We had a great meal in a charming setting. It was nice to try various tapas dishes. Don't expect a culinary highlight for that price. It was a nice way to enjoy a drink and a snack. Ordering via QR code worked well, with no long waits and good service.

We were here last year and it was absolutely fantastic! I had nothing to complain about. We went again yesterday and unfortunately, it was a completely different experience. There were three ladies there the entire evening. I think only one was serving the food. The other did a bit of everything, and the third made the drinks. It all took a really long time, and the stress was palpable in the food service. I returned a dish because it was incomplete, so I wanted to ask the same girl if I should reorder it or if it would be coming. She came over and gave me a different dish, and at that moment I asked, "Can I ask something?" She quickly walked away and said, "No, it's very busy." I was in shock. I can understand it being busy, but to say, "No, it's very busy," I thought was ridiculous! They had 12 occupied tables that evening, and the other two ladies were chatting behind the bar. They were very cheerful and friendly (and it radiated that). I also wanted to change my 10-month-old son, but there was nowhere to do it. I could use one of the back tables. That was a no-go!

Upon entering, the air conditioning was blowing warmly, which was uncomfortable now that it's so cold outside. At first glance, the interior looked festively decorated for Christmas. Unfortunately, the table was far too low if you're almost 2 meters tall. The toilet was probably from a kindergarten restroom, so low. Toilet paper everywhere, and the room was cold. The floor is rising left and right from moisture or improperly laid, so be careful where you walk. The food is good as usual, but unfortunately, the steak was overcooked. Unfortunately, some dishes had to be returned because they were cold. Apologies; sorry, the kitchen is busy. I also had a dish without sauce. Then they said, "Sorry, the sauce's gone." So, dry chicken in a bowl. Cocktail without a straw because they were out of straws. Not fun having a mouthful of ice cubes in your mouth. The ice cream wasn't in a nice bowl like in Weert, but in a paper cup. Some dishes never arrived. The staff wasn't very motivated. At most, I saw one employee with a smile. So NEVER again! Next time, back to Lacubanita Weert.

Very bad. The kitchen closes at 9:15 PM, even though the website says 10 PM. Orders are often served incorrectly or not at all. It says unlimited food, but you only get two mini dishes every half hour. So if you come for dinner at 7 PM, you might have had a maximum of five rounds, or 10 dishes. Yeah, I can handle it that way too... Don't come here; go to their sister restaurant or something.

Had a delicious meal for my birthday. Desserts were a couple of times wrong. I ordered the same one, but it was always different. We had a combo deal. Perfect. And the desserts included were ice cream from a cardboard container. That was quite disappointing.

Six months ago, I visited La Cubanita in Eindhoven for the first time with my colleague from work, and I fell in love with the food! Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. Since then, my boyfriend and I have been visiting La Cubanita in Helmond at least once a month, and he loves it too! However, the service in Helmond is unfortunately not as good as in Eindhoven — sometimes the food takes quite a long time to come, and on a few occasions, some dishes didn’t come out before we had to leave the restaurant. Still, we really enjoy the food and atmosphere, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

We dined here with three people on Friday, October 17, 2025, and it was delicious. When I went to pay, I got distracted by my cell phone. I paid the bill and took it with me. When I got home, I realized they'd charged me for two bottles of red port instead of two glasses. I called immediately, explained the situation, and they saw it on the receipt. They said they'd refund me. It was a substantial overpayment. Two days later, the money was in my account. Fantastic.

The restaurant efficiently hosted a corporate event for 60 people. The staff is very friendly, and the manager is very open to collaborating and making any necessary adjustments. The restaurant’s décor and atmosphere are very cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant for your events.

Almost everything we got was ice cold. If we said anything, they said, "Yeah, yeah, okay." My sister, my mother, and I all got sick afterward.

