Spacious kfc with lots of parking, food was quick and tastes like kfc!

Downright bad! At a branch in the global metropolis of Middelburg (of all places), you would expect to simply be spoken to in Dutch. However, at the drive-through, you discover that not a single employee at this branch is capable of communicating in Dutch. On top of that, they apparently lack the mental capacity to know the menu of the restaurant they represent. This leads to very awkward situations, while the lines of cars at the drive-through only get longer. This problem has been ongoing for some time, but apparently, it is not a reason for national management to take action.

Worst kfc ever. Bad food. Take 1 hour wt least. Cold. Not recommended. I would rather go study culinary and cook my own

Everything is dirty, filthy, and greasy; it is a waste of money to eat here. You are better off going to the McDonald's on the other side; it is fresher there.

Staff members are joke, they don’t know what they doing and doing everything slow. Drama ar this point. I’ve seen guy going for some forks behind a counter and guy didn’t even react. Waiting time different league drama. Also floor is sticky filthy

AVOID. Dirty floor and tables especially outside; Men´s toilet without running water but with off-putting sticky floor; Staff totally unhelpful and when I asked for salt they were totally surprised and said they do not have any left ?!??.

What a nightmare. Staff unfriendly, uninterested, or downright antisocial. The toilet was so dirty there was a centimeter of urine in it. The toilet brush holder was floating in it. I don't understand how this KFC is still open.

Just not my kind of people / location. You can really tell this is a school cafeteria, nothing special, and as for the service, well, I'll put it mildly, but it's not friendly.

The state of the restrooms was particularly appalling: they were extremely dirty, and there was even feces on the floor. The rest of the restaurant also gave a very neglected impression, and the tables were visibly dirty. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing. It was served cold and did not meet my expectations in terms of either taste or quality. Overall, the entire visit was very unhygienic and disappointing. Cleanliness and hygiene should be a given, especially in a restaurant. In my opinion, there is an urgent need for improvement here.

We walked in and went straight back out. I don't understand why people go to eat in this filthy, disgusting garbage dump. Staff unfriendly and most certainly not professional. Food safety and the Food and Drug Authorities must close this place down as soon as possible. It is a real disgrace, what a terrible establishment.

Bad service at the drive-thru; a big-mouthed man said there weren't enough original pieces at 2 p.m., and then he offered a €1.20 discount on them.

Real garbage from this restaurant; immediately after ordering, we were already wondering if it was a good decision to eat here. Why McDonald's is always clean, and usually KFC isn't.

Terrible experience. I arrived around 2:00 PM specifically for the Original 10 Pieces Bucket, but the Original Pieces were already out of stock by then. The employee indicated that there were still about 6 to 7 pieces left. I said I wanted those, but I still had to pay the full price for a 10 Pieces Bucket. Additionally, the employee was incredibly rude and not customer-friendly at all. The restroom also looked downright bad and unkempt. The chicken itself was also a huge disappointment: the pieces were incredibly fatty and, in my opinion, just tasted like one big lump of fat. All in all, a very bad experience. Poor customer service, the Original Pieces were already unavailable around 2:00 PM, the restroom was unkempt, and the chicken was a huge letdown in terms of taste and quality. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Terrible place, yuck yuck yuck!! The toilets were filthy, vomit in the sink, no hand soap. Tables rancid and some broken. You stuck to the floor. Very dirty there. Not even worth a star!

The exterior is filthy and unhygienic, absolutely disgusting. I only took a picture of the outside; there was vomit in the men's sink. Catastrophic! The display board isn't used; instead, the food is announced, and if you don't listen, tough luck.

Outside there was KFC trash everywhere, inside almost all the tables were dirty and had to be wiped down with our own disinfectant spray, and the toilets were worse than any train station toilet.

It's really important in this part of the Netherlands and Belgium to find a decent fast-food place! For us, it's crucial to find a well-cooked and spicy meal! The quality, price, and service are all good, the staff is friendly, there's free parking for everyone, and it's spotless and clean. I highly recommend it.

The staff is friendly, but the place is very messy. Food scraps and napkins are scattered on the floor, the bins are overflowing, and the floor and tables are sticky. The staff doesn't clean between meals. Food preparation is slow. Thick clouds of smoke hang from the kitchen, either due to a broken extractor fan or overheated oil.

You come to eat and they are closed, and it says they are open until 23:00 and now it is 22:10. This KFC is wrong, sorry.

I ate here on a Wednesday evening with one other person. It was a fine KFC branch. However, the toilets were filthy and broken (tap wouldn't stop, soap out, urine next to the bowl). Friendly staff.

