and it's always a treat! I recommend it to everyone.

I'm gluten-free, and this restaurant is very knowledgeable. If I make a bad choice, someone comes to me to let me know, and I can choose a different dish. I have their own gluten-free menu. It works fantastically. My children and I go here at least once a month. It's a treat (for me) every time.

It's the right temperature, fresh, and the portions are generous, unlike other sushi chains where the sushi is often covered in sauce. The other dishes are also very tasty. If you're wondering whether the reviews are fake.. they’re not! The food, staff, and ambience are truly excellent. Nearly every dish we tried was delicious. Just two small points: the lamb rack was a bit bland without the sauce, and personally, I preferred the small sole fish without it. The highlights for me were the sushi, miso soup, shrimp, squid rings, ebi tempura, and beef, all perfectly prepared. This has officially become my go-to all-you-can-eat sushi spot. Well done, and thank you!

All you can Eat apparently does not mean unlimited ordering here. Even though you eat everything neatly. If you want to order more after 5 rounds, they act as if you eat "too much". When you ask about it, they indicate that they are not "All you can eat" and that it actually always stays at a maximum of 5 rounds. This is very ambiguous because on their menu, website and in their house rules they do indicate that they are an "all you can eat" where you can order unlimitedly. And when you point this out again, they act as if it is some kind of typo or that they did not know that it was stated like that.

They claim it's an all you can eat restaurant, but yesterday night I've been there for 2 hours and I barely ate something. You can order 5 items per round and it takes them 40 minutes to evade your order. All this to eat hot sushi rice with still frozen fish on it. For 50€ pp I could have eaten at a top level sushi restaurant the same, if not more, amount of sushi. Never again

The food is amazing, unfortunately when you pick it up it is never ready and you always have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. Even if there are no hot dishes in your order.

Very tasty food. The salmon melts in your tongue. All sushi is made fresh, so it sometimes takes a while to be ready. But enough time to eat a delicious meal in 2.5 hours.

Spontaneously had dinner here today and after calling they immediately reserved a place for me. I was able to visit within 5 minutes and the service and friendliness certainly makes it a 5 star visit. Next to me there was a table with a baby who even received specially cooked vegetables so she could eat with us. Menu could have been a bit more extensive or I am too spoiled in other places, that is also possible. Still 5 stars :-).

We spontaneously wanted to eat somewhere different than the one we had reserved. So my husband started calling a few places and they happened to have room here. I think it's such a shame that we never heard of this restaurant before! It's really delicious and there's so much choice. Service is also very friendly and fast! Really everything you want to see in a restaurant... we are real sushi eaters and have tried so many restaurants. To be honest, this is one of the best among the all you can eat concepts. The food is still very warm and you don't wait very long for it.

Large collection, beautiful interior with good chairs where you can really sit comfortably. Skip the chains and be persuaded to dine here for an evening with more passion and refinement. You will have no regrets. The price is slightly higher, but that ensures that it does not become a children's play paradise. It's well put together, just do it. Ps.
