Delicious chicken dishes - prepared with care

I called ahead to say my partner and I have a milk allergy. We got a meal with cheese on it, and I couldn't taste anything but cheese. I tried calling for an hour, but they suddenly wouldn't answer. We spent €40 on two meals that we had to throw away. Such a shame. Edit: I've since gotten my money back and spoke to a really nice guy. Don't order from Uber Eats here, just order through their website and don't give yourself a headache.

We ordered a burger and a pita. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back soon.

I waited two hours (!!!) for my order last week. I called twice and was told it would be here soon. The chicken was fine, but definitely not worth the wait.

The half chicken was wonderfully tender and well-seasoned. The Crunchy burger was also very crunchy, which is sometimes difficult at other restaurants. The wings (sesame terrikyaki) were tasty on the outside, but a bit bland on the inside. The fries were also generous portions for the price. I ordered late at night, but the meal was still delicious!

Got food poisoning from this. I was vomiting for two days and spent it on the toilet. It's pretty scary to imagine what the kitchen must look like and how the food would be treated, judging by how sick I was. I would definitely skip Kippig.

It took over an hour, the food was cold, and our fries weren't included. When you call the restaurant, they lie, point to the delivery driver, and "that's it." We did get our money back.

Good hot chicken, the sauces and fries are delicious. The blue cheese is especially recommended.

NOT satisfied at all. Cold or poorly reheated chicken from yesterday or even earlier. A nice, warm and tender chicken is almost finger-licking good. THIS Chicken could have gone straight into the rubbish bin. BAH Addition 5-5 in response to company response: Quality control may need to be introduced OR (at least) better implemented. As I read it, there are (too) many (very) bad reviews here.

Great tent, great food and really nice and customer-friendly employees. The food always arrives hot and crispy! I have been a regular customer here for a long time and will remain so for a long time! Thanks for the delicious food and the good care! I recommend everyone to get food here. It has never disappointed!

We have been waiting for our food for an hour and a half. Poor communication and had to call twice. No compensation or compensation. It was supposed to be delivered at 8 and it is now 21:35

Really worthless. You pay almost €45 for 2 chickens and some fries. Chicken is dry and fries are cold. Never again!

Best chicken in Utrecht, the rest of Utrecht has no new ideas of flavors. Kippig tries and innovates in my opinion. Tip order via their website, everything works much better than Uber and delivered to your home

Favorite place to order from. I always order takeout so that the food is nice and warm and the food is ready quickly.

We ordered chicken burgers and fries. The buns were almost burnt, the chicken patty was ok. The main problem was the oil in the fries which tasted quite bad, as if it hadn't been changed in a while... The quality needs to be improved.

Had a delicious meal again at Kippig, my favorite takeaway place! The fries, nuggets and Caesar salad were delicious, as always. I'll be back soon!

Delicious, super tender and juicy rotisserie chicken!

The food is just mediocre if not bad. The price you pay for the quantity and quality you get is outrageous.

Sad intention. The chicken that was delivered was very cold. After calling the company, we were told that they are not liable for anything that happens during delivery. During the call it was indicated that profits would be lost if we wanted to have new, warm chicken delivered. We were told to order again. Very customer friendly! In any case, I will never order from here again.

Kippig heeft de beste kip van Utrecht, duur maar heerlijk vers, goed warm, sappig en licht pittig gekruid. De ceasar salade van wel €4,75! echter blijkt een heel klein bakje sla met zurige (bedorven?) smaak. Die bestel ik nooit meer.

Kippig was always one of our favorite take outs but unfortunately the quality and quantity decreased over the last year a lot. I know inflation is hitting hard but increasing prices a couple times and half-sizing the dirty fries (everybody was still hungry and we arent that big of eaters) still seems not fair to the customers. Our last order came with multiple errors/missing extra toppings of the dirty fries and the kip nuggets were way overprized for the fact that we found 4 small ones in a kinda sad paper bag :( 2 stars because the taste is still good but I hope the rest changes to the better again.

