Two bad experiences in a row. We came here in July 2025 and we had to wait almost an hour before the meal finally arrived. Now, in December 2025 we ordered meals for four including two veggie burgers (the terminal had no problems with the order) and they delivered everything except the two veggie burgers, so the meals for half of our family... without discussing anything beforehand. So we spent 20-25 minutes waiting for an unacceptable proposition! Fortunately we got all our money back and we had plenty of veggie options at the Burger King next door.

The Zinger burgers weren't topped with anything special, but they were tasty. The fries were so salty you could practically feel your kidneys shredding, but that's beside the point. The staff were completely absent from the moment we ordered until the moment we took them away... I think I've seen happier cows in a random winter pasture!

I've never seen such a bad KFC. The place is simply ruined; all the employees, plus 80% of the customers, were junkies. All the tables and floor looked disgusting. I ate a Twister wrap after half an hour of diarrhea. A lot of things need to be done there asap by a good manager.

This was without a doubt my worst experience ever at a KFC. I ordered through the kiosk, and immediately things went wrong: first, the ice cream I'd ordered was missing, and later, I discovered I hadn't received any cups for my drinks. The staff was noticeably unfriendly and completely unwilling to resolve anything. Their attitude was as if customers are just a nuisance. When I pointed out that my order still wasn't complete, I finally received the three colas I'd ordered from the beginning, but with obvious reluctance. To make matters worse, the drinks had a strong Lipton flavor, as if they had been deliberately mis-poured. The level of service at this location is appalling: no professionalism, no customer service, and a clear disregard for the customer. I absolutely do not recommend this location.

We ordered a bucket of 10 pieces of Original Chicken, but only two pieces were of normal size the rest were very small, almost half the usual size. I approached the staff to raise this concern, and one of them, who appeared to be the manager, responded in a rude and sarcastic manner. Their comment implied that “even if it’s small, it’s still chicken,” which was very unprofessional and dismissive. This is not the proper way to handle a simple customer concern. Customer service plays a very important role in any business, and customer satisfaction should always be the top priority. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as respectful service and consistent product quality are essential to maintaining customer trust and loyalty.

I've ordered takeout twice now, but the quality is so poor. The chicken was fried too long, making it too dry. Lots of bones in the chicken pieces. The milkshake is like cold, thick milk. It should be much creamier. Fries, that's okay. I'll definitely never order again. You absolutely don't get your money's worth. Even though it was quiet and we only had to wait 10 minutes, our food wasn't fresh. The burgers were cold, very sparsely topped. The sauce was only half-spilled on the bun. After not being back for a long time (as has always been my experience at this location), I'm surprised nothing has changed. Disinterested staff, dirty floors. The owner clearly doesn't care. I've also read practically the same experiences here. It's remarkable that this location is able to survive.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I've never experienced such a terrible KFC or snack bar/restaurant. Now that I see the reviews, it's truly laughable. The manager, or gentleman, in his stress or frustration, almost threw the order at my wife, who was holding my son. When I went to complain, I was surprised and denied it by the man. Fine! I let it go. The man came outside to complain while I was in the car and told me my wife was lying. When we got home, unfortunately, he didn't give my wife her food, only two children's menus. Conclusion: terrible service with laughably bad staff. We'll never come back, and I hope this KFC closes. (It wasn't the first time the service was bad, but this time the situation was so ridiculous that I had to share it.) I wonder if the KFC organization will do anything about this, given all the negative feedback.

Even though it certainly wasn't busy, we had to wait over 25 minutes before we could pick up our order at the counter (inside)! And then you even have to fill your own drinks. While that's fine in itself, fries and chicken for three people have to take that long??? There was a little boy who waited at least 20 minutes for his order: two cups of drinks, one of which he had to fill himself! Seriously: two cups of drinks?! Then, half of our fries were still pale and undercooked! A complete waste of money! And the staff... They could only make one order at a time (that's probably why it took so long). And then they walked around, or rather, trudging around with a grumpy face, bringing an order to a table. There wasn't a smile or a friendly word. It really didn't look like they were trying. No, next time I'll go back to that big yellow M. You always see the people working fast there. No matter which branch you go to! And you get your food quickly there.

