The reservation went smoothly and the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. We ate very tender spareribs and an XXL schnitzel. It was delicious for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Sunday, August 30, 2026: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here. So well taken care of, absolutely exquisite. We were a group of 46 people, including 7 children. Everyone had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Thanks in part to the staff, this became an unforgettable day for us.

I almost never post reviews. Yesterday we celebrated my father-in-law's 80th birthday with a family dinner at the Jacobushoeve restaurant. The food was delicious and the location is beautiful. And the meter-long schnitzel was also a fun experience. But above all, the service was super friendly! The ladies, and gentleman, clearly enjoy working there! You see that too rarely these days. Hats off to them! We will definitely be back here.

Once again we enjoyed a superb piece of meat and for dessert a delicious sundae of homemade Jacobushoeve ice cream.

We came here for dinner on Sunday evening. It was very busy, but that didn't bother us at all. The service was very good, and we quickly got a nice table near the playground. That way, we could keep a close eye on our daughter in the sandbox. Highly recommended for families with small children! 💛

We had the pleasure of enjoying dessert at this cozy location (with a friendly welcome) while participating in a "Happen & Trappen" route. You never know what to expect with a route like this, but the dessert was delicious as a perfect ending to a day of cycling: an ice cream sundae with strawberries.

Always busy because the ice cream is delicious, but you get served quickly for a scoop to go.

We come to the Jacobushoeve at least once a week, sometimes for lunch, dinner, or just to get a delicious homemade ice cream. Every time, it is a real treat! The atmosphere is always cozy and relaxed, the staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the food is simply very good. You can sit comfortably here both inside and on the atmospheric outdoor terrace. And there is a small playground for the children. There are also goats and billy goats roaming around. A lovely place that we go to with pleasure every time. Highly RECOMMENDED. You guys are the best.

We had to ask the wait staff to serve our table ourselves several times; the food was okay, not warm, the steak small and overcooked for medium. Unfortunately, the children had wood splinters on their hands and feet.

We had dinner here and the food was good. It is a beautifully decorated place. The staff was friendly. The entrance to the restaurant is not very clearly marked. Update: dogs are allowed both inside and outside, and they are considerate, for example, by providing a bowl of water.

We didn't have a reservation and, despite the crowds, they still got a table for us. The order arrived super fast and we had a delicious meal. All praise to the friendly waitress!!! Highly recommended to go back again, despite the distance.

We didn't even get to eat. They just walk right past you here. A table next to you did get served. "Yeah, sorry, busy," I heard. And the employee had already flown off. Never coming here again. Hospitality of the lowest level.

After doing research on the website, I drove here specifically with my children for the gnome trail and the corn maze. Upon arrival, we were told that the trail and the maze would only open after the farmers' market. I sat in the car for 40 minutes for nothing. This certainly could have been mentioned on the website to prevent disappointment. The employee said she had often heard that mentioning this on the website would help. All the more frustrating that this has not yet been changed!

Cozy ambiance, much more possible than just food

We come here regularly for lunch or drive here specifically to get a nice ice cream. Unfortunately, our last experience was less positive. We wanted an ice cream in a cone, but the staff behind the ice cream counter said to each other that they “didn't feel like getting cones from the warehouse” and that they were therefore out of stock. When I indicated that I found that disappointing, there was no response. In the end, we just ordered our ice cream in a cup. Unfortunately, the staff seemed more occupied with chatting amongst themselves and complaining about orders than with the customers. That did not give us a welcoming feeling. We find this very unfortunate, because we really enjoyed coming here. We hope that this will be addressed so that the service once again matches the quality we are used to here.

Had a lovely lunch with three friends and a delicious ice cream. Personally, I don't think a carafe of tap water at 3.80 euros is acceptable.

Had lunch here with our yoga group! Cozy atmosphere. Nicely cool inside with air conditioning. The menu was surprisingly tasty and the prices were reasonable. A huge parking lot behind, so no parking problem. Also suitable for very large groups and funerals, we saw. Highly recommended!

Too many sticky flies and wasps. That is actually just gross. And that is the reason we won't be coming back during the summer months. The food is otherwise fine. The ice creams are tasty. The service is also very friendly.

We ate here last Saturday (March 15). At first glance, a fine restaurant with friendly staff. Until we had to wait a very long time between the starter and the main course. We then asked where the food was; something had gone wrong with passing the message to the kitchen. At that moment, the table behind us (who had arrived later) got their food first, then us. Eventually, we received our food. And we got drinks and ice cream on the house. Not a pleasant experience; we won't be coming back anytime soon. Not recommended.
