The saoto soup was delicious, just as it should be and my husband also liked the roti roll. Small points but otherwise perfect and delicious food. I will definitely come back next time Friendly lady, good service 👍🏻

I have visited many places to eat in the Netherlands, but at RM Manis, Den Haag 🥰, all the food is really highly recommended! Especially the main dish Sweet which tastes amazingly delicious 😭. Best in The Hague!!! Not only the sandwiches, but they also have many other delicious dishes. I have been a regular customer for more than 15 years. Apart from the delicious food, they are such sweet and friendly people. I only get my dishes from Manis toppers anywhere else and definitely recommended.

The Nasi tasted chemical and burnt. It was inedible, simply. The lady behind the counter and the waitress were extremely friendly. But the person who prepared the food/was in the kitchen behaved in an incredibly antisocial, defensive, personally attacked and downright rude manner. And this against a customer who respectfully indicated that the food was substandard. Addition: Then it was not the cook but someone else who works there. It is a shame that you do not recognize your own shocking customer-unfriendly behavior and act as if your nose bleeds. Says a lot about you/that specific person. Good luck to you.

The telo bakkeljauw did not taste good. Chicken curry and saoto sandwich was fine.

Delicious sandwiches. You can sit there or take a walk in the park with your sandwich(s). They open at 12 noon and the place is packed for at least 30 minutes. So keep that in mind if you decide to get food there with a group. You can also order a day in advance; by telephone or email. Then you avoid a long wait around lunchtime. And still delicious food.

Nasi tasted chemical and burnt. Something clearly went wrong while preparing the nasi. It tasted like iron pan. I've eaten a lot of nasi in my life and I'm really not a fussy eater. This was just chemical and not okay. After I very politely passed this on to the staff that it was not edible, I received a very antisocial, rude and defensive answer. The lady felt very personally attacked/had her toes stepped on and was extremely antisocial. Not customer friendly at all or what you would expect from a restaurant. How can you, as a Javanese place, screw up your fried rice so much? And then react extremely antisocially. Unfortunately I couldn't give less than 1 star. I will NEVER come here again. UPDATE on the company's response below: Ridiculous that it is simply said that I wrote the wrong review. My experience is simply dismissed as if I am crazy. BIZARRE. No apologies or anything. Yesterday I stood there discussing with a small antisocial Javanese woman. The bottom line was that they couldn't do anything for me because I 'already took a bite of my food' and advised me to 'pay and never come back'. This response from the restaurant below says enough about how they treat their customers. Extremely antisocial and not open to feedback at all and worst of all they let you suffocate with a dirty nasi plate that tastes like chemical iron pan and don't even look for a solution for you. Judging by the company's reactions to the reviews with few stars, you can only conclude that this store is run by extremely antisocial people and that they do not have an ounce of customer friendliness in them. It's bizarre that this place is still open. I will definitely not recommend you to anyone and you will never see me here again!

I ALSO GOT SOME EXTRA AND THEY WERE TOO TASTY. THIS WILL BECOME MY PERMANENT WARRUNG FOR THE HAGUE... I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS A BETTER ONE TO FIND? THANK YOU FOR THE DELICIOUS FOOD.

Man, this was bad, I got sandwiches there, not normal bread, it seemed more than a week old, bone dry lamb and then €3.15 for a can of coke, you are deeply ashamed of me for theft from customers

We come here regularly to get take-out, more in the past than nowadays. The cordiality and friendliness of the employees is an area for improvement. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the food, you get what you expect. Prices have increased in recent years. When we eat here with our family, it increasingly costs a lot of money. Anyway, I definitely recommend them.

Manis for the tastiest noodles/nasi or saoto soup. Price is okay, atmosphere is cozy. But because it is small it can be very busy in the afternoon.

In de middag om 1400u gebeld om eten 19.45u op te halen ivm werk op de tram, bij aankomst toch nog moeten wachten op het eten. Niet erg lang maar te lang om te laat te vertrekken. Eten was lekker maar belachelijk duur. Prijzen komen niet overeen met de menukaart online. 23,15€ voor een kleine bami kip op bot, kleine sauto en een dawet. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar!

Been a long time ago and now back, what lovely people and excellent food

This is such a nice spot for lunch or dinner, I wish I had discovered it years ago. Small modern eatery with a nice, personal atmosphere, lovely people. Insanely delicious food, the nasi rames special is our favorite, so I order an extra bowl of tempe (divine) and vegetables (deliciously fresh). The gado gado has a delicious satay sauce, nice and thick and tasty. I also find the nasi super tasty, the noodles personally less so. The roti chicken fillet and brown bean chicken fillet are also recommended. Including spekkoek and green sponge cake hmmm. The portions are good, I can usually eat it for 2 days. Prices are normal. And when you pick up everything is packaged very neatly. €46 for 2 people, food for 2 days; 1 roti chicken, 1 nasi rames special large, bowl of tempe, bowl of vegetables, 1 bacon cake and sponge cake. If you really want delicious Surinamese food in a nice place, go here! (And forget Warung Mini, this is 10x better in all areas)

Na lange tijd gegeten bij Manis. Kleine, maar gezellige zaak. Merk wel dat het overal duurder wordt, maar €8,50 voor een sauto en nog €1,- erbij voor een ei vind ik wel te veel van het goede. Nasi kip was wel oke. De nasi mocht van mij iets meer gekruid zijn, maar de portie was wel ruim met 3 stukken vlees en groente. Dawet was wel heerlijk!

Super lekker gegeten! Broodje goed gevuld. Vegetarische nasi en roti kip waren ook heerlijk (goede porties gekregen). We hebben genoten!

Vandaag voor het eerst hier afgehaald. 2x grote Roti Lam kerrie. In een woord TOP. Goede portie, goed op smaak.. Zeker niet voor het laatst (er staat nog veel meer lekkers op de kaart)

Klein knus zaakje met echte Javaanse dames in de keuken. Ik had een kleine sauto en telo besteld. Sauto was prima van smaak, Telo was ook prima. Cassave was luchtig en bros en voldoende bakkeljauw en op smaak. Als ik toch een kritisch punt moet noemen vond ik de porties net aan de kleine kant voor de prijs. Zou ik hier nog een keer gaan eten? Yes Update 12-5 online besteld Bezorging 1e keer online besteld. Bestelling duurde wat langer, maar werd via de app geïnformeerd. Telo en sauto besteld. Beide prima van smaak. Enige minpunt vond ik de grootte van de sauto, deze was echt veel te klein voor de prijs en ook de rijst en soe-on waren in kleine zakjes. Smaak zit wel goed maar hier kunnen ze op verbeteren

Lekker Surinaams eten bami/nasi kip is erg lekker en ook de rotirol valt erg in de smaak.

Hele lekkere saoto voor buitenshuis! De kipsaté was ook heerlijk. Broodje kippen maagjes had wel iets minder smaak.Maar de rest maakte het goed hoor
