It’s a right mess in there. There are food scraps on the floor, on the tables and on the chairs. Even the area where the food is prepared is littered with food scraps. Burgers are prepared on a piece of paper, but wraps are made straight on top of the food scraps. It took 25 minutes for the ice cream and biscuits we’d ordered to be "served". The ice cream was ready after 20 minutes, and after 25 minutes it turned out that they’d run out of biscuits (and the ice cream was half melted).

4 years ago I left a review saying that the food takes an incredibly long time. Now, 4 years later, I have already been waiting 25(!!!!!!) minutes for 1 (ONE) milkshake. The staff is unfriendly and does not speak Dutch. Please do not go here.

First I had to wait 20 minutes for a burger, the food was cold, the staff super slow, as if it was all too much for them.

We normally come here often, but when you entered it smelled of chlorine, which is not very pleasant. The numbers for being served at the table were all gone. The soap and hand towels in the restroom were gone. In short, a bad experience. Next time we'll go somewhere else.

Slow it takes 1h for your order

The order took very long even though we were the only customers inside. The chicken was really old. And it sounded as if they were just hanging out in there while taking so much time.

Worst KFC ever. The people who work here should be ashamed. Certainly not all of them, but there are definitely a few among them. You should start keeping an eye on them, because they don't know what hygienic working practices are. Yuck! Never again. Unfortunately, I can't give 0 stars, but it's worth even -100.

★☆☆☆☆ Last Sunday, several of us went to KFC Kerkrade. Unfortunately, this visit was also a huge disappointment. Upon entering, it was immediately apparent that the restaurant as a whole did not give a well-maintained impression. The restrooms, however, were particularly appalling. Both the women's and men's restrooms were extremely dirty. Urine on the floor, filthy sinks, toilet paper lying around, and an intense, unpleasant odor made using the restroom almost unbearable. In addition, toilet paper, soap, and paper towels were sometimes completely missing. The food service was equally disastrous. Despite a manageable number of guests, we had to wait an unusually long time for our order. The food was already lukewarm when it arrived and appeared to have been prepared without any care. The reusable cups also smelled strongly of chemicals or residue from previous drinks – something that should not happen in a restaurant. Unfortunately, complaining was nearly impossible, as communication with the staff was extremely difficult. Neither Dutch, English, nor German could be spoken adequately, making it virtually impossible to point out the obvious deficiencies. What's particularly disappointing is that this apparently isn't an isolated incident. While people don't expect fine dining at a fast-food chain, basic hygiene, clean restrooms, and hot food should be a given. This was definitely our last visit to this KFC. It's a real shame – but under these circumstances, we can't recommend the restaurant.

Went there yesterday with friends. It was very tasty and the service was great.

It is a disaster. I am normally not one for reviews, but there is absolutely no structure whatsoever in this company. An owner should order something here sometime. I won't waste any more words on it. After me, two more families walked away because they were aware of it too.

Scandalous! Having to wait 55 minutes for the food at KFC. I have never experienced this in a fast food restaurant!!! Shame on you.

Even when it's quiet, it takes an abnormally long time to get your order here. Last yee, we had to wait almost an hour for our order, even though the restaurant and the drive-through were practically empty. We've been three times now, and all three times they forgot something from the order. Once we even got a chicken burger without chicken?!....

The staff are practically falling asleep! I waited 35 minutes for my food! An absolute disaster!

After 30 minutes, you have to figure out for yourself that they can't make fries. When you then want to inquire, you get a rude response from a member of staff. And the manager speaks three words of Dutch... and doesn't get it either. Not a recipe for success with the staff there. Politeness is allowed. And don't tell the customer: you have to listen.... Eventually, after waiting even longer, we just cancelled everything.....

Maybe the worst KFC ever. Time and time again, we fall for it. Had to wait an hour again today. Evening at the cinema ruined. Drive past this KFC! I’m going to do that from now on too!

