Delicious authentic Indian food with friendly and hospitable service

Visited on a Friday early evening with family. We were the only customers at the time. The place was clean and there was some nice instrumental music from south indian movies, which we liked. Vada was quite good. Coffee wasn't to our expectations (best we had so far was the filter coffee in Utrecht Krishna Vilas). The lady at the counter was quite rude and spoiled our experience. We tried to ignore the experience with the counter lady, but after a point we got really annoyed and left without ordering further. Compliments to the chef on the vada.

And everything is vegetarian, a big plus! - However, do not order online if you are hungry, the waiting times are sometimes more than 2 hours. Poor telephone accessibility. Employees cannot properly explain what might be vegan, which is a shame.

The special Shri Ganesh soup was crazy good.

Delicious food as always! The service was very friendly. Portions were more than enough. My most favorite dishes are paneer butter masala and eggplant curry. The naan bread was also nice and soft. And the dal soup as a starter was delicious! The food is highly recommended.

Uno de los mejores restaurantes del sur de la India en los Países Bajos y probablemente en el mundo. Deliciosa comida con grandes volúmenes y un precio razonable. Y somos indoeuropeos. Debes probar el Oothapam, Okra Masala y por supuesto las Dosas. He probado otros restaurantes en NL y Reino Unido pero este destaca.

I could not believe the reviews on this place we're this low. The food is extremely flavourful and abundant. Every time I come here I feel in awe. I agree the food takes time and is a bit pricey, but as someone from an Italian family this is ideal for family meetings where you want to spend hours talking and enjoying the food. Come here if you want to share time with people you love while eating warming meals. The curry will make you feel warm inside especially in the winter. The music is chill and allows you to relax and enjoy.

Fantastisch authentieke gerechten. Hier smaakt de masala dosa en andere gerechten zoals ik het in Azie heb geproefd. Ik ga hier naar toe als ik kan en neem vaak gerechten mee die in de diepvries kunnen zoals kikkererwtencurry’s en de voortreffelijke baygan curry (aubergine) want ik woon een uur rijden van Eindhoven. Ik verbaas me over de negatieve recensies, maar als ik ze lees zie ik dat die niets met de kwaliteit van het eten hebben te maken. Mensen mogen wel wat meer begrip tonen als deze hard werkende familie een keertje niet op tijd open kan gaan. Of als Thuisbezorgd het laat afweten. Very good food. Friendly service. We ran out of several flavors of ice cream, but they offered a different dessert. A very tasty collection of Indian desserts. In short: had an excellent experience.

Ordered and paid for the Too Good to Go box. Pick up between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, arrange transport and guess what? Just not open, no answer by phone, nothing. Scammers

Good food, the gentlemen who served us were clearly not used to doing this task. The food was as good as the atmosphere of the establishment is so lacking in atmosphere: it's better to get take-out here.

Food is fine (not very special). Service could be better. After we brought our food, no one came to the table to ask if we wanted something to drink, for example.

It's pricey for the food quality and quantity. Never order Palak paneer from here. Not worth ordering

Ate a 3-course rice table here through a social deal. The main course was tasty, the starter was not much (papadum + sauce, which you get for free at many Indian restaurants anyway). With dessert, which we had already paid for, the waitress asked twice if we still wanted it. It was tasty, but I don't think the price-quality was entirely justified. The service was friendly but inexperienced and not very customer-oriented. It was also very cold in the restaurant, it seemed as if the heating was not on while it was near freezing outside. Toilet was dirty and clogged. Atmosphere in the restaurant (also due to the cold) not very pleasant. All in all, more recommended for takeout.

Good restaurant for only vegetarians. Spices are kept at lower levels and well suited for elders. I would suggest to inform your taste levels while ordering the food to come out with satisfaction.

Not all fingers are same. The same rules applies. Been here for few times and I noticed their spicy levels are kept low. I can say that this is a good place for the people who have their taste buds to low spice levels. Gobi pakora a must try.

As an Indian with a Dutch mother who loves Indian food and is very good at it by now, I must say that the food is excellent and very tasty. Definitely worth your money.

Better food and much more choices than Sarvana bhavan, foodgasm Or any other place in Eindhoven. Their naans are to die for and sweets are good as well. Chill hindi music adds to the vibe of food in a great manner. Highly recommended

mas de una hora de espera por la comida y cuando esta llega no teníamos cubiertos, los curry no vienen con arroz y no lo sabíamos hasta que llegó la comida, pedimos entonces arroz blanco y nos indican que no tenían, entonces pedimos otro arroz, terminamos de comer y el arroz aún no llegaba, la comida si es sabrosa pero luego de tanta espera la experiencia se vuelve desagradable, la atención es muy lenta. no volvería.

