Good, friendly, and fast service, delicious lunch. Cozy place with a great atmosphere. The Smashburger wasn't exactly a flat Smashburger, but it was delicious. The naan bread with tender fried chicken was very good, especially with the sour sauce. I'll definitely be back 👌🏽

Variatie van vegetarisch, vis en vlees. Het zijn wat kleinere gerechtjes om te delen. Prima en lekkere gerechtjes. Wij hebben heerlijk buiten op het terras gezeten. Bediening zeer vriendelijk, mijn telefoon was leeg, werd direct meegenomen en in een speciaal kluisje opgeladen. Het nagerecht, nutella, viel echt tegen. Te veel slagroom, te weinig creativiteit en het was gewoon niet lekker. Nagerecht hiervoor te prijzig. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

On a tropical day we sat outside, we were welcomed nicely. And the food, the delicious dishes were absolutely great. But compliments for the young lady in the service who kept her head cool despite this scorching weather and radiated hospitality.😉👍 See you soon.

Voor lunch en borrel geweest met vriendinnen. Fijne overzichtelijke kaart. Bijzonder vriendelijk geholpen ook door jongeman. Prima lokatie midden in centrum.

De bediening duurde lang ondanks dat het niet druk was, de kaart was niet duidelijk qua uitleg; De keuze was beperkt. Geef meer servetten en bestek en wellicht wat opscheplepels als je meerdere gerechtjes bestelt; Dit kan gemakkelijk beter

Just ended up here on the terrace on a sunny Sunday afternoon. A nice view of Deurne with several terraces, cozy! The service is fast and friendly, we were well taken care of. We ordered Mexican Nachos with our drinks, absolutely delicious! Finally nachos with enough structure, so that the bottom layer still has cheese, delicious! Recommended!

Update April 14, 2025: new lunch menu. Have been coming here for a long time and regularly with great pleasure, but this card made me decide to go somewhere else. Very unfortunate, as this is one of my favorite places. Cosy, nice place. Summery/attractive terrace with friendly service. Extensive lunch menu (not very cheap). Update: previous review was in Bakel, now located in Deurne for some time. Tastefully decorated place with a large terrace. Excellent lunch menu, where I always go for the Bao bun rendang. Please keep this delicious dish on the menu 🙂

Super cozy location! During a wonderful spring evening where the doors were open for a long time and the terraces were full, we had a delicious meal with 4th. The shared dinner/tappa's concept is really great. It's not without reason that we gave the chef a tip ;)

Very nice to eat here. Small dishes and possibility to share. Ideal for children. Kitchen staff adjusts a dish when necessary and gives it a nice twist. My son didn't know if he would like the burger sauce so the kitchen gave him a bento box with all the ingredients so he could choose what he put on his burger. Top service!!

We enjoyed a fantastic high tea at Jut&Jul Gastrobar! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: we really lacked nothing and the drinks were perfectly arranged. Not only tea, but also coffee was at our disposal, which was a nice surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The ambiance inside is beautiful and provides a warm, atmospheric experience. In short, we had a great time and absolutely recommend Jut&Jul Gastrobar to anyone looking for quality and hospitality. A great restaurant, with a few minor improvements. The food is good and has a nice concept; you can order from some "smaller dishes" in several rounds, but not in a tapas version but somewhere between normal portion and tapas. Unfortunately, it is just not enough and you actually end up ordering more and the dishes are a bit on the pricey side. In terms of service, it didn't really go smoothly and we were in a cold hole, we sat close to the door. We had better go to the Greek further up.

Nice name Jut & Jul. A new concept with small dishes. It was busy on Friday evening (May 20, 2022). Fortunately there was room in the conservatory. Fast service. The dishes came to the table quickly. Enjoyed the whole evening, had a delicious meal and enjoyed a cocktail and wine. To finish, crème brule (super) and an ice cream. Bill was a bit high. But worth a visit again.

We came for dinner with friends last week. We came in with the friends and immediately thought this is fantastic Gastrobar! We were immediately welcomed and taken to our table. We were helped immediately and the service was very quick and friendly. Jut and Jul has a wide choice of drinks, dinner and also a drinks menu. Dinner was excellent and well taken care of! Well done chefs, hence your round for the chefs! We stayed around for a few drinks, where the music was a little louder, but you could still have a nice chat with each other! All in all, this was a successful evening and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Vandaag hier de 90e verjaardag van mijn moeder gevierd. Het was een hele leuke ervaring! We werden hartelijk ontvangen, het eten was uitgebreid en heerlijk! We hebben gesmuld van alle gerechtje. Mijn moeder werd in het zonnetje gezet wat ze heel erg leuk vond! We hebben een hele fijne avond gehad! Dankjulliewel team van Jut en Jul!