Worst KFC…out of 3 employees with long hair, only one was wearing a hair net. We waited 20 min, in an empty restaurant, there literally was only one order before us. The milkshakes were made first and waited 20 min in the heat, we got them very watery. And in the time we waited we only saw the employees doing nothing, literally walking around like headless chickens… putting items in bags, taking them out, then put them on a tray and then back in the bag…multiple people came and more and more orders started piling up…of course they were getting their orders before us, but not us…6 orders that came after our order where done and we still waited…when we eventually got the food, of course we had missing items. We watched 2 employees work our order. Is it rocket science that 2 people need to work one order and somehow still get it wrong ?! We went to inform the employees that the box meal was missing, he came to check all our bags to make sure we aren’t hiding it and just trying to claim free food, he literally opened all our bags multiple times looking if we hid the food…are we for real ?

Worthless. The food could not be delivered to the table, so you literally have to stand in line for half an hour. The food was cold and they forgot half of it, which meant we had to wait even longer!

It was absolutely awful there. We had to wait an extra 12 minutes for our food because the staff seemed more interested in eating burgers and sipping cola themselves. Then some items were missing, and the food was cold and soggy, despite supposedly being freshly prepared. And then there was that 5cm long quill on the wing – that was the last straw.

What we encountered at KFC Middelburg today was downright shocking. We have never seen a fast-food restaurant make such an unkempt and dirty impression. Hygiene was far below par in several respects. The toilets were filthy, there was no hand soap available, and the outdoor terrace was littered with trash and dirt. This was clearly not the result of a single busy day, but seemed to be the result of long-term neglected cleaning. Inside, it wasn't much better: the floors and mats looked as if they hadn't had a thorough cleaning in a very long time. Our trust was gone immediately. If the areas customers see look this dirty, one can only wonder what goes on behind the scenes and in the kitchen. We therefore decided not to order anything and left. For a company that sells food, this is simply unacceptable. KFC should be seriously ashamed of the state of this establishment and should do something about it urgently. One of the dirtiest hospitality establishments we have ever visited. 1 star is actually still too much.

It's really filthy inside; they don't clean.

Hilariously bad. Decided what we wanted on the online menu, went to the drive through to order it, was told that we couldn't order it. Why? Because it's on the pick up menu. We could order it online, and walk inside to collect it... But we couldn't order it at the drive through. Make that make sense. Also, when we tried to do this, we found that this specific KFC has disabled all online ordering. So you're forced to pay their higher prices. Scam artists.

The taste was good, but the rapeseed lacked more substance. And at the drive-in they could respond faster; we had to wait quite a while before someone asked what we wanted, but otherwise the young man was very friendly.

We thought the drive-in wasn't working because we had to wait so long. So we drove right up to the window, but they were busy and weren't allowed to take orders at the window. We had to drive back around and order at the drive-in. Of course, we didn't do that... customer service 0/10!

Unfortunately, the restaurant in Middelburg is very dirty. The toilet doors are stained with grime. The tables are sticky, and the food is lukewarm. Absolutely not recommended.

I came here with great enthusiasm and love for the place. But the hamburger was a huge disappointment. It was awful chicken, like rubber, covered in mayonnaise. It looked like it'd been cooked five or six times! Truly terrible! Throw it in the trash!

Unfortunately, I cannot give this visit a positive review. The entire place felt neglected and unclean. The state of the restroom was particularly unpleasant, as it smelled strongly. Hygiene in the dining area also left much to be desired – among other things, there were chicken wings lying in the sink. This is far below my minimum standards of cleanliness. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The food was okay, but everything else was a disaster! We had to come back several times because they forgot something! (We were at the drive-thru.) And then they just made up lame excuses. We paid for food we didn't even get. Absolutely outrageous!

We had to wait half an hour for our order. In the meantime, the staff were fighting behind the counter. Staff using the F-word as an insult... Only to then say, after half an hour, that they were sold out of chicken... We were forced to ask for our money back and leave. A complete mess there!

Today I decided to get food from KFC. I ordered through the kiosk and then waited 50 minutes for the food. So the frustration was quite high. I got home hoping for a good meal, but alas. The chicken was dry, tough, cold—just plain awful. It's a shame you can't give one star, because that one star is already too many. Never again KFC.

I don't think it's too much to ask just to make sure the tables and floors are clean

Very fast and very tasty. We ordered two ice creams and were out the door within 4 minutes. Ordered and received in those 4 minutes! Very pleasant atmosphere too!

We went here with my family last night. It's a real pigsty: there's trash everywhere, there are empty tables but they're dirty, and the staff doesn't clean at all. I don't recommend it to anyone. Simply awful 🤮😡

Poor products. I hadn't been there in a while, but it's gotten really bad and the meat is very expensive. The quality is poor, with tendons and a lot less than before. The place is poorly cleaned, the toilet is dirty, as are the tables. Shame on you. Peter Muijters.

