My first experience of visiting Indian cuisine. In principle, I was not disappointed. Very polite pleasant service and a nice atmosphere. As for the dishes, they were well prepared. It was not spicy. I was satisfied.

Today we picked up some delicious food, super quality and very friendly staff!

Nice place, good food. Waited a bit much for food to be serviced

Have picked up food here a few times in the past period. Unfortunately they always seem to have an excuse why you often have to wait (much) longer than they indicate. Food is tasty, service is mediocre, atmosphere in the restaurant is outdated. Portions could be a bit bigger, is on the small side. Especially because it is a bit more expensive.

Eten erg slecht. Alles drijft in schaaltjes vol met saus waarin je op zoek moet naar overgare groenten of vlees. Bediening is erg slecht. Na een uur moest ik vragen waar ons eten bleef. Vreem dat ze dat niet in de gaten hebben als ze steeds langs lopen. Het was zogenaamd druk maar toen wij om 18 uur binnenkwamen waren wij de 2e klant. Smoesje dus, ze waren ons gewoon vergeten. Echt een afrader dit restaurant, jammer van het geld

Very much delay with the order about 45 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. That was all of 30 minutes to prepare it. Many dishes with a lot of salt. Disappointment for sure, also for the price.

Great place, very pleasant atmosphere, great food and friendly staff.

The taste was not bad. We ordered paneer tikka and brinjal bonda as a starter and was very disappointed. Brinjal bonda was very very less in quantity, it was not worth at all. Paneer Tikka should be served in barbecue style but instead it was served like a curry.

I ordered Chicken Tandoori and Lamb Tikka, and what I received was completely disappointing. The so-called “Lamb Tikka” looked nothing like proper tikka—it was just a few random pieces of meat with no real flavor or proper preparation. As for the “Tandoori,” it was simply chicken with some masala thrown on it, nothing like authentic tandoori. If you can’t make proper food, please don’t take orders and deceive customers. This is nothing short of a scam. Absolutely unacceptable!

Recently taken over, the taste and service have become particularly bad. If you order phall sauce I will receive some salty sauce that is inedible. Always used to eat here, it's a shame it has been taken over. They won't see me there anymore!

We ended up here by chance. Actually I thought I had made a reservation with the neighbors (Veera), via The Fork. But the food was excellent. Very tasty. Paying took some effort, because the promised discount was not properly calculated. It was also strange that a second round of draft beer could not be served. We've run out of laundry, so we order an Indian beer from the bottle. The price/quality ratio was excellent, especially once the discount had been calculated.

I ordered food as a friend reccomended this restaurant. The food was not good at all and was undersalted and underflavoured. The food was later returned to the restaurant and they refused to give a replacement item and when asked for a refund they said to ask it from Thuisbezgord. A refund was never issued. First and last time here for sure.

Upon arrival we immediately receive a bowl of delicious papadums with 3 sauces, 1 spicy red, a smokey brown and a fresh white. The drinks came quickly. Even though it was quite busy (Friday evening) and home delivery employees regularly came to pick up food (it's good that they can sit and wait warmly inside), all tables were quickly provided with food. We could have been asked a little earlier whether we liked it and whether we wanted to order something to drink. The food was delicious, at the right temperature, tasty, fresh, nicely presented. In terms of atmosphere, it could have been looser and happier. I found it a bit stiff and tense at times. The light in the large dining area is a bit bright, which makes it less cozy. Overall a good dining experience.

The chef has changed now it seems , the food isn’t the same as it was earlier. I had a lot in the past it used to be good .

We have had a disappointing experience here. When we arrived and ordered, it was still quiet in the shop. Still, we had to wait over an hour for our food, and when it was finally served, it turned out to be the wrong order. Our attempt to discuss the remaining wait time with the waiter yielded no response. In addition, the food was mediocre. The butter chicken, a dish I had high hopes for, was too sweet and lacked the signature depth of flavor this classic Indian dish should have. All this negatively affected our evening. We tried to make the best of it for ourselves and created our own atmosphere and conviviality. Unfortunately we will not consider this restaurant again in the future.

