De Broodtoren was one of the participating establishments in the Local Taste Winter Special. That is how we ended up here. For a Taste coin, you received a tasty tasting platter. In the morning, that was French toast with cinnamon ice cream and fruit. It looked beautifully presented and tasted very good. I saw on social media that they had a crème brûlée latte, so we ordered that too, and it was delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves! It was Delicious!

I have drink only cappuccino in the morning, but it was best for last 3 years 👍

Very tasty french toast made from sugar bread. A delicious option, especially for the sweet tooths among us!! The fruit I got was very fresh and more than enough. Staff was very nice and there was a nice atmosphere. The terrace was full and I completely understand why. In short, if you are in Breda for a day, definitely have lunch here!!!

Today we ate at the bread tower and at first glance it looked like a nice lunch spot. But I am not satisfied with the hygiene, she worked with an open kitchen and you could see them sneezing into their hands and then going to make sandwiches. I didn't say anything about it, but I regretted it afterwards, hence the review.

Sooo pleasantly surprised by this place: super friendly staff, excellent menu for breakfast/brunch/lunch and also chef was happy to accomodate what we requested. And so happy that its not overpriced like most places around this area. Really made our day. Thank you ☺️

The Bread Tower didn't really offer a good experience. The oat milk was gone and so was the pulled chicken. The iced tea was missing ice. Moreover, the music was too loud. The food was fine.

There were a total of 4 guests inside. And it still took a very long time before we got the food. The staff was much more concerned with each other than with the guests. They stood chatting all the time, looking around disinterestedly while we wanted to order. I also saw that people who came in were not even greeted, not even in a customer friendly manner. And it wasn't very clean either, spiders were hanging above your head, and in the toilet there was mold on the ceiling. The food was tasty, I can't fault that, but I had to ask for a sauce myself.

Been here twice now, once for lunch and once for breakfast/brunch. Both times we received a very friendly welcome and the food was delicious! So much choice on the menu that we will definitely come back here more often. 🤗

Went to this bar for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. You get delicious, well-proportioned food for a very decent price. I had the carpaccio open sandwich with truffle mayonnaise, which was super tasty. Moreover, it is nicely decorated here and we received friendly and reasonably fast service.

Delicious food Sweet staff To wait long But well resolved

Had lunch on Sunday afternoon with 8 people. Beautiful and nice place. It was very busy and therefore ordering did not go very well. After a while it was reported that there was no more ketchup. A little later it was reported that the pulled chicken could no longer be served. When we got the food, unfortunately there were 2 hairs in the hamburger. Fortunately it was neatly taken away, but the waiter later came with a chicken burger. This was not ordered so it was taken back and in the end we received a good hamburger. The staff was very friendly. Despite the problems, we had a very tasty meal.

Had lunch here for the 1st time. We both opted for bread with hot chicken. It was delicious, well seasoned, crispy fresh lettuce and cracking fresh bread. The service is smooth and friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Bij de reservering aangegeven dat mijn oom invalide is en in een rolstoel komt en dat mijn tante ook slecht ter been is. Voor de ingang van het restaurant is wel een rolstoel helling geplaatst maar de rest van het restaurant is uitermate rolstoel ongeschikt. 3/4 van de ruimte ligt 4cm lager waardoor er een grote afstap is. Mijn tante zag deze over het hoofd en brak haar pols, geen toesnellend personeel wat helpt maar gewoon staat te kijken. Krijgen vervolgens een koude stinkende theedoek om mee te koelen en mogen op het einde nog de volle mep betalen voor de 3 drankjes die we hadden besteld. Het had jullie gesierd als jullie hadden gezegd dat de drankjes ter compensatie waren want onze dag was wel over. Konden met de taxi naar het Amphia ziekenhuis. Een ongeluk zit in een klein hoekje maar laat het personeel alsjeblieft bij binnenkomst de gasten attenderen op de vrij forse afstap. Enkel tape is blijkbaar niet voldoende. Zorg voor de juiste EHBO middelen, dit gaat nog veelste vaak fout in de horeca en bespreek met personeel wat te doen bij een ongeval zodat deze juist acteren. Ik zou als eigenaar niet pretenderen dat dit etablissement rolstoeltoegankelijk is.