Upon entering Jut & Jul we quickly noticed that the menu was not on the table, so we had to wait at least 15-20 minutes to order drinks. It was nice that we could order our food immediately, but the waiting time of 50 minutes for the main course was a bit long. There were four of us, but we only got three dishes. After calling in a waiter, it turned out that something had gone wrong, and in the end the missing dish did not arrive until later. It was also noticeable that the wrong type of bread was served – brown instead of white. During our visit, waiters regularly came by with drinks that were not intended for us, and once the wrong type of ice tea was brought. When the food finally arrived it was tasty, but it didn't match what we ordered at all. While this wasn't an issue for us, it's definitely something to be aware of, especially if you have allergies. The brownie with coffee was a highlight, really delicious. We did end up getting an extra round of drinks, but one of the coffees had a strange mint flavor in it, which was not nice. Given the previous misunderstandings, we decided to leave it at that and say nothing more. To summarize: the food was tasty, but the service really left much to be desired. We hope that these matters will be better resolved in the future.

Had lunch on the terrace with my colleagues. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and it tasted great. Nice and cozy terrace when you visit Deurne. Parking in the center was free. Nice bonus. We could buy an extra drink for that.

We were able to reserve a spot for two on Wednesday. There are delicious dishes on the menu, so choosing was difficult. The dishes tasted good and I would therefore like to come back more often to eat the other dishes.

A ham and cheese omelet is a good choice.

Good food, nice staff. The loaded sweet potato fries in particular are a must, but the rest is also super delicious!

It is a great (experimental) place for dinner. However, some dishes are really not tasty. Like the nachos, for example. It is more of a vegetable stew than nachos (not indicated on the menu) but the chips are soaked by the moisture from the tomatoes etc. It doesn't look good and it doesn't taste good either. I therefore cannot recommend this place for drinks (if you love nachos) Unfortunately, there are only a few restaurants in Deurne that can make normal nachos dishes and it is therefore a pity that Jut and Jul cannot do it either. :(

Yesterday I went for a bite to eat with my wife. The person is friendly and the location of the restaurant is also nice. The restaurant looks nice and inviting. The drinks menu is excellent, nice range of different beers/cocktails etc. Unfortunately, we both found the food we came for to be poor. The bento box at 16/17 euros was far too expensive for the contents, which also had little taste. We also had the tuna and the salmon, the salmon was fine but nothing special. The tuna was dipped in sesame seeds which was really too much, the wasabi dressing was much too strong and overpowering in the entire dish. Because we had too little confidence in the rest of the dish, we decided to leave it at that. Nice Gastrobar for a drink, but we found the food really disappointing.

It was a warm evening and we had a nice meal on the terrace. We received a menu card with all kinds of small dishes. Tasty but on the expensive side. Staff was very friendly.

Nice original menu and cozy atmosphere! A nice addition to Deurne! The food is also very tasty and varied. Due to the 'sharing' concept, it quickly becomes a bit more expensive, but it's worth it!

Enjoy a drink and a small snack on the terrace of Jut & Jul on a sunny Saturday. Nice table at the large catering square. Unfortunately, the gentleman serving apparently had a very bad day. He really doesn't understand the catering industry and is probably really disappointed that he has to work during the nice weather. Absolutely zero stars for him as a negative star is not possible. Fortunately, there were also waitresses on the terrace who had a smile on their faces and were very friendly. Fortunately, this has turned things around positively.

A bit busier and a bit louder music than in other restaurants on the evening we were there (weekend), but we enjoyed it very much!!! Mix between going out and eating out ;-)

While the food is quite tasty, the selection of food was quite small, and it took a long time for us to receive our food, which is a shame. They have a large collection of cocktails and beer. The atmosphere is fantastic inside, and it is highly recommended to go with a large group. The possibility that everyone at a table can pay separately for their own dishes meant that we did not have to worry about paying.

Beautiful restaurant, cozy atmosphere, but we found the service very slow and we would have liked it to have been faster. The food was tasty, unfortunately I was disappointed with the Rendang, the beef was very dry but the tortelloni was super tasty! Finally, we ordered the dessert tasting, which were nicely served and the desserts were all very tasty. I especially liked the red velvet cake!

On a Tuesday evening with a group of 7 people we had dinner at Jut&Jul. For the first time, the concept here took some getting used to. You choose dishes to combine and/or share. But it is not easy to judge from the menu which dish is or is not suitable for this. So a portion of fries or sweet potato fries has the price of a side dish, but is really a large portion in itself. A number of main courses vary greatly in size. Then the portions are just too small to leave it at one and because we are used to wanting to try more when combining, you run the risk of quickly eating too much or having to pay more than expected for an evening meal. We came to €65 pp including drinks. Service is good, friendly and provides good explanations. Food quality is also good. My advice is not to order too much, so the price-quality ratio is good. If you are very hungry, it is better to go to an all-you-can-eat tent in terms of price. Bonus points for the humor in the language of all texts in Jut&Jul.

