Food is really really good. Personnel very nice and polite. They served very fast. Will go back! I took the paneer butter masala and it was superb, with the last soup on the menu and a garlic Naan. Super satisfied!

We travelled all the way from Deventer to this restaurant and it was more than worth it. An amazing place with a legit Southern Indian cuisine! Great atmosphere as well. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious food, completely in the Indian style. I've been searching for a good South Indian restaurant for a while now, one that reminds me of my Indian vacation. This was spot on!

The food—I had the Rava Masala Dosa—was truly delicious. The taste and quality are excellent. The restaurant itself is quite quiet, which I appreciate, although it does lack some ambiance. The interior could also use a makeover; everything looks a bit dated, and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. The restrooms could also use some cleaning. I understand the restaurant is currently in a transition phase, so I assume these issues will be addressed in the future. Otherwise, it's absolutely excellent, especially thanks to the excellent food.

Simply good Indian food. The atmosphere is a bit lacking with a few spotlights and orange chairs, but the flavors are genuine. The restrooms could definitely use a refresh/renovation – the paint is peeling here and there. But if you just want delicious Indian food: go for it.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and the chutneys were always stale and bland

I had a take away from the restaurant. The taste of the food was really bad I had malai kofta and it was just kofta put in cream sauce. Mint chutney with samosa taste like its made 5-6 days ago. On top of the bad taste, they forgot one part from my order and I had to go to the restaurant again to ask for it. Really bad experience. As an Indian, I dont recommend it for at least north Indian food.

If you are a South Indian and are confused which Indian restaurant to eat at, then let me assure you this is your place. The sambar vada and the Ghee roast was authentically yummy. The server was a very kind and professional young man. The location is quite central. Thanks!

South indian dishes are good. But anything else is very bad. We ordered Paneer Manchurian and it was totally fake paneer made with palm oil.

The food is always great. Had idli/vada combo along with Mysore masala dosa and onion chilli tomato uttapam. Uttapam was really nice. The place was quiet so some music can add a vibe.

Ishar and Baljeet are the most beautiful host I have ever seen in Eindhoven. Great food and good taste.

I used to really enjoy dining at this restaurant, and one of my favorites was always the Signature Dish – Chana Bhatura. It was consistently delicious and something I would look forward to. Recently though, I’ve noticed that the taste and quality don’t feel quite the same as before, and at the same time, the prices have gone up. It would be wonderful if the restaurant could bring back the same flavors and quality that made the dishes so special earlier. I truly hope this feedback is taken in the right spirit, as Krishna Vilas (now, krishna ahaar) has been one of my go-to places in the past and I would love to see it continue to shine

We had an amazing meal at Krishna Aahar Eindhoven. I’ve been a fan since I tried their Utrecht branch, and Eindhoven definitely lived up to the hype. The South Indian thali was full of flavor, the chole bature hit all the right notes, and the tiffin combo was breakfast heaven, idli, dosa, vada, sambar… all on point. Don’t skip the mango lassi and filter coffee either, so good. Service was super friendly, the staff knew their stuff, and the vibe was cozy. You can tell they really care about the food and it shows. This place is officially on my repeat list. Thanks Krishna Aahar for the deliciousness.

It’s a complete vegetarian restaurant. Amazing food. Above expectation. We had Masala Dosa while the kids had vegetable fried rice. Both the items were lip smacking. Everyone at the restaurant are super courteous and polite! Looking forward to one more meal out here before leaving Eindhoven!

I ordered Stuffed Paratha and it was really delicious and tasty. The waiter who take my order was really kind, he even explained to me main base ingredients and what to choose for my dish. The waiting was really short, so if they improved that serving time is nice. I must say I visited when there were few clients.

Makeover in progress..despite that, good food and good service and we were served quickly. You do miss a bit of the coziness of the past, there is no name of the restaurant at the moment because the old one is no longer current. Would definitely go and have a look and enjoy the food.

Extremely disappointing experience at Krishna Villas Eindhoven – not just once, but 4 times in a row. Today’s visit was the worst yet, marked by unprofessional and outright rude behavior from the staff. Despite making a reservation over the phone and clearly confirming all details (based on prior poor experiences), things still went wrong. We were told to place our entire order at once – which we did. Yet, not all items were served. We specifically requested and confirmed add-ons (extra cheese) with the chef, agreeing to pay extra. Still, the food arrived without it. When I raised this as my fourth bad experience, the staff casually responded: "It’s your choice if you want to come or not." Absolutely unacceptable. That kind of attitude towards a paying customer shows a complete lack of professionalism and care. This visit was not only disappointing for me, but also embarrassing in front of the guests I brought along. The food was good, could pay a little attention to the ambiance of this place.