What can I say about this? The fact that KFC has declined over the years is a long-standing problem. But the KFC here in Heerlen just can't seem to manage delivering an order correctly. Ordered three times and returned three times. It is not the staff's fault; they are under immense pressure. The location was perfect. Plenty of parking spaces. However, the hygiene in the restaurant could use some attention. Long wait times. Twice, we waited more than an hour for an order there. Very pricey for what you get. It was quiet in the restaurant. As a result, the order was quick and there was plenty of room to sit.

I had placed an order and the screen showed that my order was “ready for pick up”. I walked over and the employee immediately reacted angrily, saying that it was not ready yet. Rude and scandalous staff.

I get completely ignored at the counter when I want to order something, so I go to McDonald's where I can speak to an employee within 20 seconds and place my special order. I won't be coming to this KFC again.

The staff (lady) behind the counter wasn't very friendly. She didn't seem to be interested; the branch manager was sitting at a table with her laptop and couldn't even greet me when I walked by. There were hardly any customers, so it wasn't due to the crowds. Next time, I'll give it a wide berth.

Ordering took a long time, even though there was hardly anyone there. The fries were only half-cooked, and the chicken was also half-raw on the inside. The portions were also really small. The packets of mayonnaise were impossible to open. The cola was full of mini ice cubes, making it almost undrinkable and leaving your upper lip frozen. The toilets were not super clean, but not dirty either.

KFC... that immediately makes me think of chicken. Having a nice time at KFC with my friends (that's why the atmosphere gets 5 stars). All my friends got their food fairly quickly, but my order took quite a bit longer. After 20 minutes, I finally went to ask. They were out of chicken! They didn't mention anything to me and just made me wait. Scandalous!

Had to wait a little longer for the order, but that wasn't a problem as all the products were deliciously hot, which means they hadn't been sitting there waiting to be sold for a while.

It is a shame I can't give 0 stars, because they don't deserve them. Ordered food for 50 euros, which is ridiculous in itself, but oh well, that's just how it is. Having it delivered because there was no other option at the time meant the food wasn't even complete. My friend had everything and I was missing my burger and fries. And seriously, that is exactly the most important thing. You call and you get a manager in a mock state on the phone. Doesn't start with "Hi," no "Good evening," no, she answers with "yes." What kind of service is this? Explained that I was simply missing a whole burger and fries; yes, she couldn't do anything about it, the only option was to come to their place and they would see what they could do, or I would be written in a book, BUT then I had to come by within 1 week. I didn't pay for shipping for nothing, but oh well, apparently she couldn't do anything else for me. Now I just had to share the food that evening, which was cold and not worth the money. Spent 50 euros on half a meal that was cold afterwards too. NEVER AGAIN!

We ordered food for 50 euros, and once it was delivered, we discovered that half of it was missing. After this, we called and got some manager on the line who was in training; not a hello or anything came out of it. On the phone, we were treated as if we were the ones trying to get something extra out of it. Terrible service and a very bad manager; as a branch manager, you should be ashamed of the service you provide to your customers. The whole atmosphere was gone; bad service. I would never order or eat here again. Unfortunately, you can't leave 0 stars.

They don't understand a single language. I don't understand how they work there. Preferably no stars. My order is always wrong.

Service was a bit slow on this Ascension Day.

The staff is incredibly unfriendly. They barely speak Dutch either, so you just get something different from what you ordered. If you confront the staff about this, they even claim you are lying, even though you can easily prove it. Then they suddenly start walking for you, but with their faces on their knees.

It is what you expect from a KFC, only the staff is very unfriendly. And there were hardly any customers, I think 2 people in front of me, and I literally had to wait 30 minutes for my food.

The size of the chicken pieces does not match the photos, the service is inattentive, and the quality is below normal for a KFC. Small portions of fries.

Best KFC Ive eaten since I left Saudi Arabia. Very spacious eating area, and despite the large number of orders, the service was very quick. The chicken and corn were very flavourful.

