The service was very friendly and the food we ordered arrived quickly and tasted very good.

This restaurant is past its prime. Much of it was made up for by the friendly service and excellent value for money.

Fantastic location! We had a delicious lunch at Café Restaurant Jongepier. The atmosphere was great and relaxed, and the espresso was surprisingly good and hot.

I waited for half an hour but no one came to take the order, so I left.

Poor hospitality. When you try to move a chair because there's a stain on it, an older server asks you three times if you're right. Good hospitality means asking if everything is to your liking and not dismissing the customer as a fool. They don't quite get it there. Never went back.

Delicious lunch for a reasonable price. Especially when the weather is nice, it's wonderful here.

Food is fine, but the service is very bad. The staff are untrained and unfriendly. They are terribly rude, if you go to this area, visit the grand cafe next door instead or walk into the city for your refreshments.

A beautiful location in Dordrecht. Where three rivers meet. The terrace is a bit small. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our order to be taken. We went to the staff ourselves. The lunch was excellent.

We sat at the table for fifteen minutes, never approached by anyone, as if we were invisible. Then we walked away.

Delicious food. Only for the first time, we've experienced the waiter rolling his eyes while taking our order. Was that guy on his period??😅

Het was druk op het terras. We werden naar onze tafel gebracht en weg was de serveerster. Na vol verbazing geluisterd te hebben hoe een ober commentaar gaf op een klant en hardop zijn verontwaardiging uitsprak, durfden we bijna niet om de kaart te vragen. Die werd, door een andere serveerster, op tafel gesmeten. Terwijl we nog aan het aperitief en brood zaten, dat als voorafje was besteld, kwamen onze hoofdgerechten eraan. We moesten het er maar mee doen. Gastvrijheid was ver te zoeken. Het eten zelf was redelijk.

Complimenten voor het bedienend personeel. Servicegericht, attent, authentiek, direct en goed gevoel voor humor. Lopen op deze warme langste dag van het jaar de benen uit het lijf en zijn vooral zichzelf. Vooral blijven. De kelner die klinkt als Arjen Lubach himself. De blonde serveerster die er al meer dan 30 jaar werkt. Toppers die het verschil maken en het voor ons tot een zeer geslaagde avond hebben gemaakt. En natuurlijk is de lokatie geweldig. Het 3-rivierenpunt waar de Noord, de Oude Maas en de Merwede samenvloeien. Zeker een reden om nog een keer terug te komen in Dordrecht en een tafel te reserveren bij Cafe-Restaurant Langepier.

Mooie Locatie , prima gegeten . Slecht improvisatie vermogen . Iemand wilde graag bakje satesaus bij de frietjes . Saté staat op het menu . Dit kon niet sate saus was niet los verkrijgbaar . Voor iemand zoals ik die in de catering werkzaam is onbegrijpelijk .. De bediening was ook niet echt vriendelijk te noemen . Voor ons een reden dat dit de 1e en laatste keer was dat we hier zijn geweest . Jammer ..

ik kwam hier vroeger regelmatig maar deze keer erg teleurstellende ervaring. De carpaccio (12.50€ werd geserveerd zonder olijfolie en/of citroen. In de vis salade '(22.50€)zaten veel net ontdooide kleine garnalen, en tamelijk zoute zalm. De bediening was slecht gehumeurd. Voorlopig kom ik niet meer terug.

When it's already summer in April. We lean. Where the North meets the Old Maas meets the Lower Merwede. Groothoofd offers a wide view. When the evening sun turns gold the Old Maas. Serves Café Restaurant Jongepier. Asparagus. Ham. Egg. Potatoes. Butter gravy. Pinot Grigio. Westmalle Tripel. The service cheerfully maneuvers the tables. The chairs. Sloppily arranged cozy. We'll stay a little longer. Ice cream. Advocaat. Chocolate. Coffee. Calvados. Dessert. Farewell. See you someday.