Its unfortunate that they closed before their closing time, as mentioned on their website. We love coming here and their food, but if you do not want people to come, please adjust your timing on your website. This is the 3rd time we have come hoping to at least get a parcel at 9pm ( the website mentions 9:30pm is the last order) to only being told the chefs have closed the kitchen by 9pm We understand that they would also want to leave on a non-busy day, but please update your website and google time then. We come with hope only to be disappointed.

Was one of my favorite restaurants in Eindhoven, but lately the prices have gone up a lot and the quality seems a bit less. Price-quality ratio is gone. Too bad.

Ordered online on their own site, but still had to wait 25 mins to get my order. They didn't even try to make it up. Communication was also not transparent. I think they started preparing the order just when I walked in. Food was okay, not bad but not amazing.

Giving 1 as I can't give 0. One of the worst experience ever. Went there with two kids. Because of a travel group, they said all south indian dishes are closed. I mean if you can't handle to serve regular people while handling a travel group, either close the restaurant or take off the board saying "south indian vegetarian dishes". Bad management and bad bad service. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone and whoever is reading this comment, please look for another restaurant and atleast eat in peace and eat what you would like instead of naan being thrown at your table with some basic curries. The best Indian restaurant in Eindhoven and surroundings! You shouldn't go there if you value the atmosphere and look of the restaurant, but the food is great! Extensive menu with dishes from all over India, everything vegetarian and many vegan. The masala dosa is my favorite! It is always busy, with mainly Indian people inside. That says enough, right?

We ordered two South Indian meals, but the experience was disappointing. The puri was extremely hard with a strong smell of reused oil, while the sambar and rasam tasted stale. The peas kurma had an unmistakably old flavor, and the curd was overly bitter. It was clear that the meals were not freshly prepared. The dry cauliflower Manchurian was passable, but the parotta was noticeably stale. None of the dishes were fresh, making it a complete waste of €60.00. Definitely not returning.

Nice option for Indian food North and south indian . Staff was very helpful. Food taste was good. They don't accept Amex card and cash , that is bit disappointing .Location was good near to Eindhoven centraal station . Recommend for Indian food but you should have any other card to pay .

Yesterday my parents went there for lunch. The food was pathetic, sambhar was so bad. Dosa was still okay, but the chutneys were bad. Uttapam was so bad that my father just left it. The chinese was also really bad. Service is really bad.

I went on an evening and ordered Mirchi bajji and filter coffee. Filter coffee was good. Mirchi bajji was okay & I did not like much. Near to City Centre and station. I have no recommendation as I didnot try much food here. I can say that you can give it a try based on experience with other Krishna vilas branches.

Service slow and bad. We had planned on trying many things as we were many people, but we did not at the end. Everything except the naan bread was bad. Way too greasy, way too salty, even for indian food. Never again.

I was hoping to eat some authentic South Indian food. But seems like it’s qn Indo-Chinese restaurant. Chef please make a note: Tandoori mint chutney doesn’t go with idli & dosa tiffin combo. Plus the Traditional South Indian tagline is misleading the European customers.

Being a south indian restaurant, south indian food was sub par. North Indian good was not great either. Service was really poor, probably because they seemed visibly understaffed. Priority was given to food delivery orders. Food comes out of the kitchen in random order which did not really make much sense. Overall a poor experience considering much better alternatives are available.Not going back again.

it was good. Now they spoiled the place with miss management. Now even some of the staff are very unwelcoming, unruly. Last time i brought my visiting family and was quite ashamed that they served dosa which is really really sour. Hope they improve. It's one of the worst Krishna Vilas i know now.

Nice place for Indian breakfast

Located very close to the central station, this is the only pure vegetarian restaurant offering amazing food. The breakfast options are delicious in the morning, though in the evening, some items like idly are reheated. The noodles, poori, dosa, and rasmalai were all excellent. The ambience is quite decent, and the food is great, but the service is noticeably slow.

Waited almost 2 hours for an order to be delivered. Called twice. I was spoken to very indifferently... first time that it was on its way... 2nd time after I had indicated that it was no longer necessary. Something was mumbled that the amount would be refunded. No excuses, no explanation....NOT REPEATED!

