Dirty tables, dirty plates and very rude staff. Would not recommend at all. The food has gotten considerably worse as well.

I have been before so it was great to see the same standard has been maintained. The entire café is clean, neat and just feels pleasant. Seating is comfortable with sufficient space between tables. Service is good but remember the Dutch don't really do small talk so don't expect overly friendly service. My croissant was delicious and the filling generous. Its an upmarket Café with a substantial selection of baked goodies. Beautifully packaged as a gift or just take home a cake for that special occasion. Yes, I would go back to sit and enjoy a cuppa. I saw some locals meeting up and spending time over a cuppa. Go where the locals go.

I usually visit this bakery quite often—about twice a week. My regular choices are their cakes, especially the slagroom punt, cheesecake and punt truffle, which are my absolute favorites. However, I was quite disappointed today with the cheesecake. The flavor was different from what it used to be, lacking the rich, creamy taste I expected. Also, the raspberry jam on top had too many seeds, which made the texture less enjoyable. I really hope the cheesecake goes back to its usual quality, because I truly love this bakery otherwise.

The croissants were delicious, and at 1.80 euros, they were quite a bargain! The restaurant was very comfortable, and the waiter was very handsome. 😄

A very old-fashioned vibe. The cakes were really nice and satisfying. The staff were friendly and pleasant in spite of some customer disruptions. Was not too busy compared to other nearby cafés.

I popped in there to buy a birthday cake. They have a great selection, yes, but the cake was not the best. 17€ for a cake that I could have bought easily from a supermarket. Not tasty at all and really really sugary, we couldn’t even finish it. Not recommended.

A wonderfully spacious store with plenty of seating and a fantastic selection. Customer restrooms are also available.

I popped in here for a croissant before a walking tour, and the staff was so lovely. The croissant was honestly the best I'd ever had!!

Amazing food and perfect coffee for breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and helped us immediately. We went back another day for breakfast because it was great!

Service is fast and friendly. Average age of customers is high. But for a brunch with an aunt it is a great place to be. Too bad the menu is less extensive than 4 years ago.

For the Dutch and Amsterdammers in particular, Kwekkeboom is truly the epitome of a real pastry chef. There where not only the quality of the food and drinks is very good, but where you can also sit comfortably in the lunchroom.

Yes, the staff might seem a bit moody, but it could be due to the older visitors who tend to complain a lot. I like this place because it's spacious and doesn't try to be trendy like many other spots in De Pijp. The kroket is a classic and quite good, and the sausage bread is unique. I enjoy coming here because you can still find a place to sit.

Excellent place to have breakfast if you are in this area, your hotel does not have breakfast. In price and everything is delicious.

Went there for a quick sweet treat with some friends. My favourite option was their lemon eclair

Delicious food kwa Nice to have something tasty to snack on, such as sandwiches, but also very tasty cakes and always good cake for sale before a birthday in the Pijp and for the real enthusiast before the one and only kwekeboom croquette on bread And the best hot sausage rolls I have eaten here were absolutely fantastic and tasty and warm

A fairly well-kept and spacious place, inside you will find a vast selection of desserts of all kinds. Here I took a "Grandeur Mango" and a "Grandeur Cassis" which apparently seemed really beautiful and well executed, but when I tasted them, the taste was honestly not up to my expectations. Overall though I think it's a good place to drink a coffee and have a dessert and I think I'll stop by to try some of their other desserts. Very competitive prices for Amsterdam standards.

Kwekkeboom.....speaks for itself I think :-) Delicious croquettes of course, a great place to eat them for lunch.

We hadden niet ontbeten en wilden snel even gaan lunchen, waarna we bij Kwekkeboom terechtkwamen. De broodjes waren lekker vers, en we hebben smakelijk gegeten.

The stamp scam. We saw that the croissants were worth 1.65, what a surprise when paying when they charged us 2.25 to eat it at the table. I understand that there can be a slight increase for eating inside but this seems totally disproportionate to me and on top of that the croissant was not even good, it was average. Now I understand why it was almost empty.

The pastries and other sweet bites here are pretty special

Last Tuesday I ate pastries and had a drink with my son and a friend. Everything was super tasty. And the women who worked there were also super friendly.

