Käfer in Wijk 00 Centrum

The waiter (older man) was unfriendly and has rude behaviour. The sandwich was ok.

I would like to share the negative experience I had today at your Käfer branch located in the Roermond shopping center. Upon entering the store, I immediately noticed a strong and unpleasant odor. It appeared that both doors had been left open to reduce the smell, suggesting a possible issue with the ventilation system. Additionally, although the “Strudel Deal” — consisting of coffee and apple cake — was advertised both outside and at the counter, I was informed that it was not available when I attempted to order it. When I asked why it was being advertised if it wasn’t being sold, the staff member responded with an inexplicable look. I then decided to order only a coffee, but a fly was found inside the cup. Considering the weather was around 5 degrees, the presence of a fly is quite surprising. When I showed this to the staff member, their response — “it wasn’t there” — was inappropriate and unprofessional. Although the other employee at the counter prepared a new coffee, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. It is surprising and unfortunate to encounter such service standards at a location within a large and prestigious shopping center like Roermond. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed and that measures be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.

Unclean and unfriendly service!

This has nothing to do with gourmet food or German cuisine. The cappuccino tasted of absolutely nothing, the currywurst and the tomato soup (a convenience product?) were okay. However, neither was really hot, which would have been nice given the temperatures both outside and inside. The salmon in the sandwich was good, but there wasn't much of it. The staff was very friendly.

When we arrived, to really nice weather, on a very busy Sunday, the rubbish left by our predecessors was still scattered on the tables. I don't know who to blame for that... you can always return your tablet... fine, but restaurateurs can also clean up, right?! The bottle of water cost €3.80, we didn't get a cup or glass, and no one else cared whether we sat down or not. Self-service... well, that's also the friendliest service there is... 😂🤷‍♂ We were a bit disappointed... but we didn't eat anything, so no rating.

Bad experience, I request big size coffee the salesman give me 2 middle size because no big size available without asking me just it’s much money, then there is offer with the medium size but he refuse to give me since I did not ask for offers … very bad attitude from him and as he force me to buy what he wants .. the black color salesman

You have to work on service and friendliness here otherwise 👌

A shop you really shouldn't leave behind. Not clean! Cheap coffee, not Käfer's! Overwhelmed staff. PLEASE, Mr. Käfer, remove the German Kitchen sign, otherwise people who have never been to Germany will think our kitchens are dirty and our food is bad. THANK YOU

The pin rudely asks for a tip while it is partly self-service

Delicious salads, but extremely unfriendly female waitresses who were annoyed and rolled their eyes when an incorrect booking was made at the checkout. We as customers were allowed to pay 50ct more than the stated price and had our food slapped on the table. The cutlery was partly dirty.

Food quite good, service lousy. A woman thought she was the queen instead of the customer!

Enjoy German cuisine between shopping. The currywurst is delicious with a Kaiser roll. The service is not great and the atmosphere is nothing to write home about. For what you get, the prices are on the high side. On the other hand, you can also expect this in a designer outlet.

A bit of a fast food place and not a lot of seating. There was no cutlery left and I had to request this from the staff.

Don't go here for coffee. Genuinely drank one of the worst cappuccinos in the Netherlands. Very watery and tasteless. Service unfriendly.

This Sunday it was admittedly quite full, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the food and it was below average. In addition, the outside area was not taken into account at all. Paying guests had no chance of getting a seat because outlet visitors used the tables and chairs as a rest area. The tables inside were largely free, but very dirty. The salad I ordered didn't have any dressing and when I asked, they said I hadn't ordered any dressing. Isn't dressing automatically included and if not, why aren't you asked? We were very disappointed and did not expect this from Käfer.

1 star only for the apple strudel. Even this was served on such a tiny plate that you couldn't cut it properly without it falling on the dirty, unwiped table ☠️

Food was good those two young men behind the counter where super helpful

The tables were dirty. The self-service station was filled with dirty dishes. The cutlery was sticky or not replenished at all. The coffee came in a cup but without a saucer. The piece of apple strudel was small and only moderately tasty. This is no longer the high-quality Beetle brand it used to be. What a shame!

If you know the beetle this is a pure disappointment! I thought there was a uniform standard here. The staff was totally overwhelmed. The food wasn't good. And my coffee... It tastes better in the German Beetle. Parking possible for a fee. Daily price. So no matter how long you stay.

The restaurant is in Roermond. It is on the grounds of Mac Artuhr Glen.

The sandwiches looked completely wilted, the employees were unfriendly and very slow. Tables are not cleaned. Kitchen was very dirty. Bad food, bad service!

Food is tasty, but unfortunately the lady is anything but friendly. The gentlemen, on the other hand, are friendly, courteous and polite. Too bad, but certainly something to take into account.

Staff makes no effort. The two of them stand behind the bar dreaming away, while the terrace is left dirty and filthy.

Unfortunately, the employees no longer wanted to make us a sandwich at 5:00 PM. This because they are "almost closing"? closing time is at 8:00 pm? And because they have already cleaned? The employee behind the counter was very rude. We chose not to take anything and eat somewhere else.

What is served here is not representative of the food that is served on average in the country of origin Germany. The same goes for the price! @

Really small portions small seem more like local appetizers (see photo) with very loud music too.

The lady at the cash register only spoke English. Sausages were lukewarm on arrival. Tomato soup was gone...

The employee responded very unkindly, getting angry and saying he was speaking English, even though he could not speak or understand English. Even though I ordered by pointing to the picture 5 times, they got the order wrong and didn't apologize and were very rude. This place made me feel bad from the morning and I don't want to recommend it again.

Kind of what you can expect at an establishment like the outlet. Soggy sandwiches and grumpy staff. Luckily good coffee. A bit on the pricey side for what you get

War ganz lustig hat aber nicht viel mit deutscher Küche zu tun. Der Service war sehr langsam. Das Essen nix wirklich besonderes. Hatte ein bayrisches Hot Dog welches in Bayern keiner kennt. Die Wurst ist teilweise nichtmal warm.

- typische deutsche Speisen sind nicht wirklich gut zubereitet. Das Sauerkraut schmeckt als hätte man es direkt aus dem Fass warm gemacht, ohne es durchzuwaschen, dadurch mega säuerlich. - Preise sind sehr hoch, wäre okay wenn die Qualität stimmen würde Rezensionen gelesen❓ Bitte um Bewertung🙏, diese habe ich FÜR SIE geschrieben!

Een gezellig restaurant waar je heerlijke belegde broodjes kunt nuttige maar ook heerlijke Duitse braadworst op heerlijke broodjes

Ich liebe Käfer aus München..aber dieses mal wird mir in nicht so guter Erinnerung bleiben..weil ich dort den schmalsten Apfelstrudel gegessen habe..und dazu trocken..

Die Servicechefin war bemüht. Der Salat war sehr reichlich. Bratwurst war nicht gut. Das Sandwich mit Lachs war eine Mogelpackung, Da waren 10g Lachs so drapiert das man den Lachs sah aber sonst nur Salat und bissi Frischkäse. Sehr teuer, Innen sehr schmutzig zb. Besteckkiste Gabeln, mit Holzteilen gemischt, wsr nicht ersichtlich ob frisch odef benutz. Obwohl im Outlet an diesem Tag nichts los war.

All food seems quite long kept warm. Fir the quality it's overpriced. For drinks you pay deposit, that you will not get back. If you ask, they tell you, that you can give the bottles back in an supermarket.

De keuze van gebak was te beperkt en het was er niet echt netjes. Er is zeker nog ruimte voor verbetering.
