What a wonderful place and how good it looks here! Nice atmosphere, super friendly staff that varies (you don't have to be in a hurry). Trendy crowd, old, student, everything mixed together. Excellent range, really fine oat cappuccino, with a thick layer of foam. Also vegetarian oyster mushroom croquettes to die for. Very Chil, nice place to work, read etc. I would prefer to keep this place to myself ;)

Food is amazing, coffee is the best I've ever had, and the owner has stolen my heart. Like many places, there is no smoking inside, which I, as a non-smoker, like.

The food is quite good, but often very greasy. The cake is tasty but exceptionally expensive, almost 4 euros for a slice of cake because it is organic is oversized, the slices are getting smaller and smaller, that is simply not possible for that money, even in the city they are not that expensive. The coffee is downright bad, often lukewarm and weak. The owner stubbornly refuses to hang a lamp This hanging lamp is placed in such a way that everyone continuously bumps his or her head against it. The shoulders are shrugged and the argument is: then you just have to watch where you walk. The concept was originally intended for the elderly in the Saffier, but this has changed. They are treated derogatorily and almost looked away. It is now a yuppie tent where screaming children crawling on the ground with their parents and students predominate. The service is friendly but painfully slow. Sitting outside is cozy and has a nice atmosphere.

Extremely lazy and slow staff, not catering skills or assertive at all. I sat there for two hours and they never walked around, cleared tables or served people.

A cafe with a nice atmosphere and located on the ground floor of a large residential complex with a garden in front of it and a beautiful view...its prices are moderate.

Cozy and hidden spot in this old nursing home. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is cozy, but the service keeps the pace of the old people in the building above. Still fun!

Very friendly staff in this super nice place in an old nursing home in Utrecht. When we ate here it was very busy and we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. This was not a problem because this is also the intention of this concept. The two of them were clearly very busy providing everyone with food and drinks. Cozy place with lots of locals!

Nice workplace, nice coffee. Very affordable and you won't be turned away if you don't order anything for a while. I think they also have delicious sandwiches and sweets, etc., I'll try those next time.

Checked the opening hours in advance and went to Kaffeetaria full of anticipation on a beautiful Friday morning. Unfortunately the business is closed! No sign, no explanation unfortunately. Don't worry, I'll make a second attempt shortly. Hopefully I can enjoy the coffee then! Then I will of course also adjust the review. Hopefully see you soon. Very slow service but the food is nice. Coffee is very sour. Disgusting coffee. Not recommended blend.

Great place, but the door must always be open. Even with 7 degrees, even with complaints from guests. The freezing temperatures prevented me from enjoying my visit

I absolutely love the place, atmosphere and what they serve. The only thing that’s absolutely rubbish is the service. I’ve been here several times and time after time I had to wait for atleast 25 minutes for my coffee. Even if it was a regular black coffee, I had to wait way too long. Please do something about this.

Koffietaria is a great little cafe in Utrecht run by women. I love coming here for lunch, to work with laptop, or just to have a cup of coffee. The food is fresh and tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly and attentive. In the summer, there is a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the sun.

If there is one cafe that deserves 5 stars, it is Kaffeetaria. Very friendly people. We were allowed to use their location for filming for free and the staff works hard and with a big smile. Absolutely great!

Hidden by apartment complexes, there lay a cafe with a homey vibe. It feels like entering a neighbourhood living room where everyone comes together. And the coffee is honestly delicious!

Coffee is good. Food: what is ultimately on your plate does not match the description on the menu. Just stick to the cake. Staff: quite rude and inconsiderate. A nice location, that is.

Delicious coffee and nice quiet atmosphere. Spent many hours studying, but also relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet there. It is not a place to quickly order something, but it is a place to relax and slow down or work focused :) Nice employees and tasty vegan options.

I only spent a little time here because I saw an acquaintance of mine sitting on the terrace. So I don't know anything about the menu or the quality of what is offered here. I can say that the terrace with the associated beautiful 'wild' garden is a breath of fresh air and offers a place of tranquility within a somewhat boring 1950s/60s neighborhood. Really worth it to sit down and relax!

Nice coffee shop that is located outside the regular routes and is therefore still unknown to the average Utrecht resident. However, the coffee is tasty and the terrace - where there is usually still room - is located next to a beautiful green garden.

Nicely decorated with all kinds of unusual furniture (shopping carts and a shuffleboard table). The prices are reasonable but the coffee was really undrinkable. The sandwich, on the other hand, was very tasty.

If you are in the neighbourhood this place is worth a visit. A really chill vibe and laidback atmosphere. The espresso and flat white were on the mark.

Far too expensive for what they offer and the ambiance where they are... A small meat sandwich with a "dessert" 3 small pieces of cake for 12 euros is really too expensive, especially for the target group of many elderly people who live here. The service is friendly but painfully slow. The terrace outside is cozy. The home-made cake is always delicious, the cappuccino is often lukewarm.

A side note to my review is that I mainly write reviews about the cappuccino of the places I visit. The 4 stars is based on the total experience and not for the cappuccino. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit trendy or hip. The service is friendly and pleasant and I was helped quickly (take away, I was not sitting at a table, so I have no idea how quickly you will be helped to a table). In the window they still had croissants, butter cake and chocolate rhubarb cake. The apple pie was gone again. I wasn't in an adventurous mood so I opted for the butter cake (I have no idea what rhubarb exactly is or what it tastes like, so I didn't dare try the chocolate rhubarb cake right now). The butter cake seems freshly baked and has a delicious crispy crust. The butter cake is tasty and delicious. My corona kilos go for the extension. I suspect that you can also play a game here based on the display of games, but today the weather is so nice that visitors prefer to simply enjoy the sun on the terrace. The catering industry has just been allowed to open their terraces again for a while and the weather is very nice. However, there are still some tables available. Because Kaffeetaria is not very centrally located or within sight, you may still be able to get a place on the terrace here while the center of Utrecht is packed. Then what I came for, the cappuccino. Because I had seen good reviews and because Kaffeetaria was mentioned in a competition on Facebook in the same breath as my favorite place for cappuccino, Talud 9, I had decided to visit Kaffeetaria. My expectations were therefore high, also because they do have a device that I recognized as a device that baristas (I am not an expert) use to make coffee, so I suspected that it must be possible to get a very good coffee from it. The milk and milk foam layer of the cappuccino was wonderfully full and creamy, but there was only a hint of coffee present. The cappuccino was so rich in milk relative to the coffee that it was more like something you give your kids before bed for a good night's sleep than coffee. Even for someone like me who doesn't necessarily appreciate the bitterness of coffee, this was too mild and the milk was too rich. I won't come back here for the cappuccino, but if you live in the area I would definitely visit there to enjoy the sun on the terrace and try the other snacks and trendy drinks from the refrigerator. Hence 4 stars.

Hidden gem! Super good coffee, very relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and a very chill terrace and adjacent garden. Also a good place to work and end with a drink and a game of air hockey. And for plant geeks you can look forward to seeing them here!

Nice and relaxed coffee lounge, modern and comfortably furnished. Many spacious places to chat or work with nice music in the background. Located next to the entrance of the care home with its own entrance (white sliding doors at the front). Espresso was fine. Recommended for the peace and quiet and the relaxing atmosphere

Lovely atmosphere and ditto coffee

This is an addition to the neighborhood. Nice atmosphere and nice staff. Mega tasty white label coffee. And food! Thick top tent. Plenty of nice seating areas. Sometimes there is also a very sweet French Bulldog walking around.

Nice place with delicious coffee! Definitely going to come back soon to try the food.