The vegetable waffle had a very bland taste and also had burnt pieces. No compensation after reporting this. It also took a long time for drinks and food to be served. This is the 3rd time I have experienced that the food and service here are disappointing. Not recommended for me. Too bad because the atmosphere is nice.

Service was not good. Had to wait a very long time to be helped. The food was disappointing. The vegetable waffle had a bland taste and the Philly steak sandwich was cold. Feedback given to waitress. Was not appreciated. I dismissed it as 'you didn't like it'.

In the middle of the pleasant center of Deurne, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Friendly staff and excellent service. Even the dog was allowed inside. (conservatory)

Ate soup yesterday. Both soups were very salty, unedible. The pea soup may be thick, but this soup was a lumpy mess served in a bowl that was too small. White wine Chardonnay was good.

We waren met een groepje. Eten de smaak was redelijk goed. Eten kon wel wat warmer. Over de prijs kan ik niets zeggen want ik heb niet betaald. Al met al. Het eten was zeker niet slecht maar ook geen topper.

Naast onze geweldig lieve tafelgenoten is onze avond compleet gemaakt met de heerlijke gerechten van JUT&JUL! Een enorme aanrader om daar een avond door te brengen. Je komt niets tekort bij shared dining. Heerlijke gerechtjes die naast dat ze zeer smakelijk zijn ook mooi zijn opgemaakt. De ambiance is vrolijk, hip en gezellig ingericht en de stoelen zitten heerlijk voor een lange avond genieten. Onze avond kon niet meer stuk! Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Voor een lekker drankje met een bittergarnituur een uitstekende plek! De lunch valt daarentegen zwaar tegen. Porties klein en zeer aan de prijs.

Leuke, afwisselende kaart. Perfect om meerdere gerechtjes te combineren. Daarnaast ook altijd een hele leuke sfeer bij Jut en Jul. De eigenaars Roel en Laura zijn heel betrokken en komen indien ze tijd hebben altijd even gezellig een praatje maken. Ook hebben ze een leuke speelhoek voor kinderen, ideaal. Aanrader!!

Wij zijn vandaag voor de eerste keer gaan borrellen bij dit nieuwe restaurant. Wij hadden gereserveerd en bij de opmerkingen vermeld dat dit voor een verjaardag was. Het personeel had daar rekening mee gehouden door vlaggetjes op te hangen en de borrelplak te voorzien van een ijsfontijn. Het eten was lekker en een gevarrieerde kaart qua drinken. Leuke inrichting en sfeer, vriendelijk personeel. Wij komen hier zeker een keer terug!

Lekker gegeten op het terras. Vriendelijk personeel, net sanitair. Enige minpuntje vind ik de prijs. Shared dining principe heel leuk, maar de gerechten en bijgerechten bij elkaar opgeteld maken een etentje al snel wat duurder. Wel prima porties en lekkere dingen op de kaart. Smaak ook prima.

Wat een geweldig plekje, en bijzonder aardige mensen, mijn medefietsers hebben daar HEERLIJK gegeten 😋 Ik was niet in orde en kon niets eten, de eigenaar was zo lief om mijn man en mij naar de auto te brengen, zodat ik naar mijn bedje kon… Wat een fantastische service is dat…CHAPEAU en nogmaals HARTELIJK DANK!

Gisteren hier gegeten. Er hangt een leuk en gezellig sfeertje. Het eten was heerlijk en de presentatie van het eten was ook helemaal top! De bediening was ontzettend aardig. En 100 pluspunten voor de serveerster die ons geholpen heeft vanwege een moeilijke eter en scherp eten dat niet ging. Ze was super behulpzaam en vriendelijk! Ik raad iedereen aan om eens een hapje te eten hier!

Heerlijk gegeten, goed gedronken. Goed advies vanuit de keuken ook op een drukke zaterdagavond. Top!

Reserveren is aan te raden. We waren er op woensdag en het terras zat al redelijk vol. Er worden "kleine" gerechtjes geserveerd, waardoor je zelf een shared dining kunt samenstellen. We hebben voor 3 verschillende gerechten gekozen met friet (moet je apart bestellen) en dat was voor ons (2 personen) meer dan voldoende

Jammer dat ze geen ontbijt serveren .....of vanaf ze open zijn kunnen lunchen.....dat kan pas om 12u
