Super delicious food! Fast service. Definitely recommended!

I hope the owner takes this review somewhat seriously. I'll write about both the positives and negatives because I want to be fair. We went on Friday at 4 PM, and it wasn't a busy time. First of all, the restrooms were spotless. The complimentary tea was a nice touch. The Adana kebab was truly above average, by Dutch standards. The side dishes were generous. The stuffed meatballs were a bit thick, but the filling was delicious. (The middle was slightly cold, but I didn't send it back. This needs attention.) Things that need improvement: 1. It's a scandal that a place claiming to be from Gaziantep sends sweet chili sauce instead of lemon with the stuffed meatballs. 2. There are serious problems with the service. Appetizers and stuffed meatballs were brought to the table. The serving plates didn't arrive. My friend got up and asked for them. Instead of bringing the plates to the table, the waiter handed them to my friend 😂 When we were leaving, the lady at the door would have seen us off without even looking at us if we hadn't thanked her. 3. The sunflower oil in the salads needs to be changed to olive oil, and what's added as pomegranate molasses is a very cheap glucose syrup. This is unacceptable at a place that charges €25.50 for kebab. 4. The dark-haired lady at the door repeatedly asking guests if they had a reservation, saying "That table for two is not suitable, please move here" in an almost empty place, and even scolding another guest in front of us, saying "Why didn't you tell us if you had a reservation?", was unpleasant. 5. The lack of flatbread with the kebab portion is unacceptable. (Thankfully, the lady offered one flatbread, which is normally charged extra.) There's nothing to wrap the kebab in, but there are french fries and mayonnaise on the table. Okay, we're not in Gaziantep, but what's the point of potatoes, yogurt, and bulgur pilaf with the kebab? It would be much better to remove the potatoes and just provide flatbread. 6. The Gaziantep hazelnut lahmacun wasn't bad, but it wasn't in the Gaziantep style. I'm not a kebab chef, but as a chef who has consulted for many establishments and worked in the kitchen for 20 years, I normally share the feedback I've given above for a fee. I wrote this much because I love Közde and would like to come back, but under these circumstances, I don't think so.

The food was delicious! We received quick and friendly service, so we barely had to wait. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Definitely recommended!

The restaurant and ambiance have a Turkish feel. I ordered the mixed grill, which was really too much for one person, and it came with salad, appetizers, chips, and french fries. I recommend trying the desserts with free tea after the meal. Ms. Gülşen and the other staff were very attentive. Definitely make a reservation in the evening as it gets very crowded. Also, parking is free and you can find a spot.

The atmosphere was lovely, the setting was warm and carefully decorated, with elaborate Christmas trees. The food wasn't bad either; although I occasionally encountered raw meat, overall it was fine. However, the service was poor. The waiters didn't know what they were doing, and when you tried to order, they wouldn't even look at you or pay attention.

Kuzde Arnhem is fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere and service, but manager Gulshan truly steals the show. Her hospitality and ambiance make this restaurant special. We'll definitely be back!

The food at Restaurant Közde is truly delicious, especially the pide – that's always a reason for me to return. The quality of the food is excellent and always tastes good. Unfortunately, the service is consistently poor. The staff is often disinterested, unfriendly, and seems to pay little attention to the customers. I always decide not to go again, but because of the food, I give it another try. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing. It's a shame, because with better service, this could be a top restaurant. I really hope something is done about this.

The chicken was especially delicious. We also had soup, french fries, pita bread, and burgers, and they were all good. Then tea. We are now in a period where prices per person have increased from 10-20 euros to 20-30 euros.

Delicious food and customer friendly, highly recommended

This was our first time at the restaurant. We ordered Adana, Urfa, and lahmacun. The Adana was delicious. I can't say the same for Urfa. We requested a change, and they were happy to oblige. The lahmacun was crispy, but there were more vegetables than meat, but we still enjoyed it. The appetizers served before the meal were delicious and ample portions. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you :)

We went to Közde for dinner for the first time yesterday with a group of 17 people. We wanted to thank you for everything you did. The food was delicious, and the staff was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Theirs is the most expensive restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was awful and tasteless. I paid €209 for two hamburger menus, one small mixed grill portion, and four lamb chops. I wouldn't recommend anyone else eat here. Never do.

We ordered a mixed grill for two people. The meat was tender and deliciously seasoned. But the tapas... they could have been a bit more generous. Perhaps they could make the portions a bit larger and also add something for 2-3 people. The strawberry cocktail was delicious, as were the desserts. I definitely recommend it if you're near Arnhem or going shopping. The BEST PLACE. I'll definitely be back.

The food was good. The homemade Ayran was excellent. Because it's a good restaurant, there were many guests. One minor drawback was that the seating was too close together. Kudos to the chef.

The food is good. The appetizers are also good. The price is a bit high. I recommend the lamb chops.