0 stars, First of all, we waited half an hour for our food; a drink accidentally spilled on my grandma, and when we asked for a cloth, she was very rude. We didn't get the cloth, and when we asked for two after 8 minutes, the employee said, "Yeah, you just have to ask normally." We didn't get a cloth. When we left, she and a colleague started laughing at us completely. DO NOT GO THERE!

There is an older African worker who is extremely rude, lacks manners with visitors, is harsh in her behavior, and gives suspicious looks. But the place is nice.

Ordered from the kiosk and felt the food was prepared rather slowly considering it was not busy at all. Otherwise the food was good and the dining area was quiet.

You always have to check your order here. Now, for the umpteenth time, I didn't receive something with my order, and that for a very small order. Very disappointing.

Massive staffing. We had been finished for ages before the last person finally received their food (after 22 minutes). There is absolutely no structure in the organization. A disaster.

6 cars ahead of me via the drive-thru, and I waited well over 30 minutes for my order. McDonald's handles 6 cars within 5 minutes. Dramatic at this KFC; next time I'll drive a bit further to Heerlen Woonboulevard.

Even fast food quality is declining. Often, you can just tell by the employees that they don't feel like being at work. The atmosphere in these places is ruined. You have to make it enjoyable yourself.

This place is so dramatically bad. Unfriendly staff and you don't get your food until 40 minutes later, even in an EMPTY place. The lettuce on the burgers is usually brown and the fries are cold. I also found the cause of the cold fries, because 3 staff members looked at my tray a few times and calmly walked on, even though everything they needed for the order was right in front of them. My recommendation: go to the McDonald's 5 minutes away instead ❤️

I'd love to give it 0 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible. Ordering was a nightmare in itself, as Dutch and English were barely understood. The result: incorrect orders and several items missing. We had to return everything and reorder. Once home, the order was still incomplete. After 45 minutes of waiting, and being incredibly hungry, we gave up and went to eat. Unfortunately, the food was also seriously subpar. Everything was cold, the fries were limp and rubbery, the chicken was cold and even pink inside, and the soda was completely fizzy. In short: the service, the staff, and the food and drinks were all downright terrible. Once, but never again.

Quickly helped by the dark woman, very friendly and helped me with my choice, I didn't know what to get, opted for a burger that was spicy.

Wow, what a wonderful experience at KFC! The chicken was honestly the best I've had in a long time, perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was also top-notch! Friendly and fast. Definitely recommended for anyone craving a delicious meal! I'll definitely be back soon.

Waiting way too long in the drive

I'd love to get a big fat zero everywhere! Let's start with the parking lot. Roda is playing great, great fun, isn't there a need for customer parking spaces?! Everything is packed, no room... so after driving around like a scumbag, you just stand in a corner because there's no room. When you walk to the door, you're not allowed back in. 8:30 PM and I REPEAT 8:30 PM, it closes at 9:00 PM. Specially done for the competition, you're welcome!

As an American living in the Netherlands, I would like to let KFC corporate, the staff of this restaurant 495 and potential customers know that I had the best customer service (friendly, courteous and fast) and the freshest, hottest (temperature) (that's a good thing) and tastiest food I've had at a KFC establishment! I had lunch, ten chicken tenders and a Cinnamon bun shake. The chicken was hot, juicy and tender as it should be. The shake was surprisingly tasty too! I spoke with the staff today and I was very impressed by the courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism of each of them! Those on duty were: Martin, Eugenie, Vladimir, Mohammed, Mutaz, Andries and Diana. This is exactly how every restaurant should be. I hope my review will be seen by those in management who will give well deserved recognition to each and every one of these fine employees. Thank you everyone for serving me today! I was there with my grandparents, the atmosphere was bad, not helpful, the food was terrible, everything was burnt. We ordered a box and it was the wrong one again, as always, and they don't respond if you say something about it, don't go there again, everything is also dirty, terrible, 1 star or a 0 zero 😡😡😡🤢😭

I'd love to give it a 0-0, but unfortunately that's not possible. Bad staff, bad cold chicken, burnt fries. And when you show the bucket (with four small legs and a burnt mini wing) to the staff, they say, "So what?" In short, DISGRACEFUL!! And that costs €37.00.

