We come here regularly, cozy family restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and alert. Many dishes here are different from most dime-a-dozen Greek restaurants, not a plate full of meat, but food prepared with passion and love by a truly proud Cretan! I read in some reviews here that people had to wait a long time for the food...that makes sense when many of their dishes are freshly prepared and not already ready. The spetsofai, the bekri meze, the kolokithokeftedes, the lamb souvlaki (my favorite), all equally delicious. In short, highly recommended, enjoy an evening with delicious food in a cozy restaurant. Grab a bottle of ouzo and be surprised by Manoli and Natascha, and if you have little time, go to the chip shop for a quick bite😊

Today I had dinner at Kriti for the first time with my wife and 2 sons We really liked it, the friendly hostess, the food was delicious and affordable, worth repeating.

We have been coming here for years, we are almost at home. The food you get is delicious. It's affordable! The service is good and fast. The atmosphere is very nice, the people who run this business. They are the sweetest. It is highly recommended for someone who has never been there!

A nice cozy restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Greek food. Very good service. Friendly waitresses. Will make a reservation again next time.

After reading some good reviews, we visited Kriti. Friendly service and a menu that hardly differs from the average Greek. We initially opted for a platter with a mix of hot starters. Fish, squid rings, shrimp and fried feta and stuffed rolls with feta and with and without spinach. It wasn't special. The Calamaris was good and the shrimp downright bad. Followed by a dish for two with a mix of fish and meat, which we had high expectations for, given the aforementioned reviews. We asked not to add pork fillet, because it was a large dish and we were afraid that it would also be a flattened, dry-fried ham steak. It was not (anymore) busy and we had to wait a very long time. That could have been a good sign, but it turned out not to be the case. The sole was of poor quality, tasted stale and very dry, the shrimps were also completely dry and tough, the giros were a bit soggy and the souvlakki were also completely fried and dry (level shoe sole), the squid rings were ok. after this nothing more happened. I then asked if the table could be cleared and that we wanted to order a desert. The young lady who came to clear away asked if everything was okay. To which I indicated that this was not the case and explained why. Her quick-witted response was: "You must have eaten well otherwise." This while the souvlakis were still there and I hadn't even eaten any prawns (that last one means something). The young lady would pass it on. Apparently that didn't happen. We ordered an ice cream and I went to pay. They were also asked if they had given birth. I told them that our expectations were high, given the reviews, that we were really looking forward to it but that it was very disappointing and why. That was a shame according to Mrs. I thought so too. I spent €91 including a bottle of spa and that's fine but it should be good / at least better than this. Possibly the cook had lost his enthusiasm, or had other things on his mind (we were the last customers), whatever.

Ate at Kriti again today. Super busy, but service was perfect and very friendly. Food was again delicious and well prepared.

Always good food, relaxed rustic atmosphere and affordable

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and always have good service and delicious Greek food in a cozy atmosphere.

Reserved a table for 2 at Kriti for last Sunday. After arrival asked for drinks. Ordered green tea and a coke. We were allowed to look for the green tea ourselves in the tea assortment box because they didn't know if they had it!!! So no green tea!!! Okay. Receive menus. Then waited half an hour to give us the choice of dishes. Staff repeatedly walked past our table and/or stood together (3 people) near the kitchen. I then kindly asked for the bill. Paid, but no one asked a single question why we left already???? Sorry, if it had been busy I could still explain why no one came to take the order. But this was not the case. Fortunately, I was served and helped normally at another Greek restaurant. It seemed like Kriti doesn't need any customers!!!

Cozy restaurant, friendly and quick service, quiet music and generous portions. A glass of ouzo in advance, followed by a salad, the main course was brought out quickly afterwards. Worth repeating.

Good and affordable food and very nice staff

Salad was not tasty, and the presentation was not neat, was shabby. Gyros dish was enough but there was little taste. Mousaka that was ordered was not tasty. This was not the Greek food I had imagined. Shame…….

Good food for a good price. I like coming there and keep coming back. The portions are large, so you won't leave hungry.

We ate the original Greek Stifado, which is highly recommended. We will definitely go back to eat another house specialty! Go eat there if you like real Greek cuisine!