It looked like something when it first opened, but it's since deteriorated significantly. No liver, no Urfa kebab. The menu offers beef, lamb shish, and Adana wings, but they're not good either. The beef is cubed, each cut into large slices. It's not cooked through; you can cook it as much as you like. The food is inedible. Four people won't pay less than 100 Euros. Don't go unless you absolutely have to.

Went there for the third time today and, as always, it was fantastic! The food always arrives super fast from Adana to the Beyti, everything was delicious.

We had a wonderful meal at Kozde. All dishes were equally delicious. The clientele was predominantly Turkish, which gave us the feeling of authentic Turkish food. The service was extremely friendly and helpful in making our choices. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, but because it was a fairly large room and completely full, it was difficult to have a conversation with the four of us. We definitely plan to return. The meat was tender, but the flavor was somewhat bland. My 12-year-old son found it quite spicy, even though he's used to it. It was a shame the smoky smell was overpowering; it felt like the meat had been put on the grill too early, while the charcoal was still burning black instead of a beautiful white-gray and glowing. This detracted from the pure meat flavor. The portions are good for the price (30-40 euros), and the desserts were delicious—especially the soğuk baklava. The katmer was a bit plain in both preparation and flavor. The atmosphere was nice, the service friendly and hygienic. All in all, a reasonable experience.

When we arrived, there wasn't a place to pray, which was very upsetting. Normally, all restaurants have a place to pray. I hope you'll arrange a place for us to pray when we arrive. We're coming from Zaandam. We'll be there at 5:00 PM, God willing.

Two days ago, my wife and I were in Arnhem. We decided to go to Közde restaurant for dinner. We had received a recommendation. We placed our order, but it arrived incorrectly. We'd already noticed while ordering that we didn't quite understand each other, but we hadn't paid much attention. Ms. Mehtap helped us. We were both surprised and laughing, as we all sensed something was wrong. Ms. Mehtap felt very embarrassed, even though it wasn't really her fault, and that also made us a little embarrassed. She offered us some extras. Finally, our orders arrived, and everything was delicious. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, even though it took us a while, it became a wonderful memory for us. Our thanks go to everyone who contributed, especially Ms. Mehtap.

Great place, delicious food, good tea and baklava

I recently dined at Közde Restaurant. The food was good and definitely left me wanting more. However, there were a few notable issues: the staff seemed a bit forgetful at times; part of my order arrived late, and I had to ask several times for my bread and drinks. Furthermore, the boys' restroom was disappointingly clean, though that's probably mostly due to the patrons themselves. Since this was my first experience, I don't want to be too harsh. It might have just been a coincidence that day. All in all, a mixed first impression: good food, but there's still room for improvement in some areas.

I sadly got food poisoning from the icli kofte. First time they brought it they were not even hot, after a bite I noticed it was still frozen from the inside. The second time they came out they were hot yet a tiny bit frozen still. Stupid me still ate them and got sick :(

The food wasn't high-quality and was served very quickly, giving me the impression it was reheated. I don't understand why they charge €2 for Turkish tea; that's "on the house" at almost every other restaurant. The Katmer was very tasty, though. I wouldn't go back, especially considering the price-quality ratio.

The tastiest Adana dürüm in the Netherlands! I had the delicious beyran as a starter, generously filled and delicious! Ezme and haydari were also perfect! I was expecting kaşık salata to round it out. The Çiğköfte as an extra is definitely recommended!

The Patlican Kebab was amazing! Tip: Serve the bulgur rice separately on the table, just like the fries. I also preferred the yogurt on the side. Finally, I recommend Közde to everyone. Közde is the perfect place if you want Turkish food (I thought I was in Gaziantep for a moment).

Was not expecting to find this quality in Arnhem. Pide was really good. Saw that they have stone oven thats why I ordered it and it was a right decision. Soup was also really good and bread.

Very good place and wonderful food

My kids are regulars here, but I ate here for the first time tonight. But I regret not having gone sooner. Since I wasn't very hungry, I ordered pide (Turkish flatbread) and it was delicious. While waiting for my order, the warm bread and complimentary appetizers they brought were delicious. The Antep paste was especially delicious, and I was curious and even asked the chef about the ingredients. The friendly lady serving me saw that I had finished the Antep paste and asked if I wanted more. Upon my request, she brought me another. The chefs who bring burnt pide in Antwerp and say, "This is how meat needs to be cooked," should come here and learn how to make pide. I hope I'll go back one day for kebabs and katmer. Thanks to the friendly staff and chefs.

The reception was nice and the order was served quickly, but the meat was not cooked. Honestly, it will not be repeated.

Top, had a pide and Adana, Mega nothing to complain about and next year gladly again

Five stars? Far too few! If I could, I'd give it ten! We had a feast with Adana, lamb kebab, fındık lahmacun, and top-notch mezeler. Everything fresh, everything delicious! And that bread... I still dream about it. The service? Super fast, super friendly, and with a big smile. My wife and I felt like we were sitting at a table with family. In short: you don't just eat here, you enjoy it. We'll definitely be back!

