We ordered a high tea with sweet treats. Each person received a delicious brownie, a small iron cake, a lemon meringue tart, a quark fruit tart, and a muffin. Everything was delicious! Very clever, gluten-free and dairy-free. And very affordable at €5.95 per person. The bread (regular white bread) was also good, though it didn't have that typical gluten-free taste.

This is an absolute must if you need to avoid allergens! I've had excellent experiences with the buckwheat sourdough bread! Delicious! It's 100% worth buying there.

This was the second time we ordered a cake. Due to various allergies and a reaction to food I ate on my birthday, I asked via chat what was in the cake. I also indicated what I could react to. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response, so I had to leave my birthday cake. Unfortunately, the first order in 2021 was also difficult about disclosing the ingredients. I expect a baker with allergens to be able to indicate which ingredients are used. You can also react to the substitutes. I won't be ordering again.

Drove a bit to get gluten free oliebollen and apple beignets. Was definitely worth it. (Almost) indistinguishable from the real thing.

As someone who views developments in the vegan field with interest but critically, the first introduction to Van de Bakker products was certainly pleasant. The tompouce I had was in good condition. Although the puff pastry had a slightly different bite than regular puff pastry, this tompouce is in the top 3 of tasty tompouces that I have eaten (followed by a much longer list of non-vegan tompouce that were much lower in quality). The piece of chocolate with which the tompouce was decorated also tasted very good. Something that surprised me because I have not yet tasted vegan chocolate that felt so creamy. Also compliments to the friendly staff in the store.

It's so fantastic to be able to get gluten-free bread, pastries, cookies, and other delicious treats here without any worries! It's a real treat. My daughter, who has multiple allergies, including gluten, milk, lactose, and soy, is still amazed that she can eat everything from this bakery. The service is also excellent. And how wonderful it is to be able to find themed treats here during the holidays, like oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) and appelbeignets for New Year's Eve, or orange cream puffs for King's Day. They also offer themed birthday cakes, and everything is equally delicious. Our visitors don't even realize they're enjoying their meal with us, allergen-free.

The owner makes everything herself, I ordered a lactose-free Christmas loaf. 100% natural without storage chemicals.

I don't like to write a bad review, especially not of a company that thrives on love and enthusiasm. Yet I can't write a better one here. This is a part-time store that is very creative with recipes, not to mention pricing. Croissants made of bread dough, to name just one. I'm not sure if that's worth the 2.75 they cost. The only thing that can be said in their favor is that they are made without bread improver or other chemical additives. That's why they advise to eat them before the sun goes down, because by midnight they are older than Hammurabi and harder than the heart of Bashir al Assad. In short, definitely try what's here, but eat it as quickly as you can and be prepared to pay in gold. We have to be careful with this business, the pastries here can be used as a water barrier when the sandbags run out.

Redvelvet taart besteld voor verjaardag van mijn partner die coeliaki en lactose intolerantie heeft. De taart smaakte heerlijk bijna niet onderscheiden van echte taart.