Good help from a very nice lady, the coffee is made with love. And this is coming from a barista. :)

Today I sent my family from France who are staying here for a week expressly to you instead of Starbucks or the coffee company. They had a very bad experience. The staff was not customer friendly nor did they feel welcome. No smile, no good afternoon, it seemed like the staff member in question didn't want to be there at all and certainly didn't want to serve customers. Everything seemed like too much trouble. They made some purchases, but did ask what everything was. The questions were answered by the other staff member who walked by. After every question someone said rather rudely: 'that's it'? Their coffee order was also not really understood, even though they spoke English with the staff member in question. In the end there were 2 cups of coffee on the table instead of the one Americano that was ordered. For a moment I thought they had entered another coffee shop, but unfortunately no! They very kindly brought peanut brittle for me, and they really came from you. It turned out to be a long post, but I'm super disappointed. I recommended you above the coffee shop they wanted to go to via Instagram. She should have let her go there...

I was disappointed with the apple pie. The crust was very hard and had little flavor. In addition, the amount of apple was very large and it had a monotonous taste. The whipped cream on top was okay. Yoyo

Een beetje oudbollig maar de kroketten zijn er uitstekend

Zojuist 1 mokka gebakje gekocht. Eigenlijk best wel lekker hoor.. Vond de dame achter de toonbank alleen niet echt klantgericht. Dat maakte het stukje gebak niet minder lekker, maar zou wel leuker zijn geweest.

Dames lunchroom waar de welbekende kroket en gebakjes zijn te krijgen.

Klant naast ons zit filmpjes te kijken met volume op 10. Netjes gevraagd of hij misschien oordopjes bij heeft. Vervolgens netjes gevraagd of het volume dan misschien wat zachter mocht. Meneer was het er niet mee eens en ik moest mijn rotkop maar houden en niet zo negatief doen. Wanneer ik hem vraag of hij dat op film nog eens wil herhalen, dreigt hij me "op mijn bek te slaan". Winkelmanager geeft aan dat meneer een fijne klant is en dat zij hem al heel lang kent. Geen actie. Meneer scheldt lekker verder onder het toeziend oog van de winkelmanager. Dreigen met fysiek geweld wordt hier okay gevonden. Jammer dit. Bij een poging om het bij betalen nog eens bespreekbaar te maken, wordt er met een schouderophalen gereageerd.

Très bonne boulangerie ! Les croissants sont très gros et délicieux et l'ambiance est très sympathique. De plus, le personnel est très accueillant et souriant

Truffle pastalari simdiye kadar yediklerimin en iyisi, cok iddiali, mutlaka deneyin.

Koffie en gebak lekker MAARveeeeel te duur 4,15 voor een dubbele tom poes en 3.83 voor een moorkop en 3,15 voor een cappucino.😟

Belachelijk dat je meer voor je taart moet betalen als je bij de taart een kop koffie neemt.

Best place to have a coffee and croissant. I was looking for a place to have a nice croissant and this is by far the best. Perfectly baked croissant with butter inside. Coffee is also amazing and served with a small dessert. Nice service and ambience. Prices are also average. 2€ for an amazing croissant and 3.5€ for a cappuccino.

Prima banketbakkerij met enkele tafeltjes. Het nieuwe personeel is vriendelijk. Lekker gebak en goede koffie tegen redelijke prijzen (kwaliteit kost geld).

Kwekkeboom ist eine wunderschöne alte Konditorei, die sehr beliebt ist. Ich habe dort das klassische Gebäck Tompouce gegessen, dazu Kaffee und Wasser. Schnell kam ich mit einer Frau neben mir ins Gespräch. Tompouce und Kaffee waren sehr gut, leider war mein Wasser schon abgeräumt, als ich von der Toilette zurück gekommen war. Kwekkeboom sollte man als Tourist unbedingt besuchen!

Acudí a esta cafetería porque se encontraba a un minuto andando desde el hotel en el cual me hospeda, el precio del café y los dulces muy correctos, para ser Amsterdam diría que hasta algo baratos y la calidad de los croissant exquisita, se notaba que eran frescos, los dos días que pasé en Amsterdam desayuné en esta cafetería.

Pastelería subestimada! Parada rápida para tocino, huevos y tostadas para mí. Mi otra mitad tenía sándwich de carne. Rápido y sabroso. No hay problemas en recomendar aquí para el brunch a nadie. Muchas gracias