Ik blijf ze een kans geven. Maar vandaag voor de zoveelste keer meer dan 75% laten staan omdat het niet te eten was. Niet warm. Super zout. Wij gingen om 21 weg. 4 tafels bezet, dat zegt wel genoeg. Voor ons echt geen cubanita meer.

The service is slow, you have to wait a long time for your food, it takes a long time for dirty dishes to be taken away, and there is not a large selection of food.

We used to come to La Cubanita regularly, but the last time was a huge disappointment. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. My sister and I recently dined at La Cubanita in Helmond. It started with a very long wait before we could use the ordering app because it hadn't been activated for our table. Just as we were sitting down, we noticed a layer of dust on one of the plates. We reported it immediately, of course, because that's simply not right. What made it even worse was that my sister is pregnant. Especially then, you expect everything to be clean and handled with care. Unfortunately, they didn't really take it seriously. There was no solution, no apology, and basically nothing at all. We immediately decided to leave and eat somewhere else. This just didn't feel right to us, and we were disappointed that the staff didn't do anything about it either. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them is just as important. We hope this feedback is taken into account, because this isn't what you expect when you dine out.

The meat dishes were cold, and the staff wandered around a bit confused about where to bring the food. We didn't receive all the food from several orders. We were disappointed. Also, one person received the food each time, which isn't very pleasant to eat alone while the other has to wait for it to arrive. La Cubanita Eindhoven is better; you can eat together there. Do something about it!

As always at La Cubanita Helmond, satisfied! It was relatively busy and there were quite a few new staff (I think), but we still had consistent service. We come here regularly and have noticed that service often goes wrong (wrong table). Perhaps the numbering should be adjusted to make it more logical? A minor drawback is the (men's) toilet seat, which is completely loose and very dirty. I would recommend addressing this.

It's fun to do an xtje. It's not expensive. So the price/quality ratio is good.

We had a wonderful meal at this lovely Mexican restaurant! The food was superb and not too big. The atmosphere and service were also excellent. We enjoyed it with a cocktail :)

The two of us dined here on Sunday evening without a reservation. It was quite busy, and we were told it might take a little longer. There was indeed a 30-minute difference between the first, second, and third courses. The fourth course was also out of stock. On our second order, we received cold spareribs. I reported this to the staff, and they resolved the issue by waiting 15 minutes for the now warm spareribs. We ordered chicken wings, which never arrived. Ultimately, we didn't order a third round. The staff themselves admitted it was chaos in the kitchen. They couldn't do anything about it; they dictate what the kitchen has prepared. The staff was otherwise very attentive and friendly. It's a shame, though, that what should have been a pleasant evening out turned into a slight disappointment.

Hebben een uur gewacht op ons eten en toen het eenmaal aankwam was het eten koud of lauw. Dit aangegeven en konden we een gedeelte betalen. Eigenlijk geen eens geld waard, zo belachelijk. Later op de avond na thuiskomst, ziek geworden. Ik ga hier in iedergeval niet meer heen. Nu al twee keer een slechte ervaring hier gehad.

We kwamen hier al jaren met plezier, ik voelde me bijna kind aan huis. Maar wat we deze keer meemaakten sloeg echt alles. Het eten was slap en totaal niet bijzonder. Te eten, ja, maar het had geen smaak of liefde. Maar vooral de sfeer en de bediening deden ons echt afhaken. Eén blonde serveerster sprong er negatief uit. Ze liet meerdere keren eten of bestek vallen, raapte het op en ging gewoon door alsof er niks was gebeurd. Er werd geschreeuwd

Zaterdag met een gezelschap van 10 personen wezen eten. Vanwege onderbezetting ging letterlijk alles mis en kwamen er de eerste twee uur amper (of de juiste) gerechten door. Uiteindelijk een nette uitleg gehad en wat drankjes van het huis ter compensatie. Vervolgens netjes afgerekend (met fooi) en er vervolgens thuis achtergekomen dat we veel teveel betaalt hebben. Twee personen teveel berekend en twee kinderen in de leeftijd van elf jaar voor het volle tarief berekend. Gevolg €83 teveel afgetikt. Zondag gelijk een net bericht achter gelaten via de website. Inmiddels 5x gebeld en 5x de belofte gehad dat de filiaal verantwoordelijke terug gaat bellen. Maar het blijft volledig stil.. Alles respect voor de onderbezetting en drukte maar vervolgens de klacht gewoon niet oplossen of überhaupt de moeite nemen om te reageren is gewoon ronduit triest! Voor ons nooit meer.

