Very slow service. Dirty tables, benches, and floors.

I recently ate at KFC Heerlen and was pleasantly surprised 🍗. The chicken was deliciously crispy and well-seasoned, just as you would expect from KFC. The burgers and fries were also hot and flavorful. The staff remained friendly despite the crowds, and the order was processed quickly. The restaurant itself looked neat, and there was plenty of room to sit quietly. Furthermore, the location is easily accessible with ample parking nearby. Of course, it can be a bit busier during peak hours, but overall, the experience was simply very good. It is certainly a nice place if you are in the mood for a quick, tasty meal. I will definitely be back here again 😄

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, the self-service kiosks are very cumbersome to use. Those of the competition are much easier to operate.

Eat-in, ordering took a long time, no atmosphere inside. Chairs were already being placed on the tables at 7:30 PM even though they were supposed to be open until 8:30 PM.

The standard of hygiene at a fast food restaurant is usually not high, but this KFC in Heerlen (IKEA) takes the cake. No toilet paper available; I asked for some, but after waiting 10 minutes, I ended up using some tissues for my son. Not a single 4-person table was cleaned. Drinks and fries everywhere on the floor. Truly disgusting.

The staff are rude, not interested, its like talking to a brick wall. Food is okay if its hot when you get it. 50 minutes wait for chips as everything else sat for 25 minutes 🤦‍♀️

The food tastes as you would expect from a KFC. The service was terrible; much of my order was incorrect, they forgot to add items, and they gave me the wrong bun (I ordered an original but got the spicy one). I also had to wait an incredibly long time (+20 min) before I even received my order, even though there were literally only 4 other customers inside. The person behind the counter was also very unfriendly and even came across as somewhat aggressive. Although someone was eventually cleaning, the restaurant was also quite filthy inside. Lots of food scraps on the floor, tables hadn't been cleaned, and trash was everywhere.

There were still feathers on my wings. Furthermore, a cheeseburger should be a fully covered bun, and not a tiny piece of chicken with virtually no sauce.

I came from Maastricht for the first time today, but was greeted by a completely disrespectful and unfriendly employee who had no idea what respect entailed or how to treat a customer. She spoke in a mocking and tactless manner. The rest of the staff was nice, but this employee clearly hadn't learned what respect meant or how to speak politely to a customer. I demand that the KFC branch manager addresses this situation, as it is scandalous and damaging to the restaurant's reputation. The food, however, was very tasty.

The employee currently behind the counter at the drive-thru (20-03-26 15:30/15:35) looks so suicidal and has absolutely no enthusiasm for her work. Super unfriendly, grumpy, no thank you when I handed over the money, no nice day, no smile, NOTHING. Just suicidal, I am definitely never coming here again !!!

Eaten there at a quiet moment early in the afternoon, but by then everything was already dirty: dirty seating, very dirty toilets. The chicken bucket was very greasy. Not a top KFC.

The staff taking orders speak and understand Dutch poorly. The seating areas are dirty, and you will have to ask them to clean the tables before you sit down. Ordering via the displays is complicated and sometimes doesn't work. I saw people having trouble ordering. I ordered at the counter. You got very few fries, and the chicken was lukewarm.

The food is great, the waiting time is almost non-existent, everywhere is clean and the toilets are fragrant 👌🏻

⚠️ SHOCKING EXPERIENCE – COLD FOOD, EXTREMELY LONG WAIT, AND HYGIENE ISSUES ⚠️ We waited over an hour for our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was completely cold. The staff were rude and seemed totally overwhelmed. The worst part was that there was a dark, hairy, or fibrous structure in the chicken that definitely shouldn't be there. Finding something like that in your food is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. In addition, our order was incorrect and duplicated. We received items we hadn't ordered twice, while other items were missing. We had to piece together our own order from the counter because nothing was organized. I cannot recommend this location to anyone. Long wait times, cold food, hygiene issues, and unprofessional staff. Absolutely disappointing.

Went there today at 8:55 PM. I was helped at the drive-through by a very friendly employee, "Mick." Very pleasant at the drive-through and friendly at the window. Very fast service. Would definitely come back.

A pleasant restaurant that definitely needs some work. But they're definitely making an effort. Sometimes it can take a while, but with the friendly staff, you'll have your food in minutes. It's always delicious.

This is the third time in a short period we've been to KFC Heerlen and there are no milkshakes or ice cream available. The staff isn't very friendly either. It doesn't make for a good day.

