Two bad experiences in a row. We came here in July 2025 and we had to wait almost an hour before the meal finally arrived. Now, in December 2025 we ordered meals for four including two veggie burgers (the terminal had no problems with the order) and they delivered everything except the two veggie burgers, so the meals for half of our family... without discussing anything beforehand. So we spent 20-25 minutes waiting for an unacceptable proposition! Fortunately we got all our money back and we had plenty of veggie options at the Burger King next door.

I was there recently with my friends after practice on a Wednesday evening. We come here often, and I have to say, the guy who made all our orders deserves a round of applause! He's always friendly and quick with delivery. Give this guy a raise!

Waiting for an order can make you old.

The Zinger burgers weren't topped with anything special, but they were tasty. The fries were so salty you could practically feel your kidneys shredding, but that's beside the point. The staff were completely absent from the moment we ordered until the moment we took them away... I think I've seen happier cows in a random winter pasture!

I've never seen such a bad KFC. The place is simply ruined; all the employees, plus 80% of the customers, were junkies. All the tables and floor looked disgusting. I ate a Twister wrap after half an hour of diarrhea. A lot of things need to be done there asap by a good manager.

If you go here in Harderwijk, the sign says "thank you and goodbye." Well, that sign would be friendlier if the staff were actually taking orders. The staff's attitude is truly awful.

This was without a doubt my worst experience ever at a KFC. I ordered through the kiosk, and immediately things went wrong: first, the ice cream I'd ordered was missing, and later, I discovered I hadn't received any cups for my drinks. The staff was noticeably unfriendly and completely unwilling to resolve anything. Their attitude was as if customers are just a nuisance. When I pointed out that my order still wasn't complete, I finally received the three colas I'd ordered from the beginning, but with obvious reluctance. To make matters worse, the drinks had a strong Lipton flavor, as if they had been deliberately mis-poured. The level of service at this location is appalling: no professionalism, no customer service, and a clear disregard for the customer. I absolutely do not recommend this location.

Rude staff at the Drive. Next time, I'd better drive to Lelystad.

What fantastic service! The food was delicious, and Achraf was so helpful. He was a hard-working guy and always positive. The manager was also super helpful. I thought her name was Martyna! Absolutely fantastic!

Lukewarm fries, no more hot wings ????? It's one of the lesser KFCs. Too bad because the location is great.

We ordered a bucket of 10 pieces of Original Chicken, but only two pieces were of normal size the rest were very small, almost half the usual size. I approached the staff to raise this concern, and one of them, who appeared to be the manager, responded in a rude and sarcastic manner. Their comment implied that “even if it’s small, it’s still chicken,” which was very unprofessional and dismissive. This is not the proper way to handle a simple customer concern. Customer service plays a very important role in any business, and customer satisfaction should always be the top priority. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as respectful service and consistent product quality are essential to maintaining customer trust and loyalty.

Nothing wrong with that for a fast food chain

Waiting 25 minutes for a simple order, staff who snap at you if you say anything about it. And I understand that, because I wasn't the only one who said something.

It's still fast food. Keeping kids happy is what matters.

Beautiful pictures on the plates, but the food is terrible, with dry chicken. Way too much salt on the fries, and you need scissors to open the mayonnaise packets. Never again for us.

We had that cheese, cheese, cheese burger. We'd already seen the commercial on TV, and it actually discouraged us from trying it, but after a vacation and a long trip, this was the only option, and we were surprised at how delicious it was. I'd say KFC should stop that commercial and make a new one for the cheese, cheese, cheese option.

No forks for the loaded fries, so I have to eat it with my fingers while driving. Great... I actually wanted to eat there, but even though there was nothing going on, 98% of the tables were so full that there would have been enough for three more meals.... The staff were extremely unfriendly.

I ordered medium fries and got small ones. I ordered and paid for extra bacon for my crunchy cheese, but I only got one slice (should I have gotten none or something?). The Dubai deluxe sundae wasn't mixed and didn't have much topping. A huge waste of money. The Red Bull was okay, but it's hard to go wrong with that.

I've ordered takeout twice now, but the quality is so poor. The chicken was fried too long, making it too dry. Lots of bones in the chicken pieces. The milkshake is like cold, thick milk. It should be much creamier. Fries, that's okay. I'll definitely never order again. You absolutely don't get your money's worth. The photos are beautiful, but the food is completely different in reality!