Delicious food...and not expensive

We have been to Touch of India a few times and this was the second time that something went wrong with the kitchen. Ordered at 7:00 PM and the starter arrived at 8:30 PM and the main course at 9:35 PM. We were not kept informed, every few minutes a home delivery person came in. They all went out with bags. 6 tables around us were also annoyed that they weren't getting anything to eat. 1 table left without eating. The gentlemen serving left it all to the lady to process the complaints. The second time this happens to us. We got our food and the chicken tikka were all small pieces and very little. Furthermore, the taste etc was delicious. We have decided not to go anymore. This restaurant should focus on takeaway because the restaurant guests are really shortchanged....

Delicious Indian food! It’s ridiculous to see low reviews for whatever curry that comes out of this kitchen. Finger licking good. Cannot wait to visit again. The ambiance is a bit dated, but for me the food makes up for it 🙏🏻 If you are looking for some comfort food. Go!

Despite we being late, they were very accommodative and decent food

We have been coming here for many years. This is our go-to place for Indian Dine-in in Eindhoven. Today we had Chicken Balti, Lamb madras, Naan, Rice and Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious. Staff was also very welcoming. Thank you!

Perfect Indian restaurant. The Chicken Butter is delicious!

I recently visited this restaurant with my colleagues, and we were all blown away by the food! The grilled dishes were especially outstanding, packed with incredible flavor. Each of us ordered something different, and every dish had its own unique taste, leaving everyone at the table satisfied and impressed. It’s the perfect spot for team lunches or group events. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious, well-crafted food!

We went just before the closing hours and the staff was very friendly and keen in providing all that we ordered. Food taste is good not great, much of it is North Indian style. But everything was cooked then and served really hot and fresh.

Regular customer for more than 20 years. The food is delicious and you will always receive friendly service. The interior has not changed in all these years, but we think that is part of the charm. The rear part is the most pleasant place to sit.

The restaurant is not very cozy but we thought the food was delicious. The Chicken Madras is super tasty, we would love to come back for that! With naan bread with garlic in it, delicious. View of a busy intersection, so always something to see.

Food was very tasty, atmosphere could be better and the staff was okay, maybe ask the guests if they enjoyed it!

It has been a 10/10 for me. I got there for the fork, and a little doubtful because of the rating it has on Google, but it has become a super Indian food experience. Few such restaurants have provided me with such good taste in Curry, Birianyi, Garlic Naan. Everything was really excellent, and the service was super attentive and fast.

Finally a restaurant that makes delicious naan like in the tandori oven in India. Portions were very generous. Service was in English but friendly and polite. Very cheap, especially because of the discount via Fork.

The food here is always super delicious. Very friendly people. The interior is a bit old-fashioned and it is not a restaurant for having a nice drink, but the food is delicious.

Hebben weer eens Touch of India bezocht. Het was teleurstellend. De porties waren klein en bevatte weinig kip. De eigenaar is ook niet vriendelijk naar zijn personeel en klanten. Dit was de laatste keer.

En primer lugar, estaba satisfecho con el camarero tamil en el restaurante y él era muy bueno en su trabajo. Profundamente decepcionado con la comida. 1 . Biryani no era biryani sino arroz vegetal pulao. Fue una gran decepción. 2 . El ajo naan ni siquiera era un naan indio. Era más como un naan congelado que una tienda {no naan indio hecho en horno de arcilla}. 3 . El entrante era bueno, Sonth Chutney y Green Chutney eran auténticos. Nunca he vomitado después de comer fuera de la comida, pero hoy fue mi primera vez y la comida era tan mala y no auténtica comida india. La pregunta no es si no está a la altura, sino que ni siquiera estaba a 100 millas cerca de la comida india. Por favor, véndelo como comida no india y yoir listo para llevar. Pasé por fork app con 50% de descuento pero eso no significa que la comida no deba ser buena. Quiero decir que mi crítica es específicamente sobre el sabor de la comida y ser no auténtico. No se trata de precio o servicio o establecimiento en sí.

Made a reservation by telephone and informed them that it would be my partner's birthday. Asked if they would like to provide a small surprise with a candle after dinner and according to the male employee this would be no problem. In the end nothing was done with it and afterwards I asked why not. Out came a lame, unsincere excuse. A restaurant that does not want to distinguish itself and wants to focus on how it should be compared to other restaurants. Missed opportunity and you won't see us again. You get what you give, so here's a 1 star review.

My favorite Indian for 30 years!

