Delicious food, but sometimes chaotic due to the crowds (Christmas market). Definitely recommended!

On wednesday, a grup of Friends and I had dinner there, and honestly, every thing was delicious. The tapas were exquisite, and the service was very attentive, even though there weren't many staff members working at that time. It's so nice to see people like that Who do their job to the best of their ability and give It their all. I felt very confortable.

A very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Great service and something for everyone. Delicious flavors, and a two-hour time slot is perfect. We'll definitely do it again.

It was a very disappointing visit. Tempted by the number of guests inside we decided to come in and try what La Cubanita has to offer. From the beginning of our visit we were misled, the waitress informed us that all you can eat costs 24.50€ per person, after the payment we found out that in fact we paid 29.50€. We informed stuff members about this mistake but we got 0 response. No one from the staff members was even interested in explaining the situation to us. The first dish came to us after 20minutes of waiting. However, the waiting time for the desserts was the most scandalous. We waited over 40 minutes for a piece of cheesecake. After that time we informed stuff and politely asked how much longer we have to wait. But again we got 0 response. Upset with the whole situation, we paid the bill and left the restaurant. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Untrained staff members, lack of interest in the customer and long waiting time for tasteless dishes.

Everything works perfectly. You can order 4 tapas every 10 minutes, and everything was served quickly. Highly recommended, right in the city center.

I expected more from the food. Friendly staff, but they only spoke English. It's a cozy restaurant with a lot of untapped potential.

If you haven't waited a long time for your order at 5:30, and the second round is already messed up with orders that hadn't arrived from the first round, things are already going wrong... mainly grumpy English-speaking staff who don't even bother to answer your question, because that's not their job. No soap in the restroom, which was a bit of a shame... This is the transition from la cubanita...

Most of the staff don't speak Dutch or English. The food wasn't anything special, and the steak was very tough. The chicken thigh with peach was very tasty, though. Everything was a bit chaotic, with dishes not arriving in the order we ordered. After our dessert, dishes from previous rounds arrived.

The first round was a hit, ridiculously long wait even though it was quite quiet for a Sunday evening! The first dish was completely burnt! The staff consists mainly of young people who have little interest in giving customers a pleasant evening. If you want a good and enjoyable La Cubanita experience in the Netherlands, go to Zwolle or Alkmaar. You'll get your money's worth there; they work much harder and more effectively. If you're in Maastricht, go to Tokyoto or Het Zusje. You might pay a bit more, but you'll get a positive culinary experience in return.

The food was delicious. Could use a few less sauces with the dishes. And I'd love to tackle the work on the doors and window frames. It was a lot of fun, though.

Most of it was delicious. Cocktails were good. The timer for the next course was a bit suspicious; it only took 10 minutes for one, and 13 minutes for the rest... but we were definitely full nonetheless. One tip for the restaurant... more beef. If you like beef, you'll be a bit shortchanged.

The restaurant was so packed you could barely hear each other, and half of the dishes on the paper menu couldn't be ordered using the QR code. The melon wasn't ripe, the spareribs were dry. We left after three rounds.

This is an all you can eat place with restrictions You can only order 2 dishes per person every 10 mins, but in reality it took more time as it seemed like the system got overloaded Also, the dishes came a bit now and then, so don't expect to be eating at the same time And a couple of them were impossible to tell apart

One star is unfortunately too many. When we made our reservation, we weren't informed that our dog wasn't welcome. There was nothing about it on the website either. We ended up having a very good meal elsewhere.

The concept is nice, but this branch is on the small side, which means you sit close to each other & we found the dishes in other branches better and less dry