Even though it was quiet and we only had to wait 10 minutes, our food wasn't fresh. The burgers were cold, very sparsely topped. The sauce was only half-spilled on the bun. After not being back for a long time (as has always been my experience at this location), I'm surprised nothing has changed. Disinterested staff, dirty floors. The owner clearly doesn't care. I've also read practically the same experiences here. It's remarkable that this location is able to survive.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I've never experienced such a terrible KFC or snack bar/restaurant. Now that I see the reviews, it's truly laughable. The manager, or gentleman, in his stress or frustration, almost threw the order at my wife, who was holding my son. When I went to complain, I was surprised and denied it by the man. Fine! I let it go. The man came outside to complain while I was in the car and told me my wife was lying. When we got home, unfortunately, he didn't give my wife her food, only two children's menus. Conclusion: terrible service with laughably bad staff. We'll never come back, and I hope this KFC closes. (It wasn't the first time the service was bad, but this time the situation was so ridiculous that I had to share it.) I wonder if the KFC organization will do anything about this, given all the negative feedback.

Had to wait 30 minutes!! Food was lukewarm. We spoke to the staff and were told: "Yes, we're a small team." We sat on the patio, which had a dirty atmosphere: crumbs, paper scraps, stains... We won't be coming back.

We thought we'd grab a quick bite. KFC is a fast-food chain, after all. Well, we can definitely say "fast"! Even though it certainly wasn't busy, we had to wait over 25 minutes before we could pick up our order at the counter (inside)! And then you even have to fill your own drinks. While that's fine in itself, fries and chicken for three people have to take that long??? There was a little boy who waited at least 20 minutes for his order: two cups of drinks, one of which he had to fill himself! Seriously: two cups of drinks?! Then, half of our fries were still pale and undercooked! A complete waste of money! And the staff... They could only make one order at a time (that's probably why it took so long). And then they walked around, or rather, trudging around with a grumpy face, bringing an order to a table. There wasn't a smile or a friendly word. It really didn't look like they were trying. No, next time I'll go back to that big yellow M. You always see the people working fast there. No matter which branch you go to! And you get your food quickly there.

The owner of this KFC should be absolutely ashamed of himself; what a disgusting mess! Everything is sticky, and everything you touch is disgusting. The staff is extremely rude. They say the hair in the chicken is from the chicken itself. The second portion is even fishier and greasier! I'll never go here again, and I hope I don't get sick!

After waiting quite a while, our order arrived. The person who brought it politely informed us that the Colonel burger wasn't ready yet and would be brought later. After another 20 minutes (the rest of the family had already finished their food), the burger arrived. And it was cold! I went to the counter and wanted my money back, as I'd lost my appetite by then, but they don't do that at KFC. So I agreed to make a new burger, and to my surprise, they were able to get it ready in two minutes. I'll never go to the KFC in Harderwijk again.

The photos are beautiful and delicious when you place the order, but when you finish, you get what's called "fatty chicken," and the order wasn't the same. After the employee explained the confusion, I was convinced, but my family and I didn't like it.

Apparently, there are beds behind the counter, and no one comes to help you if you want to ask something after waiting 40 minutes for food. The staff is completely distraught. It's a terrible place, there's no customer service, they've never heard of it. Never again!

This is, unfortunately, truly the worst KFC in the Netherlands. The chicken is only edible when the dark-skinned manager is present.

Okay, forgot 3 positions... a bit messy

I've already waited over half an hour for a simple order (2 zingers and 2 fries). Only to discover that I was given a fork to eat the "Sundae Deluxe" with... Furthermore, the zingers were noticeably sparsely topped. Significantly more so than I'm used to at other locations. Given the many similar reviews, does this location even want to be a KFC?

It's unbelievable how much food is thrown away here every day. It's scandalous. Get rid of this fast food mess.

After a day at Walibi, we thought we'd have a nice meal at KFC. What a horrible place! Dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty toilets, and the staff looked like they didn't care. The order was wrong. I asked for straws, but they weren't allowed because it wasn't takeaway...?!? I paid 80 euros for everything! Ridiculous! I'll definitely be going back to KFC Barendrecht from now on. This KFC could learn a thing or two from them!

Unfortunately, online ordering and pickup aren't available at KFC. KFC is hopelessly behind the times. The app doesn't work. A bit cheap. We'll just go back to pickup then.

A great location for a (fast-food) restaurant. It's located between the highway and the local roads leading to the Veluwe region. There are a few ordering kiosks and a slower counter. The staff was okay, but clearly not trained, and there was no manager present. All in all, a good meal.

Through the Drive, ordered 2x Meal deal with sauce & a burger, according to the offer of €1 extra for the burger. Food arrived on time, within 10 minutes. But we paid €20+ for something that should have been only €14. Special..

The order took forever, even though it was barely busy. For €3.50, I got a sad, maybe 10cm-long corn on the cob – no salt, no butter, just dry and boring. Not even a hint of herb butter or seasoning. Absolutely disappointing. As if that weren't enough: There was no toilet paper in the restroom – totally unhygienic and embarrassing for a fast food chain of this size. I'd rather go somewhere else. Never again at KFC.

