KFC in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

The wait time for a simple burger was from 6:14 PM to 7:00 PM. The staff is rude and ignores people with problems. There was also a puddle of urine on the floor by the restroom. For your own good, just go to McDonald's.

We waited an hour for our food, and it still arrived incomplete. The man behind the register pretended not to see me when I came back to ask about the delivery time or the incomplete order. That's some fast food xD We had to go extend the parking space for another hour.

Well... raw chicken on the burgers. Only a quarter of the burger had chicken in it. 🫠 The milkshake wasn't even half full, so we went back to the counter, only to get a nasty look from the person working there. He said it was supposed to be that way, while at all other KFCs I just get a full cup. Also, the fries were still half raw, and I got two Cokes instead of Sisi...

Back in 2025 after 5 years. The food was much better, faster service, clean restrooms, and more seating. The only downside was the machine beeping because the printer was out of power.

I usually like KFC in the Netherlands, but my last visit to this branch put me off forever. I was served a box of hairy chicken wings. Now, every time I think of fried chicken, I picture hair baked into it. I could understand one hair, but there were so many that it looked like someone had cut their hair near the fryer.

Worst KFC ever. Waited over an hour and a half for cold and disgusting food. One person didn't even get their order. The staff is awful and has absolutely no respect for customers. Dirty tables, trash everywhere, and zero cleaning. The staff feels like they're working there as punishment. Disastrous – absolutely not recommended!

I was there waiting for 30 mins to get my food. When I asked the staff, he was telling me the food was picked up???? And he blamed me for not paying attention while they called random orders all the time and everybody was waiting in the line. How come they didn’t check the numbers and took the receipt so there won’t be people claiming somebody’s order. At the end he gave the food but it’s very annoying.

Around 6:15, my friend and I decided to get a meal deal for 2. We didn't get our food until 7:30. All the tables hadn't been cleared, there was still trash on the floor in several places, the fries were very salty, the chicken was very dry, and more than half of the burger was without chicken. The service was also very slow.

Over 40 minutes of waiting for a simple order. Other people even waited in line for 60 minutes. The staff doesn't speak Dutch and doesn't even bother to understand you. They just walk away mid-sentence. It's quite unusual. We won't be back.

Arrogant employees who can't even wrap a simple children's menu after telling her they forgot to do so throw the box of chicken on the counter like trash, and the same goes for the toy. We had a small order (3 menus), and there were five people in the building, so it wasn't busy. The manager was still at the cash register when I confronted the employee about this. The manager didn't say anything until I told her it wasn't possible. Then she said, "What do you want me to do?"

What a terrible place to order. I ordered through Uber. The food was okay, but the drink was leaking sideways in the bag... It's really bad to saddle the delivery drivers with that. And it's costing me my money... and it's been the umpteenth time. I highly recommend not ordering drinks for delivery here.

I usually find KFC’s food quality to be on its standard level, and this location in Nijmegen is no exception in that regard. However, what truly disappointed me was the way staff handle problems and interact with guests. I urgently needed to use the restroom, but my private payment card wouldn’t work, and the coin slot was out of order. I approached the counter, offering to pay directly so I could be let through. The staff member refused, in an unfriendly manner, forcing me to use my company card – something I avoid unless absolutely necessary. In the end, I went through all this trouble only to find a restroom in a state that had nothing to do with hygiene. If customers are paying, they have every right to expect clean sanitary facilities. As a business owner myself, I cannot understand – or accept – this lack of basic human consideration and respect for customers.

KFC Nijmegen is a real disappointment. The food is inedible and the staff is rude.

Since I frequent KFCs, I find this branch a real disappointment. The tables are often dirty, you have to constantly speak English or they simply can't understand you (don't ask me how), and the food is often half-baked. It's a joke and a poor business model. What poor leadership. They should show a bit more empathy in their feedback. They should also address the rude staff. It's a complete flop. Go to other places where it's clean and you're not treated like trash.

I was just at KFC and told them I was cash-only. They wouldn't scan my coupon at the checkout for the Double Crunch burger. I had to go to the self-service checkout. When I told them I was cash-only, they started laughing and telling me I was out of luck. I don't understand why they're not giving me the burger for the price on the app. They get a tone, start arguing with me, and eventually the woman behind the counter walks away laughing.

I had an order for Fagelstraat, it took two hours, and you finally canceled it. You took the money, but there's a 1.1 km gap between us. How is that possible? Two hours, and then you cancel the order?

