Great place to have lunch with small children

We ordered breakfast here. The online menu doesn't match the actual menu. I asked for pancakes with fruit without the granola and cream, but they still offered the cream. After the first bite, I stopped; I really didn't like the combination. My friend ordered carrot cake (which was okay) and a croissant with cheese. He received an undercooked croissant with a piece of cheese folded into quarters on the side. A very disappointing experience.

Delicious pancakes, not too sweet. It's great that they've also thought of the little ones. There's a play area and various items for kids to order, such as sandwiches, croissants, and smoothies.

Top tips: -A great spot if you're looking for a kid-friendly cafe in the heart of the city. -Delicious pancakes, both savory and sweet, and fish, meat, vegetarian, and vegan options are available. -No extra charge for oat milk. -The service is friendly and polite. Tips: -The website has been down (for at least weeks), so you have to make an estimate based on social media. -Reservations can only be made by phone. -English-speaking service. Not a big deal, but I didn't expect this place to be that busy. -The staff sits at a table on their mobile phones when they're not working.

Het is schandalig welke prijs ze in rekening brengen voor een Koffie Cortado. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken. Eens en nooit meer.

If you have young children and are looking for a place where you can eat delicious food and children can play while it is relatively quiet and peaceful, then this is highly recommended. We even go to Breda for it. Extensive play corner with Lego and all kinds of books and cars. A small team of a chef and service are ready for delicious food where there are also plenty of vegan options.

New owners are doing a great job, dont shy away from the fact that they are still learning. Asking for you opinion and advice. They really listen to the customers. Curious to see what they do with place over the next few months.

Unfortunately it was disappointing. On the expensive side, everything was dirty, sticky, much was not available, and no good information about allergens (while the food should be homemade). The service was very friendly but also chaotic (always stay alert). My son was very happy with the play corner.

It's very good for breakfast, they have all kinds of pancakes, coffee and super delicious smoothies, to eat something more substantial I would go somewhere else. The terrace is beautiful and inside it is very well decorated.

Nice place for people with (small) children. They have a play area and kid friendly finger food and juices.

Bad operation. The table was only cleaned after half an hour, we had to ask for this ourselves. Also it took a very long time for drinks and food to be taken and served.

Super fun concept! Only it was very dirty, everything was sticky and the floor was very dirty. The toys may also need to be cleaned occasionally. Have been twice now and twice the crockery was broken, which I find dangerous with a small child.

Nice tent, very nice service. Had a delicious Italian flatbread with a tasty smoothie and fresh apple pie. Quiet place too. Highly recommended. Also with children but also without 😁

Great fun with a little one! Nice play corner, even for the little ones. Always enough high chairs and delicious food! The pancakes are highly recommended! Always fresh fruit snacks and sandwiches for the little ones and a fantastic changing area. The only downside I think is the service. You often have to walk to the counter yourself to order or attract attention if you want something (a bit inconvenient with a little one who you have to keep an eye on).

Had a delicious flatbread here (Nordic flatbread). However, everything went wrong when ordering, so we only got our drinks after fifteen minutes. Then it seemed for a while that we would only get 1 flatbread, but luckily that was quickly corrected. And then asked several times if we wanted something to drink... A bit pushy!

A very sterile interior. The music was on a constant “sad” mode. The flatbread with chicken was okay, but clearly the flatbread is bought rather than home-made. It tasted factory made, too thick and not properly baked. The ingredients have not been in the oven which made it feel like a collection of ingredients, rather than a dish. Staff was very friendly but the establisment lacks the presence of owners (“it’s a job” mentality). It’s at a great location but I don’t see this turning into a desirable spot anytime soon.

Went there for Saturday breakfast. Lovely pancakes. Less sweet than you would expect but ideally as for me. You and your children will certainly enjoy it.

Delicious goat cheese salad with a smoothie, nothing wrong with that. The acoustics of the building are the only downside; everything sounds very loud.

The location itself - a street corner in Breda - is fine, but the service is (very) slow, the food is expensive and not special. It was a busy day, there were two people working as servers and we ended up waiting an hour (!) for two sandwiches, a few pancakes and a bowl of yogurt. The food looked nice, but didn't taste anything special: unremarkable, a bit boring. With a drink each, we spent 60 euros - too much for too little. I expect that this restaurant will no longer exist in a year, but if it is still there, I will pass it by.

Great place for families with small children but also for people who are vegan or vegetarian. Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere and the kids have a nice corner to play. Easily 5-8 children can happily play while the parents and friends enjoy the food and service.

Service goed,kwaliteit goed, maar tjonge tjonge, zowel de koffie als de carrotcake passen in een holle kies!! Dat nog tot daaraantoe, als de prijs er naar was. Maar hier zijn het hoofdprijzen. Wèl makkelijk te onthouden zo!

Leckeres Frühstück mit guter Portionsgröße. Die sehr nette Bedienung war erstaunt, dass wir alles geschafft haben, dabei haben wir gar nicht erwähnt, dass dies unsere zweites Frühstück war 😁 Egal, 5 Sterne wenn gleich man nicht ins Portemonnaie schauen darf.