Extreme slow service, 20 min. for 2 menues, only 3 people in with us. Tables sticky and dirty. Don't use the male toilet, extreme strong smell of chlorine, my eyes were tearing up und my nose was "blind" for the next 30 minutes, need to flush with clear water outside....

Tonight the kids went to get something nice, well that didn't go well at all, I ordered 3 medium drinks, it turns out there was no fizz in it, fries and burger and chicken, everything was cold, it was inedible and if you have to pay 1 euro per cup for plastic, then you are not right in the head and everything with everything, never get food from KFC and the staff is really disgusting, that man and then you have those guys who work there who want to interfere, well I hope the place closes, dirty company and above all how that man spoke to me and terrible, never, ever order food again

I come here often and every time again a very nice atmosphere, of course people make mistakes but it is also solved immediately. The nice manager with gray blouse and headscarf is really always ready to help you. I really like her! You can really put her in the spotlight. Love

They can't call it fast food here, if you have to wait 48 minutes for two menus.. There were too few people for a Saturday (5p) and those who were there walked as if they just got out of bed (because mega dull/slow). Food was also cold. We won't come here again.

Harderwijk top kfc! I don't understand why people are negative 😅 we come there every Friday as a standard outing and me cravings😂 What lovely staff members are there! Especially the young man I think (Turkish) who always takes our order in the evening before closing! I really don't experience anything negative here, the food is nice and warm, tastes good and we enjoy it time and time again! (fire zinger stacker for the win) this boy deserves more pay :p

Took 30 minutes before we got the food after ordering.

Dirty tables empty restaurant and still a huge waiting time. If I would wait that long but my order would at least be complete and correct I would say okay. But now half was wrong. Explicitly asked to get ice cream after I had finished eating what did I get my ice cream first. So it became a milkshake. In all honesty I should have gone to the Burger King which is right next door.

We arrived here at 7pm. The restaurant was half empty, but it still took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. This was only because we asked after 30 minutes if we could get our money back to go to Burger King. They said that this was not possible because their colleague had started making the food right away (just as we started complaining). According to the manager, it would take another 20 minutes. When we reacted a bit surprised, the manager got angry and said: because I am talking to you here, I cannot make your food. Well, we finally got our food (5-10 minutes later). Only the hygiene of the recyclable cups was really bad; there was everything in it, from old dirt from the previous person who drank from the cup to pieces in the drink. In addition, half of the food was cold. And as the icing on the cake, the toilet was incredibly dirty and without toilet paper. So: do NOT go here!! Go to Burger King, so you can quickly eat something tasty (which is clean) in all coziness and not at a tent with this grim atmosphere. Especially right after you have had a nice day at Walibi/Dolfinarium.

Worst KFC I have ever been to. Waited over 45 minutes for our food. Half of the order had been ready for over 10 minutes and was getting cold, while the rest still had to come out of the kitchen. One employee walked around visibly irritated, constantly swearing and almost aggressively pushing trays into the hands of customers. The restaurant itself was dirty and unkempt. Definitely not recommended.

It took 20 minutes for our food to arrive, it wasn't crazy busy. When we did get our food the cups were dirty, fries cold and unsalted. The chicken was also cold. The 14 piece bucket also only had 13 pieces.

Nice KFC on a site together with la Place and Burger King, right on the A28 motorway. Easily accessible and not busy. Lots of young staff. Great for a bite to eat on the go!!

I don't often write a review, but in this case I would like to share my experience. We recently drove through the drive-thru of KFC Harderwijk to order an ice cream. I kindly asked if I could have some extra chocolate sauce. To my surprise, the employee responded unfriendly with: “No, that is not allowed.” I indicated that we come here regularly and that it has never been a problem until now. Her response: “I'm the manager, and we don't do that.” At no time was she friendly or helpful. When I arrived at the pickup window, I spoke to her about it again. Her response was, “I don't know anything about that.” I indicated that it is important that employees are properly instructed, so that one line is followed. Unfortunately, this “manager” came across as completely unmotivated and uninterested. Her attitude and appearance did not inspire confidence at all - she didn't seem to be in the mood, and she radiated it. KFC Harderwijk: this is no way to treat customers. Customer friendliness and consistency should be the basis, especially for someone in a managerial position. I'll get my ice cream at McDonald's from now on - at least they understand what service means.

After waiting 40 minutes I asked for money back, it wasn't even really busy, the restaurant was dirty, toilets even worse, rubbish next to the bins because they were full, staff shouts and is not friendly, if you don't have enough staff, don't do table service because an uninterested employee who brings something away is not a calling card!