Jongepier is a great little place that was recommended by a friend who had visited it before. The location is outside of the city center along the river, which you can watch the ships go by the food was good and the service good. I had the midday fish lunch special which included lobster soup three sandwiches (fish, croquette, tuna, and smoked salmon ) and a small salad. Pricing was reasonable.

Beautiful location! Unfortunately, the service could be much better. The person who helped us was rude and ignored us.

Fine, sometimes a long wait, but the staff worked hard to make everyone happy and to bring everything as quickly as possible. Too few staff, but you see that more in the catering industry these days.

We also wanted to have a bite to eat, but the person who served us wanted there to be more guests and didn't feel like it because the place was not full. Very nice place, nice wines, unfortunately we didn't eat

Onbeschofte obers. Beide obers hadden geen tijd voor de meeste mensen net als wij en als je dan de aandacht wilt om iets te bestellen werden we afgesnauwd. Deze twee heren kunnen beter stoppen met het werken in de horeca, want ze hadden er samen geen zin in op zaterdag 26 oktober. We hebben maar één drankje gedaan en de bedoeling was lekker te eten en drinken, jammer voor deze zaak wat in het verleden wèl leuk en vriendelijk was. Wij komen er nooit meer en zullen dit zeker met andere vrienden delen.

Waited 20 minutes for service, asked inside to order and sent outside again because only ordering on the terrace is possible ... staff does not look up or around, so we go to another terrace

Scandalous! There was no greeting. The man in the doorway didn't seem to mind. We indicated that we would like to sit outside on the terrace. The short answer was, "The seats are wet." Clearly there is no point in drying it. We ordered two lunches: one fish and one meat. It was tasteless: the soup broom salt, the tuna salad sour and the salmon dried out. The same applied to the meat at noon. With a: "finito?" the plates were quickly snatched from the table. Without asking if it was tasty. After paying more than €55 for this lunch, we left and had coffee elsewhere. Younger? Never again!!

Service is very slow when it comes to taking drinks and bringing the menus. The service is not attentive to the guests. Service often spends a long time talking to groups of guests, which means it takes a very long time before you can order. Male operator is very arrogant and arrogant. This comes across as very clever to several guests. Orders are forgotten again and again. The steak had no taste... The only thing nice is the location. So all in all: a very bad experience.

Nice place to eat, food was also perfect but the service is rubbish. We had made a reservation and upon arrival we were congratulated on our wedding anniversary. So far the service has been fine. A table full of sunshine was ready for us. The waitress said to clean our table immediately, I think that still needs to be done. All people who took a seat after us received a clean table. I don't know what we did wrong, but everyone around us got attention, but they skipped us every time. The main course was served quickly after we had finally ordered, but when asked if we wanted something to drink we had to wait an hour (tables around us already had glass 3). After we were finally able to order something to drink, we immediately ordered dessert, which was also served quickly. Since we were ignored more than spoken to, we walked inside to pay. We had a gift voucher, which was quite difficult because it had to be deducted manually from the voucher. The waiter said he couldn't do mental arithmetic, which turned out to be true. Because he gave himself a €10 tip 😬 At the time of paying, a waitress was constantly walking between us, so we had to move aside every time and therefore didn't realize that he really couldn't do math. I wanted to go back but my husband was done with it and wanted to go home quickly. edit: I walked past it while taking a walk in the neighborhood and got the €10 back. In that respect I have adjusted the number of stars. Conclusion: are we going to eat here again? For location and food I say yes, for service I say no.

First the best thing and that is location, 10 out of 5 stars :) Then the bad, we were warned already… Wanted to have some small finger food, but not possible as kitchen is busy. Wasn’t even full and it was around 7:30pm. Ordered drinks, then went inside to pay the bill as the waiters don’t pay any attention. After 1,5 hours, only had 1 drink. So can’t rate the food. Was the first and also the last time there unfortunately.