There were youth who were being annoying

After waiting for over 15 minutes and not receiving any food, I requested a refund. It wasn't busy, and every customer after me (three or four) received their food. Standard procedure at this KFC is that after placing your order, you're sent away and have to wait for someone to bring your food. It's no wonder this KFC location has received such bad reviews. It's a disgrace to KFC Netherlands that this restaurant is so poorly managed. I called and requested a refund, but the woman who claimed to be the franchisee refused to transfer it. So, the only way to get it back is through KFC Netherlands. Customers here, just like me, regularly freak out about how things are run here.

Mediocre staff and a bland space

Amazing ❤ I am grateful 🙏 Hmm 🤔 ... veggie food was pretty good. There was an issue with the touch screen, as I had issues getting it to work for some reason. Waited a bit longer than other numbers that were later than mine, could be due to the type of a request. Too bad there's no option to get rid of the ice from the drinks. Otherwise, the people working there are the heroes.

The best place to order "fast" food if you want to wait at least 30 minutes

Sit down for a moment. KFC IT guy, take note. I'm a vegetarian. KFC's vegan chicken is quite tasty. Communication is a bit of a challenge, though: I've ordered in-store a few times, and it doesn't always go smoothly. That's why I wanted to try online. First, I tried downloading the app on my Android phone and then creating an account. The first thing I did was scroll back to 1966, month after month. I ended up stopping at 1996; it's not relevant anyway. Then I have to enter my phone number. No matter what I try—0031, 31, +31, clicking the flag, 06 or 6, and any combination thereof—I keep getting a message that the format is incorrect. Entering a phone number is mandatory, so I couldn't get through in the end. Then I booted up the laptop and ordered from KFC. This was easier (now I could actually enter my phone number). "Pay in store" would have been a nice addition. I quickly took a screenshot and texted it to myself. That's a good thing, because I didn't receive any further feedback from KFC via WhatsApp about whether they were preparing it or whether it was ready. Once I got to the restaurant, it took me a while to realize that the number on the sign matched my order number, but that there were four more digits after it that represented some kind of internal serial number. Then I noticed that other, higher serial numbers were ready much faster. This was initially because my order apparently needed longer to heat up (I asked). Then they told me that the vegetarian chicken salad I'd ordered was out (isn't the inventory linked to the ordering system?). They made me a different salad with the vegan chicken in it. Thanks for the help, but it tasted rather bland, with far too little dressing for the amount of lettuce. I also ordered Korean and regular BBQ sauce online, and received two regular sauces. The medium fries are actually quite small and a bit salty. Those were the negative comments. As mentioned, the vegan chicken strips are quite tasty, as is the corn. My non-vegetarian wife enjoyed another bucket of Original.

The service is unfriendly. They're unhelpful, and the coupons don't work. The manager is a real idiot. Terribly poor customer service. I'll never come back here.

Keep away from here if you have any other choice! Never again. 1. Environment: The toilet had once no water and full of faeces. It stank terribly everywhere. 2. Food: Much less choices than any other KFC. 3. Service: I spent nearly 40 Euro and wanted just one more wood fork. No way.

Received the wrong box, there were three pieces too few in the staff, they were running around with their heads under their arms, half of them did nothing, it took almost 40 minutes before I got my food, the coke had more ice in it than coke and we won't even talk about the price anymore, you can almost buy 2 grilled chickens of 1200 grams each for that, in a word, worthless

Terrible Service. Ordered online and prepaid. Arrived at the location and it's closed 1.5hrs before closing time. No helpd to the question how I will get my money back, because the app says "order completed". Just annoyed looks and acting as if I am stupid.
