Super cute little Thai snack bar with seating. We came here on a recommendation and were absolutely not disappointed. The food is delicious and authentic. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine; there's nothing to complain about. This certainly won't be our last time here. We'd love to come back.

Fantastic! My girlfriend had fried rice with vegetables (a bit spicy, but perfect for Europeans). I had Pad Thai with chicken, and both were perfect for me. We will definitely come back; it was by far the best Thai food I've ever had.

Every dish is freshly prepared with love and passion; you immediately taste the quality and passion. The chef personally came to our table, asked us questions, and made us feel at home. As a special gesture, she even offered us small spring rolls on the house—a sign of true hospitality. I was there with six residents with disabilities, and everyone went home happy and satisfied—the highest compliment for me. This experience was simply unforgettable, both from a culinary and human perspective. Warm regards to the wonderful ladies in the kitchen—Thai women who cook with heart and soul and make this restaurant something truly special!

The food was consistently freshly prepared: the shrimp soup was very spicy, but a vibrant and exciting flavor experience. The chicken noodles and the tofu curry with rice were equally delicious and well-balanced. The very friendly and welcoming service, which rounds out the visit, deserves special mention. The prices at Khao Thai are also absolutely fair and reasonable. Overall, a great place for authentic Thai food in the city center—we'd love to come back!

Very delicious food. We had Pad Nam with beef and Pad Thai with vegetables. The vegetables were really crunchy and everything was very well seasoned. Not too spicy, just right for us. The service was also very friendly. We would gladly eat here again.

A welcome change after spending several days enjoying exclusively Dutch frying. This Thai restaurant impresses with aromatically balanced dishes that are authentically seasoned and very well-balanced in flavor. The spice level is pleasantly spicy, but can be a bit intense for inexperienced eaters. A quick note to the waiter beforehand doesn't hurt. The main courses are all priced at €16 and offer generous portions with a choice of meat or tofu – a pleasingly clear and fair pricing structure. Added to this is the very friendly service, which makes the visit a pleasant experience all around. A clear recommendation for fans of Thai cuisine.

One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever visited. The menu offers a variety of Thai dishes, but isn't overcrowded with countless variations. You can tell that the chefs here focus on their best dishes, and they're very good at them. The Curry No. 9 is super spicy, intensely flavorful, aromatic, and authentically hot (they ask about your individual spice tolerance when ordering). They don't skimp on either the taste or the portions. All main courses come with a choice of tofu, chicken, beef, or shrimp as the main component. This comes with a portion of rice. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. For €16, you'll not only be full, but you'll also be completely satisfied with the flavor. Last but not least, all the staff are friendly, courteous, and very attentive! If you want exceptionally good Thai food, you should definitely stop by here!

Simply amazing!🤩 We walked past the restaurant a few days ago, but today, after reading all the good reviews, we actually stopped in. And it was so worth it! It was the best Thai food we've ever had. It was spicy (we both had the No. 9) but incredibly delicious. The staff/owners were also super friendly and kept checking on our well-being. Everything was super quick, too. While the price of €16 per dish might put some people off at first, the portions were very large and more than sufficient. We would come back again and again and recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants delicious, authentic food☺️

Ordered several things, the food was oke'ish. After I got home from ordering take away I found out the tom kha kai soup I ordered (and paid for) was missing and the pad thai I ordered (without onions) was filled with onions. I gave them a ring and the owner told me that I could return the pad thai and get a refund (great solution.....)

If you want to eat really good food, this is the place to be! Since they moved it has only gotten better because you can now sit in their little takeaway. Do that and see how loved these ladies are compared to all the tourist restaurants in Zandvoort. But most of all enjoy the delicious smells coming from their open kitchen while they prepare your food.

We were initially skeptical about whether the reviews were authentic, but after our meal, we understand why the restaurant has so many stars. For us, it was the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. We're staying here for four nights and will definitely come back!

The food is really mega delicious, the service is as it should be, (but unfortunately not everywhere anymore) hospitable and with a smile. At the time we were there it was really busy, but the waitress kept walking calmly and with a smile. The food didn't take long at all.

We went to the restaurant to eat. This was no problem, as there are several tables where you can sit. The staff was very friendly and always available to provide excellent advice. Even when we had questions about the ingredients, they explained everything to us and even showed us the fresh, unprocessed ingredients. Small, simple, Thai snack bar/restaurant. Small but fine menu. The dishes all cost €16. You can choose between various types of meat or tofu. The sauces are super tasty. I ate numbers 5 and 8 there, traditionally. Joar was really nice and spicy, but in such a way that all the other flavor nuances still came into play. The portions are absolutely sufficient. The satay skewer is also highly recommended. The imported beer was also well received by us. Once we sat outside in a rustic way, the second time, because it was too cold, we sat right by the window in the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. Very nice operator.

What can I say, this Thai snack is an integral part of our Zandvoort vacation. When the store's first location closed because the building was demolished, we were so incredibly sad. Now about a year later, the shop has been open again since May last year and as always, top quality and particularly delicious!!! I wish the operators all the best and can only recommend a visit. The red curry cannot be compared to anything I know, so good!

Friendly and welcoming staff with a chill atmosphere. The food was cooked by a Thai lady and the Pad Thai is delicious. The portion is good, full for one person. Overall, it was a good experience for me.

Simple but tasty and very warm operators. We know many Thai restaurants from Berlin. This one doesn't have to hide there! Is more geared towards take away. But we had a delicious meal there with two children.

Really very good Thai snack bar on Schoolstraat in Zandvoort. The wait for two dishes was over 20 minutes on Sunday evening, but it was worth it. It was really very good and plentiful. We will definitely come back next time we visit Zandvoort!

Addendum August 2024: New location and seating options in and in front of the restaurant! Addendum September 2023: New prices, this time we had to wait longer than usual. The new prices are fine since they are large quantities. However, the Thai basil was missing from my dish. Absolute must-food when you are in Zandvoort. Very tasty food and very friendly cooks. You can also pay by card and the food is ready super quickly (15-20 minutes for 2 dishes).
