KANEDA Sushi & Bowls Haarlem in Meerwijk

Very unpleasant delivery drivers, and whenever you pay in advance, they always try to rip you off by pretending you haven't paid yet. There were also a few hairs in the food. And all that for 16 euros for 1 pokebowl. Truly bad.

Delicious sushi for a good price and friendly staff on top of that, I will definitely be back!

Picked up sushi today, 10/04/2026. Very friendly staff, both the counter staff and the sushi chefs. They make the best sushi in Haarlem. I have been a loyal customer for years.

After giving birth, my girlfriend spent another night in the Spaarne River, so it was so relaxing to order sushi. Just around the corner from the hospital, it arrived quickly, and it was delicious!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. I always get my sushi here, but I have to be honest, the sushi has really gone downhill lately. The chicken sushi was incredibly dry, and every piece literally fell apart. It happened the last time too, but I thought it was a one-off, but unfortunately...

There was a mistake and the order was delivered to the wrong person. It was frustrating at the time, but thankfully, it was quickly resolved and resolved the next day. I've ordered many times, and the quality of the sushi is always fantastic.

We ordered through Thuisbezorgd. Despite a super busy, stormy evening, it arrived within half an hour. We had a delicious meal. Definitely recommended!

The food was delicious, except for the fact that the sushi fell apart completely. It was impossible to properly separate the sushi. I personally think the rice wasn't twisted tightly enough or something. I also thought it was a shame that my two flamed tuna and salmon came in the same container as my crunchy box...the crunch was all over the container...again, the food was fine, but the presentation was a bit disappointing.

Good sushi! Friendly staff! If something is missing from the order or delivered incorrectly, they always come up with a great solution! We regularly order via the website, where they also have discount promotions every now and then. They also have a savings promotion/savings card, with which you can often choose delicious boxes. The plastic surcharge took some getting used to at first (a small packaging surcharge for each sushi). They are often on time with the pick-up or delivery, depending on how busy it is of course! The best pokebowl & sushi in North Holland that I know. I think they won a host a few years ago and you can really taste that. You can't dine there though. It's really only order and pick up.

Took extremely long to be delivered on a Tuesday evening. Food was also really bad.

Really great! The food was delicious super fresh, well seasoned and nicely presented. Delivery was fast and everything was neatly packed. You can tell they have an eye for quality and service. I will definitely order here more often. Recommended for everyone!

Oishi Sushi Desu, delicious and good sushi. I'd drive a block for it.

First of all, the sushi was delicious. I do have to say, however, that it was cold. I also requested a delivery time of 8:50 PM, which arrived at 9:10 PM, 20 minutes late. I was waiting outside for my order because I wanted to surprise my wife. I also asked to be called when the delivery driver would arrive, but I just managed to stop him from ringing the doorbell. Extremely poor service, even though the food was delicious!

In our opinion, the best sushi delivery in Haarlem. Fresh fish, fresh rice, fresh vegetables!

By far the best sushi place in Haarlem. There is literally no other place that can match their quality. Unfortunately they don't deliver to my zip code (2023), so I drive 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back to get it, but it is definitely worth it. I think they could open a hugely successful second branch in the north to serve the rest of Haarlem via delivery, including my zip code ;)

Wow! Was treated extremely rudely. Ordered two separate rolls, one fish and one meat. They were half crammed into a container so I called to indicate that I am vegetarian and am not used to this. According to her, I had to indicate that I do not eat meat because all fish and meat are always cut with the same knife (cross-contamination with illness lurks). They could not offer a solution for this. Immediately got a huge big mouth from the girl (assistant team leader). Started shouting through me, completely unnecessarily I was snubbed. Then asked for the team leader who turned the whole situation around, clearly in cahoots to not provide service. 5 fewer customers from Schalkwijk because of this smart lady! ——— It is striking that in this response the roles are reversed again. Too bad my experience wasn't taken seriously, especially considering the health risks of cross-contamination. I had hoped for a solution, but instead I was treated rudely. Yelling instead of taking my concerns seriously is not what I call helpful. Cross-contamination is a serious issue, especially for vegetarians or people with allergies. Your lack of a solution could lead to health risks, something I rightly pointed out. It is clear that respect for customers was hard to find in this case. I hope other customers read this experience and are aware of the service they can expect.

It is no longer good, sushi is without character and everything has almost the same taste. Salmon and tuna in sushi are tough and of poor quality. Too bad because Kaneda used to be our favorite restaurant.

When I say sushi I think of Kaneda Here I know that I am not just eating delicious fresh sushi! but that Hygiene plays a very important role here and that is also important to me. And then I shouldn't forget the Poke bowl, the fried shrimp is my favorite, full of flavor 👌 I have to be honest, I'm just disappointed with the times when they close early, I hope they close a little later in the future, otherwise I am a very satisfied customer. I'm a regular customer here!

Blij met de vele keuzes en goede samenstelling in de boxes. Wachttijd viel voor ons heel erg mee. Nog een extra pluim aan onze attente bezorgster: goede service! 😉 Tot gauw

In één woord: geweldig! Heerlijk gegeten, prachtige sushi rolls, en goed verzorgde warme gerechtjes. Niet goedkoop, maar het is iedere euro meer dan waard. De eerste keer voor ons bij Kaneda, maar zeker niet de laatste keer! Bezorging was de fooi meer dan waard. Precies volgens afspraak, bijzonder aardige bezorger, doen ze goed bij Kaneda… Wij zijn fan geworden, tot snel weer! :)

Heerlijke sushi, altijd vers en de pokebowls zijn ook altijd lekker en goed gevuld. Absoluut een aanrader.

Zeer lekker eten, het zag er netjes en goed uit. Ik heb bij veel sushi restaurants gegeten en besteld, maar dit was wel echt een van de beste! Het was gewoon perfect de sushi en het frituur, ze waren bijden overheerlijk!

Zeer lekkere sushi. Heerlijk van genoten, Wasabi was erg mild van smaak. Gelukkig zat er genoeg bij.

Veruit de beste sushi die wij in Haarlem hebben gegeten. Kaneda bezorgt helaas (nog?) niet in Haarlem-Noord, maar we rijden er graag voor op en neer.

Beste Sushi van de Haarlemmermeer! Ik kom altijd helemaal speciaal naar Kaneda toe vanwege hun super verse Sushi & top kwaliteit. De zaak ziet er ook erg verzorgd uit en het personeel is erg vriendelijk. TOP tent!