Here I had the worst experience ever since I can remember. I came here with my wife and two relatives who had come from Italy on Sunday, the weather was nice so we had lunch on the terrace, at least that was the idea if it weren't for the fact that we accidentally sat down at a table at 1:10 PM and at 1:00 PM :35 pm (25 minutes later) a man came to tell us that the table had already been reserved. This could well be because a blue Post-it note had been inconspicuously stuck on it, so we asked where we could sit. Very irritated we were referred to “the white part” where there were tables without a parasol, but there was enough space for a table two meters further, still on “the white part” (there was no barrier or it should be just as inconspicuous have been like the blue Post-it note) so the table was moved two meters. Once we had taken a seat, we saw that other guests had been seated in the suspected VIP section because they were helped unlike us, we were completely ignored but what is the surprise...? We were also sent away from the table where we were sitting by the same very irritated man because we were not allowed to move the table!! Well, no problem, with money in your pocket you can go anywhere, at least in an establishment where guests are still welcome and are not sent away like a dog that comes to dirty your terrace. There will undoubtedly be other, more friendly experiences and to come, but unfortunately I cannot write a better review after what we have just experienced here.

Due to crowds on the terrace and little service, there was a strange atmosphere on the terrace. The service itself wasn't the happiest either, which didn't help. Unfortunately the location is super nice.

Young pier rather dead pier, waited so long for our drinks that we left. If you explain that you are understaffed, there is understanding, communication is key, but they don't understand that.

Fantastic terrace spot. How beautiful do you want it, historical context, incredibly cozy atmosphere and a view over the three rivers point. Two nice men and their female colleague do their friendliest best. 3 course menu for a very reasonable price. Spend more time here this summer....

I ate capriesse salad in many restaurants in Italy, but it was the best salad I ever ate in my life. The sauce and freshness of the ingredients were perfect. Cappuccino and waffle with strawberries are very tasty☺️🌹

Rarely have I eaten such a miserable twelve hours: 3 white factory sandwiches, a sour croquette from the freezer, a small dollop of egg salad and a so-called salad that was drowned in some kind of dressing... only the soup was okay... and that for €17.50 Wouter

What antisocial service, shouting at customers and passers-by. It's difficult if you have a stroller with you because they have to go around it and they don't find that convenient. Coffee can only be served black, because of the crowds they are too overwhelmed to serve a cappuccino. We left quickly, now we went to a decent restaurant where the people were friendly.

We are extremely disappointed with how a negative atmosphere was created because the workload of the staff was too high. We wanted to have a drink and enjoy the view, but ordering a cappuccino was too difficult because of the crowds. The strollers were an eyesore for the staff and they made that clear. Even after other people who passed the aisle were pointed to the side with an angry tone. Overall a negative experience!

The location makes this place. Without the location it would be much less busy here. The waiters do their best, but there are simply not enough staff. You have to wait a long time and they don't come around after you've had your drink. You have to ask yourself if you can get something to drink. And what really disappointed me: we ordered a snack garnish. We thought we were going to get a big bite, but what did we get? Ten or nine fried snacks, plus cheese, sausage and olives. Pfff, we didn't want that at all. We just wanted appetizers! After a lot of waving, someone finally came, and when we indicated that we didn't want this, the answer was: 'Too bad for you, we always do this.' Sorry, but then I'm done with it. If customers indicate something, take it seriously. Do something about it, say sorry or sort it out. We will never come here again.

Hilarious how you are spoken to!

Enjoyed sitting by the water during our Dordrecht city walk. The location is ideally located on the calming water with Zwijndrecht on the other side. The service is smooth, clear and pleasant. I enjoyed this very much. I can imagine that it will become a bit busier once the temperatures rise, but the indoor and outdoor terraces will certainly provide enough peace and space for the influx of day trippers! 😊

Auf einer der schönsten Plätze in Dordrecht haben wir herrlichen Fisch gegessen. Sehr freundliches Personal, zuvorkommend und schnell. Die Aussicht ist grandios, man sieht über den Kanal nach Zwijndrecht und Papendrecht. Der Hafen ist dicht bei. Ein richtiger Anrather, muss man gesehen haben.........Grüsse Saskia und Erwin