Cold chicken (those Squid Games wings) and the other fried chicken was warmer, but had more coating than chicken. Fried chicken can be so delicious. Too bad the Nijmegen branch doesn't get that. I filed a complaint, can I get a discount card? No, thank you...

You have to wait a good half hour for your fries and your Bucket. They don't work at all.

As a tourist, I find that this KFC was my best food stop! The ambiance was great, I love the Led lights, also the tables were always clean. It felt safe and cozy. The staff is kind and helpful. Love that!! 5/5!!

The air conditioning worked well, which was nice on a hot day. The chairs, tables, and floors weren't very clean, though.

Came here after their renovation, the service was very slow even though it wasn't busy at all. Everybody said it will come soon but we waited over 20 minutes. In order to go to the bathroom, you have to pay, even when you are a client. In my opinion, it is not client friendly at all. Very disappointed in the changes.

Order was delivered too late, and a whole burger was missing. In addition, we had ordered the deal of 2 chicken salons with two colas. The chicken salon had hardly any fries. Mostly cut chicken pieces, lettuce and sauce. So even with the discount, you pay 9€ for a cola, some chicken pieces and lettuce, and maybe 4 fries.

Dirty place, especially the toilet. I ordered a new kapsalon at KFC but it seemed small to me. I ate at den bosch at KFC before and it was bigger.

Came here for dinner at 10:10 PM, the restaurant is open until 11:00 PM. When we entered, the entire restaurant was already closed and almost all the chairs were on the tables and they were already mopping the restaurant. We had ordered and wanted to eat it there, when we indicated this when our order was ready, the bearded employee became angry and hit the counter with his fist angrily. He ripped the drinks out of the bags and literally threw the food on the tray. Afterwards it turned out that we had not received a deposit slip, when I asked this employee about this he became angry again, threw the mop on the floor and started swearing in a foreign language. It took a lot of effort to get my deposit slip, but I know one thing for sure, I won't be coming back here again. It seems normal to me that you can eat at 10:10 PM in a restaurant that is open until 11:00 PM.

Waited 1h for them to just cancel the delivery once it was too late for me to get food anywhere else.

Hopeless branch of KFC in the center of Nijmegen. There's a Cook walking around with a beard who just sits on his phone and swears. And when he does do something, he makes his head turn like an earworm. A sweet lady behind the counter who is nice to everyone. He deserves kudos.

The tenders were without chicken, the crunchy burger had little chicken and the fries were not crispy. In addition, I absolutely had to take the cup with a one euro deposit. The service was slow, couldn't get a smile from the staff. The depression was contagious.

Dirty food shed... Atmosphere gets 2 stars because of the location -> Food really nothing to speak of, cold... Burger was a kind of plastic thing you were eating and fries were cold, tasted like cardboard and a lot of salt... reusable cups that were not clean... worthless!!! Don't go if you don't want to waste your money...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic experience at KFC! Yesterday I went to KFC and I have to say: what a great experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt good. The restaurant was clean, had a nice smell of freshly fried chicken, and the service was top notch. A special shout-out to Qasim, who really excelled in customer service! From the moment I placed my order he was super friendly and helpful. He took the time to advise me on the best deals and even recommended that I get a menu that gave me more for my money. Really top service! When I had to wait a while for my order, Qasim checked whether everything was as desired and had a nice chat. You don't see that often in fast food restaurants anymore! He really made me feel welcome. The food itself was of course as you would expect from KFC: deliciously crispy chicken, perfectly seasoned and served hot. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the sauces made it perfect. My order was complete and neatly packaged, and I didn't have to wait long. In short, thanks to Qasim's good service and the delicious food, I will definitely come back here. KFC is lucky to have such a top employee! If you eat here, I hope Qasim helps you too – he really makes the difference! Recommended!

Ordered food, had to wait very long. Food not complete, cold and we pay for plastic cups, then get paper cups. The phone is also not answered when we call, so we end up having to drive to you to get our food. We can now pay for parking costs and petrol costs and of course the delivery costs for the delivery person. Top service, but not really.

I wanted to return deposit cups, but because I didn't have a receipt, I didn't get my deposit. When I said that I wanted to keep the cups, the employee said that I would still get my money. After handing over the cups, she said that I wouldn't get any money back, but she kept the cups.

Ordered food here and picked it up, they forgot to make my food so I had to wait a very long time. There was hair in my chicken, I got a bucket and 6 of the chicken pieces had hair in them. When I tried to call them, of course they didn't answer.