After the restaurant changed owners, it deteriorated sharply. Booked a table yesterday, it took a long time before someone came to ask if we wanted something to drink, then ordered food, waited more than an hour before being served even though the restaurant was not full. Food also tastes different. Ordered a korma, it was full of pineapple even though this was not listed as an ingredient on the menu... unfortunately will not return after years as a loyal customer.

Very tasty food. We had the restaurant on our list for some time. And it was definitely worth it! Will definitely come back for more “taste” :)

I would recommend it 100%. The food is succulent. The waiters are super nice and very pleasant. We went there for my mum's birthday and without us asking for anything, my mum was given ice cream scoops, a candle, a birthday song and kind words from the waiter. I have very fond memories of it.

Had a bite to eat here on Monday evening at half past six. I found contact with the staff a bit awkward because they spoke English and NL at the same time. Staff was very friendly. Opted for the Dall tarka (as a side dish), the onion bhajee and a garlic nan. Tastes delicious! Atmosphere: not particularly decorated in the part where I sat. The takeaway is at a kind of bar where quite a few people pass by, which is a good sign. Music is nice, not too loud. I'll definitely come back to try a curry when I'm in the area. Thank you. ✌️

Beware! Do cross check your payment. I went for a pickup and I’m sure I was intentionally charged more. When I asked for the bill there was already a hesitation but then she gave me a payment receipt and not actual invoice. I knew something is wrong. When I asked for full invoice it took them 10 mins to print one because they had to adjust the price to match the charged price. Then I showed the price in the menu and I was told we added sitting charges to it. Well there is no extra sitting charges. Attaching the receipt for everyone reference. Positives: Biryani was okayish, seekh kebab not. Ambience is okay. Enough space.

We ordered late night because other restaurants were closed. The price was more expensive, taste was okay, but the amount was less than half for one people comparing with any other restaurants. The rice amount was more than sufficient, it's the main where we experienced miser behavior. When we let them know about it, they offered us 30%discount for next order, well we ain't going to order again for such small Quantity average food anymore. Our ordere was Butter chicken and Tandoori Chicken.

Spice of India is an absolute gem! My partner and I had the most delightful dining experience there last night. The ambiance was inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely divine. I couldn't get enough of the Lamb Rogan Josh, it had just the right amount of spice to tantalize my taste buds. Meanwhile, my partner thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb Dhansak, which was packed with flavor. The starters were a perfect way to kick off the meal, each dish bursting with tasty goodness. And to top it all off, the prices were incredibly affordable, leaving us pleasantly surprised with €30 less than expected on the bill after drinks (we had t actually seen drink prices)

One of the best Indian restaurants hands down. We loved it so much that we went two nights in a row for dinner. Both nights my husband and I were wowed with the quality and kindness of the owners. All in all, a great place to eat when you are traveling and have to eat out.

Excellent in all respects. Firstly, the treatment is elegant, especially the woman in charge of the restaurant. Her treatment was professional. The food is delicious and has the quality of Indian flavor and the quantity is excellent. The prices are acceptable and fair. I will visit again, God willing.

We had a great meal with our 13 year old son who loves Indian food. The food was really flavoursome and the service was friendly and attentive at all the right times. We had onion bhajjis, chicken tikka, masala, biriyani and peshwari nan. We couldn’t fault anything. Very highly recommended!

Na onze terugkeer in Eindhoven wilde we hier steeds nog een x gaan eten. Gisterenavond was dat dan een feit. Buiten het feit dat het lang duurde waren wij verrast hoe je met zoveel bediening zo weinig oog voor je gasten kunt hebben. Toen wij een tweede biertje bestelde stond er een schoon glas op het dienblad. Toen ik mijn gebruikte glas wilde aangeven werd me door de serveerster duidelijk gemaakt dat ik het ook voor dit biertje maar moest gebruiken. Niet heel erg maar vond het toch vreemd. Daarnaast bezit het restaurant voldoende rechauds die op tafel gezet zouden kunnen worden en voor zorgen dat het bestelde eten wat langer blijft. Bij de Touch of India dienen ze als decorstuk blijkbaar.. Als het personeel de gast echt een leuke avond wil bezorgen vraag bv even wanneer gasten hun naambrood willen krijgen? Vertel met passie over de lekkere gerechten en adviseer. Jullie kunnen er zoveel meer van maken. Nu hebben we gewoon wel lekker gegeten maar heeft de desinteresse van het personeel de overhand gehad. Volgende x gaan we ergens anders genieten van deze keuken.