Reserved for last Friday 6,000 people. There is parking available at the restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted in a friendly manner! The restaurant was warmly decorated and cozy, you could hear beautiful quiet Greek music in the background! We got a nice liqueur. And we were asked if we wanted something else to drink. Yes, still red emiglyko and soft drink. We were given the time to quietly look at the menu card! At least I like this! Then they came to take the order. We had starters of vine leaves with rice and zasiki, baguette, and another flat bread with something in it? After this we got the peppers and olives salad. After this the main course: the gyros was very nicely seasoned and fried. Haven't had Brunssum this good in a long time 👌!!!And the ink fish rings were also very good. A sister had ordered something different, different types of Greek meat. She also said she loved it. It was all tasty and nice and quiet and relaxed and neatly cared for! And nice atmosphere. One minus point: they didn't walk around often enough, everything to your liking. And then you wait for drinks. The water was of good brand. But it was expensive for a glass. Were friendly and asked at the end if everything had been to your liking. That was so! But other than that we had a good time. I did miss a shrimp cocktail on the map. But that could also depend on the time of year. Next time I'll go for large grilled shrimp. I love that! Thank you very much, and see you soon.

Had dinner here today with my parents and our daughter. Friendly staff, the food was super tasty. Unfortunately, due to possible crowds, a number of people's food was lukewarm, but the boss immediately came up with a suitable solution! Don't make a fuss about this! All in all a great meal!

Ate here because it is imho the only Greek in the area that still has skordalia, gigandes and breaded fried courgettes and aubergines on the menu. The order took a long time to arrive, but that probably had to do with the fact that skordalia is rarely ordered anymore and I suspect that they had to boil the potatoes first(?).

Good service and tasty dishes. What lovely people these are. Cozy and warmly decorated, as if you were on holiday.

Goed grieks eten. Veel echt grieks en een mooi restaurant. Zeker een aanrader

Geen ouzo maar een niet te dri ken alternatief voor de dames omdat de ouzo altijd terug kwam. Na aangeven dat de dames ook liever een ouzo hadden geen respons.

Goede keuze in gerechten, waren heerlijk en deed ons terug aan de vakantie denken. Glaasje ouzo erbij 😃. we moesten met ons hondje buiten zitten en het werd al wat frisser. Dus jammer van de winter🐶

Heerlijk gegeten bij kriti. Leuke medewerkers en gezellig ingericht. Zeker een aanrader. Niet duur. 25 september is er weer een mezedes avond waar de eigenaar (zelf van kreta) griekse kleine happjes maakt. Wilt u er meer over weten bel dan even.

We zijn er deze avond gaan eten 👌👌. Vriendelijke bediening en goed eten. Zeker meer dan voldoende, aangenaam om te zitten. We hadden niet gereserveerd daarom buiten geen plaats meer, maar binnen ook leuk. Zeker een aanrader 👍👍. De prijs is zeker niet teveel

Had smiddags een tafel gereserveerd, toen we ter plekke waren, stond onze naam niet geregistreerd. Er waren nog tafels beschikbaar, maar waren niet welkom.

Zoals altijd weer heerlijk gegeten, we komen hier al heel wat jaren, en het eten en de bediening is altijd prima in orde. En inderdaad kan het zijn dat je bij drukte wat langer moet wachten, maar hier wordt dan ook alles vers bereid, en dat proef je.

Goed gegeten en prijs zeer acceptabel! Ook reservering voor op zelfde dag prima verwerkt.

Eten was heerlijk. Bediening moest je lang op wachten en maakte veel fouten. Sfeer zeer gezellig.

Vleesgerechten waren redelijk. Geen knofllook in zaziki. Flauw gekruid. Vis en garnalen absoluut ongekruid met bijsmaak. Sorry maar echt de eerste en laatste keer. Ik blijk het restaurant te hebben verwisseld met Olympia Akerstraat Noord. Excuus aan Kriti!

Eten was heel erg lekker. Alleen de tijd tussen het voor gerecht en hoofdgerecht was erg lang.

Gezellige sfeer. Gevarieerde kaart, genoeg keus. De traditionele - en huisgerechten zijn zeker aan te bevelen. Ook voor afhalen.

Oven gerecht zowat verbrand, metaxa saus amper tot niet aanwezig (terwijl het hier om ging), kaas hard en zwart. De rest vrij droog en gyros amper smaak. Bediening bijna allemaal niet klant vriendelijk, voor mij laatste keer, ik ga wel fijn daar waar je wel fatsoenlijk wordt behandeld en het smaakt naar wat je besteld, en waar je allemaal tegelijk je eten krijgt. Werd niet eens gevraagd of alles naar wens was of ook maar iets in die richting.