It has a nice atmosphere where you can sit outside and watch people walking by. It's also warm and cosy inside. Service was on time and respectful. Food is delicious and good value for money.

Had een rosbief broodje,er zat geen ei bij,had gevraagd of ik een gebakken eitje kon krijgen en dat kon,geweldig,service,leuk cozy eettent,goede sfeer heerlijk goed bereid eten. Echt een aanrader!!!

Fijn gezeten. Personeel heel vriendelijk, ruime keuze op de lunchkaart en de gerechten zijn overigens ook nog heerlijk! Zeker een aanrader voor als je in de buurt bent.

Gisteren heerlijk hier kunnen lunchen, zelf had ik de panini hete kip met sambal, chilisaus en kaas. Was voor mij niet te pittig, dus mocht je goed tegen pittig eten kunnen, raad ik je dit aan. Ook zijn er 2 tosti's besteld en een carpaccio waar ik niks geen negatiefs van gehoord heb. Heel vriendelijk personeel en de sfeer was ook heel erg goed te doen. Al met al een hele goede aanrader om lekker te kunnen lunchen!

Een leuk tentje met vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk geluncht! Fijne sfeer. Ik kom hier zeker terug.

We dachten voor het werk hier nog even te lunchen. Na 3 kwartier wachten hebben we gevraagd of ze het vergeten waren en dat was dus zo.. we konden afrekenen en gaan omdat we niet meer de tijd hadden om nog een keer op de bereiding wachten. Wel twee sterren omdat je op een leuke plek zit.

Na een uur wachten zelf moeten vragen om wat te drinken te bestellen. Het eten was oké, maar na weer een half uur wachten toch maar besloten om ergens anders de koffie te gaan drinken. Jammer, want de sfeer in de zaak is prima!

Lekkere soep, de dagsoep was erwtensoep. Mooie rijke soep. Ook de hete kip was lekker.

Echt heerlijk geluncht hier. Lekker warm en gezellig en waar voor je geld.

Suikervrije high tea gedaan met mijn moeder, die diabetes heeft. Snelle bediening, vriendelijk personeel, leuke sfeer en lekker eten. Het was voor het eerst dat het restaurant de suikervrije optie aanbood en wat ons betreft is het helemaal goed. We kregen eerst een ronde met sandwiches en quiche, daarna een ronde met een aantal kleine gebakjes, en uiteraard zo veel verse thee als we wilden. Alles was heerlijk en je merkte niet eens dat het suikervrij was, echt een aanrader!

Toen wij een dagje Breda deden om te shoppen liepen wij hier binnen. Het zag er gezellig uit en de sfeer was oke. Wij kregen het tafeltje bij de trap en namen de kaart van een andere tafel. Onze tafel had namelijk geen menu kaart aanwezig. Wij maakte de keuze een tosti brie voor haar en een boeren omelet voor mij. Ik zocht iets zonder kaas want daar ga ik niet zo lekker op als dat gesmolten is. Echter in de omelet zat dus toch kaas en daar heb ik nu 2 dagen van mogen nagenieten. Tip voor de organisatie, zet het even op de kaart. Je hebt er leuke icoontjes voor zoals gluten, vegan en lactose. Anders hadden ze echt een 5 sterren gekregen.

Club carpacio was erg lekker, mede door truffelmayonaise. Alleen jammer dat het brood wat hard was door het roosteren, vandaar 1 ster minder.

Heerlijk geluncht!! Ook prima meegedacht voor iets te eten voor kleine Nora.

Tip voor de kok, salades in schalen doen die passend zijn aan de inhoud. Niet te doen als je carpaccio wil snijden en alles naast je schaal beland. Ik vond de salade ook te slap qua smaak en te karig voor die prijs. Mijn tafelgenoten hadden andere gerechten en wel heerlijk gegeten. Tja...

Hier laten ze zien dat je niet veel ruimte nodig hebt om een leuke zaak te hebben met heerlijke broodjes.
