Filthiest KFC branch! Closed twice last year due to mice and rats. Don't eat there, you have been warned.

I just saw an employee drop a burger on the floor and put it back on the tray. The general cleanliness of the restaurant is filthy, and employees seem reluctant to help you. I have also had better food quality at other KFCs.

Mice and rats run around everywhere here, very unhygienic and dirty. There is food lying everywhere for those mice and rats, truly disgusting, and if you say something about it, they don't understand you either. No English either. This is bizarre, I am never coming here again!! And then the *food* is unbearable, that's why almost everyone leaves the food untouched.

It takes a really long time before you get your food. Additionally, the waitress has never learned to lift her feet; she cross-country skis through the restaurant in her sneakers. We are still waiting for food, so I cannot give a review about that. Update 03-06-2026: the cross-country skiing lady hasn't noticed any consequences from this review; she still works there.

This is the second time we’ve found hair in our chicken wings. One of them even looked like it had been picked up off the floor… I absolutely do not recommend coming here… see photos. Where is the meat in this burger? 🤣🤣🤣 You are worse than back home in the Czech Republic. And we even had a huge scandal with rotten meat over there…. 🤣🤣🤣

KFC was the first branch in our neighborhood, the Old North of Rotterdam. It was great and affordable! Nowadays it's way too expensive, lower quality, and worse service. This applies to most branches!

Bad KFC restaurant. The food tasted good and was nice and hot, though. The service was terrible; we received our order and more than half of it was missing; no one at the counter speaks a word of Dutch and the staff make no effort to understand and help the customer. There were many dirty tables and dirty chairs, and not a cleaner to be seen anywhere.

I have never waited so long in a drive-thru.

I've been via the Drive Thru 20 times, and they have never packed my best-selling items properly and completely – they always forget something.

Order went through without receiving any receipt from the kiosk. I talked to the employee they said it’s okay but while getting my order same employee kept on saying show me ur receipt it was a rude and he kept on asking even tho I explained him that kiosk is out of receipt paper and I told him my order number and also the tables were overal dirty as well as the floor

I would like to file a complaint regarding my order at KFC. I clearly placed my order via the screen: hot wings and loaded fries WITHOUT bacon. This is also clearly stated on the receipt. However, I received my food with bacon on it. Because I was already on my way, I only noticed this later. This is very disappointing, especially since I explicitly ordered without bacon. Moreover, this is not the first time my order has been prepared incorrectly. I expect more care and attention for customer orders. I would like this to be taken seriously so that it does not happen again in the future.

The service is downright disastrous. They don't speak Dutch and touch the food with dirty hands. It makes you sick.

Only come here to gather for a motorcycle trip or as a pick-up point for work. Parking space is less available due to the electricity poles. Also, a wreck has been standing there for quite some time again, taking up the spot.

Received raw chicken and did not receive a refund afterwards either. I am going to discuss this with my lawyer; totally unacceptable.

Pure chaos, huge backlogs in orders

We stopped here as a stopover on our way. What we wanted to order was: 4 crispy tenders, 2 small fries, and a boneless bucket. We were told that there were no small fries, only medium. Strange, but okay, go ahead then... After that, we were asked what we wanted with the boneless combo, but we only wanted the bucket and no drinks. Then we were told that you couldn't buy the boneless bucket separately without the combo and that it would then be the same as 10 crispy tenders. We thought that wasn't right, but anyway, we don't work at KFC, so it must be true. In the end, we received a bucket with 10 crispy tenders, and the medium fries were really such small bags with so little filling that it just looked like 2 small fries. (That is also what we initially wanted for fries, but when ordering, we were told they weren't available. In that case, I just expect to get 2 medium fries if I'm paying for it.) What we suspected turned out to be true: 10 crispy tenders are not the same as a boneless bucket, because we didn't get any filet bites with them. Apparently, those can be ordered separately, but we weren't offered or told that. Even though the staff clearly knew what we actually wanted to order. Not everyone knows the entire menu and how everything works at KFC. A little more thinking along or explaining/offering would have been appreciated. And then there is something else that isn't specific to this branch but to KFC in general: the sauce packets are truly terrible to open. The tear-off edge doesn't work at all, and even if it tears a little, you still can't get the sauce out. You basically just need scissors... All in all, it was not a good experience, mainly due to the lack of clarity and the lack of thinking along from the staff.

That's really bad.. 6:00 PM and already no corn.. Dirty tables, very busy.... Nowhere a screen where you can see the numbers go by so you're standing on top of each other at the counter .. put some more staff on a Saturday!