Via too good to go een verassingsbox gekocht. Eten was heel erg lekker alleen vond ik het te weinig. Het was een kleine plastic bak zoals de kleine maat van de Chinees met rijst en wat curry erover. Zou €17.99 waard moeten zijn volgens de app maar dat was het nooit voor die hoeveelheid. Ook raar dat ze via too good to go 2 dezelfde verrassingspakketten aanbieden maar dan de ene een euro duurder dan de andere zonder verder verschil (werd niet naar gevraagd of gekeken welk pakket je gekocht had).

Had dinner one evening. Very quiet Tamil place. If you are Tamil and looking for some Tamil food - head out here. People here speak Tamil, play Tamil Songs. Restaurant has a lot of good vibes. When I went to eat, I was the only guy in the place - guess I was either too early for dinner or too late for lunch. Yet, got some good food Dal, Rice. Tea was very good.

Got very, very nice takeaway food. Fast. Really nice people too! Will return!

Our order consisted of mango lassi, paneer dosa, paneer kofta gravy, and plain naan. Unfortunately, service was slow and unattentive, with our mango lassi taking over 20 minutes to arrive. Staff members were frequently absent from the dining area, forcing us to knock on the kitchen door to inquire about our meal. When the food was finally served, the quality left much to be desired. The paneer dosa lacked flavor, and its accompanying side dishes were undercooked. The naan, expected to be a traditional Indian bread, resembled a completely different type of bread. Additionally, the paneer kofta gravy was devoid of paneer. In summary, our experience at Sri Ganesh was marred by slow service and subpar food quality. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this establishment and suggest potential diners look elsewhere for a satisfying meal.

Alleen al voor de Dosa moet je hier gaan eten. Niet voor thuis bestellen, maar echt in het restaurant gaan eten. Veel lekkerder!

Gisteren voor de eerste keer eten afgehaald. Heel erg lekker gegeten. Je moet wel nog apart naan of rijst bij de curry"s bestellen. Dat staat niet duidelijk op de site. Er staat gebakken orka op het menu, ik neem aan dat dat okra moet zijn 😄 Wij gaan hier zeker vaker bestellen.

The ambience is great, they have a lot of options on their menu. I ordered kadhai paneer, gobi manchurian, it tasted good,. Tea was delicious.

Edit: I visited this hotel after almost 6 years. Good was average at best. Looked to me, some stale food recooked and served. Service is also pathetic. There is no concept of first come first serve in this hotel. buffer in around 30m extra if you are visiting this hotel.

Fantastisch een puur vegetarische kaart, geen dode dieren op het menu, een verademing, dat zou overal de norm moeten zijn. En heerlijk gegeten alle gerechten raak, super smaakvol. Gezellige ambiance en heel vriendelijke bediening.

Undoubtedly the best south Indian food in Eindhoven. North Indian options are also great.

Relish the typical south Indian food meals, the taste is fine. Friendly waiter staff. The improvement points could be the sphere, the choice of the music does not add to the ambiance. For those who know what is the food of south India, The sambar, the lentil sauce could be more zingy flavorful typical to the south Indian with coconut and other spices with vegetables like Moringa beans (drum sticks). For those who are unknown to this cuisine, try it, you will go back once more. A Paradise for vegans and vegetarians.

Lieve bediening en echt heel lekker eten! Hangt alleen niet de typische restaurant sfeer. Erg rustig en duurt eventjes voordat je het eten hebt. Zou het zeker aanraden!

Esperamos más de 2 días para conseguir nuestros platos. Sirvieron los entrantes después de los platos principales. La comida está bien, pero realmente no la disfrutamos debido al tiempo de espera.

Pedí papel asado y paneer dosa de este lugar. El papel tostado estaba bien, pero el paneer dosa sabía bastante mal, principalmente por su relleno. Literalmente agregaron paneer al relleno de masala dosa y eso no me fue bien. Además, el chutney de coco y el sambhar no estaban a la altura. Más tarde, después de ver mi reseña en thuisbezorgd, una señora del restaurante me llamó para preguntarme al respecto. Mientras le explicaba la razón por la que "personalmente" no me gustaba la comida, un hombre de repente me interrumpió y me dijo "No nos pidas comida". Esto fue totalmente poco profesional. Si no puede manejar una revisión negativa, por qué molestarse en llamarlos para verificar por qué no les gustó.