Last weekend the three of us went to eat at Touch of India again after a long time. The restaurant was full so we were glad we made a reservation. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the tender tandoori chicken, the spicy lamb biryani and the mild butterchicken with peshwari (coconut) naan. We also had a variety of starters and ice cream for dessert. My husband thought the lamb biryani was a bit too spicy, so he would try something different next time. My daughter really liked her favorite butterchicken. The service was excellent. Despite the crowds, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The service was friendly and attentive. We were warmly welcomed with papadum and various sauces, a thoughtful gesture that you don't often see anymore. We were very satisfied with our visit to Touch of India. It was a pleasant and tasty evening. We will be back soon and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Reserved 6:00 PM 14 people. Starter at 8:30 p.m., main course at 9:30 p.m., dessert at 10:45 p.m. No one from the staff even came to say that things were running late. 1 round of drinks from the company. The food was delicious. Starter and dessert for €31.50. When paying, there was still a correction that the dessert was missing. There were several tables that received their food late. Too bad they don't have things in order. Thanks for the feedback. But we are still very dissatisfied and angry about the way things are going. What's the reason it took so long? The wait staff is of course not primarily responsible. We ate at a fast pace. so you cannot enjoy the food optimally at all.

Just make sure you have a few sandwiches at home or you'll go to bed hungry. Portions are bizarrely small

Unfortunately, my food was very disappointing last weekend. Hopefully this was a one-time setback. I have loved coming to Touch of India for years, both to eat there and to take away. It was actually always one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Eindhoven. But last weekend the food was really disappointing. I ordered vegetable kofta: - The curry was a very small portion: 3 small koftas in a very small amount of sauce so I ate most of my rice dry - The koftas were very dry, especially at the edges. The gravy had a good taste. I have eaten this dish many times at Touch of India and normally I always found it delicious and the portion size for takeaway was also fine. Like I said, I hope this was a one-time setback.

Ended up here with a friend on a Monday evening because most places where we wanted to have a bite to eat were closed. Didn't regret it. The interior is not quite to my taste, but these (new) owners plan to give the interior a new look. Yet we sat comfortably in a cozy corner with the idea that not many other guests would come on Monday. It became quite busy during the evening. Apparently many regular guests have known where to find this place for a long time. Delicious food and certainly not too pricey for what we all got (Vegetarian menu with starter, main course and dessert. The service was very friendly. In short: in our opinion, highly recommended.

The restaurant's journey includes a refreshing mango lassi (3/5) and an excellent chicken tikka (4.5/5). However, the meat samosa lacks meaty flavor (0/5). The chicken biryani, despite well-cooked chicken, has too much turmeric, and the potato curry is average (2/5). The fish curry disappoints with excessive oiliness (1/5). It's a mix of highs and lows, with the chicken tikka standing out, but improvements are needed. Bon appétit!

Delicious food! As a starter, a tasting of everything (butterfly prawns, lamb, chicken, samosas, fried onion snacks) and then various curries and biryani. All equally delicious. And very friendly staff. Highly recommended! (Normally I take a picture of the food but that didn't happen now, it looked so delicious that we immediately started eating 😅)

Far away the best Indian restaurant in Eindhoven Town. A must visit, when you are around or in the neighborhood. This restaurant is cozy, warm-hearted and the food is best. Quick service and friendly staff. There is parking space enough in the neighborhood. Although paid parking, it’s worth it. Reservations are recommended. See you at this remarkable place!

Getting good Indian food in Holland is hard. There are not many restaurants around. I enjoy the food,and it's my takeaway first choice. Even though I am outside the delivery zone. I always have to pick up.

Wellicht niet het mooiste maar zeker wel een van de lekkerste Indiase restaurants waar ik gegeten heb. Vriendelijke ontvangst, lekker laat open en een prachtige Vindaloo. Cobra biertje erbij en een perfectie maaltijd: Complimenten!

My girlfriend and I have been in Eindhoven for nearly a month for work and are staying in a hotel across the street from Touch of India. We have ordered take away from here multiple times and they offer a consistently delicious Aloo Gabi that we love! You must also get the naan and garlic naan! They offer speedy and polite service. I would recommend this restaurant to any passer-by or local for a delicious meal!

It is good restaurant. The staff there are so friendly! The food is good and money wise also fair to the quality.