After waiting quite a while, our order arrived. The person who brought it politely informed us that the Colonel burger wasn't ready yet and would be brought later. After another 20 minutes (the rest of the family had already finished their food), the burger arrived. And it was cold! I went to the counter and wanted my money back, as I'd lost my appetite by then, but they don't do that at KFC. So I agreed to make a new burger, and to my surprise, they were able to get it ready in two minutes. I'll never go to the KFC in Harderwijk again.

We arrived here at 7pm. The restaurant was half empty, but it still took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. This was only because we asked after 30 minutes if we could get our money back to go to Burger King. They said that this was not possible because their colleague had started making the food right away (just as we started complaining). According to the manager, it would take another 20 minutes. When we reacted a bit surprised, the manager got angry and said: because I am talking to you here, I cannot make your food. Well, we finally got our food (5-10 minutes later). Only the hygiene of the recyclable cups was really bad; there was everything in it, from old dirt from the previous person who drank from the cup to pieces in the drink. In addition, half of the food was cold. And as the icing on the cake, the toilet was incredibly dirty and without toilet paper. So: do NOT go here!! Go to Burger King, so you can quickly eat something tasty (which is clean) in all coziness and not at a tent with this grim atmosphere. Especially right after you have had a nice day at Walibi/Dolfinarium.

I don't often write a review, but in this case I would like to share my experience. We recently drove through the drive-thru of KFC Harderwijk to order an ice cream. I kindly asked if I could have some extra chocolate sauce. To my surprise, the employee responded unfriendly with: “No, that is not allowed.” I indicated that we come here regularly and that it has never been a problem until now. Her response: “I'm the manager, and we don't do that.” At no time was she friendly or helpful. When I arrived at the pickup window, I spoke to her about it again. Her response was, “I don't know anything about that.” I indicated that it is important that employees are properly instructed, so that one line is followed. Unfortunately, this “manager” came across as completely unmotivated and uninterested. Her attitude and appearance did not inspire confidence at all - she didn't seem to be in the mood, and she radiated it. KFC Harderwijk: this is no way to treat customers. Customer friendliness and consistency should be the basis, especially for someone in a managerial position. I'll get my ice cream at McDonald's from now on - at least they understand what service means.

After waiting 40 minutes I asked for money back, it wasn't even really busy, the restaurant was dirty, toilets even worse, rubbish next to the bins because they were full, staff shouts and is not friendly, if you don't have enough staff, don't do table service because an uninterested employee who brings something away is not a calling card!

We stood around for 30 minutes for our take-away food (an original bucket and 2 Zinger burgers) and then asked how long it would still take because we were actually in a hurry. We were told that our chicken was just about to go in the deep-fryer and would take another 14 minutes 😱. We then agreed to take other chicken pieces that were ready just to be able to go. They were disappointing.

Never had such bad service before. After waiting half an hour we ask why it is taking so long. You get a grumpy and irritated answer back. Very customer unfriendly. And they were busier with their own conversations than they were busy with the order for the customer. 1 tip, never go here

Just got a croquette sandwich. When I arrived, two young employees were loitering at a table. One got up to help me, and the other remained half-splayed across the table, watching YouTube videos on his phone. After taking my order, the employee got to work. He coughed repeatedly, both into his arm and his hand, and then continued preparing the food without washing his hands. I confronted the young employee about it, but he didn't seem to care. I can't even blame the boys. Without any guidance or supervision, they were left to fend for themselves. When I got home, I threw away the croquette sandwich. I lost my appetite after this experience. In other words, never again to Kwalitaria Tweelingstad for me.