Omdat ik vaak ad hoc beslis, ben ik sinds lange tijd weer eens bij La Cubanita Maastricht gaan eten. Reserveren is een must! Anders krijg je geen plek. Vandaag( een dinsdag avond) heerlijk genoten. Wij hadden als stel gereserveerd om 18:00 . De zaak was nog bijna leeg toen we arriveerden. Echter: binnen 15 min was echt iedere tafel bezet! Wij hadden een uitermate vriendelijke serveerster die haar eerste dag werkte. Veel engelstalige werk studenten , allemaal even vriendelijk. Ons eerste drankje liet vanwege de drukte even op zich wachten. Een beetje begrip vind ik op zijn plek. De mensen rennen zich de kuiten uit het lijf. Daarna verliep alles vlekkeloos. Tappa’s goed van kwaliteit, vers bereid, verse kruiden, allemaal even smakelijk bereid en opgediend. Éen jongedame van de bediening springt er met kop en schouders bovenuit. Vanuit haar ooghoeken overziet zij alles. Stuurt personeel aan en had snel in de gaten dat ik een drankje wilde bestellen maar de serveerster mij even niet hoorde. Zij is een absolute topper! Drankje kwam binnen een minuut. Wijn is goed van kwaliteit, cola zero uit flesjes dus geen goedkope tap- cola. Fles bronwater van Bar le Duc. Wederom in gesloten fles. Momenteel ken ik geen enkel restaurant waar ik voor €36,50 onbeperkt tapa’s kan eten incl . drankjes in een gezellige ambiance met fijne muziek. Complimenten aan jullie allen. Bedankt voor de heerlijke avond.

All you can eat? Yes please. The food was amazing. Anything you get in their honey mustard is GREAT! Went husband and I, and we love that we could try everything on the menu!

This tapas restaurant was delicious and the staff was friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that the tables are often quite small, which is typical of a Spanish restaurant.

Laaaaang wachten op eten/drinken. 45 minuten op het eerste drankje, toen maar zelf gaan pakken aan de bar. Als het eten dan komt is het al lauw/afgekoeld. Drinken inbegrepen is een wassen neus als je niet kan bestellen of net zo lang moet wachten op je drinken. Helaas blijven zitten, we hadden beter na de eerste 45 minuten kunnen opstappen zonder iets te hebben genuttigd. Na 3 rondes van elk 2 hapjes hebben we het opgegeven en zijn vertrokken. Wel 15% korting maar voor een verpeste avond. Nu veel geld betaald voor een lege maag en een avond frustratie. Na vertrek naar McDonalds gereden en het daar nog gezellig gemaakt.

A long wait for food/drinks. 45 minutes. By the time the food arrives, it's already lukewarm/cold. Drinks included is a waste of time if you can't order or have to wait just as long for your drink. Unfortunately, we had to stay seated; we should have left after the first 45 minutes, just like our reviewer. We paid a fortune for an empty stomach and an evening of frustration.

Went there tonight, and when we arrived, no one looked or said anything. After a while, someone came. I ordered drinks and waited 25 minutes. I went to the bar to ask for them, but was told they weren't ready yet, I was alone. I waited a bit longer, but left without eating or drinking.

Mediocre food, sometimes cold. Nothing special. What was really annoying was that we'd already been sitting at a table for 20 minutes and hadn't even been offered a drink. I read the other reviews, and it turns out this has been going on for a long time. Apparently, they don't need this and are also satisfied with fewer customers... We'll definitely never go there again.

We had a delicious meal just under two weeks ago. Excellent service and very friendly help from Ilias and his colleagues.

Too few staff for the number of people dining. You had to order drinks from the waiter, but the waiters never asked if you wanted something. We had to go to the bar several times to order. Several times, our food was burnt or cold. This wasn't something we'd come to expect from La Cubanita. Sometimes it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The ice cream was more like a milkshake. Unfortunately, no more La Cubanita Maastricht for us.

After a day out in Maastricht, we had dinner at La Cubanita. We initially had to wait 30 minutes for bread and drinks. You had to order drinks from the staff, but they didn't come to the table, so I went to the bar myself. The staff wasn't very friendly either. The food arrived cold or burnt. In conclusion, I'll never go back to La Cubanita Maastricht.

La comida es muy básica, porciones pequeñas. Tuvimos que enviar 3 de 12 de vuelta (quemado, olvidó la salsa en patatas bravas, ... ) El servicio era malo. No organizado. Muchos errores. No recomendaría esto a nadie. El concepto es genial, pero se hace muy mal.