Een leuke zaak vriendelijk personeel top

We moesten 45 minuten wachten op onze tosti. De kaas was niet helemaal gesmolten. De tafels buiten zijn vies. Niet geveegd. Voor ons 1x en niet weer.

Vriendelijk en gezellig, smakelijk, redelijk geprijsd. Zeker de moeite waard!

Servicekraft etwas überfordert. 4 Getränke bestellt, eins davon vergessen und musste nochmal nach gefordert werden und es war nicht viel los. Als der Kaffee kam, wurde beim abstellen geschlabbert, was nicht schlimm ist, wenn man dann wenigstens Servietten bekommen hätte was nicht der Fall war. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, haben nur Getränke genommen.

Wij komen er regelmatig met onze kleine kinderen. Ideaal voor alle leeftijden, zowel om te spelen maar ook qua eten en drinken. Het eten voor volwassenen is ook erg lekker!

Leuke zaak. We hebben van een lekkere lunch genoten! Voor ieder wat wils op de kaart :). Zeker prijs-kwaliteit en vriendelijke bediening!

Kindvriendelijk, maar ook leuk voor ouders en kindlosen. Het eten is net een snoeperij, wat goed valt bij de kids.

Geluncht bij Spruit. Ik vind het persoonlijk geen aanrader Tafeltjes, kussens en menukaarten allemaal wat plakkerig en smoezelig. Uitzinnige prijzen voor wat je krijgt. Weinig aangeklede gerechten, 3 plakjes uitgedroogde en flinterdunne komkommer waar je doorheen kon kijken naast je tosti. Wij hadden weinig vriendelijke en enthousiaste bediening maar misschien net verkeerd getroffen. Ik ben best bereid om wat meer te betalen voor de lunch maar dan moet t het wel waard zijn wat betreft eten, bediening en/of beleving. Concept is leuk maar kan echt beter uitgewerkt worden. Er zitten in dezelfde straat betere zaken met meer waar voor je geld.

Lekker eten, wel erg aan de prijzige kant voor wat het is. Speelhoekje leuk tot 5 jaar. Personeel echt heel liefdevol en vriendelijk! Mooi plekje om te verschonen etc. Van alle gemakken voorzien

Leuk tentje, beetje verstopt op het van coothplein. Groot terras en in de donkere maanden ook genoeg ruimte binnen. Voor kinderen leuk maar ook voor ouders. Leuke hebbedingetjes!

Leuke plek, woensdagochtend hebben ze er een borstvoedingscafe met deskundige Wendy Seelen, en je kan er met een gerust hart je kindje voeden en ondertussen veel informatie krijgen en contact leggen met andere ouders.

Vriendelijk personeel, jammer dat de Americain pancakes voorgebakken en verwarmd waren wat minder lekker is.

De pannekoeken waren erg lekker ookal leken ze niet helemaal gaar. Ik had die met zalm. Mijn zoon die met Nutella en pindakaas. Deze lunchroom is ook gericht op jonge kinderen, dus die waren er ook. Veel huilende baby's en peuters dus. Maar ik zag dat het een geweldige ontmoetigsplek is voor jonge ouders met kids. Voor ons iets minder, aangezien mijn zoon volwassen is en zich stoorde aan de huilende peuters.

Mijn favoriete plek tot nu toe. Hier kan je lekker lunchen samen met je kleintje. Er is ook al veel keus in eten vanaf 6 maanden. Dit heb je bijna nergens. Ook verkopen ze leuke kleertjes, kaarten etc. Er is een leuk speelhoekje en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en lief.

Heel veel lekkers voor jong en oud en een leuk speelhoekje voor de kids

De pancakes en koffie waren heerlijk. Leuke zaak om met je kinderen naar toe te gaan.

Klein, maar prima koffie terwijl kindje lekker speelt. Veel mama's en met het zonnetje lekker op terras.

Zoals aangegeven heel kindvriendelijk. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten.

Echt leuk met de kinderen en heerlijke gerechten

Mede door een Social Deal hier gaan lunchen. Heerlijke, unieke en gevarieerde keuze in lunchgerechten. Zowel hartige als zoete american pancakes beschikbaar, wat ik zelf niet heel vaak als lunchopties heb gehad. Alles is lekker vers en goed klaargemaakt. Service was ook goed, fijne serveersters. Alleen uiteindelijk vergeten verder te vragen voor ons 2e gang van de lunch. We zaten vrij vol, dus dit heeft de ervaring verder niet beïnvloed.

Pendant notre petite vacances à Breda, nous avons déjeuné au Spruit. Nous avons eu un délicieux repas et notre enfant a passé un bon moment avec tous les jouets! La service était superbe et la prochaine fois que nous serons à Breda, nous reviendrons certainement! Merci!

Het is een leuke, hippe locatie en inrichting. Vriendelijk personeel wat een stapje harder zet voor je, om het naar je zin te maken. Een diverse menukaart, waarbij je ook gewoon simpele dingetjes voor je kids kunt bestellen (maar natuurlijk ook gewoon lekkere pancakes!) En voor de volwassenen staat er zoveel lekkers op de kaart, dat je gewoon terug moet komen om alles te proberen!