Although I have eaten here twice before, I am a little less enthusiastic after my most recent visit. This time there were dishes that clearly came straight from the microwave. The meatballs, for example, were dry and tough. You can always order two tapas dishes via an app. The menu has meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The service is quick; waiting times were not long. The restaurant has a nice Cuban look.

It was very tasty, everyone was satisfied. We were 9 people and no one had any comments. Everyone had had enough. Worth repeating.

Quieter seating than other locations. Where I have been. Recommended also very friendly staff. I went again last Wednesday 10 Jun 25 but I find everything overcooked or very cold and not neatly served a bit like a real food shed. Meatballs dried out and burnt and still put down strange towers of avocado ugly served and ice cold so the taste was just not good. I will not go again was the last time for me.

I go in and talk to the guy behind the bar where I can sit with my wife. We get a table and are told someone will be there soon. After 15 minutes without service, we leave without even thinking about it. There weren't many people inside. No respect!! Shame!!

The food doesn't radiate much. No passion and no creativity at all. Some dishes are really tasteless and the menu has been the same for years. The desserts are still somewhat doable. Two stars with difficulty, but that is mainly to give the young serving team a pat on the back.

Good food, including drinks and certainly not too expensive. Less than 40 euros per person. The atmosphere was good too. The music was not too loud, we could hear each other well. The staff was very friendly. It was service with a smile on the face all evening. We will come here again.

1 hour and 40 minutes before the kitchen closed was apparently too late. Normally this is not a problem because it takes up our time. I suspect the staff just likes to close early. 😂

It's been a while since I've been here. Tasty snacks, too bad there are no desserts. However, you can order them separately for a reasonable additional charge, it was just a pity that the ice cream arrived almost melted, the difference between whipped cream and ice cream was almost impossible to see. Here you can drink an affordable cocktail.

Everything was great.Super tasty food...especially the carpaccio. And the mocktails are also really tasty and not expensive. Very friendly staff too! I will definitely go back more often!

The food is delicious, perfect! The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. The service is also very good and you get really good help. Sometimes things go wrong once, but almost never. After previous bad experiences, I went back again today with a friend. Atmosphere with heaters and service in good order. No, it is not a star restaurant, it is a budget tapas restaurant. The food exceeded expectations this time. Spoken to the chef/manager, they really put a lot of time and attention into improving everything, especially the dishes. Price/compare just fine, now in order. Delicious food for an acceptable price these days. So that's worth 5 stars.

De eerste bestelling duurde erg lang. Bijna 1 uur. Toen we deze kregen was de biefstuk en de kipstokjes koud en zwart. Verder in de avond bestelde we toastje met zalm, toen kwam de ober na een tijdje zeggen dat de zalm op was. Verder hebben we samen toch een gezellige avond gehad. Voorlopig niet meer terug. Komen hier vaker, dit was de eerste keer in Helmond.

Nice concept and very affordable. A little less personal because you place all orders via your telephone. On the other hand, the tapas dishes taste very good and the choice is more than sufficient. As said: price-quality is excellent here.

We have truly never eaten in such a bad restaurant. The food was lukewarm and had no taste. The steak was tougher than bubble gum and the burgers seemed cooked. Stew with fries tasted like shawarma from the shawarma farmer. Everything that came out of the fryer seemed as if it had been in there for too long and then kept warm under a heat lamp. We should have ordered the cocktails in virgin because the alcohol was hard to find. We will not return to this location again, a waste of money.