It's a good place for the convenience of the location. The food honestly can be much better especially the south Indian dishes like dosa which was super oily and the sambar was subpar, the coconut chutney definitely stole the show for me. The north Indian dishes are good but again there's a lot of growth of taste that is possible.

I’ve visited Krishna Vilas a couple of times and have had mixed experiences. On one occasion, I ordered Vada with Sambar, but unfortunately, the vada was as hard as a rock. It was so difficult to break into pieces that the sambar splashed all over me in the process. I was extremely disappointed with the texture of the vada. I’ve also tried their idli and dosa, which tasted fine, but the chutney seemed almost spoiled, which didn’t contribute positively to the meal. On a brighter note, the Chole Bhature and Gajar Ka halwa was really tasty—definitely the highlight of my visits. The masala chai was also great. While I’ve had some positive moments at Krishna Vilas, the inconsistency in the quality of food is something they need to work on. As we are away from home/India, places like Krishna Vilas should offer a comforting, familiar experience. Repeated disappointing experiences are truly disheartening.

Bad service. Doesn’t matter if you make reservation or not. Still make you wait and not attentive servers. Empty tables but no one seated us. Total wait time was 45mins.

Semi regular visitor here. Usually good food, consistency is the problem. Quality of chutney varies from delicious to inedible. Chhole Bhature is usually fresh and good.

I am downgrading this from 4 stars to 2 stars. Had the Mysore masala dosa and the masala was super dry and tasteless, the dosa not cooked well and worst of all, beer wasn't cold enough. I like going to the Hague branch, but this meal was a complete disappointment.

The food is tasty, the interior looks quite cheap and it can be very busy. I waited 10 minutes for someone to see me to ask for the bill. If you reserve in time, you'll be fine!

This reminds me of a fast food restaurant in South India, with plenty of vegetarian options. I always make it a point to visit whenever I’m in the Netherlands.

We went to have dinner today and was totally disappointed. First of all the food was bland and I could not really taste any of the flavors. Also they served Vada which seemed like it was one of those frozen vadas as the inside was cold and hard while the outside was brown and crispy… really disappointed… I will not be visiting here again.

Full marks for Customer Service and Ambience. The South Indian items were not good especially the Chutneys. They are definitely not Tamil Nadu. I am sure the chef himself won't eat this food. Tap water charged at 2 euros is another joke. They have a long way to go to improve the taste of South Indian food

This is the first time I’m visiting an Indian restaurant in The Netherlands, I must say I would never visit one again. The food was horrible. I ordered a uthapam which is a South Indian dish, the side dish for it was too bad that I couldn’t eat it at all. The quality has to be improved.

I dont understand why this restaurant only has a 3.9 rating. I visited India many times and I can tell you the food of this restaurant is good! It deserves a minimal 4.5. Great flavours, quick service and not overpriced. Its about the food and not so much about the atmosphere. Take good company with you and you create your own :)

Despite the fact that the furniture on the terrace suggests otherwise, it is a wonderful restaurant with friendly staff. People will quickly come to you to order, but if you don't know it yet because they offer such a nice, extensive menu, that's no problem. They think along with you when it comes to ordering dishes. Lots of lovely traditional dishes and flavours. Child friendly with high chairs available. Neat toilets. We will definitely come again!!

The food we ordered was really not fresh. I had the South Indian Thali, it tasted very stale. Too bad, because I've eaten here before and it tasted good. The dish that was recommended to us (samosa chaat) was fresh and delicious.

I didn't like the ambience. And the starter was not good. The paneer was stale. Dosa was fresh. Obviously. The good thing is it is in the city center. They can do better. Quantity of sambar is very less. I remember in sangeetha restaurant they give you unlimited sambar and chutneys...

Food wasn't fresh or warm, we had ordered Idli vada sambar, it was cold when asked they answered as it's made in morning. We had ordered banana bajji it was warm with ok ok taste. Vada pav was good when compared to other's. South Indian thali was also cold except poori.

Let me start with positive. The 2 dishes we could say OK was pani puri and dehi puri. I am not saying it was too god. Better than the other food we had. The other not so bad food was gobi 65. We also ordered Sambar vada and dosa. The vada was very hard and the sambar was too watery and tasted bad. We complained to the manager and they took it away and did not charge. Then came the Dosa's. It was too sour and the oil tasted very bad. All together it was a very bad experience. I will not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant.