De paar keer dat ik bestelde zijn ze meestal best te last laatste keer waren ze dik een uur en twintig minuten te laat maar ze hebben wel lekker eten

Ontzettend goede ervaring gehad bij restaurant Kippig. Vriendelijke man die goed weet wat hij op de kaart heeft en die graag wil helpen het zo fijn mogelijk te maken. Het eten was heerlijk en origineel. Restaurant is gezellig en er is een wall of flame met een hotwings challenge! Erg leuk.

Hele lekkere dirty fries, en zo nu en dan bestel ik er ook een halve kip. De marinade van de kip smaakt af en toe wel eens anders, zo was deze de laatste keer wel heel erg pittig. Voor de rest een hele goede zaak!

Het was werkelijk waar: geweldig. Wij hadden de kip-kapsalon, het was echt om je vingers bij af te likken. Daarnaast willen wij een speciale review schrijven over de medewerker. Hij was in zijn eentje een hele zaak aan het runnen. Iets waar minimaal 3 man hadden moeten staan, en alles zonder moeite. Topvent! Hij verdient loonsverhoging. Helaas weten wij zijn naam niet.

Lekker gegeten een goede makkelijke/snelle hap buiten de deur. We kregen een borrel aangeboden om te proosten op het 8 jarige bestaan! We komen zeker nog eens langs als we in Utrecht zijn.

Hier uitstekend gegeten. De kip varianten zijn heerlijk. Lekkere frietjes, ook in diverse varianten. Gezellige ambiance, goede bediening. Goede prijs / prestatie verhouding. Komen we zeker terug.

Beste rotisserie kip in Utrecht!

Bij Kippig Rotisserie ga jij je buikje rond bikken naar je kindertijd. Omdat zij zelf de sauzen bedenken en vers bereiden zijn de smaken om je vingers bij af te likken. Dit maakt de hele beleving nostalgisch! Bezorgt goede bodem voor een avond uit maar ook verrukkelijk als herstel voor alle sporters onder ons! Want het is ook nog gezond met de biologische bijgerechten en eigen recepten.

I had a roast chicken craving so i searched up the best roast chicken in Utrecht. Kippig immediately popped up as one of the top option. I called to make an order and the lady on the call was quite friendly. We ordered a whole chicken and a truffle fries. The whole roast chicken is pretty decent but it is a little expensive imo (20e for whole chicken). It would have been better if they also provide the chicken juice with it, because it has all the essence in it ! The truffle fries are really delicious though so def recommend! I will continue to look for the best roast chicken in town. And before i found it, i would totally come to this place again when i have roast chicken cravings 😋

Ik vond het niet bijzonder. De friet bij de ‘loaded fries’ waren slap en niet doorbakken. De kip stukjes waren vrij smaakloos. Kip was wel mals en sappig. Daarnaast best duur voor de porties die je krijgt.

Just moved in down the street and decided to try. Very yummy food and helpful friendly staff. You can smell the chicken from down the street! Highly recommend as I will be returning for more.

Xi xi is geweldig. Haar kennis van acupressuur en acupunctuur is heel goed. Zij heeft me echt geholpen met meerdere blessures!

Super lekkere kip! Ik raadt de kippen vleugels aan, de burgers zijn naar mijn mening niet je van het maar de vleugels maken dat meer dan goed. Zelf haat ik zoete aardappelen maar mijn vriendin vindt deze super lekker, dus dat zal dan wel zo wezen.

Ik ben absoluut verzot op kip uit de oven. De hele kip die bij Kippig had besteld was echter veel te zout zoals dat zo vaak gebeurd in Nederland. Verder mals en goed bereid. Niet meer dan 3 sterren daarom...

If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Kippig, you will know it. The delicious smell of roasted chicken floats through the air like a dream. You get closer and see the chickens roasting right by the doorway. So far I have tried the half chicken, wings, chicken Caesar sandwich, zand grilled kabobs. They have all been amazing. If you are looking for grilled or roasted chicken, look no further.

The food is soo amazing! One of my favourites from Utrecht! The caesar burguer is sensational, and the wings are truly delicious too!. It is particularly friendly due to the happy staff and the outstanding service :) . 100% recommended!