You constantly get strange, and sometimes dirty, looks from the staff and other customers because you're not Muslim. Plus, if you sit outside, it's hard to hear each other because of the shouting customers and the din of the many cars passing by. It's also located on one of the busiest streets in Arnhem South. Unfortunately, they clean the food there with products containing pork fat. So, definitely not halal, but haram meat. Too bad for the Muslims who think it's halal.

The breakfast is good, not bad, but unfortunately there is zero customer service. There is an atmosphere in the restaurant that says "just eat and see what you want."

The food is delicious. I've been here once but found them unfriendly. After dinner, we wanted dessert, but they asked if others could sit in our spot because they didn't want to sit near the door. We found that question so rude that we didn't order dessert. We never went there again after that. A missed opportunity for them.

The grilled meats and pitas are delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. Plus, your order arrives piping hot in no more than 10 minutes. Don't go without an appointment, especially on Friday and weekend evenings. It gets crowded.

Waited 20 minutes for our food, 1 menemen and 1 soup. Final score asked where it went because 20 minutes is quite long while there is an open buffet so nothing else is being done in the kitchen, we hear that they are only now busy preparing it? 1 soup 1 menemen.. soup lacked herbs but menemen was tasty.

Had a great meal at Közde! Everything tasted super fresh and traditional - you can really taste the love for the craft. The service was lightning fast and incredibly friendly, really great. From our spot we also had a nice view over the roundabout, which was surprisingly cozy. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for good and honest food, without fuss.

The food at Kozde was good, but not special enough to justify the high prices. I paid €37 for a mixed grill and €26 for a chicken grill, while you pay around €16 at comparable restaurants. The interior has more the appearance of a diner than a luxury restaurant, while the prices do suggest the latter. Good food, but not worth repeating given the price-quality ratio.

Saturday 7 June with a friend at Közde for the first time. At that moment we were the only Dutch people, a good sign for me! If the place is filled with only Turkish people, that means to me that the food is good and nothing could be further from the truth. Haven't eaten so deliciously in a long time! The lentil soup is delicious, really recommended. The meat is perfectly prepared. The baklava with the Turkish ice cream divine!! I can't name anything negative. Service super nice and showed us everything that was possible. Definitely recommended!! 5 stars for me☆☆☆☆☆

My new favorite restaurant in Arnhem!

Best service in all of Arnhem. And the food. WOW.

I celebrated my birthday today with a group of almost 20 internationals from everywhere in the world! We were all impressed not only by the amazing food, but how welcoming the staff are! We all felt welcome and we ended the evening with a full belly and happy heart. As a Brazilian I can assure 100% that this is the best meat I've ever tasted in Netherlands! You can taste the culture and dedication of the chefs! Which i also feel the need to mention that the chef gave us a free taste of a delicious baklava with milk and Turkish tea! Thank you very much to all the team! You guys are doing great!

It gives me one of the best Turkish Grill restaurant experience in NL, highly recommended.

Never again! We found a beast/insect in our food and that was of course already disgusting and scary. But what made it really annoying was how the owner dealt with it. Instead of reacting with understanding, he was rude and didn't even offer a new dish. No apologies, nothing. So no second time for us.

Super ! Fine & delicious Antep@ it’s best

The food is really good, we have been there before and the place was full of guests. Now it was quiet even though it was a Saturday night. The service was mediocre, we had to ask for the attention of the staff and they knew little about the offer. We also wanted to order the mocktails but were told that they had forgotten to buy the ingredients for it, a shame for a Saturday night. It was a dinner on the occasion of a festive something but a bit of a disappointment because of the lesser staff and no mocktails. Hopefully better next time.

Restaurant was recommended to me by my hairdresser originally from Iraq. The food was indeed delicious, reminded me of Turkey, fresh and served with delicious side dishes. Friendly service with humor. No beer, not even alcohol free :) Adan super tasty. Baklava was also delicious, sweet but not too sweet. Definitely worth going back again.

We are new in the neighborhood and this is definitely such a nice place to go for special occasions such as dates or family weekends! The price is 100% worth the food! Beautiful atmosphere, service very nice! Even though we don’t speak Dutch, they helped us and served us with very nice attitude 😊 you will definitely see us again!

Service was fast, but food was ok

Today we ate at Közde. The meat, fries and salad were delicious, but you really expect better baklava from an Antep restaurant. We had havuc dilim and the dessert looked like a supermarket baklava. Not fresh at all and little taste. Someone from Antep should really get the best baklava! Too bad about the ending.

So the Lahmacun, Icli Köfte and stuffed grape leaves, really world class 👍

I ordered a burger to go. As a result, I received pearl barley with meat and potatoes. I discovered it when I arrived home. Either the order was mixed up, or the staff was so “attentive”. Don't set foot here again.
