A very disappointing experience. I specifically called beforehand to ask if we could stay until 11:00 PM with unlimited ordering if we arrived later (7:30 PM). This was confirmed without hesitation. Upon arrival, this suddenly turned out to be incorrect. No responsibility was taken for the error, and there was no apology or solution whatsoever. This is misleading and downright unprofessional. Furthermore, the service was clearly subpar: no warm welcome, no atmosphere, and the staff seemed disinterested. The welcoming atmosphere you expect was completely absent. The phone call also made a bad first impression; there was loud laughter before the phone was answered, and this was done in an unprofessional manner. For a restaurant that thrives on experience and service, this is unacceptable. We will definitely not be returning.

Today we came to eat with 4 people, got drinks after 45 minutes of waiting only got 3 dishes for 4 people so we said something, final discussion where we decided to leave and want to pay for the drinks we had but the lady makes a fuss and wants us to pay for the whole arrangement, of course so not final score only paid for the drinks the lady started arguing last time we ever ate here rude employee immediately fired (I expect team leader there or something had his own clothes on and had the leading role) better go to another sister in any case not in Helmond with rude staff

We had a delicious tapas meal here again over Christmas. Lots of choices, tasty snacks, and generous portions. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a shame about the limited beer menu.

Christmas Eve at her sister's was a new experience for us, but we had such a wonderful time. We've been here before, but this time the atmosphere was different. We had a wonderful time from start to finish, and despite the Christmas rush, the service was top-notch. A small gift afterward made it a perfect Christmas Eve. We'll see you again soon.

Went to eat in Helmond today, nice atmospheric place, very friendly staff, not cheesy people, they walk around with a smile, the food was really delicious, we had Burgundian tapas, we ate at our leisure, didn't have to wait long for our food and if you had questions about what it was, you got an explanation. We had dinner at 't zus on Friday night. We were seated and helped almost immediately. The food was delicious. Early in the evening, it took a while for our first round of food to arrive. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but it's definitely worth it.

Delicious food, friendly staff and cozy decor

I think this is the best restaurant in Helmond when it comes to children's menus. They have a fun and extensive selection of all-you-can-eat dishes for kids. The kids absolutely love it! It's also just a great restaurant: good service and a very interesting atmosphere. We always have a great time there with the whole family.

Positive points: Very beautiful setting, a bit like the Orient Express, tasteful decor, friendly and welcoming staff. Dishes are fairly well prepared and presented. Contrary to some reviews, the wait between courses isn't too long. Negative points: Dark room, dim lighting, few windows, very noisy when it's busy. Guests regularly come with babies and toddlers who scream, throw tantrums, and play like they're in a playground. Very average value for money; this isn't a gourmet restaurant, and the portions are small. The restrooms are moderately clean, and to wash your hands, you have to hold the faucet down. Conclusion: If you enjoy dining over a long period, trying different dishes in a cozy setting, and you have the time, then 't Zusje Helmond can be a very good option. On the other hand, if you're in a hurry, sensitive to noise, or looking for high-end service and a quiet dinner, this might not be for you. If you're not in that situation, bring your children and their toys, because this is a nursery. In fact, I have a suggestion for management: please reserve a room for the children, far away from the quiet customers, put in swings, ball pits, and whatever else you want for their enjoyment. But please, stop bothering us. My eardrum almost bled from the screams of a one-year-old having a tantrum nearby.

Dishes are okay, but there is no dish that stands out. Wide choice and something for everyone. Service varies. Hostess very nice, but the staff who delivers food and collects empty plates less so. The biggest drawback is the price. The food itself is €40 per person and the drinks are very expensive. A glass of Grolsch Weizen €5. The four of us spent more than €240 and you are also asked for a tip.

However: Our hostess Ilonka did everything she could to make things right. 3 stars because of Ilonka's involvement and customer focus. Mr/Mrs Sister: Keep her on board, you have a winner!

You always have to wait a very long time for your food. While your drink will be there in no time, they make money from that. Price to quality is also completely out of proportion

We went to 't Zusje for lunch. It is a beautiful restaurant, very attractively decorated. The food was okay, but we thought it was way too expensive for a few of those small snacks. Service rather nonchalant.

The food is great... only the concept is no longer true, unlimited Burgundian enjoyment. Arrive at 5 p.m., first dish at 6:10 p.m. Then it took a very long time for them to pick up our order. We made a reservation at 7:00 PM and didn't receive our first dish until 7:45 PM, 2 dishes per person and they only come to pick up your tray after 30 minutes. So every time you order, you will only receive your food after 1 hour. So of course they can ask top price for a few dishes. My husband went home still hungry 😅. The food was not at all what we are used to, chicken was burnt and you even get drinks after waiting 45 minutes. Shame! We won't be coming back here again!

't Zusje is a top tent! I like to go here a few times a year, but in Helmond I have now had to wait a very long time between rounds twice in a row. In the beginning it is so busy and you have about one round per hour, after a while the restaurant starts to empty and suddenly you get a round every fifteen minutes. This meant we could not have a nice meal, the wait was also not positive for the atmosphere, we arrived at 7:00 PM and were still really hungry at 8:30 PM because there had only been 1 round. Ps. In Helmond they take the tripod with them so that you cannot submit a new round while one is still running (so if it takes a long time you have 0 options to still eat decently)

During a night away we went to the sister in Helmond since we had good experiences in Bilthoven. But unfortunately it was very disappointing, it took about 45 minutes per round. After which we asked for the bill after 2 dishes and almost 2 hours. When the waiter asked if everything had been satisfactory and we pointed out that it had taken a very long time, he emphasized that it was quite normal and that it could take longer when it is busy. No compensation or apologies were offered, but this put a dampener on our night away. The food was of the quality we were used to.

Was impressed when I walked in. Everything looks beautiful and very cozy. Unfortunately, the positive ends there. The service is slow and you often don't even see it, but it also looks relaxed and casually tells us, after we asked, that the food can take half an hour. Just for the record, this round contained 2 carpaccios and some stuff from the fryer. At the time of writing we are still waiting for this, the 30 minutes are well over. In addition, the skill of the controls is painfully low. Basic knowledge that you normally learn in week 1 of your part-time job is completely missing. As well as the enthusiasm. (This is entirely the responsibility of the owner/manager). I'm afraid we won't be out of here before midnight, even though it's half past eight now.
