Krijn Verdoes in Katwijk aan Zee

For our daughter and son-in-law's wedding on July 9, we, as parents, ordered the wedding cake from the Verdoes firm. Our wishes were carefully noted, and the cake was delivered to Wantveld on July 9. The surprise was wonderful! Everyone present fell silent, at how stunning the cake looked. The taste was also surprising. All praise to the staff at Verdoes Bakery. J. Loonstra Leiden

Normally we always enjoy going to Krijn. The ice cream is good and they scoop generously, but nowadays €2.50 for such a meager scoop—sorry, I find that really absurd.

Krijin Verdoes Banket Bakkerij is an excellent pastry shop with the best ice cream in Katwijk. There are no long lines, and the service is fast. A large scoop costs €1.70, two scoops €3 – the more scoops you buy, the cheaper the price per scoop. You can choose between a cone or a cup. Hygiene is very high here. There is also a large selection of cakes and pastries. For parking, I recommend the Boulevard Zeezijde parking garage, where the parking fees are the cheapest.

We only bought gingerbread and nuts with caramel and chocolate here. It is a beautiful store with friendly staff. Everything looks delightful and professional. The chatters are nowhere tastier than here, GREAT! And the nuts with caramel and chocolate are not to be missed. Real quality!!! Recommended.

There aren't many like this anymore. Real craftsmanship and top cakes and ice cream. Opijnen in Amsterdam used to have this same level. I worked there. So recommended if you are in Katwijk.

It was too late for a photo. Delicious chocolate balls with mocha hazelnut filling. This is highly recommended. The lady who helped us is also extremely friendly. Definitely worth repeating if you are in Katwijk again

Fantastisch ijs, er zit geen mindere smaak tussen.

Het lekkerste gebak van heel Katwijk vind je bij Krijn Verdoes ook ze ijs is perfect en niet duur.

Een top bakker. Heerlijke producten die er heel aantrekkelijk uit zien. Speciaal voor ons werd een grote polonaise gebakken. Zag er prachtig uit en smaakte heerlijk. Een fantastisch toetje van ons kerstdiner.

Heerlijk ijs in creatieve smaken!

Al jaren maken zij de heerlijkste slagroomtruffels en dan de hazelnootchocolade bol .... of de stroopkoeken ... of teveel om op te noemen. Je betaalt misschien iets meer, maar het wordt allemaal ambachtelijk gemaakt in de bakkerij achter de winkel. En het is zooooo lekker!!!!!!

Heerlijk ijs en in de winkel fijn en goed geholpen. Stroopkoek en zeebanket gekocht maar nog niet geproefd.

Eerdere reviews hebben niets overdreven: pistache-ijs met echte (hele) pistache nootjes...en 1 bolletje is 1 grote bol...de lange rij voor de winkel is het wachten dubbel en dwars waard!

Al jaren een vast onderdeel van fietstripjes door de duinen: ijs halen bij Krijn Verdoes. Uitstekende smaak, goede textuur en grote bollen! Eerste kwaliteit!

Hier probierten wir verschiedene Eissorten aus, und ich muss sagen, für holländisches Eis war es überdurchschnittlich gut. Zu empfehlen sind die Fruchteissorten, intensiver Geschmack nach Frucht, leider für meinen Gaumen mit zu viel Zucker, daher nur vier Punkte. Der Preis ist auch im oberen Segment, dafür sind die Portionen recht groß. Das Eis sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
