Delicious food, we'll definitely come back

Vintage decor, quite elaborate. The food is really good (pasta). The French toast (dessert) is made with very thick slices of bread. It's a cozy place, but I wouldn't drive miles for it.

I've been living for five years in the Netherlands and this is the best sandwich I've ever had here. Also, they are super nice and pet friendly. We had the Ferrari and the Tuna sandwich.

Especially on a sunny afternoon, the place to have lunch with a BF. I love working-class neighborhoods, because of the liveliness and authenticity. Add a drink, good food and good company, and the afternoon can't go wrong.

Nicely decorated, very good bottle of wine. More expensive on Vovino than in the restaurant. Dinner was not necessarily restaurant quality. I would also make the pasta at home. A very good homemade meatball!

It is tasty and pleasant food at Fabian. Excellent daily specials and the menu has plenty to offer. My favourite; ravioli with pumpkin accompanied by a pleasantly cool Moretti.

Nice place, old-fashioned cozy atmosphere, a bit messy but charming. We were there for lunch. The choices for the vegetarian are quite limited here, but what we had was very tasty; a goat's cheese sandwich with beets and walnuts, and an aged cheese sandwich with mustard. There is also 1 vegan sandwich. Coffee was delicious. As far as we are concerned, the only point for improvement is a little more choice for vegetarians, also with, for example, the hot sandwiches ☺️ Staff was nice. I would definitely recommend eating and drinking here.

They do their best, good Italian food, just not my kind of shop and dirty. Highly educated people will certainly get their money's worth here.

Heerlijke broodjes en een goede service!

Leuk, gezellig en goed Intieme ambiance

Een ervaring vol contrasten. Bediening laat eindeloos lang op zich wachten, 3 kazen en een biertje dat op de kaart staat is niet voorradig. Eten zelf is prima op smaak.

Na een plekje gevonden te hebben de kaart bekeken. En ze hebben er genoeg lekkers tegen leuke prijsjes. Het broodje met huis gemaakte bal smaakte me heel goed. En de wentelteefjes waren ook super. Aanrader dus !!!

Parel aan de Bergweg. Heerlijke broodjes, vers gemaakt, met stuk voor stuk verrassend lekkere ingrediënten. Moeilijk kiezen. Ik ging dit keer voor de "Lombardo" (taleggio, prosciutto crudo, zongedroogde tomaatjes, pestomayonaise). Top! De "Ferrari" en de "Geitenbreier" (vega) van mijn tafelgenoten vielen ook goed in de smaak. Aanrader dus.

Lekkere broodjes (goed belegd!) en niet te duur. Gezellige sfeer, superleuk interieur en terras. Echt toptent!

Ik heb hier geweldige ravioli gegeten! Caban de Fabian is een fijne, ongedwongen plek. Lekkere deserts, de key lime pie is mijn lievelings

Broodjes waren top en bediening was erg vriendelijk! Echter vonden wij het restaurant zelf niet erg proper ogen en waren de toiletten erg smerig, dat was jammer..

Wij zochten een niet al te duur, maar niet standaard restaurant om op een gewone zondagavond met elkaar niet al te lang te eten. En zo kwamen we bij La Cabane de Fabian. Een gezellig hoekzaakje, ingericht met vintagemeubelen en een leuke ongedwongen sfeer. De menukaart is ronduit verrassend; zowel Italiaanse, Franse als Hollandse gerechten. Dus de keuze was moeilijk, want alles leek lekker. En dat was het ook! Wij aten met ons gezelschap 4 verschillende pastagerechten en een rode koolschotel met stoofvlees. Daarbij een heerlijke, prettig geprijsde fles rode wijn, (kraan)water op tafel voor erbij en bier. Als dessert broodpudding (origineel, want haast nergens op de kaart) en Lime Die. De porties van zowel de maaltijden als de desserts zijn royaal en de smaak van alles werkelijk uitstekend. Onbegrijpelijk dat dit zaakje niet volledig vol zat, maar ons geluk. Wij komen zeker terug!

Hands down the best restaurant in Rotterdam. Totally not pretentious, warm cozy vibe, helpful and friendly staff, and above all a serious dedication to flavor and quality. Their sandwiches are unreal. A true treat. If you are lucky to have dinner there, just pick anything. Every single item on the menu is on a whole other level. Seriously, a hidden gem for the last couple years already and still consistent. On another note, the best price quality ratio you will find in Rotterdam. Absolutely fantastic.

Fungeert praktisch als buurthuis voor de bewoners van het oude noorden en ver daar buiten. Prima koffie en een geweldige lunch én dinerkaart! Een aangename sfeer binnen en eigenaar Fabian is een geweldige gastheer en koffiedrinkgezelschap.

Zit je lekker met een drankje, vooral nu in de zomer. Aardig bediening. Heerlijke tagliatelle met roomsaus en bospaddestoelen.

Haal hier minstens twee keer per week een broodje. Heb een stempelkaart nodig.😅 De Geitenbreier is fantastisch. Leuke plek, sfeervol, aardige bediening.

Cabane is een leuk tentje in Rotterdam. Je hebt er hippe, lekkere drankjes. De broodjes waren ook lekker. De dame, die er werkte was ook erg lekker.

Zeer goed restaurant. Enthousiaste eigenaar die zelf in de keuken staat..... combinatie van eenvoudige Italiaanse en Franse keuken...... en voor de lunch heerlijk rijk belegde broodjes.
