What a terrible KFC this is. Such a shame. You always have to double-check your order because it's often wrong or they've forgotten something. And you can expect long waits, whether it's busy or quiet. An hour is definitely possible. I also gave pickup a try, but that's just as terrible.

They charge me 12 euros for something that should only cost 8 euros. You never get a receipt here, nobody speaks Dutch, and they're extremely rude. As soon as I get home, I check my statement to see what I paid, and it's 4 euros too much. But yeah, try explaining that if you don't get a receipt. Then I call them well before closing time, and nobody answers, probably because they're afraid to speak Dutch. A little tip: don't hire people who don't speak the language; it's ridiculous. The English of those who do speak it is extremely poor. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened; it's been going on for a very long time. The service is poor and slow; sometimes you wait 30 minutes in the drive-through for your food and nobody even says anything. "Here's your food, and get lost." If you're waiting inside, it sometimes takes half an hour to get it. There's only one person in the entire KFC who has the company's best interests at heart: the young man in management who speaks Dutch. He's extremely polite and friendly. But the rest are truly subpar. Such a shame, especially since it was a fantastic KFC just a few years ago.

Horrible, the order was ready 55 minutes later than stated. Everyone had to wait a long time, and several people didn't even pick up their orders because I think they went elsewhere due to hunger. If there's an emergency or no management, there should at least be some kind of apology. All you get here are grumpy people loudly shouting the number of orders people placed an hour earlier, and sometimes even leaving already. Regarding the food itself, it was lukewarm/cold, and there was no sauce, as many people here have stated the orders were incorrect. In short, I'd rather drive 30 minutes for another KFC than visit this one. I'll never go there again. A disgrace to KFC.

I've tried to give this KFC a fair chance several times now, but unfortunately, it's always a disappointment. Upon entering, you immediately notice how dirty the floor is; food scraps are everywhere, as if it hasn't been cleaned in hours. The staff's hygiene also leaves much to be desired. Not a single staff member wears a hairnet, and to my surprise, one of them was even calmly drinking her own drink in the middle of the restaurant, among the customers. That doesn't exactly come across as professional. What makes it all even more frustrating is that even in a nearly empty restaurant, you have to wait over 30 minutes for your order. (Hence the time to write this review.) Meanwhile, you see staff wandering around, complaining about how hard they're working, and doing little. When you finally get your food, it turns out to be wrong. If you raise a concern, they only sigh and reluctantly make adjustments. In short: a particularly bad experience, and this has happened several times. It seems there's no management or oversight whatsoever here. It's a real shame, but this branch really leaves everything to be desired in terms of service, hygiene and customer friendliness.

It was probably the worst KFC we've ever been to. The tables weren't clean, there were whole portions of fries lying on the floor under the table, the restrooms smelled so disgusting and weren't clean. The staff were unfriendly and it took forever to order, and the fries were already cooked right away and were consequently soggy and cold.

I gave them another try after years, but nope, still the WORST KFC in the Netherlands. First, I paid 22 euros for two Twisters, two Cokes, and two so-called medium fries, smaller than what used to be small fries. Bland, lukewarm junk. Then I ordered an ice cream. After 20 minutes, still nothing. Still 11 orders ahead of me. No, an ice cream can't be squeezed in; everything has to be in the order of order. Meanwhile, customers whose orders were ready were complaining that something had gone wrong. I just walked away. If someone comes to the counter, there's probably finally a sundae waiting for them with order number 501. Enjoy!

Buy a box of hot wings and ask if they are hot. When I get home they are lukewarm and when I ask if they are hot I live 5 minutes from them so you expect them to be hot. Call them and they tell you they are just yelling at you. They were 70 degrees Celsius. This is really not the case. I advise you not to go there.

My experience at KFC in Middelburg was truly disappointing. The staff was rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. Furthermore, we discovered that all the advertised Squid Game menu items we had intended to order were missing. This was a real shame. The wait was incredibly long, despite there being very few people in the restaurant. I don't understand why they couldn't handle the situation more efficiently. However, the food itself was good, so we hoped the service would be up to par. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this KFC due to the poor service and order processing. Hopefully, they improve soon.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your Middelburg location. On July 29, 2025, I placed an order for €66.71. While I didn't mind waiting half an hour, it was even more frustrating to discover upon returning home that I had received a cheaper Variety Bucket instead of the 10 Original Pieces I actually ordered. Considering the amount I paid, I expected a correct order and a higher level of service. I also noticed that the staff seemed chaotic and disoriented. Communication was difficult, partly because many employees spoke little or no Dutch. When I tried to contact them by phone to discuss this, it turned out to be impossible – they either didn't answer or didn't respond. I would kindly ask you to take this situation seriously. It might be advisable to pay extra attention to staff training and ensure clear guidance within the team.

One of my favorite takeaways, where I won't be going again. They had a malfunction in a heating device and instead of telling customers, they just gave them cold hamburgers. Luckily I checked my food before I went home and felt my burger was stone cold. When l showed the staff, they said they couldn't help me and the manager was on a call so I had to wait to get my money back. And best of all, people at the counter didn't even speak Dutch.....Forward a couple of months.... today my daughter wanted to try the Korean meal, so I give in and order KFC... with a Red Bull Watermelon, which is on the menu if you add €1,75. Get my order and the replacedit with a regular Red Bull, I don't really like regular Red Bull so ask him where my watermelon one is , and not in stock (but you leave it on the ordering kiosk) .. so I walk out with a Pepsi at an extra cost of €1,75 .. Hopeless

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a KFC restaurant. The staff were unprofessional and showed no respect to customers. The food was of poor quality, and our order was incomplete. There was someone claiming to be the branch manager named “Michael,” but his behavior was far from professional. All the employees we encountered were rude and disrespectful. We also felt a sense of discrimination, especially because some women in our group were wearing hijabs. This is a place I will never visit again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this branch as long as such terrible staff remain.

The 'cripy' chicken was anything but crispy. The 'large' fries were just small fries and bremzout, cold and limp. The 'large' cup of soda (0.4l) was filled to 2cm below the 0.4l line. And that 'korean sauce' is some kind of wet mess that the chicken is soaked with and that makes you sick when you eat more than 2 pieces. It was the first time I ate there, but also the last time.

I ordered a Zinger Burger, and my colleague took a few bites before realizing the chicken was raw. As we all know, eating raw chicken can lead to serious health issues. I went back to exchange it, but the woman with black hair and glasses who handled the situation didn’t say a single word—no “sorry,” no “thank you,” not even a “goodbye.” The fault was clearly on their side, so I expected at least a simple apology. Mistakes with food can happen, but due to the extremely unpleasant attitude of the staff, I definitely won’t be returning.

Considering that this is fastfood, everything is perfect. Fast drive thru time, friendly staff, tasty food. My only complaint is that the menu in the Netherlands is vastly different from the USA. 😶🌫️ I exclusively only ever ordered corn bread, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy growing up over there. But all 3 of these aren't sold here. 😂 I think in the USA, we associate KFC more with "Thanksgiving" foods? And the Dutch must view KFC as a competitor of BK and McD because they've oddly added fries to their menu here.
