No 31 Breda in Breda centrum

I passed by several times this week, but it was always closed. This afternoon I wanted to have lunch here, but it was already closed around 1 p.m., very strange. I did have a delicious meal at Zeezicht, though, and I highly recommend it!

My carpaccio was partially frozen/cold, not a tasty lunch. A smoothie is served in a rather small glass for a hefty price. The atmosphere is lacking, as are the other guests, apparently.

Cozy sandwich shop right in the center of Breda. I had a Rib Eye sandwich here and it was fantastic! The truffle mayonnaise was excellent, not too much or too little, just right! Nicely decorated place with friendly staff/owners. See you soon!

Enjoyed a two-course lunch here through Social Deal for €7.95. The deal included a choice of two soups and a sandwich of your choice for €9.50. More expensive sandwiches were available for an additional fee. No. 31 is a relatively new location in Breda. It's a cozy spot, always something to see. A good, wide selection of sandwiches and drinks. A pleasant atmosphere. Open kitchen. The only downside was the long wait between courses. Our sandwich order wasn't taken until we'd finished our soup. Customers who arrived much later and didn't have a Social Deal were given priority. Understandable, since they hardly earn anything from such a deal. To gain customers, you first have to invest in brand recognition, which you can achieve by promoting yourself through Social Deal, among other things. However, it's important to provide the same level of service as non-Social Deal customers. Otherwise, very satisfied!

Nice place, friendly staff. Ate through Social Deal. Two brie sandwiches and one ham sandwich. The brie sandwiches were supposed to be warm. The cheese was melted, but they waited too long because they were cold when they were served. Also, the toppings were very sparse; there was almost no flavor. The ham sandwich was very well-filled, but it accidentally turned out to be a double portion of meat. For the normal price of a sandwich, I can make my own for much less with a lot more toppings. It's a shame, because the place is otherwise nice.

Loooooooong waiting time. The restaurant is not even full. They are 3 to work in the kitchen. We've waited 40 mins for the order to arrive. Our order: 1 bread 1 salad. I dont recommended to eat here unless you have a looot of time to spend for waiting.

After our city walk, we popped in for lunch with the social deal. The staff were warmly welcomed. The playful decor is meticulously detailed. But then there's the food. Pea soup to start, not as thick as Grandma makes, but delicious. And with sausage. Then there's the spicy chicken sandwich... a real specialty on the menu, a deserved recommendation. And now you know the Wi-Fi password 😂. All praise to No31, which is our number one pick. PS. Don't forget: today (December 6th) the plumber is coming to repair the toilet cistern in the ladies' room. This really needs to be fixed.

No fuss, just good quality food for a reasonable price in a relaxed Breda atmosphere. Come back soon! Go NAC!

Lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel!

Op zondag middag heb ik hier geluncht. Een erg sfeervol pand, met boven extra ruimte om te zitten. Ik heb hier een social deal 2 gangen keuze lunch op, super lekker. Het broodje met de flat iron steak is zeker een aanrader. Aardig personeel. Als met al zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Nieuw in het assortiment de crompouce, jammie, jammie. Ook hier eens naar binnen, prachtige trendy zaak, netjes, verzorgd, vriendelijk en beleefd personeel. Uitgebreide menukaart, ook vega even een rustpuntje voor een kop koffie en een gebak, belegde broodjes je kunt er goed eten tegen een redelijke prijs leuk om hier eens binnen te gaan je kunt er gezellig zitten en genieten van de verschillende mensen die daar voorbij lopen, boven in de zaak ook een ruime keuze voor medere personen voor vergaderingen ruimte gratis! Alleen betaald u voor het eten en drinken is ook een aanrader voor voor stedentrippers.

Excellent déjeuner. Les sandwiches et salades sont délicieux et préparés avec des produits de très bonne qualité. Un accueil et service sympathique. Excellente adresse c’est un délice !