Plan at least 35 minutes before you receive your meal, to go or eat there. It always takes a terribly long time and then you are lucky if your order is complete.

I had a delicious meal at KFC, a tasty sandwich, prepared quickly, nice service, very satisfied. I've been there a few times now. I've always been satisfied.

And they still charge money for it.

Fries thin. Pay extra for mayonnaise, small chicken pieces with a big fat ball of flour around them. Not for me.

I just had dinner with my comrades at the KFC in Nijmegen, and we enjoyed it so much! It was really a taste sensation in my mouth. If you ask what I think of this KFC, I say tasty. But if you ask on a deeper level: this store means the world to me. The staff always wears a smile, they make my day complete. The store is beautiful, I painted my house in the same colors. Tonight just after 8 p.m. I wanted to eat with my daughters at KFC plein 44 in Nijmegen. Half the restaurant already cordoned off, tables clean and chairs on the tables. You were no longer allowed to sit there, even though it only closes at 11 p.m. We turned around and went to eat somewhere else with my daughters.

The staff, pff, acted as if they had their hearts in their shoes, found each other more interesting than customers

We ordered 2 box menus here, it took a very long time before we received the food and then it finally arrived, the burgers and the chicken pieces were cold and really unedible, it was that dirty, dirty stuff also inside regarding the tables bah bah I threw everything away and walked away, never coming back here again.

The interior looks good, but there is little atmosphere. The staff seems almost disinterested. There is little question of friendliness. The food itself is well prepared and tasty.

I'm a user of KFC but here I had the worst experience ever! Paid for large french fries and got a normal one, the chicken was cold, they didn't return the 1€ for the glass, the machine was broken and the staff didn't not answer when I talked to them, completely rude!

They don't wear gloves here, so it's not trustworthy in terms of clean food. The ordering machines aren't all working, so you need to wait a long time until you get to order. At the cash register, you can only pay with cash. Good food though.

Food ordered at 6:30 PM was only delivered 50 minutes later than the 20 minutes stated. Once the food arrived, the order was incomplete. There were 3 things missing. After trying to contact the branch after calling 13 times, there is still no answer. A complaint has now been submitted to Thuisbezorgd.nl and on the KFC website. Now let's hope I get my money back. Very dissatisfied with this poor branch.

They refuse to sell extra topping for the ice cream.. only a little bit on the top and half is just cream.. kfc used to have the best ice creams, not anymore :(

It is not fast food but slow food . The girl with the black hijab Russian like , in the counter looks like she does have a nice life , looks angry and depending on who you are or look like ask you for the receipt ( black person - she asks / white person - she doesn’t).

Thought we would sit down at this KFC this afternoon (9/16/24). But it's so dirty here. All the tables that were available were dirty, there was even trash under the tables. You were literally stuck to the ground with your sneakers. And if it was really busy, you might think there is no time to clean it.... But there was almost no "chicken" (to use KFC terms) in the place. And yes, sorry, but if the "restaurant" part looks so dirty, then I don't want to know what it looks like in the kitchen. So we immediately walked away again. I hope they do something about it, because the other reviews don't lie either!

It seems like a den for loitering youth, all youth who shout and swear with the K word and the like. There are 2 boys constantly going to the toilets. The staff also doesn't dare to do anything about it. They just let it escalate between the hanging youth and customers with a 1.5 year old child to whom a can was thrown. This is really not possible, they should close this store quickly

Amazing looking restaurant and great food, but a bit pricey and a lot of people which makes the service kind of slow at peak hours.

Slowest service in the world, even when not busy. 30 min wait when only 3 other people in the restaurant. Staff did not apologise when I raised the time of the wait. They also have the audacity to charge 70c for use of the toilets which were not clean or stocked with hand soap.

Unfortunately I cannot give 0 stars. I've been waiting for my food for over half an hour and it hasn't arrived yet. Burgers have also been ready for half an hour, in that heated container. They work so slowly there. Are they cleaning trays instead of preparing orders? What a bad tent!

The children's menu is very limited

There is little to say about the food, you either like it or you don't. The standard is lukewarm, but it still feels warm compared to the tomb atmosphere that hangs in the establishment. Everything feels dirty, sad and gray. The atmosphere in a funeral home feels warmer. I come from the catering/hospitality industry myself, but I wouldn't want to work here for even 2 minutes, for any offer.

The refund for the packaging can only be done through a Tikkie App, the app requests an IBAN NL (Netherlands) 🥵 Terrible. Any tourist loses deposits during their stay