What a slow affair eating inside. Most of the staff probably skipped a friendliness course. Whereas other fast food chains bring your order to your table at a self-service counter, here it is an ever-growing gathering of customers between the self-service machines waiting for someone to blab out their order number. Two stars for the atmosphere for that one employee who was actually helpful and friendly.

Even if it is not busy, the wait is still very long. The staff is very uninterested.

I ate here on a Thursday evening with one other person. The food was fine, just like at KFC. However, the staff was not friendly, the bacon was sold out, and the toilets were filthy.

Great experience at KFC! The fried chicken was crispy, flavorful, and served hot, while the staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely a solid 5-star fast food spot.

When ordering at the kiosk, you are given the option of table service, but you cannot pick up a table number anywhere. When you then have to collect your order, your number is called out in English, grumpily and with a heavy Indian accent. If you don't respond immediately because you don't understand it right away, your number is called out louder and even more grumpily. The loaded fries are not loaded, the topping is meager, and when the packet of fries sauce won't open as well, that's it for me....

We had takeaway food and they forgot the dressing for the salad and we didn't get a fork, so we had to eat the salad without any dressing and by hand.🤨Also the burgers had little to none sauce and a tiny bit of cheese. That was a rip-off

Dirty tables even though the place was practically empty, clutter on the floor, and, most notably: no table service. Strange, because when you order at the kiosk, you can select table service. Choose a number and your order will be delivered. There were no numbered signs, so I chose number 15 myself and paid. "Please leave your receipt on the table," the screen displayed. X minutes later, I heard shouting at the counter: number one fife. It took me a while to realize what was happening, because I wasn't expecting to pick up my order, but because it was yelled repeatedly, it stood out. I definitely heard my number, walked to the counter in surprise, and there stood my order. She looked at me irritably, to which I replied that I had table service. She clearly didn't speak Dutch and snapped: "We don't do that," to which I replied that I could just click that option and therefore didn't expect to have to pick it up, which is why I didn't respond. She didn't even hear half of what I said; she snapped after it again, 'we don't do that here,' and had already turned around and walked right away, to which I replied that they should adjust their system then, but that interested her even less. All in all, a stupid experience and unfortunately not the first with a KFC. It seems that in all the KFC stores I've been to, there is only tough-guy staff walking around who are way too busy with each other acting nice, friendly, and tough, while the customer gets to watch the spectacle. Very peculiar; KFC is really going downhill!

Today I thought I'd get a nice takeaway menu and a cheeseburger here. Man, has the quality of KFC really gone downhill? It's inedible. I think the cheeseburger bun was already a few days old. I also had a 3-piece meal. This food was already cold when I got home 10 minutes later. 3 pieces of chicken? No, the box contained only 1 larger piece of chicken and 2 very small, skinny legs. And apparently, the nice fresh coleslaw is suddenly no longer an option either, so you can choose a nasty sweet corn on the cob as a substitute. Yuck. And then they dare to charge the exorbitant price of 15 euros. Never again, and for me, this is the last time. I won't let myself be ripped off again and will get some nice hot Chinese food next time!!

Worst KFC I've ever been to. Had to wait half an hour and still received half an order. The promise to bring the missing portion to the table wasn't kept either. Cleaning could also be better; the floor is sticky.

But when the sauce is also taken away from you by a service employee who would rather empty the litter box than speak to you, you know it's bad. The food was okay. We had just returned from vacation, but it felt like we were still abroad. The staff speaks almost exclusively English, which can be very frustrating when trying to pronounce the numbers on your receipt. Furthermore, even though you're eating there, you have to wait at the counter. There are no signs so you can wait while seated. Because of this, some of my family was sitting and some were standing at the counter. Very annoying.

Unbelievably bad. The people who work here are still too stupid to give a damn. Years ago, there was already a drama with staff and orders. It's EVEN worse. They don't understand the difference between a chicken burger and a chicken leg. The staff doesn't speak a word of Dutch. NO English either. Apparently, it comes straight from Pakistan. So you don't get what you order. And it takes 5 minutes to explain it.

This place truly delivers! A cool guy with a cap can't handle pressure when it's busy! He starts talking rudely to customers, and when you order at a counter and choose to eat inside, you get everything in a takeaway bag. So how? They hire staff with a level below 3 rating, terrible!!! The manager must be a (beep) too, because it reflects on the staff. A place to avoid! Too bad, because the location is otherwise excellent.

