KFC in Meerwijk

Placed an order, waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. The chicken was cold and inedible. Almost 23 euros for 10 pieces of chicken, ridiculous for this level of service and quality. They're also impossible to reach. If you apparently find it too difficult to just throw some chicken in a deep fryer and give it to go, then don't take any orders. Have a nice evening.

Update after eating at this location several times: Thursday, November 13th, we ate here again, with three people. Upon entering, there was a very intense chlorine smell. It really hit my lungs. I had to cough a lot that evening because of it, and I still feel it the next day. What's going on at this location? Last week (early November) I visited this location again. My cup of cola smelled strongly of chlorine. I asked for a new one, and promptly received one. However, I did have intense stomach pain that night. The chicken was nice and fresh today (June 29th), but the fries were absolutely inedible. First experience: Nice and clean restaurant. It wasn't busy, and the food arrived within a few minutes. Deliciously hot fries, and the chicken was fresh and nice and hot. We'll be going here more often from now on!

It couldn't be more inhospitable than this. The woman behind the counter was incredibly rude, so we left.

I ordered a viriety mega meal large menu with a milkshake (which cost me extra €2), The milkshake machine was broken, so I got a cola, but they didn't want to refund me the €2. Not sure how it works in the NL, but it should be mandatory to pay back what was not delivered

Super Bad Response From the Workers who work today, Ordered Soft Ice Cream, and the taste are Super Sour like yoghurt, and when am complaining about taste, they just ignoring me and Pretend like I even wasn’t there! What a shame. For such a big International Company. I’ve been visiting a couple places in the Netherland, but this is just unacceptable. And I might get Nauseous from the Ice cream right know while am typing. May God have mercy on this matter.

We have been to the restaurant more than once and the food has been fresh and good - the last time they served us food that was not fresh and tasted bad (probably reheated).

I can't rate the food because we didn't go inside. Man, that was the bad news... we went in at around 9:10 p.m. 2 adults, 2 children. No lights on, the shop looked closed from the outside. I looked at the opening times and lo and behold, someone was moving around in the shop... but they looked at me as if I were really disturbing them. A group of motorbikes also drove into the parking lot 🤣 they turned around straight away too. So, dear owner, I would really take action... it didn't look inviting at all. Our children were completely put off by it. Sorry, not like that again.

Ordered and picked up 4 Korean CT meal L + extra 2 crispy tenders, didnt know have to check my package. At hoted i found out Inside were only 4 crispy tenders instead 4 with korean bbq and 2 normal.

One small item delivered out of a €40 order — this is disgraceful I placed a €40 order from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Only one small item arrived — the rest of the order was completely missing. Uber Eats refunded me €2, closed the case, and offered no way to speak to a human. Their support system is deliberately designed to block real complaints and avoid responsibility. It’s borderline theft. But let’s be clear: this restaurant is not innocent in this. You chose to use Uber Eats as your delivery platform. You took the money, and you allowed your food to go out via a service that clearly doesn’t care if it arrives or not. And when it didn’t — there was no contact, no follow-up, no accountability. If you continue to use Uber Eats, then you’re part of the problem. You’re benefiting from a system that fails customers, takes their money, and delivers next to nothing. You either need to demand better from Uber Eats, or stop using them altogether — because right now, your customers are paying for food they don’t receive, and you’re complicit in that. Avoid this place until they take some responsibility and stop partnering with a company that enables this kind of sham.

I ate well and went home feeling full

We had the bright idea to get something from KFC (also off the route)... Bucket 10 Crispy Tenders, Bucket 5 Original Pieces (Not only very salty, contains strange little bones!), fries (limp and they didn't add mayonnaise. You had one job....) and a very small MEDIUM Strawberry Milkshake (way too much foam and too sweet).

What a bad service. I ordered via Thuisbezorgd and had to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for my food from a fast food restaurant of all places. With my bike (without support!) I would have been faster than the delivery person on the scooter. What makes this experience even worse: completely unreachable by phone, both the restaurant and Thuisbezorgd do not respond to anything. The restaurant did not even bother to call or give an update about the delay. No apologies, no communication, nothing at all. We pay quite a bit of money for this service, but what we get in return is downright scandalous. Unfortunately, this is no longer an isolated incident. In recent years, I have been increasingly disappointed and my trust in both this restaurant and Thuisbezorgd has disappeared. I therefore order less and less.

I had to wait 1.5 hours for an order of 2 ice creams and 3 chicken pieces. In addition, the chicken was really cold. Waste of my money! I have also called the restaurant several times, but there is simply no answer. Worst service I've ever experienced. I will never order here again!

I have had many bad experiences in fast food restaurants, but this one takes the cake. Our shoes were almost stuck when we entered, the bins were overflowing, the tables and chairs were dirty. And I haven't even mentioned the food. The chicken was greasy, poorly breaded, and the quality was inconsistent. When I wanted to wash my hands in the toilet, the soap was gone. This can happen, of course. What I do find reprehensible is that I was ignored at the cash register when I wanted to report this. I could go on and on, but I don't want to waste any more energy on this 'restaurant' than necessary. People, please stay away from this restaurant!!! One last tip for KFC's customer service: Do not use automated responses to negative reviews. This is basically a big middle finger to the dissatisfied customers. I am sure you have the money and the resources to hire staff who will deal with this. The 'colonel' would turn in his grave if he saw what happened to his KFC.

Damn it. I'm really writing this review to warn people so that they don't end up in the toilet after a visit to this 'restaurant'. The chicken was FC, without K; poorly breaded, with barely a crust on it and little flavor. It was muddy and left a greasy layer in my mouth and throat. The tables and chairs were dirty and greasy, and our feet just slid on the floor under the table. The staff was disinterested and any form of contact seemed too much. Really a shame. STAY AWAY HERE!! KFC Spare me such an automatic response and fix these problems because this is really not possible.

Long wait, but good service and food

There is only 1 person taking orders even though it is very busy. Tables are dirty everywhere and I had to wait almost twenty minutes for a small milkshake and a 2€ burger What I find worst is that as a customer you even have to pay for a toilet that is not clean. We ran out of soap and it was just really dirty. I felt really dirty when I got out. Too bad I chose to eat at KFC today. The McDonald's next door looked a lot cleaner.
