The best carpaccio sandwich. A nice spot to sit down for lunch, but also great for grabbing a takeaway.

The food was very tasty, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere good, nothing to complain about.

The high tea on Tuesday afternoon was well catered for. We received plenty of delicious snacks. We were given an explanation of the snacks, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we were welcomed hospitably.

What an incredibly fun restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The menu is totally out of the box. Mix and match😁 Had a delicious meal. Excellent service. I can't think of a single point for improvement. Highly recommended.

Just a random lunch. Our son and daughter-in-law gave us a voucher. They weren't familiar with this, but they took a chance. We had a wonderful time sitting outside on the terrace. What a delicious experience, fantastic!! We'll be back soon. And we'll bring the kids. We want to surprise them this time. Great menu and delicious dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it. This cozy lunch spot offers a delicious lunch or drinks (with pastries). The "twelve-hour snack" is highly recommended! The staff is friendly.

Cozy atmosphere, nice restaurant. Ordered "12 O'Clock" for lunch. However, neither of us liked the sandwich this time. The carpaccio was very cold and tasted like it had come straight from the refrigerator, a bit watery and tasteless as a result. The sandwich with salmon and vegetables was also very cold, and the vegetables tasted a bit bitter, which is why we didn't enjoy that either. We eat lunch there often and always have a delicious meal, but this time it was a bit disappointing. The soup was definitely very good, and so was the bread. Friendly service. When we paid, we saw a plate with bread and salmon with apricot jam. If I had known that beforehand or had been told, I definitely would have ordered that. It sounded delicious right away.

If you want to have a nice lunch, you should visit Janssen en van Dongen. Here you don't order sandwiches, but sandwiches. A lunch twist that fits and tastes good. I went here for lunch on November 25, 2023, when I arrived (around 12:30) the place was half full, a number of tables reserved, but luckily there was still a spot available to have lunch. A friendly lady helped us and actually had to do the whole shop on her own. It is not big, but when everyone came in, almost every table was filled, this is quite a challenge. This is at the expense of the speed of service. I went for 2 surprise sandwiches with 4 different types of toppings, highly recommended! The waitress neatly explained what I was getting and I enjoyed it! After lunch, I sat quietly for a while with a drink and then paid the bill and continued my way.

Conviviality and good food. You can opt for sandwiches (say beautifully decorated) and a salad with the same products. The menu is nice and diverse and changes with the seasons. We like to come there, even just for a coffee (with a cake ;)).

It is certainly not expensive for a smoked chicken salad with avocado at 6.45 or 6.95, but I think they could make the salad more expensive because it was inedible. The avocado was mashed and the chicken was cut in such a way that you could barely taste that it was smoked chicken.

Had a nice lunch, but the tables are far too close together

I had a sandwich with tuna carpaccio, it was so cold that you could hardly chew it, it didn't taste like anything and when you picked it up it looked like something stuck together, has nothing to do with tuna, after 2 bites it was stated. that it was far too cold and tasteless. I didn't eat it anymore, I had to pay for everything, but I wasn't asked at all if I wanted anything else (I didn't have to anymore), but give people a cup of coffee. I will definitely never come back there

It's a shame that you are not prepared for takeaway without ordering in advance and therefore send people away because you are too busy. Not very good advertising. Then state on your website that you can only collect orders placed in advance.