I found the food at this KFC to be of reasonable quality. However, the wait time for my order was rather long. The service station, stocked with napkins, salt, pepper, and other supplies, was completely empty. There was only one napkin on the tray, and no moist towelette was provided, which is usually the norm at KFC. For a moment, you might think there was table service, but the corresponding number plates were gone everywhere. The cashier's tone was unprofessional. They didn't seem presentable compared to, say, McDonald's. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained.

It's definitely improved compared to six months ago. Hot wings are usually nice and hot straight from the oil, but those 11 herbs are sometimes hit or miss.

Not a word of Dutch is spoken, and the employees are incredibly lazy. Receipts don't come out of any machine, and when you ask about them, the employees (if you're even helped at all; I've seen several people walk away after waiting fifteen minutes) shrug their shoulders and give you an angry look as if it's YOUR fault. Furthermore, the bread could give someone a spinal cord injury, and the fries are softer than a paper straw after 15 minutes of soaking in your drink. It's conveniently located right next to the highway. A real nightmare.

I often get home late from work. This KFC is nearby.😁 Yes, it's really good, but it comes with a hefty price tag. It's a bummer that the food is never really hot. Lukewarm chicken pieces are definitely not as tasty.

In my opinion, the restaurant looked dirty. When you go to pay, you're asked if you want your food delivered to your table by entering the plate number. Then, this location has removed all the plates, so you can't be served, but the option is still there. So, when I ask why the plates were removed, I get no sensible answer. It's a matter of principle, not just remove the option from the screens! But no, after almost a year of eating KFC, this will be my last time at this location.

Ordering at the kiosk works fine. Table delivery is no longer offered, and the numbered signs for that have been removed. This is, however, indicated on the kiosk. The loaded fries were dumped into the box. Everything was stuck to one side. No fork was provided, so you have to pick the box empty with your hands. It was lukewarm, too. There were very few fries in the box. The chicken burger was old and not warm. The floor was sticky throughout the restaurant. No more wet wipes after having to eat the chicken and everything else with your hands. The staff doesn't speak Dutch. We won't be going there again.

Always a delicious and quick meal at KFC Rijswijk. The chicken is deliciously crispy and well-seasoned. The staff was friendly, and I was served quickly. The Zinger burger remains my favorite, and the Hot Wings were also fresh and nice and hot. The location was clean and there was plenty of seating. Definitely recommended if you're craving fast food!

I just ordered food at the drive-thru. First, at checkout, the staff didn't even open the window to greet me properly. I don't need a full welcome, but a hello wouldn't hurt. While she had the window closed, she simply turned on the ATM (which is now outside) without looking at me. I thought, "Fine, I'll pay," but I hadn't even made eye contact yet. After paying, she didn't even give me the receipt. After waiting a few seconds for my receipt, I got irritated and simply drove to the next window. When I arrived at the next window, my food was brought out very quickly. I thought, WOW! That immediately made up for the unfriendly customer service and thought, "Nice and quick." I got home and then realized why the food was ready so quickly. I was missing the bucket that cost me 15 euros, almost half my order. Then I just thought, "Wow, how can you forget a whole bucket?" Now, I'm not the most difficult person, and I wouldn't mind one or two burgers, which happens everywhere. But a whole bucket, and that's what KFC is supposedly known for, did irritate me a bit. Now, I come here often, and this time they didn't give me enough change, and the cashier wanted to accuse me of asking for too much. Then a discussion started because it was about 10 euros. After a few minutes of arguing with someone who doesn't even speak Dutch, it was like talking to a brick wall anyway. Then a pretty serious manager came over, probably Latino. He's a great guy, he gets to the bottom of things, and I think he's been working there for a while. Then he checked the cash register, and I was right, and I got my 10 euros back. All I got from an arrogant employee was "I'm sorry, bro" in some kind of coolie accent. I've been really fed up with things being so bad here lately, and I almost always miss something. It was about burgers, which I don't mind, but a whole bucket is too much for me. Maybe hire more people who have at least a level 2 vocational education (MBO) and are proficient in the language. I want everyone to have a chance to live on their own and earn a decent living. But at least learn Dutch... I hope something gets done about this, and that's clear now.

It's a KFC, after all. Smart customers know that the burger in the photo represents the theoretical upper limit for the best possible execution of such a bun, and, well, what can I say? We're light years away from that in this branch 😂. Another problem with this branch is that you shouldn't trust that everything you order and pay for will end up in your pocket 😂. So always compare the bill (not the photos on the billboards 😜) with the product you receive. 👌