Terrible business, unfriendly staff, too lazy to clean up on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 5:55 PM. We placed an order with a reservation for a table, sitting directly across from the counter. At 6:40 PM, still no order. We asked where our order was, and the answer was: the order had been on the counter for 30 minutes. They walked past us at least 10 times without our order. The number was definitely visible. We were told: "Yes, we came by twice with the order, but we couldn't find you. Meanwhile, the staff, including the boy who was serving, had passed by the table and then said: 'We didn't see you,' plus they had made an announcement, which wasn't true either. It's a bit strange when you walk past us 10 times, look at us, then try to brush us off with a big mouth and then try to give us cold food. We didn't accept this. There were 4 people behind the counter and they thought we would fall for it, luckily there was one person who said: 'We'll make it again, after our opinion, they have the 2 They gave us new hot wings and just shoved our three wraps back in the grill. Worthless for an order over 50 euros. But the worst part is, I walk outside with my container. My partner quickly brings me the key, turns around to grab our second container and clear the table. And guess what, a dark-skinned woman who was standing behind the counter with the four people threw everything away, including a full container of hot wings, in three seconds, and didn't even apologize or give us a new container. You should be ashamed of yourselves because their education was lacking, and the last word on this hasn't been said yet. We're going to continue this. So people, save your money and eat somewhere else because this place is just disgusting.

The food was very tasty, even if everything tastes kind of the same. It's basically just chicken in different variations, after all. 😄 Considering I only eat at KFC once or twice a year, it was very good. The wait was quite long. The interior was very nice, much better than at certain other fast-food chains.

Only KFC ever. The restaurant was almost empty, only two tables were occupied out of the entire restaurant. The food was dried out and not even properly (re)heated. The tables were all dirty. I cleaned the table myself with napkins. I waited just under an hour for the food. It looked like it had been microwaved. Poor service.

I've now visited this KFC Heerlen branch (near IKEA) twice, over a year apart. Unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. During my most recent visit, about a week ago, the restaurant wasn't full. There were plenty of delivery orders, but you can still expect a reasonable wait time at a fast-food restaurant. My order took over 40 minutes, and in total, I stood in the restaurant for about 50 minutes without receiving my food. I finally asked for a refund. Only then was the manager called. I hadn't seen him in all that time. No explanation was asked, no eye contact was made; the money was returned without further communication. That's a shame, because KFC used to be known for good products and a pleasant experience. However, the extremely long wait times and the lack of customer focus make it difficult to enjoy that experience.

I just ordered the Family Deal for 2 and didn't get the 2 medium fries that came with it. Driving back isn't an option either, because the food is already half cold. The staff is often too incompetent to deliver a complete order; it's better to check first, even if it's busy behind you.

Very bad food, cold chicken, cold fries, hamburger with hardly any toppings, fun for the kids to play, ice cream with sauce, (see photo) and the worst part is that they use old frying fat.

I had to wait over 45 minutes for my order after asking the counter several times. If the order couldn't be delivered, I wanted a refund, and then suddenly it arrived. There also seemed to be a gnawed-off piece of bone in my fries, which was disgusting. It really ruined my appetite. It's also this particular branch that's regularly so terribly bad. If the head office is reading this, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

Over half of the ordering terminals were broken. You have to wait longer for your order than in a good restaurant. Completely overwhelmed – if you have to wait forever for fast food, you might as well go somewhere else.

I just placed an order for myself and my heavily pregnant wife, intending to receive a meal quickly. Despite the extra charge for priority delivery, after waiting an hour, I received a message that the order had been canceled.

No words. Boneless box large = 3 small raw chicken pieces and 3 x something nugget-like, also delicious raw. Plus points: the mayo and water were good.

I came with my friend we ordered at the same I came with my friend, and we ordered the same thing at the same time. I even ordered a few minutes before her, but she got her order faster than me. I waited for 40 minutes and still didn’t get mine. When I went to the cashier and said that I had been waiting for my food for 40 minutes, the woman said something rude to me in another language and didn’t even apologize.

Always fast service and friendly staff, even during peak hours. My order was correct, the fries were nice and crispy, and the burger was nice and hot. Tables were cleared quickly, and the music was at a comfortable volume. Restrooms were clean, which is rare in fast-food restaurants. It's also convenient that there's plenty of parking. Everything is organized neatly and efficiently, exactly what you'd expect from such a chain.

The tables are all filthy. You have to go get someone to clean them. Hygiene is a real issue. Reusable cups aren't washed properly either, resulting in nasty cold sores! What a mess!