Item 1: It was already very difficult to find the place, which didn't look much like a restaurant from the outside. Item 2: We had to wait almost 15 or 20 minutes just to finally order tapas and our drinks. (Don't go if you're very hungry or thirsty). Item 3: First tapas order placed. We waited, and waited, and waited, until finally ONE plate of tapas out of the 18 ordered arrived. One bite and the plate was already empty. Item 4: We didn't like the tapas at all, to be honest. Luckily, my Coke was good... oh yeah, the melon wasn't bad either! Item 5: So, Miss Red-Haired Waitress, you've probably had a hard day, but throwing plates on the table was minimal! Time to rethink your job! This isn't a caterpillar, even the animals are better served with their own bowls😒 And the cherry on top: we left with a stomach ache like no other and now we have a hellish digestion. In short, my WORST experience in a restaurant as a tourist. Obviously, no surprises, I guess, I don't recommend it. Just a quick shout-out to the lady at the bar/cash register; she was pretty nice, at least.

Unfortunately the staff was understaffed and ran around like headless chickens not once did we have the food together now and then a plate was brought and a little later there is no structure, the ice cream was really pitiful half melted and tasteless. On the website the prices are unclear at the bottom in small letters a higher price is misleading! Conclusion never again

Het was nu de 5e keer dat we er gingen eten. Door de laatste reviews waren we wat ongerust. Maar ik moet zeggen dat het weeral super goed is meegevallen. Ondanks dat het super druk was bleven de gerechtjes vlot komen. Bediening bleef ook vriendelijk en niks was teveel. Enkel als je de cubanita completa hebt moet je de drank buiten de app om bestellen en dat duurde dan wat langer maar dat was het enige minpuntje. Het eten was ook heel lekker. De garnalen waren super goed klaar gemaakt en de warme gerechten waren ook echt warm. Ik snap dus echt niet waar al die negatieve reacties vandaan komen.

We had a great meal here. However, it was a bit of a switch that you sometimes have to speak English with the wait staff.

Went to eat in Maastricht with a group of 7. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for the first round. If that had been paid in advance, we would have gotten up and eaten somewhere else. Some dishes were nice and hot and delicious, but many were also lukewarm/cold and not tasty. Sweet potato fries were burnt. Young staff running their legs off, (2 in the shop and 2 in the kitchen) sad to see. You can't blame them. No fresh smell in the shop. Not recommended!

Bij binnen komst van de zaak hangt een onaan gename geur van urine.Lang wachten op de eerste ronde 1.5 uur gewacht.Gewoon weg slecht eten koud en niet gaar vlees .Aan gebrande zoete aardappel.Veel koude gerechten die eigenlijk goed warm horen te zijn .Verkeerde gerechten de helft van de gerechten.Meisje wat er bediende rende zich de benen onder haar kont uit. De heren van de bediening spreken geen Nederlands en verstaan het ook niet .Het was dat de personeels vereniging al had betaald .is voor mij de eerste en ook de laatste keer geweest.

Junk food... disgusting... the waitresses were very pleasant and smiling, but the "dishes" and "tapas" are truly awful. I'm lost for words.

It was a very surprising place but it was a bit too busy so not everything was served well, we got the wrong things a few times. Furthermore, very good service and friendly atmosphere.

It was our first time in a restaurant like this and it was great 👍. Prerequisite: a cell phone with enough battery!!! You order everything via an app and everything is exactly as described. Little things are always served, as often as you can eat. And everything in 10 minutes. Service is always friendly and on the ball! Drinks came quickly and the food was digested quickly and at a certain distance. A small drawback: We hadn't made a reservation, so we got a table in the entrance area...a bit fresh, but we were there ourselves 🤭. Conclusion: If you have a first date, it is highly recommended!!! The conversation piece is guaranteed 😅. And anyway, the menu is full of surprises and it tastes really good!! Not particularly attractive from the outside, but the inside was quite good. By the way, we were there quite spontaneously and also relied on the reviews. So we would like to give our review here too. So recommendation 👍💫

Had a worse experience today. Tapas that were not delivered. Had to wait 50 minutes for tapas. Burnt nachos. Drinks but no glass. In short, it was clearly noticeable that things were not going well. Heard several tables complaining about the long wait time.

I’ve visited other La Cubanita locations before, but unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience. My favorite dish is the honey chicken, but what we received was a dry piece of chicken with barely a drop of honey. The service was also very slow, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get a glass of water. It wasn’t just our table. I noticed another guest going to the bar to grab their own drink after it had been sitting on the counter for over 10 minutes.

