Best food in The Hague and surrounding areas! I've eaten a lot of Surinamese, but nothing is as tasty as here. Super nice place to have a nice meal. Recommended!

Tonight I ordered a nasi chicken leg special. You also get a large bowl of Surinamese nasi, a bowl of stewed chicken leg chopped into four pieces immersed in lots of sauce and one chicken satay. I also ordered a separate bowl of tofu and tempeh. My wife ate the meat with the nasi and I the vegan alternative. My wife and I really enjoyed it. This is the tastiest Surinamese takeaway restaurant in The Hague.

Excellent food, but I think the 'gravy' of the roti is on the thick and heavy side. The business has an authentic appearance and has friendly owners.

When I order roti, I order it here! Everything is always neatly packaged, not that the roti is scattered throughout the bag! Chicken fillet tasty, potatoes soft, long beans tasty! My favorite roti store!

Food fine.. man behind the bar not really friendly. I had to ask for sambal twice and I couldn't catch anyone in the shop smiling. This man was also rude and impatient with a non-Dutch speaking bicycle delivery person... not nice

Cozy cozy restaurant with delicious freshly prepared Surinamese dishes. Always busy during lunch, but if you call and make a reservation or order in advance, it always works out. Also nice for an afternoon/evening dinner and they also cater 🙂

My first visit at a Surinamese restaurant was memorable thanks to this beautiful place. Family-run vibe, excellent service and, of course, great food. They provided suggestions based on what we wanted! Every dish was good. Great price too. Highly recommend!

Went to eat here. Ordered at the table. Food is delicious. Friendly people and fast service. Had a special order of roti with chicken. Egg was tasty, warm roti skin. Nice layout and good portioning. Recommended

Not that good sadly. Roti roll is like 70% potato and flavoring on the meat and veggies is not great. Tastes like they just dumped curry powder on it

It was our first time eating Surinamese food, and we really enjoyed it! The food was tasty and you could add more spiceness to it with the sauces they provided. The personnel was really nice, and they took the time to explain to us the different types of food and drinks.

Nasi met kip is goed gekruid en daarom een klassieke aanrader. Ook hebben de snelle snacks zoals broodje pom een authentieke Surinaamse smaak. Daarnaast zijn de porties groot voor de prijs die je ervoor betaalt. De klantvriendelijk is ook erg hoog. Klanten worden goed en snel geserveerd. Verder is de locatie leuk uitgekozen: er is parkeergelegenheid (zeldzaam in Den Haag) en je wordt ontvangen op een locatie waar het levendig is, maar ook rustig kan eten en een gesprek kan voeren met gezelschap. Tot slot wordt hier ook rekening gehouden met de corona-maatregelen. Onderstaande foto is nasi met kip en saté (3 stuks).

Het eten was heerlijk, de sfeer en service was fijn en snel. Leuke en lieve mensen! Haal hier vaker eten tijdens werktijd.

Heerlijk gegeten en lieve menseb

Prima broodje, smaakte goed. Je moet wel lang wachten door drukte maar ook omdat er achter de balie ook maar 1 oven staat!

Gisteravond met mijn vriend hier gegeten, hele vriendelijke ontvangst, heerlijk eten met een wijn en biertje, snelle hap maar toch een beetje avondje uit!!! Bedankt en tot heel snel weer!!!!Kom speciaal uit zoetermeer en dit is de beste Surinamer in omstreken❤❤

Heeeerlijk echt waar de beste Surinaamse tent waar je kan eten, wij komen helemaal uit Beverwijk om hier te eten. Much love

Fairly good food and reasonable prices haven't yet tried more from the menu, owners seem really kind. More of a mom and pop type shop. Be warned do not come here during the lunch rush as they are very popular with the civil servants in the area. Any other time is golden.

Heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel

Heerlijke roti! Gezellige tuin! Vriendelijke bediening!

Donderdag weer een heerlijke Roti lam afgehaald. Lekker gekruid, vol van smaak en toch niet te pittig. (Stiekem wel een extra kuipje verse madame jeanette besteld). Ze hebben ook banaan chips.

Very tasty and super welcoming nice owners. It's also remarkably clean, spacious, and well designed inside. Very quick and rather inexpensive, but gives a feeling of a proper restaurant.

Broodjes waren echt heerlijk, lekker gevuld en goed vers. De soato soep was vandaag wat lichter qua smaak. Al en al zeker waard om tijdens je lunch een broodje af te halen hier! In de tuin zitten met het warme weer was leuk!

De broodjes zijn goed, wel redelijk prijzig, maarja dat geldt voor alles de laatste tijd...Alleen merk ik bij die man een bepaalde chagrijnige uitstraling van 'moest je per se bij mijn toko een broodje halen?' Weet t niet, gewoon niet zo vriendelijk of blij dat je er bent, maar zo te lezen ben ik niet de enige die dat vind.

Echt heel goed! En super vriendelijke bediening
