A simple, decent reply may not sound like much, but in truth it makes all the difference. Kim’s Kitchen didn’t just answer, they did so politely and with genuine consideration — a rare thing these days. What struck me most is that, even knowing I come from Ukraine, their tone never shifted into that awkward distance or forced politeness you too often encounter elsewhere. Instead, it was natural, respectful, and welcoming — the sort of response that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than an afterthought. It’s a small gesture, yes, but it speaks volumes about the way they run their business. For that alone, five stars are well earned. If only more places carried themselves with the same courtesy and professionalism, life for customers — wherever they come from — would be far more pleasant.

Our first time at Kim's Kitchen, but definitely not our last. The food was delicious! Kim is the only one in the kitchen... so hats off to her. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for dinner.

Upon arrival at 6:30 PM, we asked if we could have dinner at 8:00 PM. The answer was that it should be doable, especially if we chose the surprise menu. After a while, we received our drinks and the menu. At 7:30 PM, we received our starter. When we noticed just after 8:00 PM that we hadn't received our main course yet, the answer was that I'd lost track of the time, but we don't compromise on quality. At 8:15 PM, we received our main course. Dessert arrived immediately afterward, at our request, and we were able to leave around 8:45 PM. The food was good, but not amazing. We weren't the only ones who had to wait a very long time for our food that evening.

Zeer lekker gegeten en erg vriendelijk. Op de terugweg van een dagje vrienden gebeld of er nog plaats was ondanks het personeels tekort die avond werd er geen nee verkocht alleen gezegd dat het even zou duren maar met een vol restaurant en dat ze maar met zijn tweeën waren ging het toch redelijk vlot. Gaan we er nog naar terug…..jazeker al moeten we er apart vanuit Limburg naar toe rijden.

In a good atmosphere we had a nice meal with family. Kim came to have a nice chat, about her family. With a satisfied feeling we went home again.

We had dinner here this evening. We were a table of 4. The couple who own this restaurant are so lovely and the lady is from Phuket herself, the food was amazing. All made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Had chicken green curry and mango sticky rice. Just epic.

I have had take-out from here several times and have always been positively surprised. Chef Kim cooks the stars of Thai heaven, everything is very fresh and so tasty. Host Bert is very friendly and likes to think along with you. Price/quality ratio perfectly fine.

A small-scale restaurant that is just a little bit different, with noticeably fresh and therefore tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere. Good price/quantity ratio too. We ate there on time because we were going to a concert afterwards, but we can imagine that a full restaurant requires a bit more patience. But that is the downside of the fresh preparation and the service by the owner himself. Just go and experience it once!

For authentic Thai food you have to be here! We were warmly welcomed by the host Bert, a friendly man who took the time to go through the menu with us, and also took the time for a nice chat. The food was delicious and freshly prepared by his wife. They take the time to prepare the food, but it is all worth it! Quality takes time. And that for a couple of 65 and 71, hats off to you.

I looked on the internet in Zaltbommel and saw a Thai with a high rating and rave reviews... Now there was no exaggeration, very tasty, freshly prepared, for me with lemongrass, for my partner without, for me with noodles, everything TOP! After 2 bites I walked to the kitchen and ordered 5 dishes to take home, soooo delicious. We will definitely be back!!!

A very good restaurant. The parents-in-law are very attentive and will adjust according to your taste. The mother-in-law can speak Chinese. The couple is very friendly. I recommend it to everyone and praise it!

Voor dit restaurant inmiddels een paar keer een half uurtje in de auto gezeten. Het eten is overheerlijk, Kim kookt de sterren van de hemel en haar man Bert bezorgt jou aan tafel een fijne beleving. Geen haast, geen stress en altijd in voor een praatje en uitleg over de Thaise keuken. Alles wordt vers en naar jouw wens mild, pittig of héél pittig bereid. Omdat alles vers, ad hoc, wordt gekookt, kan met alle allergiën rekening worden gehouden. 2 x met een grotere groep geweest en Kim zelf laten bepalen welke gerechtjes ze ons wilde presenteren. Man, man, wat was dat een verwennerij. De reservering voor volgende maand is alweer gemaakt😄!

Gisterenavond voor het eerst bij dit restaurant geweest en het was een leuke ervaring. Het eten was erg lekker, pittig en minder pittig. Wij hadden een actiemenu, maar wanneer we weer eens terug gaan dan bestellen we van de kaart, want die zag er geweldig uit. Alles smaakte vers. De kokkin kwam gezellig even een praatje maken en kon veel vertellen. De sfeer was ongedwongen en relaxed. Er zat een stel te eten wat 2 x in de maand in het restaurant komt eten. Dat zegt toch genoeg. Hier gaan we nog eens op herhaling.

Food wasn't bad, but not more than that. Furthermore, amateurs. Man and woman playing restaurant together? Atmosphere 0.0. Waiting 45 minutes for a fried appetizer such as a Vietnamese spring roll as you get at the market within 2 minutes. Then waited another hour for the main course which was also mediocre. First time and the last time we eat here or order something. Then had to pay almost 100 euros. Rarely have I experienced such a great deception in a restaurant.