It was apologized for. They only had 2 staff for the bid while it was very busy in the restaurant. The offer is also much less than it used to be. Delicious food and an ambiance that makes you dream away. All dishes are tasty. The front door is heavy to open. The toilet is a bit more difficult, because you first enter a hall and then have to go through a door.

After the European Championships we wanted to have a bite to eat. It was 8:00 PM when we arrived. Neatly asked if we were still welcome. Here we found staff drinking wine and watching the match. (There were a maximum of 10 people present). Still decided to sit down. Ordering food went well and the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The trouble started with forgetting dishes and offering incomplete dishes. (Think of carpaccio without lettuce) When we asked about it, it was gone. The aioli was also gone and other things. Nothing is stated in advance. The highlight was burnt hamburgers and very tough, well-done gray steak. You wouldn't even give this to your dog... We have been to la Cubanita before and it is not the most fantastic place, but what do you want for this price? But as bad as it is in this establishment is scandalous... What a dampener on the victory of the Netherlands

We hebben in 2 1/2 uur 3 gerechtjes gehad en dat ook nog eens na veel navragen waar de gerechtjes bleven . Daarna kwamen ze zeggen dat de keuken bijna sloot en als we een nagerecht wilden moesten we dat nu gaan bestellen. Het was helemaal niet druk in de zaak dus daar lag het niet aan. Personeel is heel ongeïnteresseerd. Geen aanrader Annie

2021 Delicious tapas at a nice price. Ordering is done via an app on your own phone (which you can activate by scanning an NQR code on the napkin holder of the table) Two tapas per person may be ordered every 10 minutes. The menu is fairly extensive, but we noticed that we ordered the same products again after a few rounds. A little more choice would be nice. The nachos were ok, but for a tapas dish quite a lot with little filling (other than chips) The Sangria was tasty. We will definitely come back again July 2022 Went here again but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated sharply. As the evening progressed, the quality of the food deteriorated rapidly. Meatballs were burnt and lay burnt side down. Chicken skewers were as dry as the stick they were strung on. When we pointed this out to the waiter, she indicated that she had already reported this to the kitchen (complaints from other customers) but that this had not helped yet. Shame...!

The atmosphere was good and the service was fast, but the food was very disappointing. We have sent several things back to the kitchen. Onlangs ben ik hier gaan uiteten, het is over het algemeen wat je van La Cubanita verwacht: goedkoop en redelijk eten, gezellig kletsen en een leuk avondje weg. Paar verbeterpunten: - bediening: eentje was goed en ervaren eentje praatte heel zacht en konden we niet verstaan eentje was heel onpersoonlijk en keek ons geeneens aan. - eten: het koude eten was te koud, was nog redelijk bevroren leek het. het warme eten was bij de meeste gerechten lauw. Dit hoort gewoon echt warm te zijn. Overig: vraag voortaan ook drinken om klanten, hier kan je veel meer omzet mee maken. Bij ons zijn ze alleen op het begin langs geweest om drinken te vragen en de rest van de avond niet meer. Kortom: wil je voor een erg goedkope prijs (€24,95 excl. drank & dessert), een gezellig avondje met familie of vrienden kletsen met wat kwalitatief redelijk hapjes erbij. Dan is La Cubanita Helmond het perfecte restaurant voor jou. Wil je toch liever naar een restaurant met betere kwaliteit zou ik doorzoeken naar De Waard (andere prijsklasse), Bocca Grande, Mas, bij Vrienden …

There were some employees who were not so friendly, they put the food on the corner of the table and did not take back empty plates. Many dishes were fine, some were a bit disappointing. But overall the price-quality ratio is good.

We really enjoyed the exceptionally good service from Marleen and Dominique. Compliments to them! Super friendly, cheerful and warm. The food was fine, especially for the price. Tasty cocktails! Quality did differ per dish; the ham was my favorite. We will definitely come back here ;)
