If you want to have a nice lunch, you should visit Janssen en van Dongen. Here you don't order sandwiches, but sandwiches. A lunch twist that fits and tastes good. I went here for lunch on November 25, 2023, when I arrived (around 12:30) the place was half full, a number of tables reserved, but luckily there was still a spot available to have lunch. A friendly lady helped us and actually had to do the whole shop on her own. It is not big, but when everyone came in, almost every table was filled, this is quite a challenge. This is at the expense of the speed of service. I went for 2 surprise sandwiches with 4 different types of toppings, highly recommended! The waitress neatly explained what I was getting and I enjoyed it! After lunch, I sat quietly for a while with a drink and then paid the bill and continued my way.

Conviviality and good food. You can opt for sandwiches (say beautifully decorated) and a salad with the same products. The menu is nice and diverse and changes with the seasons. We like to come there, even just for a coffee (with a cake ;)).

It is certainly not expensive for a smoked chicken salad with avocado at 6.45 or 6.95, but I think they could make the salad more expensive because it was inedible. The avocado was mashed and the chicken was cut in such a way that you could barely taste that it was smoked chicken.

This terrace is located in a shopping street. Nice sitting outside under a parasol. What a super delicious, richly filled salad. Sweet Kerry with mussels and salmon. An original card, with excellent price/quality ratio. Recommended!

Had a nice lunch, but the tables are far too close together

I had a sandwich with tuna carpaccio, it was so cold that you could hardly chew it, it didn't taste like anything and when you picked it up it looked like something stuck together, has nothing to do with tuna, after 2 bites it was stated. that it was far too cold and tasteless. I didn't eat it anymore, I had to pay for everything, but I wasn't asked at all if I wanted anything else (I didn't have to anymore), but give people a cup of coffee. I will definitely never come back there

It's a shame that you are not prepared for takeaway without ordering in advance and therefore send people away because you are too busy. Not very good advertising. Then state on your website that you can only collect orders placed in advance.