Mooi oud pand met horeca echtpaar. Hij in de bediening en Kim in de keuken. Ik had heerlijke seafood hapjes vooraf en duck met rode curry als hoofd. Heerlijk allemaal. Bij het hoofdgerecht had de eend wel wat meer mogen zijn. Zeker gezien de prijzen die gehanteerd worden. Ouderwets afrekenen op papier opgeteld. Vriendelijke mensen en met kok Kim goud in de handen.

We had a delicious meal. The restaurant is located in an old monastery. Instead of 4 There were only 2 staff members due to illness and vacation. This meant waiting a little longer, but that was not a problem for us. The waiter was friendly and enthusiastically explained the history of the building. The cook came to the table to ask if the food tasted good. Don't expect a fancy restaurant. The atmosphere fits Thai and the food tasted delicious.

We often drove by and tried it once. We had spring roll with shrimps and minced meat in puff pastry. It was freshly made. Then we had noodles with beef. It was great. Lots of beef and vegetables. Very tender. Nothing to complain about. We had shrimps with red curry and We ate this white rice with 2 people, it was more than enough, we personally thought it was still too much, everything tasted good and was fresh, it takes a little longer, but after that you have fresh and delicious food, keep it up!!

Goed authentiek eten in een ongedwongen sfeer

Dit restaurant gekozen op basis van de reviews op TripAdvisor het viel ons helaas tegen . De ober adviseerde, de keuze van de kok. We kregen eerst 3 stokjes lekkere saté en daarnaast 6 kip vleugeltjes die zeer droog waren (opgewarmd) Moesten vragen naar bestek want dat was er in 1e instantie niet bij. Ik had een lokaal biertje en mijn vrouw een tonic. Het hoofdgerecht was garnalen voor mijn vrouw met noodles en oosterse groentes en ik had een curry met rijst, smakelijk voor beide maar geen uitschieter. Het toetje was een stukje ijstaart, duidelijk uit de supermarkt. Voor ons was het niet bijzonder, 68 euro betaald, in onze optiek 20 % te duur

Prima restaurant! We werden heel vriendelijk geholpen en er was een ruime keuze aan Thaise gerechten, waaronder ook lekker veel vegetarische mogelijkheden. Het eten was echt heel lekker en verder weinig poespas of opschmuck. We hadden helaas geen tijd meer voor een desert, anders hadden we dat ook graag geprobeerd.

Excellent food prepared by the loveliest Thai lady (speaks 7 languages incidentally) and served by her Dutch husband. Excellent atmosphere and typical historic building scent in this converted town library. Well worth a visit while you're in this friendly historic town.

Het was onze eerste keer bij Kim’s Kitchen en zeker niet de laatste. Bijzonder verse en smaakvolle gerechten!

Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening was super. De mensen waren super vriendelijk en het restaurant was schoon en je zat er heel gezellig, echt een aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten. Vooraf loempia's met kip en vishapjes met zoete en pittige sambalsaus. We hadden rundvlees met verse groente en gember. En garnalen.met verse groente in vissaus. Met rijst. Erg vers en knapperig Mijn man had een Thais biertje erbij. Daarna een lekkere speciale koffie. Vriendelijke eigenaar die bedient. En zijn Thaise vrouw die heerlijk kan koken. Gezellig zitten. Echt een aanrader.

Zeer lekkere authentieke Thaise gerechten, door SocialDeal via een High Cocktail met hapjes er terecht gekomen, uiteindelijk een extra cocktail en meerdere gerechten bijgebesteld omdat het zo goed beviel. Bovendien gerund door één koppel wat heel hard werkt! Zeer vriendelijk bediend ook! Een echte aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van echt Thais eten of voor degene die dat wilt proberen!

Super lekker vers eten, iets langer wachten maar dat is juist de charme met de Thaise muziek op de achtergrond. Viskoekjes zijn 10/10, zeker de moeite.

Lieve mensen en mevrouw Kim kookt zalig. Man Bert serveert. Gewoon gezellig👍 We waren op Woensdag, dan is het rustig, weekend goed bezet. Uitgebreide kaart. Zij kookt echt country style, zo lekker als het ook in Thailand smaakt ! We hebben gesmuld. Komen terug!

Het eten is goed. Echter de gastheer zeurt teveel over zijn persoonlijke omstandigheden en laat de klant te weinig met rust. Je komt hier voor een gezellig etentje en niet niet voor persoonlijke problemen van de eigenaren. Jammer.

Vandaag hier gegeten. Wat een lieve mensen. Kwamen beide een praatje maken. Alles wordt vers bereidt door de vrouw van het koppel, en alle wensen waren mogelijk. Ze doen erg hun best voor de gasten. Wij zijn aangenaam verrast en komen zeker terug. Echt een aanrader. Groetjes