That drive-thru is a real nightmare! I've been fobbed off in the parking lot for the umpteenth time!! I'm stuck here with about six or seven cars waiting for someone who never shows up!! 20 minutes already! How?!?!?

Waiting over an hour for your food and still not having it! It's outrageous that it takes so long. They don't understand the concept of fast food here at all.

What a terrible KFC this is. Such a shame. You always have to double-check your order because it's often wrong or they've forgotten something. And you can expect long waits, whether it's busy or quiet. An hour is definitely possible. I also gave pickup a try, but that's just as terrible.

We came there before 6pm and there was almost nothing left to order. Apparently it was chicken wings Wednesday so the chicken wings (and more items on the menu) were sold out so they said we should have came earlier or to try again next week…

We waited over half an hour for our order to be ready. Then came lukewarm fries and chicken; half of the chicken looked like it had already been fried for the third time. Extremely unfriendly staff, who barely spoke Dutch. A very disappointing visit.

They charge me 12 euros for something that should only cost 8 euros. You never get a receipt here, nobody speaks Dutch, and they're extremely rude. As soon as I get home, I check my statement to see what I paid, and it's 4 euros too much. But yeah, try explaining that if you don't get a receipt. Then I call them well before closing time, and nobody answers, probably because they're afraid to speak Dutch. A little tip: don't hire people who don't speak the language; it's ridiculous. The English of those who do speak it is extremely poor. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened; it's been going on for a very long time. The service is poor and slow; sometimes you wait 30 minutes in the drive-through for your food and nobody even says anything. "Here's your food, and get lost." If you're waiting inside, it sometimes takes half an hour to get it. There's only one person in the entire KFC who has the company's best interests at heart: the young man in management who speaks Dutch. He's extremely polite and friendly. But the rest are truly subpar. Such a shame, especially since it was a fantastic KFC just a few years ago.

Horrible, the order was ready 55 minutes later than stated. Everyone had to wait a long time, and several people didn't even pick up their orders because I think they went elsewhere due to hunger. If there's an emergency or no management, there should at least be some kind of apology. All you get here are grumpy people loudly shouting the number of orders people placed an hour earlier, and sometimes even leaving already. Regarding the food itself, it was lukewarm/cold, and there was no sauce, as many people here have stated the orders were incorrect. In short, I'd rather drive 30 minutes for another KFC than visit this one. I'll never go there again. A disgrace to KFC.

I've tried to give this KFC a fair chance several times now, but unfortunately, it's always a disappointment. Upon entering, you immediately notice how dirty the floor is; food scraps are everywhere, as if it hasn't been cleaned in hours. The staff's hygiene also leaves much to be desired. Not a single staff member wears a hairnet, and to my surprise, one of them was even calmly drinking her own drink in the middle of the restaurant, among the customers. That doesn't exactly come across as professional. What makes it all even more frustrating is that even in a nearly empty restaurant, you have to wait over 30 minutes for your order. (Hence the time to write this review.) Meanwhile, you see staff wandering around, complaining about how hard they're working, and doing little. When you finally get your food, it turns out to be wrong. If you raise a concern, they only sigh and reluctantly make adjustments. In short: a particularly bad experience, and this has happened several times. It seems there's no management or oversight whatsoever here. It's a real shame, but this branch really leaves everything to be desired in terms of service, hygiene and customer friendliness.

It was probably the worst KFC we've ever been to. The tables weren't clean, there were whole portions of fries lying on the floor under the table, the restrooms smelled so disgusting and weren't clean. The staff were unfriendly and it took forever to order, and the fries were already cooked right away and were consequently soggy and cold.

Never go here! Bad, unfriendly service, it's all wrong. You pay for your order and then you don't even get half of it. And then they claim that what we said is wrong, and even when you show them your receipt, they still claim it's wrong. It's unbelievable the people who work there.

I gave them another try after years, but nope, still the WORST KFC in the Netherlands. First, I paid 22 euros for two Twisters, two Cokes, and two so-called medium fries, smaller than what used to be small fries. Bland, lukewarm junk. Then I ordered an ice cream. After 20 minutes, still nothing. Still 11 orders ahead of me. No, an ice cream can't be squeezed in; everything has to be in the order of order. Meanwhile, customers whose orders were ready were complaining that something had gone wrong. I just walked away. If someone comes to the counter, there's probably finally a sundae waiting for them with order number 501. Enjoy!

Due to the crowds, the fries have run out and we have now been waiting 40 minutes for 2 medium menus

Buy a box of hot wings and ask if they are hot. When I get home they are lukewarm and when I ask if they are hot I live 5 minutes from them so you expect them to be hot. Call them and they tell you they are just yelling at you. They were 70 degrees Celsius. This is really not the case. I advise you not to go there.