Amazing all you can eat tapas. Most of the food was 5/5. Recommended dishes: caramelised goat cream cheese, Spanish hamburgers, mushrooms with chestnut, crunchy tacos with tuna, spareribs, mushroom empanadas.

When you enter it doesn't really smell fresh and the interior is also a bit messy, the service is friendly but the tapas were not really what I expected (I can do better with more than 23 years of experience in the kitchen) a lot of ready-made and reheated too short + tasteless strange strange flavors??? And the beer was also sour, which means that the pipes are not cleaned properly. Verdict>>there has never been a chef who can cook to everyone's taste...but this is really a no go!!! Don't understand why there are people who give 5 stars? Waste of money. This company should get a new update because the director makes his money very easily.

we were not okay with poor quality food. Steak looked like the sole of a shoe so tough. Pork tenderloin looked like a stew MASS IS KASSA

Every 10 minutes you can order 2 dishes per person. At first it didn't seem like much, but it's filling :) Also good cheap cocktails for 6 euros each, definitely recommended! Not extremely expensive either

The meal was fine, but there was a vomited chair next to our table, which created an unpleasant atmosphere, and simply removing it was a small effort.

Very nice place for food sharing & small dishes. There was a wide choice of dishes. The dishes were very tasty and ordering went very smoothly via a QR code system. The only downside is that the tables are very close together.

Ate here for the first time today. All in menu taken. This works via a QR code. This is where things went wrong. My partner and I both ordered 2 dishes. Mine were delivered quickly, but my partner's apparently still remained on order. I then only ordered 2 more dishes. These were also delivered quickly. Unfortunately, my partner still had not received anything. Only after we reported this did my partner suddenly receive 4 dishes at once. After that the order went well. Food is tasty and varied. Something for everyone. But it is of course nice if everyone gets their food on time.

Good food in itself, but also very fatty. Wouldn't go there again anytime soon.

Food arrives much, much too late. When you get it, it's already way too cold. Waited 1.5 hours for your food. Putting dirty plates on the table. This was a very, very bad experience. And sometimes you don't even get your food.

The food was tasty, the price was fine, the staff was friendly and helpful and the building and location were also nice, but the orders were very chaotic and the staff had forgotten some orders (it was fine after we asked again).

It is stated that you can consume unlimited tapaz, but you must pay for it in full and not just €25, which is only the amount for 1 round of max 4 portions. We ordered 2 rounds. You are also limited to the time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. So the term "unlimited" has quite a few snags and justifies the term "limited". The food was excellent, as was the good, friendly service. Orders placed via QR code and telephone were processed quickly. That was okay too. The atmosphere was not subdued, but exuberant; it was busy (full) and many people were talking and laughing loudly. The decoration seemed somewhat forced, originally, for example: a mirror in the toilet in a cut-off segment of an oil barrel or a painting in a broken frame, which had been repaired with any old plank. All in all, I enjoyed it. Special and good restaurant!

The only thing that wasn’t disgusting were the desserts but you have to pay extra for them.

We had chosen the all-in package. It turned out that it wasn't all-in because you couldn't choose cocktails and a selection had been made of desserts. Despite that, it was super tasty and we enjoyed the evening.

We passed by by chance and it looked so nice that we immediately made a reservation. Delicious food, top service and attractive decor and music. Totally our thing. There is so much choice that everyone can find several options that they like.

Ate here with two people. Friendly welcome and dishes came out of the kitchen fairly quickly. We did not receive our sandwiches in advance, but we did receive the rest of the ordered dishes. Food is fine for the money, don't expect culinary delights. Empty plates were quickly removed. Parking is within walking distance

Loved everything. The food takes a while before it arrives so makes sure to order on time as you get to pay/ hour. We ordered our dessert and waited for more than 30min , we were having a good time so totally forgot about the dessert not arriving yet and the paying per hour system. At the end the dessert arrived and it was really delicious, but that was the most expensive dessert I have ever had since we ended up paying for one more hour extra 😅

Excellent food, friendly staff, reasonably priced, excellent cocktails. Loved that they fitted us in without a reservation. 💚
